The waitress we got was so kind. It really felt amazing that she went out of her way to make a human connection. All she did was say “shh, come here, this never happened” and filled the bottom of my bag with chocolates when I only asked for a handful. I’m not going to name her as she shouldn’t get in trouble, but I’m very thankful for her. I’m going through probably the most emotional, difficult time of my life, and this simple act of kindness and human connection really made me feel much better. I’m very thankful she’s not a lifeless working robot, like many big corporations train their employees to be. She truly went out of her way to make someone’s day just a little better. I really wish the best for her. Thank you for making the hardest week of my life just a little better, and all with delicious chocolates

The food is always great here. Never a complaint about that for sure! The only issue I ever had was a server that didn't like her job , apparently. Haven't seen her since. Every other time the servers are great and very attentive. My tips always reflect the service I get. Seldom do I leave here with out dropping 25 to 35 percent. That says a lot about the service since I actually like to keep my money... 😆 🤣

We went for our anniversary dinner and I have to admit BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! Everything was on point. We had fettuccine chicken alfredo, chicken tortellini alfredo, berry sangria, and the shrimp appetizer, and the strawberry cake. The food and drinks were amazing, the service was wonderful! And the wait was very minimal. Everyone was very pleasant and friendly, including host and bus staff. But, our waitress Melissa L was the icing on the cake. She was fantastic! Best waitress we've had in years by far! This girl deserves a raise! ;) She's definitely a keeper. She never let us go without a thing and even kept checking on us while we waited for our food. We will definitely be back and asking for Melissa L for sure! Thank y'all so much for the wonderful anniversary experience!

We had a great experience at Olive garden! We were seated quickly and our server Mary was there right away. She was fantastic! She gave us time to peruse the menu, she kept our tea glasses filled. She was friendly, efficient and attentive! The food was marvelous! I had the salmon and broccoli, my husband had the chicken margarita. Of course bread sticks and Alfredo sauce! Mary made it a good experience for us!

Endless soup and salad before the main course is always good. The food never disappoints. It's hot and picture perfect. Waiters and wateess come by frequently but not so much they are irratating. Price is anout $13.00 to $18.00 a plate. They keep this restaurant a little on the cool side all of the time so dress accordingly. All in all, it is always worth it here.

To start I had the minestrone soup and it was delicious. My wife and I shared the chicken and shrimp carbonara. This was my portion and it was really good.

Everything was good. But the booths are uncomfortable being a bigger guy. The backrests are very upright and you are VERY close to the table making it very congested. The tables are fixed to the wall so, you cannot move them. Staff was friendly and quick.

Sometimes things just don't work out the way we want. Three senior citizens, two struggle to hear normal conversation. We were disappointed that our request to be seated further away from the kitchen was denied. But we managed to enjoy my best friend's birthday lunch just fine. The restaurant was clean. Bear with me on this intro: We had quit eating at this Olive Garden a few years ago. The carpets were always filthy, the service was hit or miss, and the food had gotten lackluster. But my husband had read some recent reviews for it & he convinced me to give it a try. Wow, am I glad he convinced me to give it a second chance! They have revamped the interior since my last visit - new carpets & wall treatments. Everything smelled clean! Our waiter was attentive & professional without hovering. I don't remember what I ordered (I've slept since then), but husband got the AYCE Soup & salad & was very pleased. He's a big soup guy & the Minestrone & the Zuppa Toscana were delicious. We were both very pleased with this visit & we will add this Olive Garden back to our list of Abilene restaurants to try when we are in town.

The grilled salmon was absolutely delicious! So far, the best I've tasted in Abilene. The buttered broccoli it came with was just as tasty. I didn't care much for the breadsticks. They were too dry for me. However, the salad was very good. Vegetables were crispy and had a nice crunch. We were annoyed by a fly that found it amusing to bother our group. It stuck around for quite some time before it decided it had enough. Other than that, I enjoyed the food and the service.

It was raining the day that we visited the restaurant. As we were waiting for a table we noticed that the roof was leaking in the lobby sitting area in several places. There were 2 lady's attending the sitting area but they disregarded the wet floor. We notified them the puddles of water on the floor and they said they knew about it. We told them it would be a good idea to put a wet floor sign out for the customers and it irritated then, but they finally said they would call someone. We were seated and had a good meal. When we went to leave we noticed the roof still leaking and there were not any wet floor signs out still. Very dangerous. Hope no one has been injured there when it rains.

(the last few times our group has went. We have had bad servers very rude people.) Matthew G. was very attentive very helpful. My only problem was I paid with a credit card. when the server brought our cards and receipts out to us he said “that’s a really pretty card. you realize that’s a QR code on your card?” at which point he took out his phone and it automatically scanned my card on his phone. I said what the heck! He’s like oh shoot sorry Joyce ____. Let me delete it.” it Then he deleted it, or acted like he deleted it. anyway at that point, I was very upset and ready to go. I came home and had to cancel my card because it had been compromised! Therefore, my total overall scoring is lower than what it would’ve been because of that one event. 2/13/26 update: I did talk with one of the managers today because I was just so freaked out about what happened and I’m sure the young man meant no harm but I felt like it needed to be reported. so they are definitely going to talk to their staff about not doing that to anyone; and I definitely will not have a credit card like that again!

I feel Dining experience is great but To Go is a NO! Ordered soup/salad and my soup was just broth, i did find two potato slices in there I guess that's good enough. Also they totally ignored my request for no onions, and olives..Yes I simply picked them out but the onion flavor lingered. I also asked for extra dressing and that was a no go too. I resorted to Kraft Italian which ruined the flavor. Bread was super hard but I dipped it in my broth to soften some. I was hoping to find maybe a package of cheese for my salad but I guess they don't offer that. I most likely won't order to go again. Edit- Olive Garden contacted me and I had a much better experience after last! Currently dining in for Veterans day and I just have to say Thank You! Ended up going to get to-go. I was happy with how many bread sticks they gave us. We ordered three meals, while the two chicken Parmesans' were perfect, unfortunately the lasagna was cold. While I do realize it is to-go and will cool off in transit, it shouldn't still be frozen in the center with the cheese on top of it not even melted. The service was excellent, even calling back to confirm and let me know of a possible upcharge due to changes made to the plates. As for the atmosphere, it feels far too modern and lifeless. It doesn't have the atmosphere that the olive garden had of years past. It feels more like a fast food restaurant with lower lights. The entrance was odd and felt like the place wasn't even open.

Overall, the experience was good. The server was having an off day, so some of the orders took a bit to get right. My lasagna came out as the smallest portion I have had at an Olive Garden. My strawberry daiquiri tasted like coconut rum was used to make it.

Kids favorite restaurant. Been to this location 3 times.. The first, the male server held the device while rushing you to pay before finishing your meal, gave everyone the same story about putting his kid through college and low key dissed you for buying dr.pepper.. then after you tip him ghosts you following your meal. The other times had the same female server both times she was exceptional food as well

The fettuccine alfredo on the lunch menu was not very good. It was served in a small salad bowl and the sauce separated/curdeled and didn't taste very good. The server was nice, but no one came around to even apologize for the food. I had ordered a to-go plate for my brother and canceled it. Not sure, if this is their standard, but it was today.

I love olive garden and would never discourage going here, but the employees must have either had a really bad day when I arrived, or its constantly this bad. We awaited our seats and they were packed as expected, and that was okay. When we were sat at our tables, the service was good, but a few gross moments occured. My silverware looked like it was already used, and so did my girlfriends. One of the waiters had dropped a glass right next to the table me and my girlfriend were sitting at. Whatever was in that cup got on both me and her and it was frankly disgusting. The liquid lay on the floor for about 5 minutes before someone came to clean it up, which wasn't even the man who spilt it. I understand being busy, its a struggle especially when mistakes happen, but I didnt have a fun time this last visit

We went two evenings about a week apart. Both times food was over cooked, or cold. The waitress were wonderful. For the price of the food you would expect a lot better. Also they advertise that the soup is made from scratch, but we had a family member end up with plastic in the bowl and the service staff said"it was from the soup bag when they opened it to warm it up." The entire time I was eating my food all I could think about was wondering if I was eating my dinner off dirty plates, not at all what I would expect from a 4.3 star rated restaurant” dirty plates and undercooked steak. We came to celebrate a birthday and have dinner. The waitress was very like and prompt. The food however left a lot to be desired. We were seated on Sunday evening, waited for a waitress. Turned the light on for waitress after setting with NO SERVICE for 10 minutes. Waitresses were going by and did not stop and check. Daughter got up and checked with one, waitress came by and said area was closed! Did we move? NO! Went to check with hostess came back and told us no one had set us. We got up to leave. As we went out we were thanked for our visit. A bald headed manager? was standing there. Will NOT go back. They lost probably $100.00 plus and the waitress lost a very good tip. After sitting in my car for 30 minutes after checking in using their link in the text message, I walked inside to retrieve my order that was not ready yet. The employee at the take out desk said she would go check on it. Another lady walked in after me and stated that her order was supposed to be ready at 1130, at this point it was 1230. Her order was ON THE COUNTER!!! No one had taken it out to her! No telling how long it had been there, the food was probably cold at this point. Sat at the bar, watched several workers walk by me for 15 mins before the bartender came, I wanted to make a to go order already knew what wanted, also wanted a couple beers while I waited was told he couldn't take my order had to go to some desk to make it, never got offered a drink. Yall should just take the bar out if we cant sit and relax while we wait for our order, tall Mexican guy was bartender. Went about 230 pm they were not busy at all. Wont be back, hope manager can fix this for others. Pretty ridiculous, was gonna easily spend 100$ and would have been a 25$ tip minimum.

All I asked, was for them to make sure that they kept my daughter’s food separate from food that had eggs in it because she is anaphylactic to eggs and they brought the manager to my table to proceed to tell me they don’t use egg products and argue when I had the allergy menu pulled up showing all of the products that do contain eggs. It is not that hard just to have them keep my daughter‘s food separate from that food

The Calamari was undercooked, and the chicken was cold. I was hesitant to eat here hearing/reading bad reviews. I won't make this mistake again

Wonderful service by Chris (bartender) he stayed professional and didn't engage in the horse play around him. Terrible host and what I could only assume was a sad display of "management" who was blissfully unaware of his staff who where very quick to insult him when he left. Young ladies and men need a serious lesson in restaurant etiquette. Between looking like they just came from class or a day out and being obnoxiously loud they were also eating at the host stand. Entirely unprofessional and made sitting at the bar far from a nice quiet dinner. Don't get me started on the inappropriate flirting with staff including foul language (cussing) and bad mouthing/gossiping about customers. Customers don't need to hear about who is sleeping together or who is breaking up. They even filmed multiple tiktok videos. Would hate to know what they said when I left considering everyone was a topic of conversation including poor relations with other staff members and people actively leaving the establishment.
