We had lovely burgers with a pint of beer as a meal and it was delicious and well served. The atmosphere and service was really good. Inside the place was nicely decorated and designed. Highly recommended.
Last year in New York, my mom had a terrible fall while leaving her favorite Irish pub. It was traumatic and honestly scarred the whole trip for all of us. This year, we went back — not to relive it, but to heal it. My sister, my mom, and I sat at the bar together, determined to replace that painful memory with a better one. We were blessed with the sweetest bartender and then met the most wonderful family from Boston — a mom, dad, their son who was in New York for a basketball convention, and the husband. Total strangers who quickly felt like friends. They insisted on buying us our favorite drink — Nutty Irishmen — and just like that, the night shifted into something beautiful. We laughed, talked, connected, and walked out of that restaurant in triumph instead of trauma. We ended our vacation on the highest, happiest note. My mom is of Irish descent, and one day we hope to go to Ireland together. But for now, New York and the Pig & Whistle will always hold a special place in our hearts. This trip gave us nothing but good memories — and reminded us that sometimes healing comes in the form of kind people, good conversation, and shared moments you never expect. Already looking forward to next year. 🍀💚
Came into Pig N Whistle hungry. Left emotionally fulfilled, spiritually renewed, and 40% convinced that our waitress Lisa might actually be running the place behind the scenes. The food? Fantastic. The vibes? Immaculate. The service? Lisa-level, which I can only describe as a rare mix of stand-up comedy, therapist energy, and Olympic-level multitasking. She appeared at our table exactly when we needed her, like some kind of pub-dwelling guardian angel, except instead of wings she carried drinks and devastatingly good banter. At one point I swear Lisa read my mind. I thought about another drink and—BAM—she was already there asking if I wanted one. Either that or she’s psychic. Both options are impressive and slightly alarming. The Pig N Whistle itself is a classic: great food, cold drinks, and the kind of atmosphere where you accidentally stay for three hours and don’t regret a single minute. But Lisa took it from “great pub” to “I will be telling this story to strangers.” If you come here and don’t get Lisa as your waitress, just ask politely and wait. She’ll appear. She always does. Highly recommend. Would return. Would trust Lisa with my future children.

Was in the city last week to watch the Rockettes and needed to find a place for lunch before the show started. The group of friends I was with found this place, and we loved it so much, we just HAD to come back here for dinner.
Evan is such a great server and was super patient with us! When I didn’t like my drink he was able to accommodate me with no problems. It’s only his first week and he was able to give a bunch of great recommendations on food. Def look for him when you get there! Otherwise, visited on the holidays and it definitely gave me the Christmas feels.
The best kind of pub experience you can hope for in midtown Manhattan. Great beer selection, excellent cocktails, friendly staff, and I can’t wait to come back and try the menu. Shoutout to Fransisco the bartender for a making a big city bar feel like a local establishment.

Festive for the season….Killian served us at the upstairs bar, and made a bomb Irish coffee, including Guinness syrup. 0 stars only because it didn’t have the food.

Such an incredible spot! Staff was excellent especially Killian behind the bar. Lots of Irish staff as well so they really bring that pub energy!!! Highly recommend popping in for a drink!
