Tommy and Jillian were wonderful servers! The atmosphere was great and food was delicious!
Great food and unbelievable friendly environment. Truly a pleasure to stop here on our travels. Would definitely be a regular spot if I lived here
I am happy to say Ralphs hasn't changed in any way since I was a kid. Great food, people, and service! I'll admit I can be a picky eater and a tough customer. However I was met with a meal that brought me back to college four hours up north! If that isn't something to brag about I don't know what is! If you are looking for a place to rest a weary head with a few drinks and some laughs this is the place!
Was staying at hotel a couple blocks away & wanted good food, relaxed atmosphere and a cocktail in a locally owned business after a long day on the road & Ralph's had it all! Friendly staff, good food, good portions & very reasonable prices. The chocolate layer cake recommended by our waitress for dessert was yummy. We ate about 4:00 & as we left they were really getting busy on a weeknight so go early or make a reservation. Glad we stumbled in & highly recommend supporting this great local restaurant.
In the area from RI for our son’s game at SUNY Albany and our son found the online menu of Ralph’s Tavern. Absolutely the best service and the most kind and attentive staff. And the food was delicious! Meals come with soup or salad and the best crusty, warm bread. My son got their award winning wings and the mozzarella sticks which were both so good. He also got the chicken parm. My husband got the chicken Sorrento and I got the pasta marinara with jumbo shrimp. All delicious, good size portions and prepared perfectly. Such a great experience!
Great little Italian spot! Atmosphere is cozy. Tom & the staff is always welcoming & attentive! Wings & sausage & peppers pizza are the best! We love the meatballs too!
Food was excellent!!! The staff was extremely friendly and made sure we were good throughout our meal. Prices were good and were less than what I thought they would be for the very large portions of food you got. I had enough for leftovers the next day. The bread they serve at the tables; before your meal is served, is excellent. It I served warm a d has a crunchy outside a d a warm soft inside highly recommend if yiunare in the area. I was visiting from out of state.
They went above and beyond to accommodate us after we showed up for our reservation a day early. Everything was excellent from the food to the service!! Tom is trying really hard to ensure all patrons and staff are having a great experience!
Super friendly service with our baby. Evan was incredibly nice to our son while he was busy cleaning. Aiden was very friendly as well. Syarra was a great waitress and very attentive. We will be back.
Had a great pizza and wings food was delicious wings were crispy and very flavorful. Tom and Vickie were excellent and took great care of us. Super friendly and great atmosphere….Definitely recommend going YOUR GOING TO LOVE IT🤩🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
White pizza was great boneless wings cooked perfect. Service is impeccable. Family of 5 dinner bill 127.00. Predinner coctail martini, beer, soda, mockcoctail, margaritta 21.00
We stopped in as we were passing through town. It happened to be my son's birthday and he was excited about the very minute he was born. Our server Kim made sure to bring him out a candled desert and sang to him the very minute he was born. It was an amazing surprise for sure. The food was great. The pasta bowls are quite large. And something about the Coca-Cola was as good as or better than McDonald's coke (iykyk). Staff was super attentive - when we dropped a fork, 2 of them were offering a new fork before my kid finished rolling his eyes. My other kid now wants to go here for his birthday (we live 1500 miles away).
Absolutely delicious/ was recommended by our hotel and this absolutely an awesome experience—food., atmospheric- staff were a well oiled machine taking care of customer- hope to be back soon
Everything was top-notch. They were slam packed and handled everything perfect. I really appreciate the service.
We always have a great meal at Ralph’s and Tommy makes us feel like family! Even on the weekend when the place is packed the food is plentiful and delicious and the service team is attentive and pleasant.
My friend and I stopped in for dinner and drinks last night. He's from Vegas and I'm from Maryland and we were only spending one day in Albany and we chose to go to Ralph's. What a great choice. I had the fried shrimp - yummy. Their coleslaw is excellent. My friend had an open face meatball sandwich. They were the largest meatballs I've ever seen. He enjoyed them. Everyone was so nice from the bartender/owner to the clientelle. We met so many nice people and they were all so friendly to us. The bar/restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. We highly recommend Ralph's.
Stopped at Ralph's after stopping in Albany for the night from a trip to Maine. My cousin and I each ordered the half plates of pasta...hers the penne with meat sauce, mine the linguine with red clam sauce. These half plates were huge and delicious, chock full of meat and clams. The bread was delicious too. We were too full for dessert! Our server Kim, was delightful and attentive and friendly. We lucked out that evening by choosing Ralph's for our dinner!
Every time I am in town I make it a point to visit, great food, great service, great atmosphere!
Picking up order for family member Staff was great ,friendly and prompt. Food as hot, large serving size with enough for next day. Was told tasted Great! Ty.
The meat sauce is excellent and the wings (appetizer) are the best you can get anywhere. The staff is warm and by luck, were able to accommodate our party of 8, after our daughter’s soccer game. We were traveling from New Hampshire and felt right at home. Can’t wait to go back!!!
The atmosphere in Ralph’s Tavern is so welcoming. Tom makes you feel so special when you walk in. He remembered us from last year. The food was great and so was the service. You will not regret coming here!!!
Patty is a veteran waitress and feels like family every week when we go in. The food is homemade Italian
Awesome "dive" bar that has a huge selection of food. If you want amazing wings, appetizers, and a fancy pasta dish at 10PM, along with delicious drinks and a rowdy crowd, this is the place!
Typical older style bar restaurant area very cozy and comfortable, the food here is always great.
Great atmosphere and top-notch service, will definitely come back again.
Great food and the service was outstanding. We were a group of 10, and the servers were friendly and attentive. Portions were generous, and we happened to be there on $12 bottle wine night. What's not to like?
Ralph's is a family place with great food and drink for a great price! I've never been disappointed! The Caesar Salad is the best one around!! The pizza is delicious and so are those buffalo wings. Wings are tradition buffalo chicken wings! so yummy!!
We stopped at Ralph’s on the way home from vacation, we aren’t from the area. I have a child with multiple severe food allergies (dairy, eggs, all nuts, sesame) and finding a restaurant who can confidently prepare him a safe meal is never easy. I called while driving down and they put the kitchen manager/chef Norm on the phone who was incredibly kind and understanding of my situation, and made me feel both comfortable and confident that he could keep my son safe. Our server Jillian was absolutely amazing, she was so sweet and friendly, she was incredible with both of my children, and her service was fast and fantastic. I told her how I had spoken to Norm and she had already heard of our situation and was more than happy to accommodate us in any way she could. Norm stopped by our table twice to ask questions and make sure we felt comfortable, and he checked in again before we left. I rarely feel this comfortable at restaurants as both Norm and Jillian made me feel. As a food allergy mom, it’s more appreciated than words can express. My son loves going out to eat and when we are treated with such kindness and compassion from staff rather than confusion and annoyance, it makes a huge difference in our lives, so thank you both so very much. The food was awesome too, the place was very busy for a Monday night. It was a wonderful experience and we will return when we are back in the Albany area!
Tom was the best thing ever!!!! He changed the whole atmosphere and the food was delicious 😋. Thank you. Will def. Come again.
Everybody was wonderful! From the food to the friendly, outgoing, entertaining service. We had a great night. Highly recommend this small business. Make sure you talk to Tom, he’s the best!
Can I do higher than five stars? Get the mozzarella sticks, raspberry sauce. You will not regret it. Great wings, great drinks, nothing you can order that you'll regret later. Be prepared to eat more than you want because it's so good, then take half a pound of food home that you'll eat at 4am the following morning. We get a lot of food every time and wish we got something to go. I almost don't want to write a review because this has been our secret Albany trip spot, but I can't keep quiet about this lovely spot
Was in town for work and had dinner at Ralph’s Tavern. Ordered the garlic bread with mozzarella and the portion was huge and delicious. Also had the half portion of cheese ravioli with the house sauce. Very tasty but my only complaint would be that it was just warm, not hot. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Overall a good experience.
We were tired of the chain Italian restaurants so we tried Ralph's Tavern. Courteous staff, our food arrived at the table quickly, and best of all, it was delicious. I had the lasagna with meat and my wife had the chicken sorrento. The price was great too. I expected Tony Soprano to walk in and sit at a table at any moment. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for great Italian food.
Classic Italian dishes & great tavern food without the bells and whistles. Nothing fancy here, Ralph’s has been serving Italian standards and great pizza and wings for years. Always among the top 3 when it comes to the best chicken wings in the area. Unlike the other two competitors in the wing category, Ralph’s menu doesn’t stop at wings. They also have great pizza and excellent Italian dishes. My favorite is the Baked Cavatelli. Ralph’s is always a great choice for take out, Come for the wings and grab a pasta dish too, you won’t regret it!
Hands down best sausage pizza. Glad this place was recommended to me. Great flavor and was done extra how I asked. Wings were pretty great too.
You can dress in any way, sports jacket, or just getting out of work blue collar and feel comfortable. Right off the exit i90. You won't be disappointed.
I try to eat dinner at Ralph’s every time I visit Albany, and it never disappoints. Excellent food, reasonable prices, courteous attentive staff, and friendly patrons (mostly regulars) - what more can you ask for?!
We finished some and combined the garlic bread with mozz and tomato on the same plate as the potato skins to make room. Both were excellent, cooked perfectly with amazing texture (potato soft, skin crispy. Bread crisp, cheese and tomato fresh). I ordered the steak torpedo and fries abs enjoyed the flavor of both so much that I didn't add ketchup or anything (though I salted the torpedo slightly). My wife got the chicken fricassee and enjoyed the flavor quite a bit. I gave 5 stars because 4.5 isn't an option. I was a little disappointed that the potato skins had a canned type cheese, it was actually pretty good however considering. Over all I highly recommend Ralph's.
At 1st glance this is not a place that we would normally stop at when visiting Albany, but Ralph's may have changed our thoughts on what to look for.... Once you step in its a bit of a time warp. With that being said, the place is one of the cleanest places we've ever been in! Packed on a Monday at 5:30 and the food looked amazing and large portioned. Although our meals were not gourmet they were far better than many so called gourmet restaurants we've gone to. Our bartenders Cho and Kate were attentive and Kate's recommendations were spot on! 1st time in, but not the last! We will be back!!
We came in to drop our child off to school and became hungry. We selected Ralph's online and it turned out to be an EXCELLENT choice. We enjoyed the food. The service was good. My family enjoyed the time there.
Did a lathe takeout, 60 wings and fried greenbeans. Wings were excellent, had zesty the garlic, garlic Parm, medium and honey BBQ. Greenbeans were also good.
Great meals and a family atmosphere in the restaurant section. I didn't go into the bar but it was packed. My steak sandwich was a good sized steak, cooked exactly how i wanted. The chicken wings were some of the best I've had. The wait staff was friendly and attentive.
If you want to see how a packed Friday night restaurant should be run, go to Ralph’s Tavern. We walked in not realizing how busy it would be — the place was jammed — yet within minutes we had drinks in hand and were seated in a very reasonable time thanks to Tommy. In the past, we avoided Friday nights because the wait felt endless and the dining room seemed chaotic. Now, even when you’re waiting, there’s a sense that things are moving and that there’s light at the end of the tunnel. Tommy has brought order and flow to a very busy space. Tommy is nothing short of a legend. He runs the dining room with calm authority, humor, and an energy that keeps everything moving without making guests feel rushed. The way he works with the staff — constant communication, mutual respect, and true teamwork — creates an upbeat, welcoming vibe throughout the room. Even on a hectic night, he checked in and made us feel genuinely valued. Our waitress was wonderful — friendly, attentive, and completely on top of everything despite the crowd. It was also great to see owner Lee greeting guests and keeping an eye on the dining room. You can tell he truly cares about running a smooth operation and creating a great customer experience. We also loved seeing local young people clearing tables — polite, hardworking, and full of personality — a great example of supporting community youth. We kept it simple — pizza, antipasto, and drinks — but that pizza didn’t stand a chance: light, airy, incredibly fresh, and served piping hot in the pan. There are very few places left that deliver that classic, fresh-from-the-oven pizzeria experience. As we left, Tommy thanked us for coming and wished us a good evening — the perfect finishing touch to a well-run, memorable night. Now we understand exactly why Ralph’s is such a neighborhood favorite. We’ll definitely be back.
Everything about this place thrilled me starting with the host Tom energy was amazing friendly efficient quick then we had Sierra as our server beautiful girl on point efficient Nice and Gavin was a bus boy. He was amazing as well. The whole experience will have me going back again and again we were celebrating a friends 50th birthday. They came out and sang happy birthday to her. I just have to say I will be back again.
I took my 83 year old dad to dinner here tonight. Food was delicious and dad said the old Italian music brought him back to his childhood. Waitress was very happy, nice and fast to bring out our food. Even the busboy was smiling. Tommy stopped over twice to ask how everything was and if we needed anything. He is so friendly and personable. Highly recommend Ralph’s! Thanks for an enjoyable dinner.
I've always loved coming here. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is quick but not rushed. The service was top notch as it is every time I come here. The wings truly deserve to have been voted best in Albany several times. Italian classics are prepared the way you like them to be. Beer selection is good and the staff is very friendly.
Ok . I was in Albany 4 days and planned on Ralph’s at least twice. But my people were sick and also time flew by so I only went once unfortunately. I was going to order what the pictures show and get my Italian dinner on the second visit. But I ate backwards . We ordered a drink and I also couldn’t wait to have my all time favorite spumoni. So I ordered it with my wine lol. As you can see this isn’t the spumoni I used to get here all the time. While everything else is being downsized and twice as expensive ( not here!) this was a was a fun surprise !! I thought I would eat a quarter of it but I ate the whole thing. So exciting!! Sorry to say that was my appetizer, meal and dessert for the evening. Still can’t believe I ate the whole thing. Plus WOW how could that be $8.95??? That would be 2 times more $$ anywhere else. I’m coming back this month and will continue my favorite food journey from Ralph’s . Thank you for staying true to your roots. It’s very important to the community and our memories!
We booked a Christmas party for our farmer's market. There were 17 of us. The folks at Ralph's arranged the tables so we could all sit side by side. The staff treated us, a bunch of farmer's market vendors, like we were royalty. The food was delicious and the staff was awesome. We will be back next year. Thank you. The vendors at the Tuesday Delmar Farmer's Market.
First time at Ralph's but won't be the last. Friendly and efficient service, a great menu and an upbeat vibe throughout. Large portions at reasonable prices. Food was excellent, loved the marinara and the parmigianna. Great night. Highly recommend
We had an amazing experience at Ralph’s. It was our first time there, food was delicious and staff welcoming. Tom shared his 30+ years working along side family and great friends during this time. With an extra personal touch of his grandsons newest pictures. The pasta, bread, salad and tiramisu. Definitely a must return to when we are in the area in June again for lacrosse. Thanks, Sarah from Rochester, NY.
We go to Ralph's every time we are in Albany and it never disappoints. Great service. Zhou ( sp?) is the best. Last night I had kickin honey garlic wings, the night before we had a pizza and 3 nights before that I had the half portion of linguini with red clam sauce. I would recommend any of them. Great place!
Delicious food, Great service , reasonable and plentiful servings. We were a party of 7. All of our meals were perfect. Sierra our waitress was terrific. Tom our host made us feel like family. Our new favorite restaurant.
I recently had lunch at Ralph’s, for the first time in many years. It was comforting to see that little had changed. Ralph’s has a welcoming, friendly vibe. Their menu is extensive with enticing choices. My turkey club was a substantial, tasty three decker sandwich. Service was prompt and friendly. Ralph’s remains a reliable restaurant with a steady customer base.
We were so fortunate to have Ralph’s Tavern cater my son’s Celebration of Life. From start to finish, the entire team was kind, sensitive, and incredibly fair with their pricing. We had about 100 guests, and everyone truly enjoyed the food—the flavor, the quality, and the generous portions. They even provided takeout containers so guests could bring leftovers home (which they gladly did!). That thoughtful touch meant a lot. Joe helped me plan the menu and portions, and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. Lee was also wonderful—kind and helpful over the phone, and even made special arrangements for my elderly parents’ meals. Norm delivered and set everything up beautifully in chafing dishes. The food arrived hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Truly amazing. Ralph’s has always been a family favorite. My son, myself, and many of our relatives make it a point to eat there anytime we’re back in Albany. It’s hands down our favorite Italian spot. I can’t recommend them enough—whether you’re dining in or looking for catering, Ralph’s is it!!
Have always liked the spaghetti and meat sauce . And of course, always have to take a pizza home. I have been back 2 times since my return from Florida. The spaghetti and meat sauce and the pizza is consistently great. My server both times was Rachel. Who is always upbeat, kind, and professional. Thanks Rachel. I always enjoy my time there. I forgot to add that i usually get a glass of beer along with a glass of diet soda. I appreciate that they have 10 ounce glasses as I like a little beer but with the soda and food a pint is too much for me. I get a feeling of peace in some places and it has happened here . Visited again today. Had my usual. Very good, Gosh, I could have the spaghetti, and meat sauce or meatballs every day. Visited again today, the14th of May . Had my usual, spaghetti with meat sauce. Very good!!! Very consistent. The difference today is I did not get a pizza to go . I will again soon. Rachel waited on me again. Always good to see her. Jackie was there this time also. I have not seen her in a while. I guess was the day of the week. She is also a very fine waitress. Was good to see her. Gee.. the more I go ,the longer the review. Went for lunch again yesterday . Jackie was my server and was good to see her again. I passed on the pizza to go again. Tough for me to do but I wanted the spaghetti and meat sauce. I could enjoy it every day. But I do have to try some other things and places. The review gets longer and longer. As the saga continues. Visited again, today, the 4th. Had my usual and it was very good!!! I started eating again before I took the photos. Could not help myself..... I was glad Jackie was there and was my waitress. She is always upbeat and kind. Had to pass on the pizza to go. That can not continue. I am trying to watch my carbs but life is too short. I am fortunate to have written 124 reviews, (with 148,000 photo views, over 200,000 review views) from as far away as Paris, France, and also New Orleans at a small place called, belive it or not, "Mona Lisa's" and west coast florida. Ralph's can hold its own with italian dishes. I had great meatballs in New Orleans but no others have been as good as Ralph's in my humble opinion. Til the next, arrivederci.
In town for work and I found this place online. The food is amazing. It tastes like authentic home-cooked meals. The stuffed mushrooms were bursting with flavor and the eggplant veal dish was amazing. The service is top-notch; you can tell this is a family-run business. The environment is pretty cool and makes you feel like you are sitting in your own dining room. Sitting here eating, I hear laughs and fun times coming from the bar in the other room. You can tell this is a "regular joint" for many locals. I highly recommend this place for the great food and awesome experience.
Absolutely phenomenal establishment! The staff here go out of their way to meet, greet and actually take time to have a conversation with you. This restaurant feels like home. There are a lot of regulars here. Let’s talk about the food…. As the pictures indicate, plating is beautiful! The portions are generous. The flavor is exquisite! Everything was just Perfect. Rachel was our server. She was very attentive even though she has a lot of tables. We didn’t have to wait or wonder when a drink would be refilled. The remainder of the wait staff hustled and bustled. Tommy and Joe made us feel welcomed and important. We can’t wait to come back! Go Bills! Oh and Josh Allen, Joe says hello :)

Atmosphere unknown we had to do carryout. Although our family has been going there for 40 plus years, my mother is no longer able to climb the stairs to go in and eat at her all time favorite restaurant. Absolutely a lot of local people don’t understand this and resent it.
I was in town on a business trip and wanted to try a local place to eat. I decided to go because the prime rib sounded good. I ate at the bar and was treated like family. The meatball soup was outstanding. I really like the end cut and was happy to get one. Part through the meal I was brought extra au jus without asking, a very nice touch. I'll surely make this a regular stop when I'm in town.
Nice Italian restaurant. The wait staff was very friendly and service was great. Food portions were generous and prices are reasonable. We tried the pizza and linguini with clan sauce which tasted very good. Would definitely recommend.
Jackie is a great waitress. Food is always good. Except, for the last two times. I ordered large pizza to go and they come out brunt and small.
Great Italian food and super service. Very friendly. Excellent desserts too.
Nice little joint with some decent food. Not a place for which I would recommend the Chicken Franchise. The sausage was good, the fra diablo sauce better. Bread is extra. Salad was fine. But let's be clear, this is more a pub/sports bar than a restaurant. The wings smelled divine every time they passed by us. The staff seems to not get along well. One sever in particular kept talking down to the others and bus servers. But the service was still good.
Not a bad place to relax at lunchtime. The service was good and the food was great. Not often that I've had a pickle and Cole slaw served with a sausage torpedo but who's complaining? Great quiet atmosphere. Will be returning again. The salad was a little small too. That's my only judgement but I can get past that.
Very good Italian food. Although they should have drained the noodles better on my linguine with white clam sauce, it made the sauce thin & watered down. The waitress was great, she made sure we had everything we needed. But, the bus staff was too eager, trying to remove our plates twice before we were done eating. All in all, I'd go here again if I get back to this area.

We were disappointed. Traveling thru the Hudson Valley, the website boasted great food and views of the bridge, so we stopped. Service was slow, staff wasn't overly friendly, food was ok, but nothing to write home about. They nickle and died us for everything. Even an extra charge for using credit over cash. Just not tourist friendly.
We sat at the bar. The bartender didn't acknowledge us, walk by us a few times just to talk to regular customers. Then she puts ice in the ice well. When she got to us she took our drink order and walked off And took care of a couple customers before bringing us our drinks. We live a hour away in massachusetts and we've been here a few times. And for the most part it has been fine.

I have been going to Ralph since I was little. When they opened and the food was fantastic. They changed a lot of stuff. I ordered boldless wings last night. You couldn't even eat them cause. They were so hard and then they brought out the chicken parm. Without the bread and I had this really small piece when I seen another plate come by. It was 3 times my size, and the sauce was thicker. Mine was watery, it was terrible. And for the price they charged. That's insane. We will never be going back there again. And I would recommend people to really try not going there for a while because the food was terrible.
I grew up going to Ralph's and have great memories with my grandparents there. Today its not even close to what It was. We ordered food to go and it was absolutely awful. I had the veal sorento with linguine the veal was dried out and had no flavor the eggplant tasted like it was prebattered and frozen. The linguine was so over cooked it turned to mush in my mouth. My wife had the chicken parm which was just a little bit better than the veal. Her linguine was also way over cooked. Im very sad to see such a decline in what was a quality restaurant. Perhaps dine in is the only way to go.
I don't know what happened to this place. My wife and I used to eat here frequently and the food was very good. Now it's terrible. I ordered spaghetti with red clam sauce and I got a plate full of water (see. photos) I kid you not...WATER! there were a few prices of canned tomatoes on the plate, but no sauce. The waitress was very good about taking it off the bill. This is the second chance we've given Ralph's, but no more,
Stopped the other night with my son in a wheelchair. They front desk people looked at me like I was an alien when I asked if they had a wheelchair entrance. Imagine being a restaurant in 2025 and not having a wheelchair accessible entrance…In your 50+ years of existence you couldn’t scrape together enough spare cash to install a ramp so disabled people can access your restaurant? Don’t solicit restaurants that aren’t accessible.:.if they don’t prioritize disabled people don’t prioritize giving them your $$.
We came here for a special occasion. My recommendation is that if you’ve ever been anywhere, you don’t need to go here. There are probably 50 other Italian restaurants in the area we could have spent $110 at tonight and we chose the wrong one. Red sauce tasted like straight tomato puree from a can, eggplant parmesan was cooked by someone who has never eaten eggplant parmesan, linguine with white clam sauce was not white at all and completely flavorless. I would not call what I was served lasagna. The only decent dish was our son’s sirloin, which he loved (but he’s 12). He really enjoyed it but an adult who’s ever eaten out at a decent restaurant would have sent it back. The staff was delightful, including our waitress Kim, but things were woefully slow all around. Made a reservation and still waited 40 minutes when we arrived (for a 4-top!) and didn’t get our meals until after we’d been there over 80 minutes overall.
We ordered two fish fries from Ralph’s through DoorDash. They delivered promptly, but the food was horrible. The fish was rubbery. The only thing that was edible with the french fries I called Ralphs. They told me to go through DoorDash to get the refund. Then DoorDash tells me I have to go to Ralph’s to get the refund subsequently the only refund we received was a five dollar refund for a $40 meal that we could not eat stay away from Ralph’s!
Ordered Rueben’s and turkey sandwich. Let’s just say it was hardly edible!! No mustard on 2 no Russian about 3 pieces of I think they call corned beef sandwich about 2 inches thick.cheese so melted you couldn’t even see it, It was a lesson well learned after and $80+order Even the Turkey sandwich was gross. I’ll never order from them again. Heard they went downhill but come on. 🤦♀️
We ordered linguine with clam sauce and it was a barely edible, flavorless, soggy mess. $20 down the drain. We always order from Ralph’s when we pass through Albany, and it seems like they get worse and worse every time. We won’t make the same mistake again.
So disappointing. We made a reservation ahead of time, showed up and no table was ready, we waited 40 minutes to be seated. Then waited another 32 minutes for entrees to come out and they didn’t all come out at the same time, waited another 10 minutes for the missing entree to come to the table. Steak was ordered medium well and was the driest piece of meat I’ve ever eaten, eggplant Parmesan drenched in oil and tasted like old fryer oil (had two bites and stopped eating), all pasta dishes had watery sauce and completely flavorless. The waitress was nice enough, that’s about the only good thing I can say.
I decided to have wings for dinner. I kept hearing about this spot Ralph's and how they have good wings...well I beg to differ. I ordered lemon pepper crispy and medium, when I say those wings was so hard and dried out. I'm so disappointed and for the price they charged so not worth it.. Ralph's get a thumbs down from me.
Low grade dog food. Avoid this. ****The chicken francese was so awful. Not fillet, little half slices & the sauce was greasy & inedible. Took one bite & threw it out. Chicken soup was also vile. Staff was super nice though. But you need a new cook & well, better recipes
I ordered the garlic and oil pasta and it's s undercooked and BATHED in oil. Practically a soup. This restaurant alone is responsible for at least 30% of America's high obesity rate. Unless you want to weigh over 300lbs people you reach 18, go somewhere else. I ordered pasta, not a soup with a side of pasta. Very little garlic.
I ordered for take out and I’m so upset. This fettuccine Alfredo has absolutely no freaking flavor!!!It just taste like wet noodles. Highly disappointed. Never going here again if you’re thinking about ordering this pasta please think again. Don’t even get me started on this so called salad. Not even a tomato in sight. Just iceberg lettuce.
