Came in today to pick up a few drinks as a little afternoon treat for my girlfriend and her coworkers. Unfortunately, I had a total spill situation in my trunk right after leaving, 100% on me. When I went back inside to let them know what happened, I was fully prepared to pay for everything again. Instead, the staff handled it with so much understanding and generosity. They remade the drinks for me and even handed me towels to help clean up the mess. That level of service genuinely stood out. It wasn’t just about replacing drinks, it was about how they treated me in an embarrassing moment. Really appreciate this team. I’ll definitely be back

Since this is the best boba shop close to where I live I have to say, it's a smart idea that the owners opened up their shop here. I would come here after school often and would get a boba. The boba is quite delicious and the shop is quite clean so I don't always have to worry about food poisoning. The workers are always quick with what they're doing and they do it in the nick of time before my bus comes and takes me home. The best part of all is that you can add extra bubbles into your drink by just paying an extra dollar. All boba drinks cost $6, but that's fine with me. I like it. I wished that they had a medium-size cup so that I can enjoy it a whole lot better. But honestly that's just fine with me.

The only issue I have is the fact that I ordered a chamango drink and it tasted like the mango went bad...but I didn’t go back to say anything because I had already gotten home. Now I know not to order that drink again.....

Weekday nights look slow inside the actual store, but I guess they do online pick-up orders so I would still anticipate a wait for your drinks. I got a tiger milk tea with almond milk, and it was pretty fricken sweet for "regular" sweetness. They ask you at the register how you want it, but I haven't had Tastea in awhile so I just went with their standard. The flavors of the drink are definitely black tea and whatever sugar they use. The tiger milk tea has this brown sugar syrup that's delicious but again, extremely sweet. With no add-ons, my drink was pretty plain but it hit the spot and kept me going for the night. The reason for my 4-stars is the lack of speediness. I waited more than 5 minutes and they were pretty well-staffed. Again, I blame it on the potential online orders that were ahead of me, but still. In terms of COVID compliance, this location is very good. They keep both their doors open, and everyone is wearing masks. I didn't really like the layout of the queue. The register is on one side, and the area between that and the pick-up station is very cramped and small. I ended up waiting in the more open area that bleeds into the other restaurant next door, so it was kind of awkward. I'll definitely go here again because they have a pretty neat mobile app that offers rewards.

Where instead the order should've just been rectified, as it was the servers mistake to begin with, and allow the customer to keep the drinks. Could've been something new for them to try, instead they went to straight waste.

Whenever I visit a new place I like to hunt for good food and good boba, this place did not disappoint, the Thai tea was great, so was the Tiger milk tea. And the strawberry smoothie with strawberry bits and aloe vera boba was delicious too, the sizes and prices are very reasonable. My reason for 3stars is a bit personal, a customer was handed the wrong order, and one of the servers realized they did this then followed the customer to their car, took the drinks from them only to throw the drinks into the trash. Where instead the order should've just been rectified, as it was the servers mistake to begin with, and allow the customer to keep the drinks. I am a fairly patient and understanding individual. I am fine with the longer wait when I can see that there is only one person on shift and they’re doing their best to multitask. But whoever that girl was on shift on 10/27/23 during the hours of opening towards 1pm, that was the most unprofessional display of work ethic if I’ve ever seen. And I’ve worked customer service jobs. Never, would I ever be on my personal phone having a conversation about personal events such as a dinner with mom, yelling, in front of customers, who have yet to be taken care of, a line forming behind them, looking directly at them while having the conversation. Whoever she is, needs proper retraining. I felt so bad for the other person on shift, because while they were scrambling to get orders out and make drinks , the employee on their phone was not being productive whatsoever. Not helping to make drinks, not getting orders for people.

At the end I wasn’t happy with my order and I will NEVER come back here again. If she was having a bad day don’t take it out on us. Especially not knowing it was our first time l. Horribly rude employees; Quite disgusted with my 1st experience here. Context: I drove all the way from Aliso Viejo after an incredibly long day of work. I was excited because this place was the only OC spot open late. I showed up at 11:50pm on Friday 6/15/24 and one guy and one woman both simultaneously came around from the counter and strted walking to the doors super fast after seeing me get out of my car in a hurry to get in there. They both began locking the doors immediately JUST so I couldn’t come in, even though I was technically there before closing time. Lazy. Rude. Offensive. They couldn’t even give me the basic human decency to apologize and tell me that they’re closing early tonight. Will not be returning to give them my business. What an absolute joke of customer service!

I usually frequent this Tastea, but the quality has been on the decline, especially the cleanliness of the location. The whole shop has an off putting smell to it. I had the last straw when I came in at 10:30pm, waited in the long line, placed an order and was ready to pay (with cash) only to be told that they are not accepting cash, only card. I was so dissatisfied... they should have at least put a sign at the door or the order window, as many businesses do this! But no, the girl had me order and only told me that they weren't accepting cash when she saw me pull out bills from my wallet. I had forgotten my debit card and unfortunately, I would not have made it back in time. I believe this is horrible customer service since MANY businesses post a sign or let you know before you order that they are only accepting cash. I won't come here again... sorry Tastea.
