There is plenty of parking on both sides of the restaurant. They have a restaurant style seating as well as bar area with many high top tables. 10 TV's to keep you entertained. Full menu with amazing dishes. Everything from steak to seafood. A great place to take the family, friends or dinner for 2. Enjoy!

On vacation at Poland Spring Resort. Looking for dinner and found a good rustic steakhouse in Auburn Maine called Mac's Grill. Started with coconut shrimp and garden salads. I had a Pepsi(love Maine everybody serves Pepsi ..lol). My lovely wife had a cucumber mint margarita. ( Verry good) For the "Maine" course I had 16 ounce sirloin medium rare. Wife had 8 ounce filet mignon also medium rare. Shrimp was awesome with a nice crunch ,came with dipping sauce( like blooming onion sauce). Steaks were right on. Couldn't finish and No room for desert. Bill was $93 w/o tip $120 after. Diamond in the ruff. Would like to try the ribs if and when I make it back!?!? Note: Service was Spectacular!( My Pepsi glass was never empty) Thank you!

Best bacon cheeseburger I've ever had! My boyfriend had the mac and cheese and said it was delicious as well. The waitress was amazing! Extremely friendly and attentive. The restroom was clean and had easy access. But if you're not careful you could end up in the way of the wait staff coming out of the kitchen with food. Otherwise, I highly recommend eating at this restaurant.

Great steak! Ihad the rib eye and wow!Fantastic cook, tenderness, and flavor! Nice steakhouse feel with amazing food. What else is there to say? Just go!

so these pictures are from multiple visits. I first visited when I was in the area and thought it was great but didnt get a chance to go back. now I got a chance to go back and try more food. the mini mac was cooked perfectly, the mashed potatoes were smooth and creamy yet also had a few lumps as all good mashed potatoes do, the macaroni and cheese was just gooey goodness. also, bacon maple scallops, do I really need to say more about that? havnt had a bad item yet

Met my granddaughter and her fiance for dinner before she has my great grandson this week and had a wonderful time. They took excellent care of us and the food was good. Very pleasant visit.

Food was amazing, portions were big and well worth the money. Prices were great. Service could not have been better, atmosphere is great. Highly recommend Mac's Grill

Mac's Grill is a great place where the locals go. I have been there most every time I'm in the area. The food is consistently very good and it's a great, fun atmosphere. The menu has a lot to offer for any taste and the staff are pleasant, friendly and provide great service.

Awesome food, decent prices, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended and will definitely be going back when I'm in the area.

This place never disappoints. I have had several different dishes here from their steak to the lasagna and everything is always been fantastic. Whether I have dined in or taken out the service has always been top notch. They have a great beer selection and I keep coming back. Highly recommended.

We have a couple of place we like in L/A. We’ve been to Macs before and always enjoyed. This past afternoon we stopped by again and it’s now our favorite. Great service, atmosphere and the food is fantastic. I love the burgers. Wife said the Mac and cheese with short ribs is great and no steak tips left over on the boys plate. It’s worth trying the onion rings as well.

What a find. We were in the area for a football game and wanted to have dinner with the family. We chose Macs based on reviews and we're not disappointed. The staff was great and the food was fantastic. I had the Mac and Cheese with sirloin. The steak was done perfectly and the Mac and Cheese was delicious. I highly recommend a stop here if you are in the Oxford/Auburn area.

My wife and I didn’t know what to get for dinner. We stopped in and heard about this famous steakhouse. We were so impressed with the food and service. We told all of our friends and family to see what was going on there. We are visiting from Florida and heard that the place is ridiculous when we went in we were immediately greeted and seated and found out our new favorite place in this area.

Service was fantastic, food was great. The only downside: our steaks were cooked well above our ask. Hard place to knock overall.

First time visitors, loved the food. We had rib eye and ribs. Service was great. Will come back when in the area!

Nice atmosphere, waitress very pleasant. Talkative. Large portions. My wife had awesome lasagna, I had ribeye cooked right and so tender. Beans delicious. Saw lots of locals.

Excellent experience! 1. The 10oz “Mini Mac” was cooked to perfection, very tasty, with a slight crisp on the outside and tender inside - melts in your mouth good. 2. The baked potato was cooked old school in aluminum foil, which makes this potato crisp on outside and extremely flavorful. 3. I also ordered sautéed onions and mushrooms, which were delicious with a slight taste of red wine and a little sweetness. 4. The broccoli salad tastes like cole slaw but with broccoli instead - yum! 5. Server was courteous, knowledgeable of the food, and service was excellent! The entire meal cost $30 + tip. I eat out a lot south of Auburn, and this steak meal is the best in Maine. It’s worth the 35 minute drive!!!

We were visiting the area and met up with some local friends here for lunch. Everything was excellent. We had steak and ribs, friends had steak and a specialty salad with salmon. Waiter was very attentive without being intrusive. Only minor thing was, in my opinion, the onion rings were a little too heavy on the batter, even though they were tasty and crispy. We come to this area a few times a year and will definitely come again for lunch or dinner.

Food was good, portions are the right size for the price. I got the Wyatt Earp and it was delicious. My only complaint is that I shouldn’t have to eat my sandwich with a fork. The bottom bun soaked up the juice from the sandwich and fell apart before my first bite. Don’t over load a burger bun. Other then that, it was a great experience.

Good beef. Good sides. Just be cautious on how you order your meat.

The potato skins & Scallops wrapped in bacon Apps were excellent, I had the Damn Good Meatloaf, The Meatloaf was good just a little to much Gravey on it. The mashed were ice cold & looked like a small ice cream scoop of potatoes. My wife got the Filet mignon with bacon Mac & Cheese, She ordered the Filet Med Rare to me it looked Rare "she loves it still Mooing" it was a little to red for her but she ate it & said it was good, she loved the Bacon Mac & Chesse, overall ot was Good & woukd definitely go back when we visit the Area again

Fun place to eat in Auburn. Waitress never returned my cash difference, but she may have been confused cause everyone else paid with CC with our large group of folks. So she got a bigger tip! Which is OK.

I ordered a steak sub , it taste fine but was extremely small . Meanwhile the fries covered half the plate and were very good. For the money I’d expect a larger sub roll and a lot more steak . Would have been just as happy getting a 6” from subway.

Food: amazing. The black & blue was delicious. The slight soggy bun made the sandwich. Maybe a brioche bun could be used instead as a suggestion. But delicious all the same. The crumble blue cheese!!! Mmm. Try the coconut shrimp. Service: great. Company I was with: absolutely amazing. Atmosphere: It was a little chilly but if that's the worst I'm okay with it. $20-30 per person if you each have a drink and your own meal. $10-20 person if you don't drink and share an app and plate

Tasty place to eat. Portions are generous, but staff are a little too laid bad. A little focus on the experience would move this place from very good to great!

This is one of my wife and I’s favorite spots. Love the wrangler steak and Macncheese. Nice atmosphere and nice wait staff. Can be busy.

Started with the hostess exhibiting attitude when I asked for a table close to the door, as opposed to across table across the restaurant since a person in my party has difficulty walking. French onion soup is excellent! Ordered a burger, medium. It came out and was raw in the middle. Didn't send it back because it took a long time to get it. Steak tips were adequate. First time here in a few years and not even close to what I remembered. Disappointing at best.

Didn't get anything. I have tried to take my spouse here on 4 different occasions now and can't get in. NO handicapped access - in pictures, yes, but in reality - no. Won't even attempt it again. Update: I spoke with the manager who said they would go out and take down the license plate numbers and ask who had the vehicles to move them so individuals with mobility or access limitations could be able to visit. 👍

We have eaten here maybe 4 or 5 time over the past 4 or 5 years. It was getting very busy, but no waiting line yet. The fish was good.

We stopped coming here several years ago because of repeated bad experiences. My wife was in the mood for a steak and since we were nearby, she wanted to give them a "last chance. Maybe they've changed". NOT. We both ordered the bacon wrapped filet mignon, medium well, based on their own cooking instructions. They were cooked medium rare (hot blood red center) so we sent them back. They returned as barely medium (still blood red). I was not about to send it back to the oven a 2nd time. After tasting it, I highly doubt it was a real filet mignon cut. It may have been a poorly cut filet, but lacked the tenderness and flavor that a true filet mignon offers. The waitress apologized and took half off the cost of the filet. So although they tried to make it right, they fell short and reinstalled my desire to avoid them in the future.

I would have given a 5 star but the last 2 times I ate at Mac's was a bit disappointing. I ordered my go to, The Wyatt, usually it melts in your mouth but the last 2X it was tough and fatty. Other than that, atmosphere, staff and drinks are great.

Will not visit this "restaurant" again. I ordered the Wyatt Earp, thinking the description sounded like a French Dip which I love. Arrived on a hamburger type bun pulled high with onion straws making it almost impossible to dip in the au jus. The sliced prime rib had been recooked to well done and tough (was not asked how I wanted it). Usually, French Dip is served in long sub type roll which is easier to handle. Waitress didn't bat an eye when I expressed my disappointment or offer to replace my meal. Better customer service training needed.

was super excited to try this place as i’m a steak lover and haven’t tried many places in the area.. but it was very disappointing. asked for medium steak for the kiddos, and both of them were so rare they were purple! i didn’t even think restaurants could serve steak so rare. also was super surprised to ask for extra alfredo sauce and be charged like six bucks for it. it is what it is, but definitely not a good experience. i felt bad sending the steak back and what not, but it also seemed our sever was almost annoyed with us for asking for things. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Probably a place best to stay away from. Ordered the whiskey burger, asked for medium-well and it was one of the most raw burgers I've ever seen. My girlfriend and I were on a tight schedule and had a 4 hour drive, so I simply ate the fries which weren't half bad and didn't have time to wait another 25 minutes for a new burger even though the place wasn't that busy. The waitress took ages to come back to the table and didn't ask about the food, even though I had dissected the burger and spread it across the plate to showcase the blood red meat. I simply paid and left, praying I wouldn't be sick later from the raw beef. If a grill can't cook a burger properly, I'd hate to think what else they aren't cooking correctly.

I got the steak tips asked for med well and they came in a small casserole dish about 6 peices with onions and mushrooms .1st the tips were not even grilled they cooked them in what tasted like water with onions and mushrooms, so then as I was eating the tips I noticed they prob were frozen because half way thru about the third or 4th peice they wete almost raw inside and the water/juice was just awful. I can't imagine a place called a grill that did not even grill there steak tips but cook in a casserole dish like you use for scallops or fish and cook it in the oven in what seemed like water or frozen water from tips, the tips were very tough and hard to chew so deff not marinated, but I was very disappointed they dint even grill the tips....the baked potato and salad was good ...so just be aware this grill don't grill there steak tips and were not too good ,I did not complain at the time because it was Christmas time and I ate most of it but won't go back . Also the steak tip meal was not cheap $25 dollars you are better off going to the 99 were they actually grill the steak tips.

We found the place to be mediocre at best. Tiny portions, no bread offered, no glass of water provided, meatloaf was overly-herbed with something (oregano) not at all tasty, baked potato was literally gray inside and smelled sour, inedible. Will not be returning.

I have nothing good to say about this place. My boyfriend asked for a Sam Adams, he got to Sam Adam's light. He did not ask for Sam Adam's light. Waitress then told him that once something is on the table it stays on the table as she brought him a beer that he wanted. We were then continually ignored until our appetizer arrived after people who arrived after us got their entree's. We were never asked if we wanted another drink. More than 30 minutes later our food arrived. I specifically asked for no green peppers on my taco salad and my taco salad was loaded with green peppers. I did not eat my taco salad, I asked for a to go box. Someone will eat it or my neighbor's pigs will get it. What a waste of $12. When we received the bill at the end of the meal we were charged for that. Sam Adams light. Maybe others will have a different experience than us, but we shall never visit this restaurant again. I await to hear from a manager, and hopefully it wasn't the bartender behind the bar that afternoon.

Mac's Gill $22 hockey puck steak Ordered medium well last time and got rare so I decided to try well done. Never thought I would get a Hockey puck!!! Ask for the manager and he pretty much laughed in my face. They did have a blurb on the menu about well done to cover their butt go figure. Ninety nine, Apple bees, long Horn, cracker barrel all have much better cooks and managers that care about the customer. You would think they would offer a new steak, cash off talk to the cook, or at least an apology! Nothing!!! Said we don"t do that and ran as fast as he could! just FYI Oh Mac's Grill is in Auburn Maine

Was gifted a Mac’s grill card, so I called and ordered under my gift card amount and when I go to pickup they added in a takeout fee which put me over and had to come out of pocket. Really? Wouldn’t recommend food was a 6 but looks like a great place to chat and hangout
