Can confirm that their breakfast tacos are great. Ordered 2 bacon, potato & cheese and 2 steak egg & cheese and they were LOADED with ingredients, and clearly freshly cooked & chopped bacon which is always appreciated. Be sure if ordering to go though to ask for salsa because it seems it doesn't come already in the bag because their red salsa is amazing; on the more runny side but has great flavor and juuust the right level of heat.

I heard about this restaurant from a good friend and I was driving through town so I figured I'd stop by and try it out. It was definitely worth the stop! The food was amazing and the service was excellent! Everyone was so kind and welcoming! I'll definitely stop by and visit again. Happy New Year's!!

The service was awesome our waiter was so nice and attentive. The food was really good too the picture really doesn’t do it justice. I’m really picky about my steak but it was delicious and the complimentary chips were warm & delicious

Service and atmosphere absolutely fit this restaurant so well. Very upbeat service and traditional Mexican atmosphere! It may have been the day(Tuesday) but any time I order tacos I expect lime and salsas included without asking. Tacos were good, not too salty, but unfortunately were a little dry. The barbacoa was spot on though! A great balance of flavor and texture, not too fatty and definitely not dry!

This is real. This is the real deal Mexican with enough Tex Mex to know that this is real Austin Mexican food. I had the lunch special of Sarita's Enchiladas and am so so loving them. They close after lunch, so make the time to get there and enjoy!

We have been wanting to try this place for a while. So glad we did!! Service and food was amazing. Great menu selection. Parking can be tricky depending on what time you go.

The menudo is on point, the barbacoa is delicious, the servers are friendly and it’s fairly priced. I knocked it down one star because the tortillas are not home made eeeek!

The original Vasquez restaurant is the best in food quality and service hands down !!!! Muy bien servicio!!!! Love the homie feel and the menudo always hot and awesome flavors with a lil extra oregano on the side . Chorizo wasn’t greasy at all tortilla nice n cooked well eggs mixed well with no shell 😂 burnet rd location take notes do better

There were 3 of us. We each got 1 taco, and shared a basket of chips/hot sauce ( had no idea they charged for chips/hot sauce and we each got a glass of tea, even though I asked for water. The total was $27.32 not even including a tip. That's absolutely insane!!!

Food is good but I bought 2 tacos chip and salsa for 16$. Prices are ridiculous at the end of the day. Not worth it. Owner will just argue with you and say it’s worth it online

I called the restaurant to ask until what time I could pick up some chilaquiles. The person who answered told me I could come until 4:00 PM. I called at 3:00 PM and even mentioned that I was coming from the south, but that I would be there by 4:00 PM. I asked if I could place the order at 3:40 so the chilaquiles wouldn’t get soggy, and she said yes.Since it was Sunday and most places close at 4:00 PM, I chose this restaurant because it was recommended to me. I called again at 3:50 PM to let them know I would arrive in about five minutes, but the person who answered said they never made my order because the cooks had left at 3:30 PM.If she had told me “we can’t take the order,” I would have called somewhere else. If they don’t actually stay open until 4:00 PM, they should update their hours on Google, or at least not take orders they can’t fulfill.
