Awsome food and fantastic owner
Amazing food, services and people. Always welcoming and ready to serve.
This place has the best chicharones in the area! Also great salsas, both red and green. Corn tortillas are a perfect compliment to any of their meals. Barbacoa is also pretty good but I'm a chicharone fanatic and this is my go to place to get my fix.
When we go to Beaumont Texas we plan our trip so we can eat there! One location shut down so we located it and went straight there. They had the same great food!
I love it here. Food is always amazing.
This little spot is so freaking bomb! Me and my family Definitely love eating here. Always fresh and always hot and always delicious. 😍
This place had amazing tacos and great lemonade. Little hard to order as they didn't fully understand English but they still got my order right.
I enjoyed myself with my family. Food was good. Asada fries was good.
This El Primos on Concord St. is by far cleaner, staff is nicer and the meat & food is all way more better than the College St. location.
I enjoyed this place. I've only eaten here one time and then the other time I brought some tacos for a friend to taste and they're amazing. The staff and the food I only tried tacos I get corn easily I mixed it up everything they're really really good if you like authentic Mexican food this is the place to go and very well financially price
My family came in for a quick bite. We ordered the carne asada plate, asada fries, and nachos. Everything was delicious. The person who took our food order was so sweet and polite. We will definitely be back.
This small restaurant might just be that, but those are the places where the food is great at. The girls that work there, were so polite and spoke to you like they've known you for a while. If you walk in and you don't see people eating there don't let that change your decision to eat the food. It's a really good place with great food. I got tripas tacos, carne asada tacos, and chicken tacos. The hot sauce is sooo good. Waiting for some menudo, and barbacoa tacos which are sold only on Saturday and Sunday's.
Great food, clean restaurant, great staff. This is my family’s favorite burrito spot. We have the option to have veggie only burritos. Vegetarian friendly
Great little taco place. I had the Al Pastor street tacos with beans and rice plate. The beans where good with extra meat and onion to mix into my rice. The taco's had the flavor I was looking for with good double wrapped flaky corn tortillas. For $9 this was great. Tuesday 2 for 1 beer! Loved this place:)!??
All around great experience! Customer service was a 10/10!! Thank you❣️
Little hole in the wall. Food was on point with the flavor!😋 Fast & Friendly service! Over all a great experience!
Barbacoa taco salad was legit. It had lettuce, tomato, rice, beans and cheese. Will definitely be back.

The best possible little Mexican joint you can find in beaumont. This is all authentic house-made food, great portion size and really good pricing. Its "stuff yourself miserable" good.
Stopped by here on the way home to Louisiana, was definitely worth it! The food was fresh, hot, and had great flavor.

Surprisingly good food. Outstanding tacos, Aqua Fresca was top notch. Good food at a great price.
The place is quaint. They have great aguas..... Jamaica, Pina, Limon....tacos were excellent.... Thursday thru Sun....tacos de pastor afuera....
Great authentic Mexican tacos. Probably some of the best tacos in this area. The restaurant is small and more of a mom and pop shop but it's worth it.
Do you like authentic Mexican food? Then this is your place! The street tacos are spectacular! Salsa verde es muy bien! Friendly staff, and a nice clean little restaurant.

I ordered the 20 tacos for 38.00 dollars that I thought was 29.00 dollars according to a post 26 days ago, My personal opinion is that it's worth 29.00 dollars not 38.00 dollars, couldn't get the smell off my hands like 6 hours later had to wash them about 8 times, lol, they are not bad but not good if that makes any sense.
I know small business hard to survive, but I have to let you know the meat quality very low, dryness beef like beef jerky. People won’t return simple reason.
Good option for late night eats. Definitely a better choice than some fast food spot. Service is minimal as you order at the counter.

Asked for crunchy corn tacos. Was told no. Tried 3 different proteins in the tacos. Flavorless.

I just happened to find this place. I was looking for breakfast tacos near me. I ordered the steak and egg tacos they were pretty good. So I came back the next day. Goggle said they open at 8 I pulled up at 8:01 they were not open so i wait for 10 mins they still didn’t open. I like consistency and opening your business at a certain time show’s consistency for me. So needless to say I will not be going back. I don’t see this place lasting long with all the complaints. It is a shame because the food was good and the green salsa was pretty good.
I used to love going to this place to get their beef nachos. That particular meal is so delicious. I recently went there to get the same nachos that were always 10.09. When the lady, cashier rang it up she told me it was over 13.00. I told her I had just come there not long ago and that wasn't the price. I showed her the transactions of my bank account where each time I had come it was always the same price. She said, "They must have raised the price." I pointed to the menu price. She said, "Oh, well these are old menus." I asked to see the owner. She said he had just left. I later remembered that same lady had charged me 1.00 more when I had gone one time before. I let it go because I had assumed they had raised the price at that time, and it was only a 1.00 more. I later went back again and the price was back to the regular price, and not 1.00 more. Every time that particular lady is running the register the price is always higher than any other time. She has caused me to lose trust in that place. I got the food that day because my daughter really wanted it, but I will not be going back. Lose my trust, lose my business. If any business raise their rates they need to have it posted somewhere, and correct their menus, but with the past experience of the price fluctuating only when she is there, I seriously doubt the price has been raised to that degree, if at all. This photo shows the price of the nachos.
Went in a while ago to try the Chicharron cup with guac. The total was about $20. I don’t like to question prices, but I did ask the girl was that right and she told me yes. Well apparently they’re only about $8 bucks. Manager told me I could come in for a refund, I asked if I could come the following week since I got COVID shortly after, but I never got a follow up. Guac was good, chicharrones were a little bland.

The cost is just way too high. Tiny Street tacos at almost 4 dollars a piece is absolutely outrageous and is a complete cash grab.
The food was pretty good. However the service was not. She took our order several different times and was not able to properly open her cash register and had to count her money multiple times. It was obvious she did not know. As we were leaving I asked about hot sauce and was told it was on the table. Three bowls of hot sauce sat on the table. We had to look on our own for the plastic cups and serve our own hot sauce. I find this unsanitary and unprofessional. The service does not match the quality of the food. We will not be trying this place again.

So weird. I just tried to go in to order because no one would answer the phone. The open signs are on but both of the doors are locked, cars are in the parking lot and people are inside. I called again and all the lady could say is that they were closed. When I asked her if they are ever open for lunch she would only say they were closed. I've only order from them through Waitr before.
Went to restaurant at 9pm and they stood in restaurant cooking and ignoring us while we repeatedly knocked on the locked door because they're sign says they close at 11pm.
Very rude customer service. No menus, no prices on any thing . Floor is dirty and sticky. Waiting for my food to see about taste......will post after I eat. Ok. Food was not that great. As I was eating someone brought their food back because it was not made right. These people need to learn english.
No prices or menus. Just outdated pictures on the wall in spanish. They have a very small selection of things you can order & over half of what is on the wall is not even available. You have to keep getting up to go get your food even if you tip so if you're generously tipping them thinking you'll get full service, you're wrong. The Spanish ladies in the back talk about you in spanish if you're white. I guess they assumed I was not fluent in spanish. Edit - I forgot to mention that after all this my food came out incorrect & cold. For one dinner of ground beef enchiladas with beans & rice, one dinner of chicken enchiladas with beans & rice, & one order of ground meat & cheese nachos we paid $50. Didnt know the price until the food was already being made so we had no choice but to hand over our credit card. No chips & salsa.
PLEASE READ!!! This is a NASTY place, from the miserable cooks attitude to the nasty food she produces in that roach infested kitchen she operates in. The health department needs to visit because roaches should not be visible around food that sits on a bar. PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE.
I gave this place so many chances because of convenience. This is the worst mexican restaurant in Beaumont. Flavorless, dried out, very poor costumer service. I ordered a chicken burrito over the phone and was told it would be ready in five minutes. I gave them 20 minutes. I walked through the door and they didn't even start making it. They was not even busy, too busy joking and laughing in the kitchen. The nonchalant attitude made it worst. If I can give a quarter star, that would be a more fitting rating.
Very frustrated. I came here on 2 separate days and both times this place was closed. I checked the hours online before going. I used to come here years ago (the one on College St) and the food and service was great! After wasting my time twice, I don’t think I will try to come back again. They need to update their hours online so they don’t waste anyone else’s time with an unnecessary trip across town.
I eat alot of Mexican food. This was the worst. The shrimp cocktail tasted old and spoiled. Took it back and tried the elote. I love elotes. This was the worst. We won't be going back. It's microwave Mexican food at best. Still hoping to find the place that has good elote. Next!
I guess they don’t understand that whether you’re black or white or Mexican customers are what keep the money coming in. They don’t know how to greet people they’re very rude and disrespectful. They make you feel very uncomfortable not to mention the food was not really good and it was flavorless
Want return no prices posted and the food had no seasoning or flavor . Cheapest cut of steak and queso was watered.
I love Mexican food but never again will I eat from there. I ended up with food poisoning and that was the only thing I ate that day hell nah they can’t pay me to eat there ever in life. Food poisoning ain’t no joke!!!
I had a DoorDash order there at around 10pm 01/29/2026 and the dasher took my order then canceled. I had another dasher go up there and they told her my order was already picked up and would even try to solve the problem at hand, they sent her off empty handed and I never got my food. I CALLED TACOS EL PRIMO and they just kept screaming into the phone they’re closed NOT EVEN GIVING ME THE CHANCE TO SPEAK, when they had 40 minutes left until closing.
Absolutely disgusting food!! All their tacos look like regular street tacos with no cheese. The red sauce that is supposed to be spicy is watered down and not even spicy. The Verda sauce is watery!! No flavor on food horrible disgusting.. I don't know what all the hype is about. But I checked this place out As I am a food critic and here's your review.. Don't waste your money!!
After seeing the news report about El Primo receiving an award, we were excited to try it. The El Primo 1 was not opened for lunch, so we thought we would try El Primo 2. Big mistake!!! Service was slow, food was flavorless, and my order was so late. Everyone else at the table was almost done with their meal. The queso was watery & flavorless. I couldn't eat my chimichanga. I opened it & got the chicken, beans & rice out, but it didn't taste right. I ended up getting so nauseous about 1.5hrs after leaving this establishment. NEVER GOING BACK!!!!
Did not have what I wanted after I paid, then refuses to give my money back and told me to learn Spanish.
The place smells really bad and everything there seems dirty. I stayed because it was raining and I was already hungry. I ordered a plate with rice and beans and the rice was slimy, the beans were spoiled, and both were bad.
The food was terrible that's all I have to say
