John has created something truly special with his family owned pizzeria. This is some of the best pizza I’ve ever eaten in my life, and I’ve been eating pizza my whole life! You know what I mean? WOW!! Just amazing! Plus he’s got a state of the art bar with over 25 TVs, over 50 beer options, surround sound, front and back deck spots. Number one spot in town for a good time and good food.

Incredible Experience at Johnny Joe’s Pizza! From the moment we arrived, Johnny Joe’s made us feel like VIPs. We got there a few minutes before opening, but the manager, Ricky, greeted us warmly at the door and invited us in to get settled. His kindness set the tone for the entire visit—what a great start! Now, let’s talk about the pizza: WOW. Hands down, this was the best pizza I’ve had in ages! The crust was absolute perfection—crispy on the outside, soft and airy inside. It was so good that my aunt tried to convince them to sell her a loaf of their dough to take home! (We’re still laughing about it.) The atmosphere was nice and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy great food. Every bite was a treat, and we couldn’t get enough of it. If you’re looking for amazing pizza! Johnny Joe’s is a must-visit. Ricky and his team truly made our experience special. We’ll definitely be back—and we can’t recommend it enough!

Best pizza in Lees Summit. We like to get it while enjoying some drinks at The International Tap House, it's right next door. But we've also gotten delivery for Sunday football. It's always just excellent pizza and it's great next day too! Cold or reheated.

Finally, I got a full pie from this location. The service was prompt for as packed as it was. The pizza is delicious and exactly how I like it. The cannoli is hands down the best I have ever had!

True artisan pizza. Johnny Jo's has been around for years but just recently opened in Lee's Summit. I've been enjoying their pizza before they had the original store front right off the plaza. This sauce is so unique and exceptional it will have you craving more. This pizza is so worth the price.

Definitely is good for a quick slice. They weren't open yet, but they still opened for me. Because they probably thought I was in the mob collecting for protection. I Got a slice of pizza and I was on my marry way. Definitely has good under carriage, not much flop. IDK why that matters with Pizza But Dave Portnoy loves that for some reason. Definitely a neat spot for a quick bite to eat. Although the slice was $5, could be slightly cheaper. It is a New York slice after all, could be $2.50 or maybe $3 to make more money. Oh, definitely a decent place. Thanks again for opening up so I can get a quick lunch. The person working was super nice and very informative.

Came here and ordered a 10” & 14” pizza. Crust was crunchy & sauce was savory. You can get just a slice which is nice. Service was good. Order at the kiosk & pizza was made promptly. Lady making the pies made sure we n ew that. Bartender was helpful (you order drinks separately from your pizza). My only issue…the toppings (which tasted good) were thin. Needed to put more on to make the pizza 5 stars. All in all…had a good time. It was trivia night!

We were in Lee's Summit and decided to try this place for dinner. We walked in and were not greeted. We figured out you ordered via a computer. We ordered and realized we did not order drinks. We checked the computer and saw only bottled water. We walked around and realized there was a bar around the corner. I tried to order a Dr. Pepper, but they only had coke and sprite in a can. We decided we'd be OK. We played a game while we waited. The food arrived, and it was good. I wasn't disappointed nor impressed. I doubt I'll return. I live in Independence, and it's not worth the drive. The place seemed more like a bar than a pizza place. I don't drink. If that's your kind of place, then maybe you would enjoy it. There was a pool table and other games. It was a nice place but confusing and not much to choose from non alcoholic. No iced tea or lemonade, I'd assume possibly, but I only asked for Dr. Pepper. Pizza was decent, but nothing special.

This is my favorite pizza in town, however half of the time I order one of the pizzas made at the Lee’s Summit location they are very obviously not fresh. Wilted brown basil and overcooked mozzarella. Left over from the lunch shift. When you pay for an 18’ pie I expect it to be freshly made and sometimes it is and when it’s fresh it’s amazing but like I said it’s hit and miss 50% of my orders.

We were passionate fans of the West Plaza location when we lived in the city. This was our 3rd time with the new location and the inexperience with the new crew making pizzas has shown every time. This time the pizza was uneven with it being thin towards the crust and thick in the center, and the center cuts were all off leaving small slices and really big slices. Please get these crews some proper training or quality control so it can be that wonderful Johnny Jo’s standard because LS needs to know the real deal.

Definitely not New York Style pizza and not the best. Ordered to eat in, 2 personal pizzas and the cheese bread. Pizzas were not even hot, bread was not hot either and had a funny taste. No soft drinks served - had to go next door to bar if you wanted one. Did provide free bottles of water. Would not go back again.

First time ordering pizza from here. Ordered with extra cheese but it sure didn't look like it had a lot of cheese on it. Pizza was really gross. Very dry. Tones or marinara and hardly any cheese. No one in my family liked it. Threw half of it away.

Ordered online at 7:13 on a Monday from the Lee summit location which said it was open and let me order but nothing happened with the ordered, no one was answering the phone and when we got there at 8:40 it was closed. Try somewhere else

Pizza was chewy, doughy, sparse toppings, red sauce, I'm not sure there was any. Could make another small pizza from the outer crust which was a third of each slice, very little flavor. The staff was great and fast, no complaints with the staff. Won't be eating here anymore.
