We have dined here a few times and enjoy it so much we had Tasty Venues cater our dinner party for about 30 people. Working with Chef Cinzia was such a pleasure as she helped us design the perfect meal. Quality of the dishes were amazing, pricing and portions were perfect. Our guests raved about all of the dishes. We have been to Italy a couple times and if you want real homemade authentic cooking this is perfection. If you want to host a small or large event and be the talk of the town call Tasty Venues. 👩‍🍳🇮🇹🥖

Just finished the most wonderful and authentic Italian dinner in the Brandon riverview area. The chef is so kind, and the menu is vibrant and lives up to the name. Having visited Italy, this is the closest thing I’ve found to fresh and flavorful Italian food. The pasta was cooked perfectly. The Profiteroles were sweet and a perfect end to a rich and filling dinner. The culture flows through this Italian beauty. Definitely top 3 in the area. The service is impeccable, and you can tell they are a family. Kaelieen and cinza made our night

Authentic Italian that is delicious. I ordered the Pasta Bolognese. The Ischia was very tasty. The mix of vegetables and chicken in the Ischia was wonderful.

Their food is fresh and really good! Thank you to the owner for making authentic Italian food available to Tampa Bay area residents! Can’t wait to try your cheese plate and wine pairing! Oh and service is top notch too!

By far the best service and food out here in Brandon. The environment is amazing ❤️ Overall 5 stars. Would rate higher if I could. I went here with my boyfriend and got the Drunken Pasta… it was perfectly cooked Al Dente. Very authentic ❤️

We moved to Florida in 2019 and this hands down the best food we’ve had since being here. If you’re in Brandon, Tasty Venues is a must.

Little treasure hidden in strip mall, real Italian food, not skimpy on portions or flavor, quaint atmosphere, attentive staff. Thoroughly enjoyed a dinner reservation there, and no little kids. Perfect place for a mother's day dinner, I'll be back : )

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Wonderful Italian Bistro - everything cooked fresh daily by the amazing Cinzia - who always has gluten friendly cookies when she knows I am coming!! The gift shop and wine selection are wonderful if you are looking for a special gift for yourself or a friend.

Had a fabulous lunch with my daughter here last week. With vegan and vegetarian options in addition to a full, traditional menu, it's a place where we know we're getting fresh, authentic Italian cuisine prepared by an artistic, innovative chef. Chef Cinzia can truly can do it all! From catering a holiday meal to special events, and now with the addition of their new Sunday Dinners (11am-3pm every Sunday), this cafe is a treasure. The gift shop has now transitioned to mostly gourmet foods and wine, and they have a wonderful assortment of imported and local treats. Everything is unique and not something you find every day. They have perfect, unique, culinary gifts for hard-to-buy-for friends. Chef Cinzia also hosts culinary tours of Sicily, Tuscany, and the Amalfi Coast a couple of times a year. I highly recommend you go see them for lunch or dinner and ask about the tours. You won't be disappointed!

Cynthia Hawes: my first time here. I enjoyed the atmosphere, the meal was like being in Little Italy in Boston, excellent food. The wine was smooth & pleasant to my pallet. It was very pleasant to relax to soft music & eat real Italian food. I'll be returning.

We had dinner last Saturday and we truly enjoyed it. Loved that we could try the wine before we ordered it. The food was delicious. Very friendly staff. Just a delightful dinning experience. We will be back.

I don't even know where to start...my Uncle said oh my God , I'm in Brooklyn! He's telling everybody they have to come over to eat here! The food was so fresh ( eggplant Parmesan), and absolutely amazing! That San marzano tomato sauce was on point! Can't wait to come back.. this was the coolest store/ bistro we've ever been to! Awesome chef & staff!

This was one of the most amazing meals you will experience in the Tampa area. Everything is made with care and it literally feels like you are eating a homemade meal from your Italian Nona. Run...don't walk to this gem in Brandon.

Instead of writing a lengthy description of my first experience at Tasty Venues, I will simply say this - holy cow! It is so nice to be pleasantly surprised and to have expectations exceeded. Run, do not walk, to this precious gemstone nestled among the lumps of limestone along Highway 60.

Most incredible Italian meal I ever had. Everything from appetizers, main dish to dessert was fresh and delicious. I would give it 10 stars but it won’t allow it.

We love Tasty Venues! Every dish is lovingly made to order by Chef Cinzia herself! There are delicious options for all Italian food preferences, suggested wine pairings, incredible, homemade desserts, and a variety of appetizers and soups. The service is outstanding -attentive, personal, and helpful. The ambiance is lovely with a cozy dining area, soft background music, and cafe lighting. Tasty Venues is a true dining experience and how meals are meant to be enjoyed - no rushing, savoring flavors, enjoying your company!

This place was absolutely amazing! I’m a south Tampa girly and I’ve ate at Olivia’s, Donatellos, Bella’s, Maggianos; you name it. I’ve even been to Rome, Italy! But this place was such a true gem! The chef cooks with her heart and the red sauce was magnifico! The customer service was so sweet and kind. No one rushed you and everything was super personable. Definitely will be back!

Authentic Italian Food in Valrico We’re new to Valrico and had been driving to Gulfport every time we craved good Italian food. That all changed when we found this hidden gem. I booked a table months ago after reading the reviews and finally visited in July. It was absolutely worth the wait. From the moment we walked in, it felt like we were guests in someone’s home. Mark, our waiter and the chef’s husband, was kind, funny, and made the experience even more special. We chose the chef’s “Blind Date” tasting menu. Every course was a surprise and every bite was incredible. We started with fresh tomatoes, tomato compote, mozzarella, pasta, olive oil, and bread. That was followed by homemade pasta with pancetta, then a tender roasted pork dish with mushrooms and pearl pasta. Two desserts and a bottle of wine rounded out the night perfectly. The chef came by a few times to check on us and made us laugh when she said, “If you loved the food, I’m the chef. If not, I’m the dishwasher.” This was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had since moving. It reminded me of meals I’ve had in Tuscany where you feel like family, not just a customer. We will definitely be back.

This was our first visit, and it won’t be our last! I can’t believe this restaurant has been right up the road, and we never knew how amazing it is! The food was spectacular! The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The chef was engaging and made visits to every table. This is a real gem with wonderful authentic Italian food. My husband had a pork Marsala that was incredible. I had a sampling plate that included Spezzatino Agrodolce — the most amazing beef dish! That was after the soup trio and fresh made breads. The atmosphere is quaint and a bit eclectic, which adds to the charm of this unassuming restaurant. Don’t be fooled by the shopping center locale. This place is the best Italian food in the area. The best part is she has a seasonal menu and focuses on reducing food waste, so for a real experience let her choose your menu. You won’t regret it! There is a lovely selection of desserts, wine, coffees, and pastries, and she has a store with Italian goods and other delights. If you live in the Brandon, Valrico, Seffner, or Bloomingdale area, I highly recommend you have a meal at Tasty Venues. You won’t be sorry!

When you walk in Cinzia(owner and chef) greets you like family. The atmosphere and aromas take you to Italy. The food is fantastic and the chefs take their time to create dishes that are exquisite and mouthwatering. The desserts, well you have to try! They also have art, and gift shop with some many items for every occasion and special person. A small local with a big taste! Thank you for coming to Brandon.

My husband and I hosted a private birthday party at Tasty Venues. It was absolutely perfect and a huge hit with our guest. The food was superb, portions generous, and service super friendly and accommodating. Chef Cinzia and her staff took care of every detail.

What a unique place. Food is excellent, especially the pasta, but don't come in expecting pizza and spaghetti & meatballs because there is literally a sign on the door that tells you they do NOT serve this type of "Italian American" food, nor do they allow children under 10. If you want an authentic delicious date night, this place is for you. If you expect breadsticks with your dinner, you might actually get thrown out. It is on the pricey side, but portions are quite large, so it's a decent value

Wonderful experience! This was our first time there, which came highly recommended by a friend. Everything is made from scratch. We had the appetizer Marsicano, delish! My husband chose a chicken dish. I couldn't decide on one dish, since all of them appealed to me. I chose L'assaggio which was the chef's selection of 3 different items. There was a soup, ravioli and a beef dish. I shared the ravioli and beef, I would not have been able to eat all of it alone and still have room for dessert. He had a lemon tart pie slice with bourbon marinated cherries. The cherries had a smooth taste. I had a different pie of almond cream. The crust was also very good and buttery tasting! We will return again!

The food was delicious. From the appetizers to the desserts. The wine recommendation was excellent. Fresh ingredients and the pasta was done perfectly. My friends and I enjoyed our dinner without feeling rushed. I recommend reservations since the restaurant has limited seating. We will return.

I can’t wait to go back. My wife and I went for the first time tonight and it was fantastic. While the service was great and very attentive the best part of the night was the meal. If you enjoy spaghetti bolognese, excellent bread and some very good Italian wine this is your spot. Next on the list has to be eggplant parmigiana or the seafood pasta. It’s quaint and a perfect for a date night. The ambiance is charming and the music choice perfect.

Yet another amazing meal and experience. So full after the bread plate and mussels/clams that I could have just stopped there. We opted for a pasta and an entree too. Both very well executed. Romantic atmosphere (think date night) and excellent service. I encourage others to give it a try!

My family and I were very excited to try out this restaurant. Thank goodness I decided to read the reviews the day of our reservation because I saw that they don’t allow children under 10 years old. I called to confirm and they said because of ONE bad experience they decided to implement this rule. What a ridiculous policy for a restaurant located in the suburbs where FAMILIES live.
