As a Nepali this place is very authentic and delicious. They have the true flavors of Nepal and maintain the friendly, welcoming nature of the Nepali people. The chicken momo and lamb curry were hot and flavorful. The momo was extremely juicy and obviously made fresh.
First time here. There’s parking which is nice. Service was great, Very sweet. Good size portions and everything was spot on for flavor. I would recommend just an order of rice and naan rather than adding the $7.95 “deluxe” meal. I would return.
We loved it!! We got the fried momos, chowmein and chicken chilli. It was absolutely delicious. Will definitely come back for more.
I had been missing momo dumplings after being in Nepal earlier this year so we came to check out Everest Curry. The momo's were delicious and very authentic. Definitely on par with the best momos we had in Kathmandu. Welcoming atmosphere and lovely, friendly service.
Love the food and very friendly staff and love the spices and on point on the spicy cant wait to come back again.
The food and ambience were perfect here with a lot of space between tables. I ordered the momos and chow mein. Both dishes were very tasty and the presentation was enticing. What an enjoyable experience! The service was top notch. Very attentive. I can't wait to come back here again! They even have easy free parking spot sharing with another restaurant •
Authentic food, amazing service, clean, and inviting. Everything one can ask from a great restaurant. They have an amazing hospitality and I truly believe they are there to serve the taste of Nepal and India. Try their jhol Momo and Tandoori platters while you are there.
Amazing place with incredible food and service. Must stop by here for amazing and authentic eats if you are in town. Great portions and best value in Sacramento 🙏🪷🔥 Best Tikka Masala I’ve ever had!
Great new find and just around the block! They just opened back up under new ownership and I hope Everest Curry Is here to stay. The entire restaurant has been remodeled and the facade is bright and inviting and the dining room is comfortable and clean. The food was excellent. I ordered the Nepalese samoas, fish kadhai, and a mango lassi for desert. The service was excellent too. Anil was attentive and kind.
Went here on a Friday night. Great place and great ambience. Definitely recommend coming here for a date night. Sidenote, the waiter/owner was really nice! Apparently they have lunch buffets too.
Incredible food. Everything was high quality and tasted delicious. We had Nepali samosas (similar to Indian samosa but small empanada shape and deep fried). Great tamarind chutney. Steamed vegetarian momos were perfect, full of veggies and creamy, spicy sauce. Mughlai saag with goat cheese was outstanding, spicy as requested. Even the jeera rice was well-seasoned and perfectly fluffy. Best South Asian food in all of Sacramento for me. Good beers (Barahsinghe!) plus a polite and attentive waitress as well. Fantastic meal. I'll definitely be back + also plan to order from here from now on.
Best Nepalese and Indian food I’ve ever had. The dumplings are out of this world and the special lamb dish was one of kind!
Best momo I’ve had in long time also their curry was excellent. We are Nepalese and they offered us the most authentic taste. Owners are young entrepreneurs thriving in the area. Must support and visit

The single best Indian restaurant I've had to pleasure of being to in Sacramento. I've tried Bombay Bar and Grill, Darbar Halal as well as a littany of other buffet and takeaway options. Everst Curry blew me away, from the everest appetizer to the momos, naan and curry! Above all else, they have the best mango lassi I've had since moving to this town. Other places are either too watery or tart, Everest's was perfect - bar none. The restaurant itself is quite nice, ample seating with soothe ambient lighting and background music. They have a daily lunch buffet between 11-2:30pm, best believe I will be going back! The designated parking lot they share with Kyoto also makes it very convenient. I don't know how often non-guests get towed but it's nice to know there's parking available. It may not look like much on the outside but I promise you this is a place you won't regret dining out. We went to dinner as a couple, ordered our meal AND extra dishes to take home. The whole thing came up to 105$. For us, that's basically 17.5$ per person per meal. Didn't catch her name but our hostess/server was very sweet!
An Indian cuisine restaurant for sure, Felt fancy and cultural with the layout, was pretty empty. Food was what you would expect from an Indian restaurant, very accommodating.

So good, will not disappoint. Lamb curry 9.7/10 amazing

Today was my first time trying food here..it was absolutely delicious. I got butter chicken, chicken korma, biryani, keema naan and raita. The spiciness and flavors were spot on. I did takeout and portion was great..the curries were brimming over the top and so satisfying. My daughter's who picked up food loved the ambience of the restaurant so next time we will definitely go and enjoy our meal there.
We went out for dinner with my friend. Food is absolutely amazing. Chicken chowmein and chilli momos were out of this world. Should definitely give them a try.
Was headed home north and stopped by this spot when the Indian food cravings hit. We were greeted and served by Bipina (BEE-PIN-UH) who was so sweet and present with us. She remembered our entire order (Chicken Tikka Masala, Bhindi Masala, Garlic-Basil Naan, Saag Chana, Fish & Veggie Pakora, Mango Lassi! It was absolutely delicious, every bite very rich and filled with flavor! For sure 10/10 atmosphere, food, and portions. Thanks so much, we will be back!
Aloo baingan was phenomenal! A really nice smoky and rich flavor. Everything else we tried was great as well, highly recommend :)

Excellent food, prepared and served with kindness and love. An all around excellent dining experience!!! Extensive menu with lots of vegan or meat offerings. Best Himalayan food I've ever had.

I’d pretty much given up on finding good Indian food in Sacramento—most places are bland and forgettable. We stumbled on this spot by chance, and it was a total surprise. Ordered takeout (ready right on time, perfectly packed), and every dish was bursting with flavor. The tikka, butter chicken, and palak paneer—the usual “white people classics”—were all outstanding. Spicy not as in hot, but layered with real spice and depth. Easily the best Indian food we’ve had in town.
Everything was great. We got the medium option for spiciness and that was just right. Not too hot. Very nice staff. The tiki masala and garlic naan were excellent. Good portions for the price. We will be back. There is a lunch buffet we would like to try. The service seemed a little slow, considering there was only one other group of customers. I think it would help if they spruced up the front patio to be more welcoming. We weren’t sure it was open.
Went in for our anniversary dinner and found the place to be opened about 7 months back. We tried samosa chat, mango lassi, veg chowmein, roti with aloo sag, chana batura etc. We found the food preparation to be not like regular Indian restaurant and seem more aligned with Nepali cuisine. Unfortunately we did not like any dishes as the taste was totally different. Same time, the ambience, cleanliness, service were all excellent.

This used to be my go-to spot when I was craving bomb lamb vindaloo. I can do without their unflavored and stale "garlic naan," which has been consistently stale when I've ordered it TO GO. This review is really a PSA. Customers beware, if YOU are picking up food to go, MAKE SURE THEY ARE NOT ADDING TIPS on top of what you've already tipped (tipping is NOT necessary when you get food to go-) which is what happened to me the last time I was there. Are you paying for the gas I use to drive to support your establishment? Why are you tipping yourself on my behalf? 😐

🤔🤔🤔I ordered a 7 butter chapati for about $37 around 6 or 7 in the evening. During my visit, I noticed that the staff seemed unusually worried. It's fascinating how some people assume that all Indians work as delivery drivers, like Doordashers. I was seated at the front table near the register but after waiting for a while, the staff asked me to move to a table at the entrance. I didn't feel this was necessary, especially since the place wasn’t busy, and it left me feeling somewhat insulted.
