This was my first time in the Brooklyn area and the Gowanus Gardens was a great little nook to visit. Lee was a spectacular bartender who was personable, funny, and her playlist was amazing! Always great to have music that you love and know playing in the background. Between her bartending, music, and the March Madness games I could stay there all night!

I had the most amazing time with friends from out of town, playing trivia and having cocktail/bar foods! Great selection and reasonable prices. Plus, look at this space!? It's absolutely beautiful. We were treated so well by all of the staff, and for a place, I would call a dive bar, the bathrooms were nice too! Definitely check this place out if you are looking for a great space for a group.

This burger was BOMB! I literally thought this was a small dish but I was full and everything tasted amazing! What I ordered is GG Burger with fries and a drink (frozen margaritas) My friend ordered Garden burger which was also great. She also ordered mojito (big thumbs up) The purple haze drink was a bit strong for us (but tasty) Also the waitress we had was so friendly and the fact we are deaf she made things easy for us. I will definitely come back again!

Pork buns are delicious. Service was wonderful. Kelly was personable and took really good care of us. Gary pours a mean drink, too. We brought friends visiting from Florida, and they told us they loved the atmosphere and their grilled cheese sandwiches. Can't wait to come back.

Wow. Great liquor and beer selection, lots of space in the bar and backyard for lots of friends. The inside and outside both have a nice aesthetic, and the staff is super kind and professional. Jukebox is really well curated and a pleasure to browse. The food is SO good and much better than your average bar. Very accessibly priced food & drink in a great space. This is definitely my new hangout.

I came here late on a Friday night and their kitchen was still open. I was able to sit at the bar and get a hamburger. The place is nice. I found the food to be decent, with crispy fries and an adequate burger. They have a number of cocktails and an average set of beers on tap, with nothing out of the ordinary. Overall a nice place near the subway.

We go for trivia night on Mondays. Cold in the back garden but they have heaters on. The waiters tend to be slammed that night every time we go - so it’s hard to order a second round of drinks. Not sure why they don’t have an extra person on that shift.

Nice bar. Quiet enough for conversation at least on a weekday. Didn't have food sp can't judge that. Back garden is somewhat heated in the winter.

The food is great but the cocktails are killer. Lots of unique drinks and they switch the menu up regularly. The pepperoni bites go CRAZY, like a bacon wrapped jalapeno popper, but even better! Never seen that offered on a menu before. Also a really solid chicken sandwich.

A fun local bar with decent food. They have a large drinks selection for both beers and cocktails. The pepperoncini bites were interesting, the chicken wings were crispy, and the quesadilla had fresh jalapenos inside, which elevated it. The service was friendly and attentive.

It’s a really cosy bar . We saw special $10 beer and a shot, so we asked for pickle backs… unfortunately they didn’t have pickle juice . Whiskey was bad, beer was so light . We order chicken wings - it’s was $14 for a good portion, they was good. The bar has garden and outside sitting. Was cute and nice music . They have some food items that are gluten free if you interested 😉

Cute, intimate little bar. Good drink selection, and the wings were chunky and flavorful. They were pricey for the amount compared to other spots ($14). The service was very pleasant and helpful tho. Edit: Apparently the friend I went with said his chicken sandwich was the worst he's had in awhile, and it was mainly because the chicken tasted bad.
