Just waiting for this pizza shop to show up on a food blog/ video/ eater/ thrillist/ infatuation etc Get a grandma slice, it's phenomenal. Literally the crust is focaccia. it's beautiful. At least when you get a grandma slice they offer basil/ grated Parm/ honey which is incredible. It's in a great neighborhood! this place rules!
Great pizza. Very kind, decent people. While I was waiting for my order, I could see that everyone who walked in was treated with dignity and respect. My food was excellent. Eat here.
My family and I arrived in New York a week ago. The very first place we got to eat was Union Street Pizza. Place was very clean. The staff was more than accommodating they were very friendly and give us great ideas and things to go do around the Brooklyn area in addition how to get around Manhattan Island. Their pizza was awesome. after dinner we stopped in and got a snack because it was that good. Plus the place was not overcrowded but there was always a crowd because it was a nice place. definitely recommend this place.
Union Street Pizza gave me the experience with food I craved and more! From the genuine sauces to the authentic and creative decor, Union street is hands down the business to invest your tastebuds into 💫 I was greeted by the owner,Steven, and given a tour of the menu. All I can say is, my name is Snow ❄️ and I verify this message. “Union Street Pizza is the spot for the genuine nyc creative to unwind and get fed by someone who has respect for food” If you’re lucky enough, you will get your pizza branded 🥶 Great day readers ❄️ Happy munching 🌻
Stopped by on my way to the train. Visiting from NC. Owner provided excellent service. The pizza was amazing. Highly recommend!
This place has really nice classic thin crust pizza, and some great square slices too like pepperoni, and meatball. Always offer free hot honey, parmesan, and basil as topping.. super nice guys here.
The creators of Bowl & Blade have done it again, this time with pizza. Incredibly fresh ingredients and delicious pizza. The hot honey pepperoni is a must-try. Get off the R and get yourself a slice of some of Brooklyn’s best 🍕.
Great pizza, amazing service!
You can tell this pizza is made with top notch ingredients. I’ve had about 40 pizzas in the past month in New York and this ranks in my top 5. On top of that, honestly some of the best wings I’ve had in the whole city. Will be back without a doubt and I highly recommend!
Great slices. Really flavorful sauce. There's cecilian slices are actual facacha bread. Worth the price of $5.oo a slice.
Great neighborhood spot, super nice staff
Just got into Brooklyn less than an hour ago. Super hungry and wanting something tasty and quick. Options for "by the slice" rocked and the owner was great
This is by far the best pizza i ever tasted in New York! And the owner is such a gentleman. Amazing experience there
Best pizza in the neighborhood 🤌🏼 go see for yourself definitely the best.
Small place, but pizza was delicious. My kids didn't stop talking about how good the pizza was. Thanks.
Always love the great pizza and great people working at this little local spot. Hot honey on the pizza is a must from here!
Best Pizza in New York! The pepperoni pizza with hot honey is insanely good! I was in the city for 5 days and probably went there 6 times.
Great lunch special and the pizza is delicious
The spicy supreme was really good!
Visiting from out of town and I can’t say enough good things about Union Street Pizza. So friendly and inviting. We will be visiting many more times before we leave.
I've been waiting for this place to open. I got the Spicy Supreme Pie (8 big slices) $28, but you can buy by the slice ($3, $4, $5) depending on the topping type. This place immediately distinguishes itself from the average Brooklyn pizza joint. The dough is top quality and the ingredients from pepperoni to jalapenos is def the best. Even reheated in my toaster oven these slices are good. Not heavy on the stomach but very satisfying. Enjoy!
Great spot to have awesome pizza for reasonable price. Employees are really kind and I can just recommend this place. :)
Amazing staff and incredible vibes!!! They are so nice and helpful!! Pizza hecking rocks! Every time I go to NYC I go to union street pizza!
This has quickly become my favorite pizzeria in the area. I have no idea how their slices can be so delicious. The delivery is super fast too and the employees are so friendly and accommodating over the phone. (Just wish garlic knots were an option when ordering online).
Friendly staff, good prices, always a crispy crust. Make sure to get the hot honey on the pepperoni slice.
Vegan pizza was great. Vlad was so friendly and gave me a lovely IPA from down the road. Steve’s lemon sauce was also surprisingly great on pizza!? Fab first stop in the city :)
Super kind, accommodating and the food was absolutely delish and affordable.
Place is real nice, reminds of old brooklyn style. Worked in multiple pizza spots in brooklyn as a teenager, Luigi’s, trio, Napoli just to name a few and this place I highly recommend, very under the radar
Love the friendly chic place , This place is a gem! The pizza was delicious—perfectly crispy crust, generous toppings, and just the right amount of cheese. The staff was super friendly . The vibe is cozy and relaxed, . Can’t wait to come back for another slice (or two)!
Lifechangingly good pizza. I’m from out of the area and I got an amazing saucy Sicilian slice that tasted so fresh
The food was really amazing. The pizza is fresh and tasty. Employees are really friendly and the spot for having pizza is really good because it’s only like one meter from R subway so it’s perfect. I would totally recommend it for everyone who likes great pizza.
Very friendly people serving fantastic pizza! Gave us free grandma slices while we waited. Made our day 🙂
CALZONE CALZONE CALZONE. If you're looking for a good calzone, like I have been for a while now, this is the place. NOT greasy, not fried like Brookly/ny seems to do. Not many choices for filing besides the Ricotta and Mozzarella, so bring your own eggplant, mushrooms, etc. They will put meat in but I chose not too. Also extra for the dipping marinara but they were generous. This is a 'per slice' place so don't expect knifes and forks and only a few seats. So worth it to me.
Vlad and Quay WERE AMAZING!!! We called yesterday to make sure they could take us and Vlad said YES! We showed up with a party of over 30 people and ordered in advanced! Pies were ready when we got there. They tasted so GREAT! THANK YOU VLAD AND QUAY!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Loved this pizza shop. It was right around the corner from the hotel my friend and I were staying at, and nearly every night for lunch or dinner I stopped to grab a slice. The pizza was great, and one slice was definitely enough to fill you up. They had so many options but my favorite was definitely the pepperoni hot honey pizza. The staff was also super sweet, greeting me every time I came in and asked how my trip was going. Highly recommend them if you’re in the area. Very affordable as well and you get a ton of food for a small price.
It's a small pizza place with great big city, friendly vibes! Just discovered it a month ago and this is my 5th visit. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to get pizza. I will def be back again to my new favorite neighborhood pizza place.
Wow ! Pizzas are just so tasty ! Got 3 different pizzas and they were all delicious. Special thx to Euclid who has been so nice to me and others clients, and definitely been a good advice for helping me on my pizza choice. Would definitely recommend this place.
Best thin crust in New York City!
The pizza was amazing. I came in when they had just opened at 11:30 and got a margarita slice. The pizzas are also freshly made (I happened to come in when they had just finished making their margarita pizza)! The crust was soft not like the usual $4.50 pizza I get with burnt and crunchy crusts. The sauce was also a very nice level of sweetness. The people there were also very nice!
I’m familiar with Union Street pizza because it’s my go to pizza place when I am at work. Always consistently good. I treated my staff this week to 10 pies. I called at about 11:20 AM to order. Aside from a standard pie and a pepperoni pie I gave them free reign to create whatever for the remainders, to mix-and-match, and the staff absolutely loved the pizzas. They were all eating by 12:30. Included is a sample of some of the pies.
Simple walk-up counter; absolutely amazing pizza.
Union Street Pizza is an absolute gem! My go to place for lunch. They have THE best pizza in park slope, perfectly cooked with a crispy crust, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of cheese and sauce. Super friendly personal, I Highly recommend this spot for anyone who loves great food!
They handled our group of 8 kids eating pizza for a birthday party 🎉 Worked out great.
The best pizza has flavor and it’s just soo amazing in the area I come here mostly everyday !! 10/10
THE BEST. PERIOD. Great pizza. Amazing service. Great location. Table for dine-in too. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It's a great place to grab a slice. The service was great and the prices were reasonable. It's definitely a place to regularly stop by
Tiny little unassuming place with INCREDIBLE pizza. We had the MVP and upside down pepperoni and both were amazing. And it's right outside the Union St subway station so it's super easy to get to. Highly highly recommend. Great habeets!
one of the better spots in the city. top tier pizza. and if it's made fresh? heaven on a plate. very light, crispy, and flavorful. it conveniently being right next to the station & the guy at the counter being so friendly and helpful are the cherries on top.
Quick and scrumptious slice of NYC pizza! Was here in Brooklyn after watching the Chelsea v Arsenal match, and I had the Hawaiian pizza (with pep & saus) it was fire! I’d also recommend the square pep pizza! Five out of five!
*Updated* - Stephen got in touch with me, took the time to explain what happened in detail and then rectified the situation. Big thank you for stepping up!! Really looking forward to ordering from here many more times :) *end-Update* I placed an order and kept checking on it. The gentleman on the phone kept reassuring me that it would get delivered. After calling the 4th time (2h later) I got a different person who then told me they never received my order…
Family oriented vibe when I went there for the first time. Vlad was super friendly and welcoming and so was the other guys but I didn't get their names. Place was clean, food was hot and flavorful.
Conveniently located right off the subway station this place has great pies, and great pricing. This place is clean, it’s cute and great customer service! If the locals love it (& I can tell they do because people were coming in and out the whole time we were there), then you know it’s good!
To all NYC visitors, get on the subway to Brooklyn and go over to this place for pizza you just really can't find roaming around Manhattan. This was the BEST NY pizza spot my wife and I tried while we visited the city in August 2025. We tried 10+ different spots. The vodka margherita slice here is honestly one of the tastiest slices of pizza we ever had. Perfect combination of cheese, tomato sauce, vodka sauce, and basil. Do not skip that! The plain cheese slice was very solid too. The guy working (I think the owner) was amazing and we felt very welcomed.
100% recommended. First time for me, and I'm in love with that pizza, we got half buffalo chicken and halfmeat lovers pie and their fries with the special sauce, also their lemonade and hibiscus tea. We devoured that food, we enjoyed it, and we are definitely coming back. The staff was very professional. Keep it up the good work, guys.
Excellent slice, best in the neighborhood. Classic plain cheese is amazing here, lots of cheese and perfect balance of crispy/chewy crust. Margarita (pictured) also solid. EDIT: I wanted to update this now that I’ve been in the area for a while and ordered from Union St Pizza several times. This place really rocks. Amazing value. The classic pies and slices are great, but so are the more non-traditional varieties like the white pie as well as Sicilian and Detroit style.
Real NYC pizza spot. Thr Pepperoni Grandma with the Hot Honey 👨🍳😘. Also had a plain slice to give it a fair rating (the basis for all pizzerias). Cheese was cooked well, moist but not oily. Tomato sauce had the right amount, not too sweet, and the crust was superb. Great undercarriage, zero flop. 7.8/10 on the one bite rating scale. Customer service could be a tad nicer tho. Chic wasn't so happy that I decided to add a second slice after I initially came in for just one.
An absolute treasure of a pizzeria. The square pepperoni is out of this world. The sauce is excellent, the flavor is on point. It's my go-to for a celebration or treat. The round pepperoni with hot honey also delivers every single time. I recently had the penne vodka pasta dish and it was so great, it pushed me to finally write this review. I've never had anything less than delicious from Union Street Pizza and I hope it never closes!
Good place! Like my chicken pizza! Taste great! Come at Saturday 2pm, no line here at all. Get order immediately and seat inside. Big place inside you can definitely seat here. Water or soda are also available. Just beside the R train subway entrance. 3 dollars for cheese pizza, the rest at 4 or 5 dollars a slice. Whole pie is 19-25 dollars.
Conveniently located just outside of the Brooklyn bound R train station, this pizza spot is great for a slice or a pie and it’s open late (till 2-3am). Had the pleasure of meeting the owner Aiden (sp?), he’s a super chill guy. They do a Detroit-style pepperoni slice, pictured, they get the cheese all the way to the ends so it’s nice and crispy. I really enjoy the “cupperoni” style pepperoni. While that slice was great, I really enjoyed the spicy supreme slice, also pictured, which was sausage, pepperoni, onion, and jalapeño. The honey added the perfect amount of sweet to that spicy slice. I’m also a fan of their logo. Great no frills pizza spot!
Good pizza, nothing special though. They do have hot honey on hand, so that's a big plus for me. Better slices in the neighborhood, but not a bad place to eat if you're waiting for a train at Union st
I came in for a quick bite and wanted the last slice of what looked like mushroom pizza. I pointed and said I wanted a slice of mushroom pizza but the owner too a closer look and said that’s not mushroom pizza that’s actually the veggie pizza and the difference is that the veggie pizza has parmesan and the mushroom is just a white pizza and I said “I don’t care” in response. And he replied lightly “Oh, you don’t care” like he was disappointed that my palate wasn’t refined enough to care that the ingredients were negligibly different (and it isn’t) but that little tone alone is making me come back. This place has real Passion for Pizza and that’s respectable. Pizza was just fine
Solid pizza for not too pricey, but I have to call this out as someone who knows math and also looks for the best deals - any of the pizzas with $5/$16/$28 pricing for slice/14”/18”, the medium is actually the best deal based on the area of the pie… you pay less per square inch than the large, which kind of just irks me because generally the larger pie you get should be the most economical deal. So 2 mediums at $32 is the MUCH better deal than a large at $28
Ordered from uber eats. Everything arrived on time and hot. as you can see from the photo, they really skimped on the pepperoni. pretty disappointing... mozzarella sticks were crunchy and flavorful, the sauce was ice cold but no biggie, I just warmed it up in the microwave. cannoli's are pretty good (B+)
Okay, final edit. I've had this place rated 5 stars, then 2, now 4. I've had a few off experiences, including pizza arriving "messy"/missing toppings and badly burned pizza, but for the most part this is a solid joint. Expensive ($35 for a large pepperoni pie) but good. I'll leave my old photo, but also re-upload the photo I had of when I first ordered and was impressed. The majority of orders are like the "good" pizza.
On the plus side, this pizzeria sells pizza by the slice and has a large variety of types available by the slice. It was also conveniently located near our hotel. On the other hand, the pizza itself was average. In addition to not being remarkable, we felt it could have benefited from more sauce.
The pizza is very bland with not much flavor to it unless you add seasoning to it. The service is ok but when you pay with your card it asks you if you want to tip them which I think is wrong because they are not delivering anything. Plus the place is very small inside and smells strongly of marijuana since there's a weed shop 2 stores over. Not a kid friendly place at all!
Decent mushroom slice but ever since I went back I noticed VERY poor sanitation standards. Makes me sick thinking about it. Pizza guy comes in from riding his bike for a delivery and immediately starts handling pizza, no hand washing, no gloves. I told him to wash his hands before getting my slice and he said he always does, then proceeds to rinse his hands for only 3 seconds while rolling his eyes. I walked out. They are nasty in there. It’s a shame.
I ordered extra cheese and the pizza look like it came from the $1 pizza shop and I paid 28 Dollars and tip.🥲😡😡😡😡😡. The pizza 🍕 is NOT GOOD
It seems like ignoring customers is a common practice here. Lost one more customer. Good luck.
So unfortunate, one of the worst pizzas I’ve had in my entire life. Not NY-like at all. Not sure if I came in to close to closing (10:05pm), but all 4 of my slices were dry. There was not enough sauce in any of my slices and the margarita pizza was just full of garlic. My chicken ranch & meat lover were all over baked and I couldn’t finish my slice.
I am baffled by all the reviews praising the sicilian pizza. I wanted to trust them so we decided to try it out. The crust was hard and seemed overcooked, even the center of the crust seemed stale somehow? The sauce was sweet, the "hot" honey wasn't hot and made it even sweeter. The best part was probably the pepperoni... and that's it. The pizza just... was not it. I am very disappointed.
Ordered a buffalo chicken pizza and i did not ask for onions on it, i called them back and i told them we dident ask for onions and was told that their menu says it contains onions when it clearly says ONLINE menu and the paper Menu that it doesnt have onions, the owner wanted to debate with me saying their all the white pies contains onions, Due to a food allergy it couldnt be eaten and they dident wanna fix it for us unless we tip the driver again, Horrible service i dont recommend ordering here. You might want to be more clear on your menu details especially when it comes to people with food allergies.
