I'm not from around here but spent a few days in the area and was looking for a breakfast place. Absolutely love this place, food is great, friendly local patrons, family type atmosphere, fast service from a friendly staff.

We visit the Odyssey Family Restaurant several times a month for breakfast. We continue to chose this for our breakfast spot because the food is always delicious and the waitresses are always friendly and welcoming.

The servers here are always so nice, food is consistently good, and quick service!

Love this place and have been coming here for years and will always! There’s no better place for a great breakfast, lunch or dinner. Food is always fast and hot and the staff is always extremely friendly and they definitely remeber you after a few trips, I don’t even have to say anything and they know exactly what I always get even if it’s been a long time between visits. Highly recommended place especially for Chicken Souvlaki!

This place is fantastical. I highly recommend the steak (larger of the 2 offered without question) and eggs, with xtra crispy home fries and of course, sour dough toast. It is thee most delicious meal no matter what time of day you decide to eat it. I had been craving this meal for days and days and when I finally got it, wooooo weeeee was it everything I was craving and more. And if ur lookin for a salad, The beef souvlaki dinner, med, with xtra pita, muah de-lee-c-ousous!!! The service is awesome, the servers are some of the nicest wny has to offer and because the prices are soooo reasonable, you will have more than enough money leftover to let them know how awesome they were! One of my all time favorite places to eat. Esp cause of how casual it is, so I don't feel out of place if im not all dolled up. You won't be disappointed. FYI, they have the quick crack and a scratchie machine in the hallway, so if you gamble theres that, but if u got a gamblin problem, you might wanna go for take out and have a friend pick that fantastic meal up!

Great Family Restaurant! It’s rather small inside but that means nothing! The menu has something for everyone and all of the food and beverages tastes great! The waitress was friendly and the service was outstanding as they make sure you have everything you need! The facility was clean including the restrooms which were very clean! The prices are on the cheap side which can be awesome when you have more people. Highly suggest this great restaurant!

Everything I have eaten here has exceeded my expectations. Today I had the chicken Caesar salad. They serve this with a garlic toast. My son had chicken wrap cajun-style he said it was absolutely fabulous. Everything is worth every single penny you spend to buy what you like. Way way way better than the chain restaurants.

It's so refreshing to see an open restaurant inside a TA Travel center. Ever since The TA Travel center let everything go. Good job on this location, keeping things clean and available for our drivers!!

My Dad says he knew of a great place for breakfast. Three hours later, we arrived at The Odyssey up form western PA. Good stuff! I got the build your own omelette and he swears by the corned beef hash.

The waitress she was amazingly friendly! The eggs were cooked a perfect over medium. I’d visit again when I come back to town.

Stopped in here on our road trip from Toronto to Maryland. You wouldn’t think of it as much from the location or curb appeal, but inside was very friendly and efficient service. The food also tasted great for inexpensive prices. We enjoyed the potato leek soup, grilled cheese, Greek burger, sweet potato fries, and the Philly cheesesteak.

Mid-afternoon on a Friday. Only a couple customers. Our host was very prompt in getting us.. Ordering was simple, I had the Gyro sandwich w/fries and a dinner salad..the Salad was just the right size and the dressing good. My Gyro was very good but could have been larger.. Overall a very good experience. I highly recommend this location.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants years ago. It was always crowded, well not anymore and for several reasons. Staff is slow and food prep is also. Food was edible but not great. Overpriced. We won't be back,sad.

It's okay. Mom really liked the salmon dinner. My chicken wrap with feta was okay. It had balsamic dressing in it, but it overwhelmed everything else. Despite that, this looks like a go-to alternative to the chain restaurants. Beautifully designed bathroom with new fixtures.

Diner type food gyro was dry and tasted old. Tuna melt not enough tuna. Price good but you get what you pay for. Service very slow and restaurant was not busy. Were out of Riveria dressing which is what makes Pittsburg Salad...also not enough fries on salad.

Average. Got the open chicken souvlaki. The chicken was kinda gnarly. Waitress asked if I wanted tzaziki on side but didn't mention it was 75 cents. I wouldn't have minded but it was yucky. No don't at all in it, even. Dressing tasted like Kraft, not like standard Greek. Hubby said his burger and fries were good.

Went for breakfast first time here , my girlfriend got the slovaki breakfast, was okay, definitely not the worst or near the best. I got there poached egg hollandaise breakfast over a waffle , I enjoy it very much and probably will come back for it at least once .

It was just ok. It had a mild gas leak smell in there. Not sure if that's what I smelled but I was getting a headache from whatever it was. My boyfriend got their fish fry that looked really good. Kind of wish I had ordered that. The server was very pleasant and made sure we had everything we needed.

Just ok. Been here a few times. Coffee is good but food just ok. Still have the taste of I think its bay leaf in my mouth from the split pea soup.

The staff was very polite and helpful. Unfortunately the food made me very sick. I got the zucchini patties and was sick for next few hours. Disappointed

The service was great, however if you advertise Greek food, you should serve Greek food. I ordered a lamb souvlaki and the lamb was terribly salty, and in spite of the fact that it was inedible they still charged me. Lesson learned, this was one odyssey we won't be repeating.

Have eaten here many times and enjoyed the food and service but suffered food poisoning following my visit Friday....chicken salad!

The service was lacking. While the waitress was friendly, she could not answer basic questions about menu items or upcharges. The most outrageous part of the entire meal was the server's claim that she was not allowed to know if certain items contained dairy products - and when questioned further, she explained that the owners of the restaurant refused to even hint of whether dairy products were used (presumably they did not want their secret recipes found out). That was a problem as I am lactose intolerant. The menu did not include any information as to food allergens. The food was mediocre at best. The tatziki sauce was more of a dill with garlic sauce, and the lamb and beef that was used in the gyro was compressed rather than shaved. It was also overcooked. The feta cheese was a cheap knockoff made with cow's milk rather than goat's milk. Everything about the meal was subpar. And to top it all off, I was overcharged for both dinners on my tab. When this was brought to the attention of the server, she lied about what she said the upcharge would be and refused to fix the check. I will not be visiting this facility again.

For the first time I visit Odyssey and order coffee and pancakes. Let's just say couldn't finish my coffee after 2 sips of coffee couldn't drink it at all, and the pancake not fluffy and tasty like chalk. Pancakes with regular butter isn't that great.

Country omelette. If what I got by takeout is an indication of in-house NO THANKS. Missing the bacon & ham.

Rude staff. Had the turkey bacon club, stale bread with tasteless everything else. Fries were obviously from frozen, could do better buying them from a grocery store. Friend had a half decent omelette, but the home fries, terrible. Not what they used to be. Wether it's a new cook or new owners it has no business being in business. I wish I could give zero stars. Never again.

We where there today food was good so we asked for a Philly cheese sub to go home with us the sub sucked had no cheese hardly any meat was terrible !!! If you want people to come back to your restaurant make the take out orders alot better it actually looked like left over from someone's else's dish That's bad

As a regular who has been going often I was surprised on how lousy the service and food has gotten. It took 30 minutes to make an egg sandwich that was slapped with a cold slice of cheese and a hard roll that would Crack your teeth. I left in disgust and didn't eat the sandwich. It wasn't edible. I will not be returning.

Writting this review while sitting at the table. Terrible service, French toast was conplete mush and had to listen to the waitresses stand around and talk about getting their legs waxed. They didn't even realize that 3/4 of our food was not eaten. I did not a coffee refill after our food was pushed aside. They don't even deserve 1 star.

My first clue should’ve been that we were the only people there a bit before dinner. The food was atrocious! 6 of us and 2 people ate their food or a part of it. Chicken fingers and steak dinner. Soulvaki was absolutely disgusting! The dressing was like slime. Waitress said they use cornstarch to thicken it. Why? 🤮 The pita was grilled but had something sticky all over it. The olives were good. The peas in the dinners were bagged peas that were clearly not cooked properly. They were hard and oily. The rolls served were cold from being frozen I guess, and the top of the roll just cracked away. 🤮 I felt bad for the waitress because when I told her the food was horrible, she didn’t know what to say. She did discount 20%, but I feel it wasn’t enough. $90.for garbage imo. More than half the food we bought was inedible. And I wake up the next day sick as a dog. Apollo is right down the street 🤷‍♀️

Not sure what happened, this used to be my favorite restaurant when I would come into town. Service was very slow the past few times, it took at least 45 minutes to get our order which was not large. No refills on coffee unless you ask. Request for a box was forgotten about while waitress stayed up front chatting and filling containers. After second request, still no box- we had children who didn’t finish yet and we would have liked to have them finish it later. The restaurant was not busy to attribute the delay to.
