We visited/toured Highmark stadium and had lunch at Prohibitions with our grandson. Supper friendly faces and made special tacos for him even when not on the menu. Thank you for everything ❤️.

A hidden secret! Delicious food at a great price! Our server, McKenzie, did a phenomenal job. She was friendly, helpful, on top of getting drinks and bringing our food! The order was exactly what I ordered! We are definitely going back soon!!

Food is great, every menu item so far enjoyable. Service is pretty good, understandably attention is paid primarily to regulars but you will eventually be acknowledged. Beer is average nothing special for the area, mixed drinks taste under poured but nobody said it was a cocktail lounge. Darts are available and outside seating with a separate area off of the bar.

Edit: spoke with a manager. The situation has been rectified. I hate to do this. I loved the food and the server was great. We had a promotional gift card from December they wouldn't take because it was "wing night". My wife and I have both worked in retail and understand promotions, however no accommodations were made or allowed for $50 that's due to expire by the 27th. Every night they have a promotion. How are we supposed to use this? We would've settled for full price with the gc, or just cover the other food and drinks.

We visited Prohibition from out of town, for a Bills Game. This place is incredible! The staff could not have been friendlier, attentive, and genuinely appreciative for our business (Bernadette is a complete rockstar!). The wings were among the best in Buffalo, and the beer frigid cold, and not overpriced! I HIGHLY recommend Prohibition if in town for a Bills Game, or even if just looking for a friendly spot during a non-gameday food and beverage experience. We will absolutely be back!

Great atmosphere and staff, the wings are great and those alone are a 5! The flavor options were awesome. The French onion was a little too salty but still good. We had the honey bourbon and the maple bacon caramel dry rub (pair that with the garlic blue cheese for a flavor explosion)!

Great restaurant, wish the operator of the jukebox and the dartboards ( Dart amusement) were more reasonable in their employment. I was a good technician and took care of this restaurant/bar in a very professional way. Oh well.

I suggest this place to everyone, every time. It’s a Bills cheering section during the games, a karaoke hot spot on Thursdays and a live local band jump off almost every weekend. Thursday nights are my favorite. Joey and Julia always remember your drink and greet you with a smile. You can’t have a better night here.

Prohibition 2020 has become our home for Wing Wednesday! The wings are amazing super saucy and crisp! Absolute perfection! Best of all is the staff, one in particular is Nick he is super attentive and amazing we are thrilled when we see him you can tell he really cares about his customers!

Right in front of the Bills Stadium. Was told to go here by a friend, but I was not disappointed. I'd put this place right at the top next to Duff's. Service was just okay, but the food more than made up for it. The Loganberry BBQ and Hot Garlic Parm both slapped hard. Though they won't do only drums (or wings), which isn't cool. But they'll spilt an order of 10 wings into 2 flavors. Wings were also crispy without having to ask for extra crispy. They did short me on a wing, though, and I didn't catch it till later in the day. Highly recommend and would go back.

One of my favorite places in OP. The food and service are top-notch. The wings are bomb and the burgers are extremely good. Even the loaded tatertots are on the mark. Great beers are on tap, but the bartenders make a mean mule. They have specials events throughout the week. If you haven't checked them out, you need to.

This bar is a nice bar in walking distance to Highmark Stadium, home of the Buffalo Bills. My wife and I went here on a Sunday afternoon for dinner. We ordered the Bavarian Pretzel Logs and 20 wings (half spicy honey garlic sauce and half Amendment 21 hot garlic parm sauce) Everything was very delicious. Atmosphere is a nice friendly bar atmosphere. They are open on Buffalo Bills game days, but recommendation is to come on an away game and not a home game. Plenty of parking around the restaurant too. We definitely will visit here again.

Julia is the best bartender in WNY. She should get a massive raise. Such an amazing experience. We will be back. She is so skilled at pouring beers!!!🫗 Go bills.

I am giving prohibition 5 stars. I had hot pretzels with cheese that were fantastic, Crispy delicious garlic parmesan wings and tater tots. The prices were excellent! I went on wing night when we got there it was packed our server Nick saw our group of 8 and immediately accommodated us to ensure we could sit together! He did this while still waiting on several other people he was a pleasure to talk to and really made us feel welcome helping to make it a place we want to go every Wednesday wing night! The atmosphere is very relaxed a bar setting with comfortable seats at rustic tall tables the decor is exactly what you would expect from a Bar set at the foot of the Buffalo bills stadium. 10/10 will be back!

I recommend having the Apple Bourbon Burger with salted fries- both were absolutely delicious!! The burger was perfectly cooked, had incredible flavor, served with apple slices, bacon and a savory sauce and then the fries were both crispy and salty. The atmosphere was just as impressive; their Christmas decorations made the whole place feel warm, festive, and inviting. Had an amazing experience and will be back soon!

Best weekly karaoke in Western New York Thursday nights at 8:00 currently. Food is excellent and fresh. Atmosphere can get clicky, but still always a good time, especially on karaoke night. Decent parking. Totally wheelchair accessible.

It was late and most places were closed. We didn't know what to expect because neither one of us had heard of this place before but when we got there we saw that it was a bar setting. So against their better judgment we went in to get something to eat to our surprise it was karaoke night and we had a blast. We don't drink alcohol but it didn't matter to them. They just kept bringing us some (non alcoholic ) logonberry drinks and of course our dinner. My daughter loves karaoke. ( I'm NOT suggesting anybody should go to a bar)

We stopped for an easy Friday night dinner and decided to try the prohibition dip sandwich and bourbon burger. It was our first time trying menu items besides wings and we were not disappointed. The dip sandwich had a nice portion of tender beef and the au jus was very reduced and bursting with flavor. The burger was a nice size, had a tasty sauce, plenty of crispy bacon and was cooked medium as we requested it. I am told the fries were very good, and fresh cut which is a plus. I got a side salad and it was fresh and fine. It usually comes with more toppings but I cut them out due to dietary restrictions. Service at the tables is always very good. Servers are helpful and pleasant. There was also a pretty good band playing which was a nice way to end the week. Apparently the band has quite a following so the crowd added some fun people watching to the casual vibe of locals. We have been several times before but we usually come for Wednesday wing night. Wings are always hot, juicy and crispy. Tons of sauces and flavors to choose from. There are specials almost every night here as and they offer a small discount to pay with cash. If you are in the area and want to check out a casual bar with good bar food this is a good place to try.

I wish I could give 10 stars all the way around. Beginning with the warm and courteous greeting we received from Victoria our entire experience was amazing. We tried the 5 cheese stuffed peppers, bourbon BBQ boneless wings, caprese Flatbread, steak and pepper Flatbread and white Flatbread. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection! Portions were huge and prices were great! Excellent atmosphere, tasty food. This place must be poppin for bills games! Definitely will be repeat customers!!

Tried Prohibition's wing special (WED) and it’s a solid deal. The flavor selection and styles were on point, and the wings were cooked really well with a nice crisp. Really enjoyed them—definitely worth checking out if you’re craving wings on a budget.

3rd or 4th time here! Had a taste for a burger so looked at menus around town. Found the Mac Daddy here and was sold!! Nice, thick 10 oz burger, med rare, juicy and delicious! Tots were excellent also. Crispy and well seasoned. My girl had a chicken sandwich which she enjoyed as well. 5 cheese stuffed peppers may have been the star of the show!! Fantastic!! Only minor thing is thr road noise. Through no fault of prohibition, sat outside and that busy intersection was LOUD! Still goin back!!

Pleasantly surprised when we walked in. Very nice place with seating inside and outside. Wing night was very impressive with a large variety of wet and dry rub options. Wings were a good size too. Nice selection of craft beers on tap as well. Could probably use a little more help ( who doesn't these days) but the 2 girls working the bar and waiting tables did a great job. We will go back again to try something else as their menu looked delicious.

My Fiancé and I stopped in late last night after a really long, stressful night and we just really needed something to eat. I stopped in around 10:30pm and asked if they were still serving food. We were very happy that it was a yes! we were somewhat promptly given menus. I will say I did notice that the bartender was very focused on eating his own dinner and using his phone which I suppose given how slow it was isn't a big deal but it was slightlyyy off-putting making us feel like we weren't the primary focus. We ordered 10 hot garlic parm wings and a grilled cheese with tater tots. my fiancé was thrilled that they had grilled cheese as she was oddly craving that in particular of all things and she said it was very good. The wings were...okay. They were overcooked and the sauce was just slightly off. It wasn't the best garlic parm. But they were good enough considering the time of night. I did notice this place has a TON of wing sauces so i'd love to come back during regular lunch or dinner hours to give them another shot. I ordered two beers, a utica and a labatt light on draft. The Utica wasn't that good. I couldn't tell if it was just not a great beer, or if the lines needed to be cleaned. It could have been either. Overall this place had really cool vibes, decent food, and decent service given the time of night. We will be back to experience it under better circumstances. Maybe when the weather is better as we also noticed there is a killer view of the new stadium being built from right outside we'd love to have a beer and take in the sights and sounds of the Bills future home. Hope this provides some healthy constructive criticism and we'll definitely be back another time

Wow these wings were amazing! They took about thirty minutes to come out but they were worth the wait. I got hot and they were perfect heat. Large sized, fresh and delicious. I did have to chase our own drink refills up at the bar, a to go box, and finally the check since out server only came out to us three times. It was mid afternoon on a Friday when it was pretty slow there so it was annoying that the server wasn’t on point BUT the food was awesome.

Came at 12 on a Monday and it was empty. Bartender waiting tables and taking care of customers. Food was great. Wait was a little long for our main meal. Got weird towards the end. Bartender gave more attention to his coworkers than real customers.

I wanted to like this place but overall wasn't that great. I would give this place another try if I lived nearby, especially for the wings that are really cheap compared to other establishment. I got a cream ale which was really good and a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. It wasn't hot at all (which I don't mind because I don't like scorching spicy food), and I suspect it was burned or slightly overcooked. It looked way too dark and had a slight burn taste. Could have said something,but given the fact that it took almost an hour to get our food (the place wasn't even that busy, with some people at the bar and only one table of 4 people) I wasn't going to Wait who knows how long to get it redone. The waiter was great tho. Super nice and very attentive

Ordered the PB&J burger. I've had many a burger from lots of businesses with their version of this burger on the menu. Of all of them, this one was the worst. Raw saltless peanuts was the only peanut flavor I noticed. They fell out all over the place, made for an annoying bite and I had to chew so much more before swallowing. Falsely advertising peanut butter. I mentioned to the bartender that the burger isn't really as It's described as and he said there is peanut butter in the jelly. There was a streak of melted jelly that mostly sat in the bottom of my tray. The bun was super sticky on the outside. The jelly flavor was a ghost flavor and licking my fingers gave me more jelly than the burger did. There needs to be a layer of lettuce between the jelly component to help reduce melting while also making sure the jelly is thicker and can handle this application. Honestly, the jelly was said to be a housemade sauce and it was nothing special. Completely disappointed overall. I also ordered medium rare and mine came medium when my friend wanted medium and got medium rare. The fries would good. Solid lineup on beers. Service on a slow Thursday with 2 tables and like 5 people at the bar was not great. Took a long time to get our drinks ordered and we weren't checked in on until 85% of our meal was finished.

Gave 3 stars because the hot pepper dip is phenomenal however for the what the cost is one would expect to get more than a servingnot even the size of one serving cup that comes in a huge container....why...while we saw a nice size bowl of the dip on the bar...was at least expecting that much

We have been told a few times that we needed to check this place out so we finally made the long trip from Niagara Falls to do so this past saturday. I will start out by saying the 5 cheese stuffed peppers were Delicious, but thats about the only thing that was good that night. We sat at the bar, and the bartender wasnt talkative at all, not a deal breaker but usually helps out with the vibes. Then We got menus, ordered our app and without any questions he then took back all the menus. What if we wanted dinner? He didnt ask or offer at all. After that, I had to ask 2 times for another beer even though he looked at my empty glass. I then asked the bartender and one of the guys who came out of the kitchen what 5 cheeses are used in the peppers as they were So Delicious and the bartender just walked away and left the kitchen guy to try and answer me, which he couldnt. He said he isnt sure as he doesnt personally make the filling. And neither of them offered to go find out for us.. so, thats when we decided to cash out and go to The Ridge.. we will stop back to try more food as that part was good, we just hope we dont get the same bartender. He would make a better hostess to sit people.

The first time I came, on a Saturday, my friends and I were very content with the food and service. This time, multiple tables were dirty and had sauce all over them. The stuffed banana peppers and garlic bread were cold. There were multiple flies flying around. The mustard clearly hadn't been used for a while and squirted all over us. Our waitress was super inattentive, and twice we had to ask other waitstaff to help us, box up our food, and bring us our check. Also, Wednesdays are wing day, and thus, they don't have their regular menu. The atmosphere itself is casual, and we liked the southern rock music.

I believe the first time we ordered from here it was ok but today our delivered order was not good. My beef on wick was dark brown, old looking, and when opening the container I almost got sick the smell was so bad. It was definitely old reheated meat smell. I threw it in the trash after trying to take a bite anyway (I was very hungry! Lol) and spitting it out because it was definitely not good. I tried to eat the French onion soup next but it was incredibly salty so i tossed that out too (last time I thought it was ok so I got it again.) We also got an order of mozzarella sticks that looked incredibly overcooked and when we cut it in half there wasn't any cheese in a single one of them, just hard crusty shells. Very poor experience to have three bad items in an order. Not sure we will try here again.

Unfortunately waited over an hour for our food. Appetizer and soup came out with meals all at once. Was told there was only one cook in the kitchen which is why it took a long time , but there was only 2 other people there. Totally forget to even make one of our cocktails. Food was lukewarm at best. Only saving grace was the food was still pretty good.

Food was good. Service was very slow. While it may have been short staffed an update would be nice. Once we finished our meal it took over 20 min to even see anyone to o rain a bill. Overall every step was very very slow. Aside from the very slow service the food was good. Burger and wings. While only a few dollars and not worth my aggrivation the prices on the bill did not match the menu. Overcharged around 3-4.00. again not hudge but something you need to pay attention too

The food and atmosphere is lovely but my server Julia was extremely rude with the WORST attitude. I ordered over the phone, she had a tone which i brushed off but when I went in to pick up it was even worse in person. She glared at me, made a face and rolled her eyes when I tried to give her my card. She made me extremely uncomfortable, but I would try the place again as long as she is not my server.

I wasn't thrilled with the game day menu food. The food wasn't very good. We had to wait a long time, which is expected when it's busy. No big deal, but the pricing was insane.

The place is extremely dirty first of all. The music is so loud you can't talk at all. They say they have seafood but when you ask they don't have any. They forgot to place part of are order and it took 1 hour. The place is not very nice. Do yourself a favor and go to the many restaurants in the area and get some good food!!!

When we first walked in, there was no one to take us to a table. We had to ask. $6.24 for 2 cokes seems high. French fries were only Luke warm. Definitely wouldn’t go back.

Waitress was pretty rude, but the food was pretty yummy so it almost made up for it. For $150 I figured they would have been a little nicer to us. Very disappointing. Came up from Oklahoma and it was a bummer.

I really wanted to love to the Prohibition 2020 experience, but it was underwhelming at best. The ambiance is great, but it took well over 30 minutes for our food to arrive. I ordered the Nashville hot chicken, but it lacked the heat and flavor I was looking for. Others in my group had the nachos, which were bland and got soggy before they were halfway through. That said, the service was exceptional—our waitress was attentive and brought drink refills without us even having to ask. TL, DR: it’s great for atmosphere, service, and drinks. Hard pass on the food.

Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to try the food after looking forward to it all week. When we entered all the tables were full so we made our way up to an empty spot at the bar hoping we could get a couple drinks while we wait or even place an order and eat at the bar. There were two girls and a guy behind the bar, all three saw us and none of them approached or even acknowledged us. We sat for another 5 minutes before deciding to just leave. Very unwelcoming, will not be returning.

Our first experience was great food and service. We decided to come back with family not local hoping for a repeat experience to be sadly disappointed. We came at around 1pm on a Friday 4 customers at the bar and one other table of 4. No one said a word to us as we walked in the door while we awkwardly stood there for several minutes. No hi have a seat anywhere we'll be right with you or wait there we'll get a table, nothing. We made our way to a table and stood next to it and just waited for something. The waitress remained at the table of 4 never once acknowledging us while she continued a 15 minute conversation with them, and the bar tender did the same so we left. Not sure why we even waiting that long. By the way the waitress was facing the door and the table was in front of the door too. We have no plans of returning.

There is a sign when you walk in that says see bartender for service. Waited at the bar while multiple people who walked into the restaurant after me were served by the only bartender on staff. Went in on a day where it was over 90⁰ and there was either no AC or they didn't have it on. I got tired of waiting and left. I can say the food looked good. Unfortunately I wasn't going stay there all night just to get service.

Horrible service! We are in town for the Garth Brooks concert. Got in early around 2:30pm.. sign on door says ask bartender for table service. We did that, was told to sit anywhere, there were 2servers and someone would be with us. We found a dirty 4 seat high top in the bar, and sat and waited literally 20 min! Not one person stopped to either wipe down the table, ask us for a drink or even say they’ll be with us soon. At 3pm there were 4, FOUR bartenders, and only two servers! Uncalled for! I’ve worked in the restaurant business before, my husband is the administrator at our local Family fraternity. Not sure which service was worse, the service today, or the service at the Bettis 36 bar and grill in Pittsburgh (that’s NOW CLOSED) when we went to see Garth at Heinz Field a few years ago! J/S!

My wife and I went I for lunch and we were very disappointed. We got there with not a lot of people there. Bartender took his time getting our drinks and getting our appetizer order in. We didn’t mind that until time to get our main course. We wait over an hour for our food all the while others around who showed up after we had were getting food and drinks. I had to ask twice about our food, including going up to the bar. The waitresses who were there seemed to be just milling about and taking selfies. Overall not coming back to this place, staff seem slow and not interested in serving unless you were at the bar and food was just ok

Stopped by for a bite to eat. Place was somewhat busy as you would expect at 7:30pm on a Saturday evening. Most people were there for drinks, but not food. We were waited on by a bartender from one of the outside bar areas. The table was left dirty from previous customers. We asked to have it cleaned and she did clean it for us. We ordered drinks and placed our food order. Burgers and sandwiches. A table, that was being waiting on from another server had just ordered food. About 15 minutes later they received their order. A short time later, another group sat nearby, ordered drinks and eventually food. Meanwhile, I observed our waitress/bartender at the bar continously on her phone and clearly concerned about something. 46 minutes later after placingour order, our food finally arrived. It was mediocre at best. The house cut french fries were really good though. The burgers and sandwiches not so much. Our friends got the tater tots. They were horrible, crunchy, and tasted like they were refried from the night before. While we were eating, the people next to us that I mentioned earlier, received their food in 14 minutes which leads me to believe our waitress/bartender possibly had forgotten to place our order in a timely manner since other tables with different servers received their food orders in a reasonable amount of time? Also, I would like to mention that we were never offered condiments or salt/pepper. We got our own from another dirty table. Stop by if you wish, but I would recommend looking around for other options if you're looking for a meal.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This has been my 2nd time coming into this bar & I can say I have never experienced such racism in my life . the bartender that worked last night was rude , both the women & guy . No greeting , just “ want do you want “ the women , put her hand up & messed up my drink & I let her know that it wasn’t what I asked for & Proceeded to tell me I ordered it wrong . I work in a restaurant so I know how things go & she should know that’s not how you talk to people. Instead of apologizing she caught an attitude . We brought about 10 people in thinking it would be somewhere nice to be for my birthday & we are all big drinkers … but we will never step food in this establishment again ! You guys need better staff ASAP

I will never go here again. Stopped here on our walk back home to our air bnb after a pre season bills game. It was very hot and sunny at the game and we left after the 3rd quarter. We e we’re happy to find an uncrowded restaurant and a nice shady table to sit and get some drinks and food. We are a family of 2 parents an 18 yo and two younger children. Every member of our party ordered a beer or pop and our bill before tip came to over $100. They asked us to pay right away before anything came out as they were not keeping open tabs. We did and left an 20% tip. All fine. However we all drank our drinks and were still waiting for the food to come out and asked for tap water and they refused. They said they were only serving bottled water. Our waitress was sweet and apologetic about it. But that’s not ok to refuse paying customers sitting at a table tap water. The food was mediocre. Not bad but nothing compared to the great and well know wing and beef on week spots we visited this week who all gave us tap water.

Screw this place. We went in on a random Tuesday night and ordered 20 wings. After 45 minutes the waitress informs us that she gave our order to another table and it would be 30 minutes if we wanted to reorder. Seriously? We decline and she says " Ok. Hold on." We figured she was going to talk to the manager or cook to see what could be done to correct HER ERROR. Nope! She comes back to give us the check for the 1 alcoholic beverage that was ordered.

Stopped in due to an event nearby. Food was mediocre at best and barely warm. Not worth the money I sent. The blonde that took my order was rude and definitely shouldn't work in customer service.

The wings are flavorless and even the Buffalo hot is lame at best. Tied a few different flavors and nothing was worth the expense.The service is slow and unfriendly. Don't know how you can offer Buffalo wings in Buffalo and get it so wrong. There are so many better options. Don't know why there are any positive reviews

No service, went for dinner not one person came to us ,told to seat ourselves but they never come around, good bar but don't plan on service for food

This place is a joke. No au jus with the French dip. Looks like my wrap was put together by a toddler. Soggy, bland fries. Soup was BEYOND salty. Not even one thing is edible. Such a waste of money.

Food was good, ambience was cool, and lots of space. Karaoke is Thursday. The bartenders were some of the worst I ever came across. Short almost bald guy that’s miserable at all times but was finally the one that served me after the blonde with tattoos walked by me and acted liked she didn’t see me so many times. She did get a drink for me once and she has the most superficial fake attitude. You can tell she has to try to be a nice person. If you check other reviews you can see people feel the same, maybe get new staff. These two are terrible

I went with my grandparents for the first time on Friday my food was pretty good. They made my grandma's salad wrong, so it had to be remade. The service absolutely sucked anytime we needed something it took forever to get our waiters' attention to come over and see what we wanted. I also asked for a refill on my coke, and when I got it back, it tasted weird to me and my grandma. My grandma said that it tasted like it had alcohol in it. I'm not sure if it did or not, but if it did, it was illegal for me to drink bc I'm under 21. It was also really cold in there it was colder in the restaurant than what it was outside.

Being from out of town always looking for a new spot to eat. The food was pretty good but the lack of personality from the bartenders made for a bad experience. Busy or not when working in food service you should be somewhat friendly and inviting. Maybe this is more of a locals place but will not return. Would have put a zero for service if i could.

Perfect name but not implemented right. Here are some Free Ideas 💡 1. You are called PROHIBITION. Use that name by creating a speakeasy theme. Have the bartenders dress in PROHIBITION era attire. It would create a fun atmosphere that would make more revenue due to its a theme. 2. Change your menu. Offer something the other bars are not offering. Being a stand out again...creates revenue. 3. Staff needs to feel appreciated so staff well. A happy staff environment creates happy customers. Last few times I went the mixed drinks were mixed with 2 plastic cups. Who does that? Experienced bartenders mean everything. Purchase a proper bartenders set this way shakers and a stirrer can be utilized. Edit: While I appreciate your defense, reply. Wings and draft beer is EXACTLY what every bar in WNY is doing. 😉

Food was supposed to be ready at 11:10, I got there at 11:05 and waited until 11:25 never got my food, walked out.

Been an out of town season ticket holder for 20 plus years. Have had several beef on Wech’s and wings throughout that time at the Progibition and thought the food was very good. I am hosting a tailgate this Sunday for 50 plus and wanted to have Progibition cater the event or at the very least sell the trays and I would pick up. The problem is that they never answer the phone and you cannot leave a message. I called 8 times within the last 2 weeks to place an order. Was given several different names every time I called and was guaranteed that someone would call me. No one ever called. Must be very nice to not need a very large order for their business ! Customer service is a zero !

Terrible Food, Rude Service, and Uncomfortable Atmosphere: I was really disappointed with my visit. The food was terrible, bland, poorly prepared, and overpriced. The service was rude and dismissive, which made the experience even worse. On top of that, the overall atmosphere felt unwelcoming and uncomfortably political, as if the staff’s personal views shaped how they treated customers. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience, and I won’t be returning.

Horrible service! Walked in and sat at the bar, plenty of empty seats but still took 10 minutes for someone to check on me. I ordered take out, the order was put in right away and she got my order wrong, even had me as dine in instead of take out. I got the other guys attention to fix it right away. Then I waited for 1 HOUR 20 mins for my order, for take out (onion rings, pizza logs, and 1 flatbread). It was not busy, the place wasn't even a quarter full. So ridiculous!
