First time there....very nice place....just stopped in for a drink....but we' ll be back for some great sounding menu items!
Lovely staff, nice relaxing atmosphere, I would akin it to an English wine bar, as it has the same atmospheric feel. Not too loud and fiery but down with the ambience.... lovely!
Good food, drinks and service. Prices are pretty standard.
Food is consistently excellent. Mike and Christy at the bar offer great service!! One of our go to spots!!
Always great food and service. The steak gorganzola pasta is amazing.
Everytime we visit the service we receive at the bar is incredible. Jillian is attentive and warm towards all the guests its one of our favorite spots to visit!
Great food great service great ambiance TV's for sports if you're intrested but not so overwhelming that you can't carry on a conversation. They hit a home run with me every time I'm in there..
Bartender was outstanding!! He made suggestions and didn't disappoint. I don't normally care for mint, but his Mojito is a must have!
I had been there once before and it seemed stuffy and less than fun, but this time it was a great atmosphere good music... Maybe it was just a good night... And the company that night.
Very nice menu, food was delicious, something for everyone, good tap list as well. Portions are large. Bring your appetite!
The Prime and Wine special is fantastic and a great value. The service was outstanding. The ambiance was quiet and pleasant on the snowy evening we visited.
Nails it every time! Outstanding quality, killer service personal and a fantastic general manager! Kudos to the environment and entire team. We visit weekly.
Very good fish tacos and wings! Drinks good, service excellent
We really enjoyed their pizza. Fresh made and cooked in a wood oven. So delicious.
On a crisp winter evening in Buffalo, NY, a crowd of eager football fans gathered at Op Social, a renowned local establishment known for its inviting ambiance and exceptional cuisine. The night was set to be filled with excitement and camaraderie, as patrons came together to watch the highly anticipated playoff game between the Buffalo Bills and the Cincinnati Bengals. Op Social, nestled in a prime location, is celebrated for its eclectic mix of delectable food and an impressive selection of drinks. The interior, a harmonious blend of modern and cozy, was buzzing with the energy of hopeful fans, clad in their team's colors, sharing laughs and predictions for the game. As the game commenced, the atmosphere was electric. Cheers and groans echoed through the establishment with each play. Patrons enjoyed the array of culinary delights Op Social is famed for – from gourmet burgers to artisanal cocktails, each dish and drink was a testament to the establishment's commitment to quality. However, as the game progressed, an unforeseen and harrowing event unfolded. Demar Hamlin, a beloved player, suddenly collapsed on the field, suffering from a cardiac condition. In that moment, the boisterous energy of the room shifted palpably. The crowd, once united by the thrill of the game, was now bonded by concern and shock. The staff at Op Social, faced with this unexpected turn of events, handled the situation with commendable professionalism and empathy. They swiftly adjusted to the game's cancellation, managing to maintain a calm and supportive environment amid the brewing anxiety. Their demeanor helped in keeping the crowd composed, transforming their role from hosts to comforting presences. The patrons, too, displayed a remarkable sense of respect and solidarity. Conversations shifted from casual game talk to genuine concern for Hamlin's well-being. Strangers found themselves engaging in deeper, more meaningful interactions, sharing personal stories and experiences, finding common ground in this shared moment of human vulnerability. As the night unfolded, the focus was no longer on the game that was supposed to be the highlight of the evening. Instead, it became about the collective experience of empathy and community. People who entered Op Social as fans left as part of a community that had come together in a moment of crisis. In this way, a night that was meant to be about football at Op Social became a memorable chapter in the lives of those present. It was a testament to the human spirit's capacity for empathy and unity, a story not just of a game watched, but of a shared human experience that transcended the bounds of a typical evening out.
Perfect place to meet friends or business colleagues for drinks and food. Casual atmosphere. Great pizza and craft beer menu. Excellent daily specials. Watch your food being prepped, sit at high tops or regular sit down dining. Friendly staff.
The french onion soup is one of our favorites. We also love the beers on tap and mixed cocktails.
Very nice experience, appetizers were delicious stone oven pizza was perfect and the atmosphere was great . If your looking for quality and great food and on point service, this the place .
Had a beautiful redhead bartender, who was super friendly and on top of everything!!! Never had to wait for a drink... Our food came up fast and tasted amazing!! If your looking for a place to eat and have a drink stop in here on Sunday bartender was amazing
Best of all worlds for dining...nice beer list and full bar, wife's fav Pinot...high end pizza to nice filet, great atmosphere.... Great for drinks at bar (great apps- try the hot pepper dip) or finer dining with significant other... Our new go-to place, enjoy!
I love this place bartenders are fun and make you feel comfortable. The food is great. I love their pizzas, they always have a nice crowd and their happy hour is really cool as well.
Mushroom pizza and a salad were delicious. The serving sizes were perfect for two. Service was friendly and very accommodating.
The crab cakes are filled with a lot of crab, not a of bread crumbs. The sauce has a nice tart taste . The salad that comes with it has a nice tasting dressing. Every time I have it,it always been the same great taste.
Food was very good and our server was incredible. We sat outside with our dog and our server even brought out water. It's a great setting had a great time will be back.
Great brunch spot. The beef on wick pizza was quite good, the has was my main choice and it was well prepared. The place is nice inside and service was excellent.
I had a very enjoyable experience here while in the area for work. I definitely plan to return on future trips! I especially recommend the brisket!
Wonderful, pleasant service. Phenomenal food, modern twist on classic dishes and local favorites. Little bit loud for me. Definitely plan on returning.
Always love it here. Nice place to stop for a drink and a quick bite. Fire grilled pizza's are delicious. Staff always friendly.
Great as always! Fish fry is delicious and absolutely huge! One thing I noticed was that their dirty martinis are REALLY, REALLY small.
I had the crab cakes and hot pepper dip. Both were really good, and the dip was smooth, not chunky. Hubby had the salmon, which looked good.
The honey Dijon crusted salmon is delicious. All the food looks good, but I like the salmon so much, I haven't tried anything else. Whenever I go to OP Social, I get hyped for the salmon and then the creme bruele for dessert. Small space with a great atmosphere. Seems to be popular with former professional Buffalo athletes.
First time here! I really like the atmosphere. There is a large bar but it is a very nice place to have a very nice meal. People were enjoying sports on the large screen TVs. The service was excellent. The food was very very good, definitely worth it.
Great place to sit at the bar and catch a game or three. Entrees are all top notch. Pubfare is sold: Cobb Salad, chicken sandwich, and secret pete wings are all great options. Pizza is a great fast choice. Drinks can be pricey if you’re not used to drinking in joints where the silverware is wrapped in linen. You wont be disappointed in their food and their barkeeps are friendly pros.
First time visit and was pleasantly surprised. The waiter was very helpful and guided us answering all our questions. The food was very good and enjoyed by all of us. Will be returning.
Food was great! The Pizza was very good and the Drinks were tasty and refreshing!! They sat our party of 11 very quickly!
Second time here. Wasn't sure what to expect during restaurant week. It was busy, waited at the bar for a table and had a glass of wine. Our party of six was seated and we enjoyed the 20.18 menu. Pork steak, whipped potatoes, and asparagus were delicious! It came with a choice of appetizer and I had the crab cakes. Lots of crab and very good. The rest of the party had pizza, they have several on the menu- also very good!
We didn't plan on going there but Mangias was full. We stopped in and we're pleasantly surprised. After maybe a 10 minute wait we were seated in this busy place. The wait-staff to customer ratio is higher than expected and we had prompt service. The food was very good, if slightly overpriced. It was a good experience and we will certainly go back.
I visited the restaurant for the first time on 8/30/18. Upon entrance we were seated promptly. The service was immediate and friendly. I ordered the salmon dinner. The fish was cooked to perfection and the compliment of vegetables was delightful. In addition, our waitress was smokin hot.
Excellent food and service tonight. Love their fish tacos. Amanda was our server tonight. Super friendly and checked on us regularly. Check out OP Social on your date out.
Very nice place. Was seated very quickly and all staff were very pleasant. Food was great! We had the fried chicken dinner and the fish tacos. We will for sure be going back.
I told my parents 3 years ago that I was engaged at this restaurant. My parents love this place. We’re regulars and every time it’s always service with a smile. My coworkers love it here. You have good people and food.
I like the vibe in here. Food is consistently great. Always friendly staff. Good selection and very clean bathrooms.
The food was delicious and I can't wait to go back!
We went here on a Monday night, and while it was fairly quiet when we got there at 5pm, by 6:30 it was bustling. Still, we had privacy at our table and the restaurant never got too loud or distracting. The atmosphere is dark and cozy, warm and inviting. I had the mushroom pizza which was delicious and enough for two meals. My friend had the chicken cobb salad and thought that was fantastic as well. I had the spicy pineapple margarita, which was a little funky at the first sip but I really enjoyed it. It does have a little heat to it. The cost of the meal was reasonable, considering what pricing has gotten to today. The service was very friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a very enjoyable night out and would definitely go back.
Our favorite restaurant in Orchard Park! Consistently delicious food, every time we go. The wings are our favorite in Buffalo; crispy and perfectly sauced. Social chicken and the pizzas are great mains. Do not miss the peanut butter pie for dessert, it’s legendary.
I've been here several times. Great atmosphere. The interior is well done. Vert modern. The staff is always attentive and polite. Every meal I've had was very good to excellent. The most recent being chicken milanese, which was outstanding. The gentleman seated next to me at the bar fish tacos, which looked and smelled awesome. I inquired how they tasted, and he was very pleased with them. Definitely dont second guess coming here!
Our server Joseph was very friendly, very attentive, and timely with checking in and getting our food to us quickly. I got the Italian pizza and my wife got the Fried Chicken - will have to go back soon just to order the exact same things. If you like fried chicken, I can’t recommend it enough, thought about stealing her plate so I could have both!
Nice spot for drinks at the bar. We went mid-day so it wasn’t too busy or overcrowded. Easy to get in and get a seat. Came in for a couple of beers and tried the buffalo chicken soup which was very good. It was a cold day so this really hit the spot for me. Would come back at a non-busy day or order this to-go.
My 1st visit Friday night here was fabulous. The food I ordered were both on their daily special and it was so delicious & appealing. The wine was my favorite wine, so it paired well with my dinner. The employees deserve a 10 Star rating because of the service & they were outgoing and extremely friendly. The atmosphere was low lit for a comfortable dinner. I'm definitely visiting again when I come back to town.
We had a lovely experience here last weekend. It had been raining a lot and we needed to get out of the house. We were very happy we chose to come and check out their dinner menu. The food was wonderful. All very comforting after the rain and drops in temperatures. The Brussel sprouts and pork belly was out of this world. My significant other was delighted and he usually isn’t into trying sprouts. They were ripe, tender, seasoned well and the pork belly was a perfect addition. The grilled peaches offered the perfect contrast to the peppery arugula. The salads ingredients were portioned perfectly. The fried chicken was very good. Seasoned well, crisp and juicy. There was a lovely fall side dish made of roasted apples and sweet potatoes. I’d like to try that side again. Nice to try something different with familiar ingredients. Service was good. The space is nice. Open and lots of seating. Big bar area, big screen tv’s and a pizza oven. A very fancy ceiling! I’d definitely recommend it here.
I’ve been there a couple of times and the staff and food are great. Love the menu. However my fellow clientele were snobby. Be prepared for a pretentious atmosphere.
The wagyu burger was really good. All the prices were just really high for the type of food you are getting which is the reason for my review
Been here a few times now and the atmosphere, food and serves has been very good. It is a little loud at peak times but a good place overall.
The Food is Great! We went on a busy Friday Night. I called a few days ahead, but they do NOT take reservations. So, we waited for 45 minutes to an hour for a table. There is a wide variety of food to order, from Artisan Pizza to Filet Mignon. This place is very expensive, but the food is done very well. The drinks are $7, beer $6. Pizza averages $13, the Filet $40. Orchard Park Social is for the "Trendy Crowd."
Food is good, but not as good as the prices would suggest. We had a large party and our server did a great job of handling our food and drinks.
Food was fine. Might be a limited menu because of the circumstances. Not giving 5 stars. Service was awfully slow. Also, value. I don't mind paying for good food, but $18 for a small pizza with 3 veggies seems excessive.
Our waiter and service was great. Pizza was very good, but lacked a little flavor. Looking forward to going back and trying a different one because it was still very good.
Great atmosphere. Been here several times and never had a bad experience. Last visit our table we had chopped and arugula salads, brisket, gnocchi, meatball pizza, and sea bass. All were very good. Great selection of beer, wine and spirits.
The menu is a little too limited. It was really hard to decide on anything because of the lack of variety. However, our waitress Lauren was absolutely amazing and whoever was the bartender deserves a raise. Great mojitos
This was our first time at OP Social Tap & Grille. We had very good service. We were mixed about the food. My salmon and my husband's pork chop were great. However, our friends both had over cooked chicken. Overall it was a good experience.
Love ambiance and atmosphere the menu is fresh and progressive. The venue can get a little crowed, but lots friends and family to run into while you are having a drink at the bar. There are lot’s friendly staff and familiar faces to meet you during your visit. Menu is full of selections of specialty pizza and salads to indulge your palette. I would like to see more specials that are off the menu or a “special OP Family menu”.
Stopped at OP Social after hiking the eternal flame trail in Chestnut Ridge Park. Had the pan seared scallops and my wife had the brisket, both were excellent. Service was fast and friendly. Overall a good dining experience.
Menu is always changing with seasonal options which is a plus. Also, the salads are tasty and flavourful. It looks nice and has a pizza bar that is the best part. Manager is nice and greets guests at tables.
Weekend, not weekdays. During the week, the food is consistently disappointing and our drinks were absurdly filled with ice, overflowing almost. We always greatly enjoy our weekend nights there — it’s just an incredible difference during the week, on several occasions now.
The service is great, but the noise level can get very loud. This obviously isn't a problem unless it's busy, but it still makes it hard to have a conversation there while enjoying a meal.
Thai calamari was good. Grilled peach salad was not - whatever objects with grill marks in it were, they were absolutely NOT peaches.
Our first visit here, good food, drinks and service, had the braised pork shank and steak both of which were cooked to perfection. Now on to the bad, the atmosphere was loud and slightly obnoxious. Parents at the bar drinking while thier small children were left to thier own devices, running around the bar/restaurant area and sliding on the floor which was reminiscent of a Chucky Cheese and definetly a destraction from an otherwise nice evening.
It was fine. Service was nice. Food was good, nothing special. Little pricey for what it was. Not much flavor. Menu used a lot of fancy words to make it sound better than it was
Decent food, little pricy for what you get. Not very enthusiastic staff, at least when we were there. Pretty basic beer list.
I like this place, it has a nice vibe, good people. $9.00 for a pint of Guinness is a bit pricey though, even for OP. If you're looking for a place to have a couple of pints, this likely isn't it.
The place looks nice, a real inviting atmosphere. Don’t get put in the high-top section outside the bar area where we sat, the service is not good there as a waitress has to remember to come over from the bar area, and it feels like an “over load” area. The prices are generally very high for the type of fare. We went on St Patrick's day, I ordered the corned beef dinner. The corned beef was tasty but sparse for the $22 price tag. Must have been pushing the carrots, as I was served about a lb (maybe filling the space where more meat was missing?)The advertised rye bread with mustard never came. Wouldn’t be my first choice in the future.
My friends and I went with high expectations due to the great reviews; however, we all left a little disappointed. The crab cake appetizer was very good, but everything else was just okay. The Bavarian pretzel had parts that were hard as a rock. We also ordered the gnocchi poutine for the table, and we all agreed they tasted like the “fryer” and they were very dry inside. As for my main course, I tried to order the Prime & Wine special which is only available on Sunday evenings and a great deal, but they were conveniently out of prime rib. I went with the scallops instead, and they were not seared well and also very bland. I do not mind paying more money for a meal if it is done well, but the food was just not worth the price. Additionally, our waitress was not knowledgeable and did not appear to be interested in truly helping us have an enjoyable experience. All this said, I probably would go back for another try, since most others have shared great reviews. Maybe I’ll just stick with the pizzas and salad?
This review is based on handicapped accessibility. There was little to no accessibility parking was a nightmare had to walk a entire block with walker. When we finally got there was hard to open doors had to climb stairs to get to dining area. Bathroom door was extremely hard to open much more consideration is needed!!
Would love to give this place 5 stars; the service was great and so was the food. They were super accommodating from high chairs to even helping out to cleaning up the water my daughter spilt. However, when it came time to change the baby there is was no place to change her. When I asked about it they said "We really should, I'll ask the manager" and then avoided the situation. We found a couple of chairs near the restrooms and put them together just to be able to lay the baby down and change her. Wish they would have addressed the situation better. We would be hesitant to return having two small children.
Went here for dinner with high expectations from both reviews and word of mouth. The service was good along with the atmosphere itself, however the food was not so great. It all tasted bland, and the whole menu seems as though it is a knock off of much better restaurants in the area. The prices are outrageous for the quality and taste of the food, I have had much tastier food from Applebees.
Small but nice higher end eatery in Orchard Park, NY. Gluten free beef on weck pizza was not that good. Light toppings and lots of room near crust for toppings left bare. Flavor was bland. GF crust was decent though. Grilled chicken sandwich was tasty but sloppy. I recommend ordering light sauce at best. Mashed potatoes were just that, nothing to speak of. Our server was polite and knowledgeable. Atmosphere was ok for us, nothing special.
Not so great. The food is only so, so. They offered to substitute veggies and then charged additional without saying anything. Also, a $15 cake cutting fee without any warning. Seriously? We won't go back.
Overall, very generic. It’s an upsold Applebees or a wannabe Griffon Gastropub. This place would be at home in a dying mall across from a JC Penney between some vacant storefronts.
I didn’t have any set expectations when coming here for the first time. It’s a beautiful place with pleasant enough staff but that’s the best I can say about our entire experience. I order a royal cosmo to drink. Bartender looked like he knew what he was doing. However dispute his efforts it just wasn’t good. Paid $10 for a drink neither me or my date could finish before we left. The menu items sound all good and yummy and we tried to like our food but our meals were nothing more than average ingredients thrown together with no talent or inspiration. My date got the beef on weck w fries. Fries were normal. BOW was actually smaller than what we re used to here in WNY. But priced much higher than what’s reasonable and for what it was. I ordered a shrimp and pasta. I even talked to the witness while ordering expressing my distaste for some of the other ingredients in the dish hoping she had some ideas what else the chef could substitute…but she had none only offering to to keep them off the dish. Which ultimately i opted to trust the chef and take the meal as is. No flavor whatsoever dispute the amount of extras thrown in it. The shrimp was way over cooked. No sauce no flavor. I took a few bites and then started eating my dates fries instead since there was no bread offered prior to our meals. 3 separate times while I was eating said fries the waitress tried taking the plate away. At first I thought it was just out of habit but after telling her a third attempt to take the food away while I’m literally eating off the plate I started to think she was just being pushy bc she wanted to get us out of there so she could leave. My meal was by far the worst shrimp/pasta dish I’ve ever paid for. Which set me back nearly $40 just for that. No salad or soup or bread with the meal. I paid $40 for a few bites of gross food and $10 for a drink I couldn’t even finish. At no point did anyone ask us if we enjoyed anything. So we re out $100 for food and experience that we didn’t enjoy at a place that seems to not really care if you do. Just sucks cuz it seems like it might’ve been a nice place at one point
My husband and I went last night to OP Social and Tap for dinner. We have been there in the past and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I lived in Orchard Park for the majority of my life and was quite disappointed. Last night we both ordered the Lobster Risotto. It looked appealing, but when we both took a bite, it was shocking. It tasted as if you were eating from a salt shaker and my husband's same dish apparently also was the same. The sodium was horrific. When I mentioned this situation, the waitress did offer to take it back and we could order a different dish. We both actually enjoyed the pieces of lobster and attempted to "tolerate" the dish. I would have preferred the same dish, but prepared well (minus a surplus of salt/sodium). I did ask to speak to a manager and a manager was not present. The waitress did not offer to comp drinks or an appetizer, offer a complimentary dessert, or at the very least take a portion of the $ amount off the meals. My husband and I both struggled but he got through his dish and I ate the lobster and left some of the risotto part. I normally would have taken the remaining home, but it was saturated in salt. We reluctantly paid well over $100 for 2 meals that were not satisfactory. On top of that, I became ill and up all night. The waitress never took our number and again only offered for us to order a different meal instead of having the chef prepare the same meal with an adequate amount of sodium instead of an excessive amount. Plus, there were no other offers of compensation. I would have anticipated a delicious, well prepared meal on Valentine's Day Weekend, but was quite disappointed. If the matter was at the very least handled better, I would not have written this review at all. Customer service and satisfaction should matter.
O P social--- the O P must stand for over-priced not Orchard Park- which makes sense there...Ordered the Mediterrean pizza.....very thin small flimsy and wet..too much balsamic..no taste..$18 not worth it...also had 1 glass of Relax wine..$10! Too much when a bottle would be a couple dollars more to buy.. probably wont go back.
This restaurant ALWAYS disappoints! The food lacks flavor, or it's over cooked and burnt. The service is mediocre and the management is clueless.
It was horrible! Get a chef ! We sat at a table with cold air blowing on us . Had to leave winter coats for the whole time. Table was wobbly and when I said to the server she was rude. When the manager was confronted we walked away and she was laughing.
It's rare I leave a bad review for any restaurant, and admittedly the food is good. But if you're worried about COVID I'd recommend you go elsewhere. I went here when Orchard Park was in the Orange Zone, and restaurants only had takeout available. I wanted to grab a gift card for Christmas, and waited at the takeout entrance in the back 30 minutes before they opened. Out comes employee after employee, not wearing masks, not social distancing, taking smokes, talking etc. And in comes four more. No masks on their way in or their way out. We called a bit earlier than they would open to see if they would do a curbside pickup, since after seeing employees not following guidelines we weren't wiling to go inside. No answer, so we decided to wait till 4, and at 4 an additional employee came to the back entrance to start their shift, no mask, nothing. We decided to leave, and went around to the front entrance, where another employee or customer had entered the front door of the establishment with no mask. As someone with friends in business I would have been ashamed to support a business that didn't take the COVID guidelines seriously. I'm sorry but this negligence has certainly caused me to make up my mind about who I will support in the future.
I am surprised how bad the service was for how slow it was there. Not only was the wait staff atrocious, the food really wasn't that good. I own a few businesses, not to mention travel alot for work. I eat out alot because I like to see the areas that i am visiting. I am tattooed, more so that most people are used to. Clearly that was an issue. I took two of my friends out and really wish i didnt go to this place. It ruined the amazing day we had at the Bill's game. Apparently my tattoos means that I dont make what the server makes in a year, in a month.. next time I am in the area I will definitely take my money somewhere easier. I dont mind dripping a few hundred on a meal. But not when the food is bland, over priced, floors dirty, bar cluttered with used glasses, or clearly a miserable staff. Maybe get a new job of you do not like it. Or at least fake it. For gods sake.
Used to come here all the time, probably won’t anymore. Ordered their pork belly app, I used to love it as it came with a healthy amount of pork belly and brussel sprouts. Cost $22 and came with 4 probably 3” long pieces of pork belly. Rest of the menu was ridiculously priced, so I settled on the social chicken, which was okay. Restaurant wasn’t busy by any means, but saw our waitress 4 times (including for drinks and food orders) during the 1-1/2 hours was here.
Do not go here if you don't look rich enough to live in orchard park. Took a while to be greeted by our server. Drinks and appetizer came quickly. After eating our appetizer for a while the server came to the table and asked us what we ordered again as she did not write it down. After an excruciating long time our food came with one wrong order but we were too hungry to say anything. Meats were very over cooked and dry. Tables ahead of us got better service and their food in a timely manner. When we asked for the check that came extremely fast. Very very disappointed and will not be back.
Got there on a Saturday night a little after 5pm and they had to turn away all business because they only had 2 servers for the whole restaurant. 2 servers on a Sat night at 5 seems pretty bad, but there also was a Billy Joel concert that night. Not sure what the deal was. They don't take reservations either. Looked good from what I saw from the people that were there but I felt bad for the Hostess. We went across the street and got seated and spent $375 there and it was good.
Waited for more than 10 minutes for a waitress, had to go to the bar for our own drinks. Orders were take eventually, after the bartender got us a waitress. Never asked if we wanted a salad. Pork chop tasted like pure cyan pepper. Filet was very good however.
I’ve been here many times but will no longer support a restaurant with terrible customer service. I ordered the pot roast, when I received it I noticed it was extremely fatty, at least 70% of my roast was a Gelatin fat which I set aside & ate part of my mashed potatoes & carrots waiting for my sever to return. She did return after everyone was done eating. I mentioned that there was an issue with my meal which she notice right away it was all fat and said she would remove from the bill. I work in the industry so I understand things happen no big deal. The server took my plate & later returned to say that the best she could do was 25% off my meal per her manager & if I wasn’t happy she said I could ask the manager to come out. Honestly it made me feel weird that one in an upscale restaurant they didn’t handle it properly, like I was trying to pull a fast one so I just agreed. My server could tell my frustration and went back to talk her manger again which she came out with the same response. I wasn’t offered a replacement meal, another option, I never even seen my food again. Honestly at $35 a plate only offering my 25% off that dish when I didn’t even eat it is crazy and the fact the manager didn’t even come out to handle the situation and hid behind the kitchen. All the other food at the table was fine. I didn’t argue but I will not be returning as I walked out paying a $150 tab plus tip, leaving hungry & the feeling of disrespected.
