Super good fresh donuts, some outdoor seating

This has been my favorite donut place for so many years. They open at night, and there's nothing better than fresh hot doughnuts in the middle of the night. Every time I drive through camarillo, I stop here no matter what. Do your self the best favor of your life and come here!!

A nice, broad selection of various donut styles! All freshly made! A local, popular donut shop. Fast counter service. Mention getting a dozen donuts in advance so they open a carry box instead of reaching for a small paper bag. We are eating donuts that were a day old and they were still so very tasty and still had that fresh softness!! Expect to stand in a line for a short period of time though!!

Best donuts ever! I have never been disappointed with Rolling Pin. I especially love their chocolate chip donuts. Super yummy! They have a great assortment of donuts, many of which I have never seen anywhere else. It is a walk up donut store and you are ordering at a window. There is some outside seating with a nostalgic 1950s feel. Many of the customers drive up and take their donuts to go. If you like donuts, you will be amazed with Rolling Pin. As I said, best donuts ever!

Probably the best donut I’ve ever hard - so warm and fresh! My husband had the donut with chocolate and sprinkles on top and I had the glazed donut. There was a line, but we only waited about 10 minutes on a Wednesday around 9pm. I’m also in my second trimester of my pregnancy so I was especially happy with our choices :)

Probably the best donuts I've ever had. They are light and fluffy, and not overly sweet, I love the maple bars, the maple flavor is nice and natural. The buttermilk crumb is also one of my favorites. Tender yet crunchy exterior with a wonderful interior and delightfully balanced

Now I know what all the hype is about. This place is really incredible. Great atmosphere. There's a line when you get there on the weekends, but don't be scared. Takes less than 5 minutes to get help. They have some incredible donuts. We tried the blue sprinkle donut, a caramel milk filled donut and a old fashioned crumb. Everything was bomb. We can't wait to go back next weekend and try something new. Maybe a stuffed cronut and of course they have coffee and milk. They have cool pins and stickers as well as some t-shirts its well worth the stop. Can't wait till they're Ventura location opens since it's a little closer to my house. There is plenty of parking

The best donuts 🍩!! We live in Santa Paula and never mind driving to Cam just for these treats. For my sons birthday a few weeks ago, we ordered donuts instead of cake and our guests (and us) were so excited to hear where we got them. And my son loved his personal giant number. Never disappointed with the food or experience

Be there early! One of my favorite donut shops. Great bites and tons of good selections like their breakfast stuff if you get there early. Stuff does sell out quickly so be there early and you won't be disappointed doing so. Great donuts too, fluffy, nice crust. Offer a good amount of variety. Can't go wrong

It's a walk-up joint, so classic. Their pastries are fenamunal , Krispy Kreme has nothing on this place, I don't come to this side of Cam but when I do I go to Rolling Pin Donuts...lol.. Great donuts. Croissant donuts were crunchy. Sugar donuts were light and less sweet (just right for me). Old fashioned ones were tasty but heavy.

I'm new to the area and I am definitely glad that I found a new donut place. I've been here a couple of times and the donuts are always freshly baked (but not all varieties are available at all times...gotta take what you can get). The staff are friendly with the regular patrons, and I hope to become one myself these days.

Without a doubt the best donuts I have veer tasted in my life. You can see them make them while you wait in line, and it just makes you so excited to taste them. The dough is doughwy like it's supposed to be, unlike that trash Krispy Kristy Kreme where you're eating crumbly sugar. The taste is a amazing and it melts in our mouth. The oooel working there were nice and very hardworking. I will definitely be back for more. There is usually a line, but it's not that bad and very well worth it becuase of the quality product you're getting.

All the LOCALS know this is the best spot in town...even out-of-towners enjoy stopping at this family owned business! It is very comforting & very good to be able to watch them make everything fresh! Everyone from all walks of life come here to not only hang out, but also share stories & laughter with their specialty fresh made coffees & donuts. It's the hot spot to be. In January I was visiting family and we came home from dinner and saw this place it had lines and was so busy! I stopped the night before and got a cronut and it was one of the best donuts I've ever had! I ended up going back last night. The rolling pin was amazing and so good!

Just had one of the Rolling Pins specialties. A Cronut (1/2 croissant 1/2 donut) the best hybrid pastry ever! Light and flaky like a pastry and flavorful like the best donut. A perfect marriage. And you have to try the Maple Bars! So good!

It's a great little doughnut shop that has an excellent selection of doughnuts that do not have that greasy/oily residue like some of the other doughnut shops that reuse their frying oil.

A Camarillo staple - fresh donuts made every late evening and early morning. The staff is usually personable and friendly, and their prices aren't extravagant (even though they've inflated with everyone else). If you're going on the weekend or on Friday nights, expect huge lines - up to 30 minutes or more.

Great donuts! We ordered two donuts and both were fluffy and warm, if they don't make them on premise I'd be surprised. They also glaze the donuts before frosting them so they were extra sweet.

This place is no joke! Chocolate chip, chocolate icing chocolate filled, glazed long johns is easily their best work. It will leave you in a sugar comma, but it's worth it. The walk up windows make it a quick stop. The old men sipping coffee near by greeting everyone who walks near are a nice touch as well.

This place hands down has some of the best donuts I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. I had a strong pregnancy craving for a good donut, and their original glazed one was everything I needed. Also the blueberry donut with the crumble on top was divine. The staff was really patient and helpful as well. I will definitely be back!

What a cool name! Fast and friendly service even with a line of customers. We were told this is a popular donut place. I normally drink black coffee but decided to try the vanilla cappuccino. It was extremely sweet so I added straight black coffee to it. Delicious. The donuts were yummy and my grandchildren were pleasantly surprised!

Donuts at midnight was a great idea! Was kind of surprised by how many other people had the same idea. Line and service was fast though. I got a tigers tail and was pleasantly surprised when I bit into it and it was still warm.

Blueberry is my favourite! Not too sweet and chewy. Will always be stopping by when in the area!

There is almost always a line at this place! But it is definitely worth the wait. Great Donuts. I love their warm tiger tails. Definitely a great place for a late night snack. I can't tell you how many times I have been hanging out with friends and we have decided to just take a little trip to Rolling Pin in the middle of the night. there are not very many places in that area that are open late so it's nice to have this as an option!

GREAT DONUTS! They LOVE making pastries and donuts, and it shows! And you can watch the process unfold. The hours are unorthodox but they have donuts after most other places are closed, and if you want donuts for a morning meeting these are your guys. They also offer things that no one else does, I can't even describe because I'm a donut guy. It's magic the way these disappear!

Best donuts buts service!!!! I stop by before work and they always have fresh donuts and a wide selection! Try the croissant with jalapeño, cheese, and ham!!!! Just discovered today that they now how these awesome mega size donuts!!!!! You have to try it out they are open as early as 2am!!!!!

I used to come here when I went to college in this area back in 2011, this place is open late and offers extremely delicious donuts in classically flavored coffees of various kinds. also has hot chocolate. this is at such a high rating because it is still, 20 years later, one of the best places you can possibly eat a donut anywhere, let alone in Camarillo. anyone going to the Starbucks down the street is a fool. get the dozen donut holes for $3, are their blueberry donut. absolutely pure nostalgia for me.

Great local mom and pop donut shop est 1994. Delicious donuts, made right there on site. Very friendly staff, they made a short video with my phone of the donuts being made. Up close and enjoyed watching them being made. There are so many options to choose from. Very reasonably priced, great selection. Can't wait to enjoy some more when in town. Thanks for the sweet treats.

LITERALLY THE BEST DONUTS IN THE WORLD!!!! Long story short, a friend bought me one of their blueberry glazed donut years ago, and I instantly fell in love. For years, I never knew where he bought them and who made them. Tonight I freaking found them!!! Reunited and it feels so good! Thank you Rolling Pin Donuts for starting my new year off right. Rolling Pin is such a cute little, hidden gem of a shop. The staff are helpful and friendly. I love how we can watch them make fresh donuts right through the windows. My all time favorite is their classic blueberry glaze; a dozen of those alone will change your life. Next up, is their blueberry crumble glaze, so fantastic and just different enough from their classic. Then we have their white sprinkle cake-y version. Omg, it was unlike any other sprinkle I've ever had. The dough tastes so special. Idk what it is. Maybe the thickness. Maybe the chewy, but perfect texture. Definitely packs all the sprinkle favor you want, and then, some! Their classic white sprinkle is next. Last, but not least, idk what it's called, but it looks like a small loaf of crumbled glazed bread; and it tastes amazing. Basically make sure you buy a dozen. Get two of each, because I guarantee you'll want another one of each for later. Oh and I almost forgot, the best--and most dangerous for my figure--part...they are open 24/7!!!! I can't wait to bring all my friends here for donuts.

Awesome donuts!! Probably the best donuts I’ve had, next to Stans in the Bay Area. They have this giant donut for bigger appetites. Although, the regular donuts can satisfy a healthy appetite as well. Also, I liked their donuts better than Randy’s. Don’t @ me.

Best donuts ever. Always a line but worth standing in it. Open 24 hours most days. Credit cards accepted but they charge a 50 cent fee. If you are visiting Camarillo, this is a must try place in my opinion.

I loved it, hubby did not. Guess it just depends on what type of donuts you like. I will be back & recommend if you like dense, icing covered donuts.

The donuts are 10/10 excellent. We have been coming to this establishment for years and more than half the time the men behind the counter have been rude. I understand that it is hard to hear orders/hear what the men behind the counters are saying, but being rude to customers is unnecessary. I’d still come here for the donuts and for the nostalgia. I don’t expect to have a pleasant experience with the workers, unfortunately.

Its great that they are open late. Maple bar was great but the jelly donut barely had any jelly in it. The sugared donut was mid and the glazed was average.

Buttermilk bars are about as good as it gets for donuts. However, frustrating to come here and they don’t have what you want. Credit card surcharge is annoying. Sometimes I feel like the staff isn’t too concerned about customers waiting. Overall, I like to come here, but seems like they could be a 5 star operation with a small amount of effort.

The donuts are amazing however the wait was horrible. We waited for 1 hour. Got there at 11:20pm and was finally able to order at 12:20am. I wished they allowed online ordering so it can be wait can be less.

I was in the area and thought I’d give it a try. For me it’s 3.5 stars. Perhaps I tried the wrong donuts. The basic plain glaze was just ok. I rounded up to 4 stars because the Chocolate Chip Roll/Donut was different and good. Heavy on the chocolate side of that’s your thing. The tiger tail was just ok. I prefer the one at Donut Man in Glendora. If you want the absolute best plain glaze, try Stan’s in Sunnyvale area. Randy’s plain glaze is also better. I can see a lot of the locals love this place and that’s great. If I’m ever back I’ll try different donuts.

If you're a donut person,this place always has fresh donuts.A dozen were 22.00.Kind of high I thought, being from New England, I'm used to Dunkin Donuts.These were more cake like, but good. The blueberry and glazed,I enjoyed most..it's take out only,there might be benches outside. I do have to say,they have a croissant donut that's excellent. The only thing, for 5.00 they need a bit more filling

Update: Picked up and eaten within 2 hours. Something is wrong with the recipe or that particular batch. Picked up 4 different types. Review: Think I was given yesterday’s doughnuts 🥹. Microwaved 15 seconds to resuscitate freshness. Can be difficult to get in/out due to limited parking right off Las Posas Rd.

Unfortunately the outstanding product was overshadowed by the condescending service. If I'm paying a premium price for a product. $48.00 dollars for a dozen donuts. To be rushed through my order is not how I want to be treated.I understand the line but dont rush me, help with suggestions not with annoyance when I ask questions about said premium product. Timing is everything. Crazy long line, of over 30 minutes, at 10:00 PM on a Saturday night. Customers are happy to wait. While I've had a excellent doughnuts from here, today was not THAT experience. Most of the good ones were gone and/or not yet done.

Everytime we visit my sister in Camarillo got to this place.Now before a dozen would fill up the box but this time the box got filled to 3/4 so that means according to there new size the took the amount off of 3 donuts. They use to be fluffy and even taste better.They taste like they used a different flour and were dryer. So overall I believe they've gone Hollywood since they are getting another location they made the prices go up and cut done on there quality and quantity that's why they get 2 star's. Next time I will go to another local donut shop,they have lost my trust in there business.

Nice place said open all day and me and my family wanted doughnuts and they were closed at 11:15 so they lied. So not nice I would recommend that you call a head so you know if it worth going

Have tried to go here a couple times. Despite that they say they are open , the hours seem to be negotiable by the staff. Closed today (Friday) at 11, staff said not open again until 4! Heard good things, can't seem to try them... 😕

The cinnamon rolls are the worse in the county. They appear to be day olds, with little to no cinnamon or glaze.

Pre-COVID, this was one of the best donut shops I’ve ever been to, but it hasn’t been the same afterwards. My brother and I have both tried it again several times in hope of a good donut, but are disappointed every time.

I went to the new Rolling Pin doughnuts in Ventura on September 1st 2024 and was the only customer there around 1pm and such a team of rude employees. I will never go back. I stood at the counter for five minutes while the four employees behind the counter totally ignored me. Didn’t say hello or may I help you. Nothing. They just chattered with each other. I finally said I guess you don’t care about me ordering so bye. There was a lady walking in at the time I was leaving and told her I hope they don’t ignore you like they did me . There are other really good doughnut shops around and would rather drive a little further just to be treated with respect than these four employees who could care less.

The donuts are great but the arrogance and attitude from the heavy set gentleman taking your order is unacceptable. He should not be allowed near customers. Please get someone else up front.

Glad you guys are busy and all but your location is way too small for all the idiots half asleep coming in to get donuts all evening long. most of them making abrupt turns almost creating accidents.. Maybe consider a new store that's not literally right off of a main BUSY road just a thought for you OWNER . . . . . . . . .

I have been to your location 5 times in the past week and a half and each time there are no plain glazed doughnuts left. I don’t know if you need to plan better or make more as the day goes on, but 5 different visits at various hours of the day and no just plain glazed doughnuts.

Honestly if I could rage this place a 0 I definitely would. The last couple times I’ve been here the customer service has been the worse. Today a white male decided to be very rude and complaint about me not wanting a jelly filled donut. I asked him for a regular chocolate sprinkle instead of the jelly one. He proceeded to make rude comments about me not wanting the jelly filled donut, when I had payed extra for the jelly filled and just asked for it to be swapped with a chocolate sprinkle. I don’t like leaving reviews but today I had to. I will not be disrespected by these employees especially in front of other paying customers. That’s why I don’t go here because of the nasty customer service.

My husband went by today because he loves the tiger tails. He asked for two and a chocolate donut. The person who worked there picked tiger tails from a day ago, in the back, instead of giving him fresh donuts. He could taste how old it was and when he brought it home, without him even telling me, I could tell the donuts were not fresh. This is one of the reasons I no longer enjoy coming here. You need to do better. Handing someone old donuts is not ok. It can be tasted believe it or not.

It becomes very expensive and donuts size are shrinking. They got big headed and lost their good services and quality. Tune to looked fir a level headed donut shop.

Went on their website, saw they advertise 12 hour notice for placing orders. When I called to place my order I was told that their policy is 24 hours. Why don’t you just update your website? lol what’s the point of using a system like Toast if you can’t even set it up properly.

Just had a horrible experience here. The employees obviously have zero customer service training. We were not expecting this as we are return customers having spent alot of money here in the past. The young guys taking orders were both trying to complete the same tasks at separate windows. One guy was rudely confused that we were only getting 1/2 dozen of donuts and made an issue about changing the box. Like it was our fault. They took their time heating up the croissant. We had to remind them to heat it up. They had snotty remarks about us being there at all. It was an unusual experience. I do not recommend. The donuts are nothing exceptional. They are available. We will not be returning unless bribed.

I used to like this donut shop but lately this guy handling donuts are getting disgusting and disrespectful. He’s unsanitary! Like literally touching my donuts? Seriously? Im watching him pick up my donuts with the paper but still his bare fingers still touching all my donuts! Never going back again until they change this guy! Yuck! I ended up throwing my donuts after paying since i just processed what I saw.. i gave him plenty of chances before giving this review! He’s not fit to be handling food forreals!
