Very close to Legoland and easy parking since it’s inside the mall. The food was delicious and healthy, and the staff were kind and friendly. A great spot after a fun day at Legoland—highly recommend!

Stopped here before some shopping at the outlet stores & so glad I did. The chicken Katsu was one of the best I've had since being in Japan. The tempura was perfect & the miso soup was good. My daughter also loved the salmon & rice plate. The staff was super courteous.

Needed a quick bite while we were at the outlets, food was fast, pretty healthy and tasted good. Service was very friendly and helpful. Recommend if you need a counter service restaurant.

My mom dropped the plate as she was bringing it to the table, but they just cooked the food again for us without making us pay again! The staff were all very professional and kind, cleaning up the floor so quick and checking if my mom was ok. This was our second time here, and the food is always great with good portions at an affordable price! Highly recommend this place!!

Amazing food! SERVICE was top tier. The tempura is amazing. Loved how I had the choice of chicken breast since I don't like thigh meat. Teriyaki sauce amazing. Hubby had soup which he loved. My plate had Teriyaki chicken, rice, vegetables and tempura. Yummy and amazing food. Would highly recommend!

We ordered the combo California roll and teriyaki chicken and it came with miso soup, white rice and a salad, an Asian chicken salad and the salmon bowl and it came with our choice of salad or miso soup, I chose miso. All of the food we ordered was delicious, staff and service was friendly and accommodating.

Act of kindness and respect. My husband is a Vietnam vet. We ordered our food at the counter. We didn’t notice the placard at the counter saying “ we give discounts to vets”. Our number was called and we went to the counter, paid and brought the delicious Japanese food to our table. I asked Buddy, did you get your discount? He was unaware. We inquired about it mid meal. They offered to re-ring our tab. We said don’t bother, we’ll get you next time. The owner or manager not sure who he was didn’t let it go. He noticed we were drinking water with our meal. He came over with bottled water and said this is for you. We honor all veterans. Thank you for your service. It really touched our hearts. Made our day. Not to mention the food was excellent and fresh

I can honestly say this was the best poke bowl I've ever had. Normally, most places offer a half rice, half salad option, but here you have to choose one. You can choose either tuna or salmon. I asked if I could do half and half, and they said yes — it cost $1.50 extra, which was no problem. Everything was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and rich. Truly impressive!

Had a nice, easy meal at Mot’to Japanese Grill. The food was decent and hit the spot, and the place was clean and comfortable. The staff were welcoming and friendly, which made the experience better overall.

The salad and seafood were fresh the teriyaki shrimp and chicken were cooked perfectly. I would drive the 65 miles from Anaheim to Carlsbad to eat there again.

This was way better than I had expected upon walking in. The spicy pork was spicy and it really didn't look great, but I was very happy with it (and I don't usually like ... well food). The miso was hot and salty and had generous large chunks of tofu, but was pre-made, so the seaweed could not be removed for my kids (not a big deal, just a note). The Katsu was great without sauce, crispy panko and moist chicken, however the sauce was a little too smokey for me (the kids all were happy with it sin salsa anyway). My wife ordered some sushi and larger portions were provided than she had expected and we left quite satisfied. I think the chicken Katsu with the spicy sauce from the pork would have been a great combo. If we make it back to a popular building-brick-themed amusement park in the area, this will be our after-park dinner again I am sure!

Random find at the outlet but we got hungry after doing some shopping! It's located on the corner near underarmour. It took us a while to decide, the menu was quite hectic. They had different combos and sushi items. I went with the salmon and CA roll combo. It comes with a side salad of your choice. There were 4 options and it comes with miso soup. The salmon was glazed with teriyaki and came with a side of rice. The rolls were good very generic. Honestly for a quick meal I wasn't mad about it. Out of all the options this was probably the best food spot next to Blaze Pizza.

Chicken and Cali Roll - 3/5 Cucumber Salad - fresh veggies, well seasoned and dressing was balanced. 5/5 Combo Bento (Steak with Cali Roll) - I wish the steak is more tender. Lacks seasoning. 3/5 Asian Coleslaw - fresh ingredients and tasty dressing. 5/5 Spot to get lunch while shopping. I’ll comeback for their salads and great customer service!

The rice is never cooked properly, and the fish quality is nothing to brag about. Wait times are long, San Diego has weird foot traffic, and so do shopping malls, but I've never just walked in here and gotten my food. I've since stopped going.
