This place is so good!!! Got the breakfast burrito, delicious! Friendly people working here & nice covered patio to eat on. Bathrooms too if you need it.

I'm not from here, just here for work. I tried this spot and it has great food tasty in flavor. I came with 4 people, they all got different plates, and all said was GOOD! I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

Breakfast burritos are pretty good. 22 bucks for 2 and a Mexican Coca-Cola which seems like a fair deal for me. Definitely recommend

I was so surprised! This little gem is fantastic! It's hard to find a vegetarian burrito with flavor, but this place nailed it! It was just right amount of spice and flavor. The horchata was great as well. I wish I lived in Chico so I could go here more often. The service was quick and friendly. The bathroom was perfectly clean. If you need a quick bite and are craving Mexican this is the place to go!

Some of the BEST Mexican food I’ve had in California. The meat was tender, full of flavor, and generous in portions. Fast and friendly service and every customer had smiles on their faces. I definitely recommend this place to everyone thank you Taqueria Pinolera!!

Atmosphere - It is what it needs to be to get you food. An ordering window and concrete. You can eat outside, but it's best to get your order to go Food quality and portions are great for the price, and this is the taqueria I go to the most. It's helpful if you speak Spanish for any order modifications, or even pull up your request through Google translate, the staff is always friendly and accommodating about it. For those who prefer grilled burritos, you can order any burrito "dorado" and they'll serve it to you with a beautifully crispy tortilla. I haven't ever ordered meat here, so my review is based on their vegetarian burrito, veggie tacos, huevos rancheros, and breakfast burrito a la Mexicana. Every one of these items is consistently tasty. Nothing fancy or super special, but just comforting and solid. Adding guacamole to an order usually just means that they add a small plastic container of guacamole to your bag, so be prepared for that, though it will sometimes be incorporated into your burrito if a burrito is what you ordered. I would wish they gave out more salsa with their meals, and that they didn't use Styrofoam plates, but those are really my only complaints, and the salsa thing is easily remedied by ordering extra sides of salsa. There are a couple tables with benches outside by the ordering window, and a tiny parking lot in the back.

For years, I’ve been searching Chico for the best breakfast burrito. To date, Taqueria Pinolera holds the honor. Burritos are hefty, but their prices are not. Staff is friendly. I only wish they answered their phone more consistently.

Ordered breakfast burritos for the crew at work. I watched them making them and everything was homemade. She poured the rice and beans out of a large frying pan. The food was fantastic. I highly recommend this place for authentic Mexican food!

It's good! Priced fairly given the portion sizes, and very tasty. I think it is an exceptional option, but not my favorite. I won't get too deep into the particulars, but I think the ingredients could have been better distributed in my burrito and that the carnitas had too much fat rendered out. I'll visit again, regardless 🙂

I would give this place a 0 if I could. My first breakfast burrito, sausage and bacon was COVERED in oil! It was so bad to the point were it leaked out of the bag and got all over my car and hands! Disgusting! Then I go back for them to remake it and all that was in my burrito was bacon and a TON of sour cream. No potatoes! No beans! Nada. On top of it the lady was very rude. Never coming here again. Do better. Serve people what you would eat.

I go here all the time an the main lady always has the worst attitude towards me I thought maybe a bad day but no its every single time. An when I ask for no beans she makes my 12 dollar burrito small as she can. I highly recommend eating elsewhere for better polite service with better portions even when an item isn't wanted.
