We got the honey iced latte, rainbow bagel, and a chocolate chip cookie. The employees were very friendly and service was fast. I own a coffee shop/bakery in another town that roasts our own beans so am very picky about my lattes and baked goods. Most of the time I end up disappointed when I go to other cafes but not this time. Everything was amazing! Can’t wait until my daughter has another game up in Cicero so I have an excuse to come back.

Great coffee shop with an industrial like feel. The atmosphere has a warm industrial feel with some hints of leather, wood, and plants. Coffee is great!

Today was my first time here. This is a very nice local coffee shop located on one of the main roads in Cicero at the intersection of Jackson St and Byron St. Parking is not an issue; there are plenty of free parking spots along Jackson St and Byron St. In addition to serving very high quality coffee, the layout of the coffee shop itself is well thought out and comfortable. The restaurant is very clean and presentable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dark Side Coffee House easily competes with local coffee shops in other cities. I highly recommend this shop.

My husband ordered the cutest bouquets and lattes gift for Valentines Day! The latte was delicious, and it was such a cute idea!

Stopped by Darkside roasters while visiting from out of town. Great little coffee shop. I had one of thier seasonal Latte's. The drink was very tasty not to mention the friendly staff. The coffee shop was clean and well organized. I would say if your in the area and have not tried Darkside. Stop in and give them a try. You will not regret it and you will be supporting a local business. ☕👍

Love this cute little Star Wars themed coffee shop. Coffees are great, they always have fun seasonal drinks and the food/desserts are delicious.

Everything is perfect except their efficiency . The desk needs to be stretched to the window and remove that couch like an assembly line out the door . Stage one order and pay , move to the left pick out pastry/skip to coffee station to wait and it'll flow between not just a bunch of orders piling up around the cashier . Other than that I LOVE this place

These guys really know what they're doing. The roast is consistent and fresh, and nothing beats a well dialed in espresso! They measure their ingredients precisely with each drink and use thermometers instead of "hot to the touch" to make sure their drinks are consistent each time. Their foods are amazing! Almost completely made in house and fresh! I make it a point to go here every time I visit Cicero. You should too!

Additionally, Darkside engages well in the community! They truly care about serving the community and making it better!

I have been a long time customer of Dark Side Roasters. I was thrilled when they opened the Coffee House. I try and go there whenever I'm in town. The owners are so nice. The coffee is great! They've introduced a lot of variety in the eatery-part, too. The only downside is I wish I lived closer!

My husband and I are huge fans! We love supporting local family business and are business owners ourselves. The shop is adorable and such a great location. Lots of options and something for everyone. I wish more people supported local coffee shops like this over the big chains, which helps their community.

LOVE this place, just wish they'd get better cups for iced drinks! Lids fall off so easily.

We love Dark Side! Their staff is always so friendly and I love being able to pick up gallons of their cold brew to-go and have it at home. Love the rotation of yummy treats and seasonal drinks. Our kids love being able to pick out a cake pop on occasion or having breakfast dates before school.

Dark Side Coffee House is not only a beautiful atmosphere but always has the most friendly baristas and staff. Their facility is clean and welcoming. The best part is I’ve never had a drink or food item I haven’t absolutely loved! Dark Side Coffee House is the best!!!!

Very cute & super friendly staff! Cold brew wasn’t as strong as I would have liked, but flavor was good. Price was average - 5 and some change for a 20 oz. Definitely give this place a visit if you are in the area.

I’ve rated food low to include their coffee offerings, not to criticize the baked goods. I often wish they had for-here dishes & service that offers water with your coffee if you’re seated to drink & study. Though candidly, there isn’t much space for peace for loitering inside the cafe. I’m aware that not all cafes are focused on espresso quality and technique, but I’ve also felt that their drinks leave much to be desired if you’re seeking a coffee-forward beverage. Their flavor options are delicious and balanced but ordering a plain latte or cortado will get you a bubbly, sour drink. Baristas should be trained to steam milk to the texture of wet paint or melted ice cream, as adding air is intended to affect the proteins in a way that sweetens the milk flavor and enhances the experience. They did not provide a well-balanced coffee-forward smooth taste. Overall, I recommend for families or sweet lovers but not a coffee snob.

Coffee taste is pretty basic, I've never had a drink that was amazing. But they're good enough to go back because it's in a great spot. Their food is way more affordable than most coffee places. Cute little spot!
