I gifted my mom two brunch vouchers, and she absolutely loved it! She said the food was great, the ambiance was wonderful, and most of all, she loved the service. Her waiter, Antonio, was so personable and always there when needed. We definitely recommend the brunch!

The atmosphere here is really nice and we enjoyed just sitting and talking. But everything was also very good! Great service first of all. We had the combo fajitas and they lit em up tableside. Usually don’t go for steak fajitas but these were so good. Shrimp chicken and steak! And plenty of margaritas. Which come out fast btw.

Came here unexpectedly on a Saturday night and wow what a surprise! We live where we have lots of Mexican options so we can picky and this place matches the best (we live in Coachella valley). It’s surprising that it was quiet on a Saturday night (perhaps the atmospheric river kept people inside) but from the appetizers to dinner and service everything exceeded our expectations. Chips were warm crispy and thin and delish! The guacamole was chunky and pleasant. The ceviche could’ve had more fish but pleasant and vegetables were fresh and crisp to the bite. The wet burrito was too much for our 16yo birthday girl. The carnitas were YUMMY, steak fajitas left my wife speechless and they even brought a flan and sang a birthday song for our birthday girl♥️. It was excellent service and care and we felt like family cared for us.

I ordered a catering order for about 10ppl here really last minute (less than 2hrs in advance) and this place came through with no mishaps! They were really friendly and helped me load my order into my car and the food was delicious! Everyone in the office loved it. Thank you all so so much!

Absolutely amazing. Eric and Jose were phenomenal bar tenders/servers. The lunch buffet is incredible. Pozole, menudo, ceviche, mole! Ton of stuff you'd never think of for a lunch buffet, let alone a Sunday brunch. For $17 this is probably the best value in all of claremont, let alone IE. Not to mention $5 margaritas with the buffet and a killer cocktail list as well. Huge mezcal selection. Please come and check these guys out. One of the hidden gems in claremont.

Went today with my little family to celebrate my brother‘s birthday, The buffet was so good tacos meat rice beans everything in that buffet was so good. Me and my lovely little family would definitely return for the buffet so good All you can eat!!!! 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Excellent food, and Tiffany was so nice. We didn't want beans with our dishes, and we were offered vegetables instead. Everything was perfectly balanced, the spices just right, and the meat melted in our mouths. The portions were huge. We wanted to enjoy a Valentine's dinner ahead of time to avoid the crowds. The music was muted, and there were just enough people.

Tasty food with a fantastic patio, very worth a checking out. Tuesdays they have Taco Tuesday deals (pictured), and the rest of the week amazing entrees and drinks. I'd say more but I think a pictures is worth a thousand words. So here's 3000 words. *Update* They now have a wonderful lunch menu! Great deals, same great food! *Second Update* Taco Tuesdays they have a build your own taco bar with 3 dollar tacos!

Went for breakfast and did the morning brunch. All the food was tasty. Wife had the sausage, didn't like it but other than that little snag the food was good. Had homemade corn tortillas, excellent. Pozole was delicious. Definitely going back.

Pleasantly surprised, buffet lunch, $5.00 margaritas which cost more than my lunch. Friendly and respectful services. Not your typical low end buffet food offering. They even had menudo and pozole for soup offerings. Excellent menudo by the way.

I've been eyeing this place for awhile now. The two things that kept me from trying it sooner was my schedule and the distance I had to travel to get there. I usually find new places while I'm out and about and this one was a little off my usual travel. So I finally decided to go there even though my invited guests couldn't make it. It wasn't too difficult to find but it's not viewable from the street. After I parked the car, I crossed the street and walked to where the address indicated. I saw a small sign that pointed me in the right direction, which was inside to a walkway that led to a little plaza of sorts. Sure enough, it was there along with other stores there. So I walked in and was greeted immediately, that was nice. I let the young lady know this was my first time there. The place is very nice and spacious. A gentleman came and said hello and sat me down at the table I had asked for. I hit it off with him right away and we had a nice conversation. He was very patient and answered every question I asked, being my first time and all. After he set me up with what I needed, I first looked at the variety of meats and sides they had. Did I mention I was there for Taco Tuesday? So I got in line, handed over my ticket, which indicates how many tacos you're ordering, and the nice lady makes fresh tortillas right in front of you for your tacos. Nice. She then asks you what kind of meats you want on your tacos and hands you your plate. From there you can add any toppings to your tacos, plus, they have potatoes, beans and other sides that you can serve yourself. I did enjoy the tacos and the conversation I had with the people I met. My plan is to go again but on a Saturday for their breakfast buffet. Hopefully my friend can make it this time.

Food is good! Come early if possible. Our reservation was at 12. Didn't get seated till about 12:35-40. When we did head over to the buffet most of the plates were empty waiting to be refilled. The omelet bar also had low amounts of stock cheese salsa whatever. The ice cream was empty, but refilled quickly once asked. The buffed is over at 2pm.

We made Reservations for Valentines a week in advance for this place. The service was horrible from the start. The server had no communication skills & seems like she didn’t know what she was doing or knew anything on the menu. We waited a hour just to get any type of food or appetizers then waited for a while to even get utensils to eat our food. It got so bad we ask for a manager but never came. Horrible experience won’t be back & don’t recommend to anybody. The food was cold. They brought us hard sope & desert was bad.

Owner's wife appears racist. She was very polite over the phone, but when she figured out I am Caucasian with my Mexican husband, she became very unprofessional and rude. She also did this to my best friend who is also non-hispanic with a Mexican husband. She denied them both refills when they dined in the restaurant. We purchased the Thanksgiving dinner, which was beyond disappointing. The turkey was undercooked and the sides were mediocre at best. We would've been better off getting a meal from Knotts Berry Farm. At least their food tastes like an authentic Thanksgiving meal. We were going to give them another chance with their buffet, but when I heard that the owner's wife is consistent with the racism and unprofessionalism, we opted to spend our money elsewhere. Just know that if the staff is being shady with you by refusing to refill your drinks, giving an unprofessional attitude, etc., it may be due to some sort of discriminatory or racists reasoning. Please do better when the community has given you so much business.

Unfortunately, our experience at Casa Maguey was extremely disappointing. When my boyfriend and I walked in, no one greeted us. We stood at the front door for a few minutes before finally having to stick our heads in just to get someone’s attention. We were eventually seated outside, given menus, and then completely ignored. Our waiter never returned to take our drink order or check if we were ready to order. After waiting several more minutes, a small group that arrived after us was immediately helped while we continued to be overlooked. With how slow the restaurant appeared to be, there was absolutely no excuse for this level of neglect. We ended up leaving without ever being served. Very disappointing experience.

The server with red hair needs to do way better Quite literally the slowest service ever and it sucks because I actually liked the tacos we got. The rice is 100% the same one they sell at Costco (I know because I buy it frequently). They seated another table about 15 minutes after us, and those people got their food before our server even came around to take our order or check on us and finished their food before we were even close to getting ours. It took her 30 minutes just to take our order, and then we waited another 40 minutes for our food. It wasn’t even that busy, and we barely saw her. I’m pretty sure she was just in the back doing nothing. Other tables around us were clearly getting annoyed too. And of course, as soon as we started showing we were frustrated, she finally came out with our food. She never checked in on us, didn’t offer refills, and we had to ask for extra chips and salsa three times because she kept forgetting. We were so hungry that by the time the food finally came, we’d filled up on chips and didn’t even have an appetite anymore. She didn’t bother asking if we wanted another beer, and it was actually the other servers who refilled our waters. Just ridiculous. There are several other restaurants in the area that actually care about their customers. After all that, the bill was $70 for three people — for Costco rice, cold chicken, no water refills, and the worst service. Take your money elsewhere.

This was one of the strangest dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food itself was great-hot, fresh, and flavorful-but the service brought the entire experience down to 1 star. We were a party of 20 with a reservation made days in advance. We arrived at 5:45pm. Our drink orders weren’t taken until 6:00, which was fine as we were still getting settled. But then, things fell apart: • My glass of wine didn’t arrive until 45 minutes later, while other cocktails trickled out after 30 minutes. • When I politely asked about my wine, I was treated as if I was being unreasonable. • Our food order wasn’t taken until almost another 30 minutes later, and only after we flagged down our server. The process felt rushed and careless, with no apologies for the delays. • Meals arrived in 15–20 minute intervals, so half the table was eating while the rest were still waiting. Staff repeatedly asked people what they had ordered-sometimes 3 or 4 times. • When we began to express our frustration, the wait staff actually tried to guilt us into not complaining. It was surreal. By this point, we had been sitting there for two hours with little service, and only then did water finally start being refilled. Suddenly the server was at our table every 10 minutes, which only made the earlier neglect feel worse. Again, the food itself was excellent, but the service was so disorganized, dismissive, and even guilt-inducing that it completely ruined the experience. I understand staffing issues happen, but this was beyond that—it felt like we were treated as an inconvenience for showing up. Unfortunately, I cannot see myself returning.

Easter brunch, overbooked, jammed you on a patio where you can barely get in and out, told us they only have tables for our size outside but inside you see tables our size. Cups were dirty, bowls dirty, plates running out and pancakes were burnt, hair inside napkins. Made us wait a while for our reservation and forgot about us. Not a good experience. First time trying and looked promising but will never come back it was just a ruined breakfast.
