All I'm going to say is AWESOME

I just moved into the area and decided to give this place a shot. We went for lunch and the food was excellent. There's a great selection and the service was wonderful!

The last 3 times I have been there, everyone at the table had a great meal. I had the porkchop and it was very good. Recommended!

Service was outstanding and the food was beyond amazing. We will definitely be going back.

We had a small baby shower. They were very nice and accommodating! They even set aside a table they could have used for more diners as a gift table for us. Everyone loved their food too!

Gertie’s never disappoints. Whether we are out for a quiet meal or meeting up with others for a drink between ball games, we are always met with great staff and even better service. It’s a hidden gem in Clarence Center.

Delicious food, expertly cooked to perfection. Plenty of options to choose from, such as lobster, lobster tail, pork chop, filet mignon, NY strip steak, chicken, pasta. I got the filet mignon and was very pleased. The average price per person, I would say you should expect to pay $50, and it's well worth it. The servers were very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, and very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place

Food is out of this world. One of us had Salmon with sauce and I had lightly breaded fish. Both were delicious. Greeted upon entering and server was very friendly. Will definitely return.

We went for Easter Brunch, The menu was great, the food for all 4 of us was wonderful and the servers were top notch as always! We will be going back for Mother's Day Brunch!

The few people that live here are very lucky and spoiled because the quality, service, range of drinks, and prices were all 5 stars. What a great place for a week day business meal too.. if you are working anywhere around this town, plan a business dinner here, you'll be very happy as will your business.

Everythinf was really good but the highlight was the nice 2 serving size slice of fresh key lime pie. Th crust was super thick and it had the perfect combination of Tartness and Sweetness. I had to order one to go because my daughters devoured through yhe 2 slices which was abour a half of Pie..I would say this is probably the best key lime pie in Western Pie in Western NY right now. The owner came to say hello and the waitress was friendly and attentive. If you haven't tried Gertie's it is worth the trip. We went around 8 pm and it was pretty quiet. Awesome overall experience. Please at least try the key lime pie to go if your passing. You wont be disappointed!!!

Food was excellent. It is a bit pricey, especially the cost of bottles and glasses of wine. Used to be able to get a bottle of red wine for less than $34, not anymore on a weekend. Pork chops and filets were to die for!

The food was good, however, I would have expected a more sophisticated menu to match the prices. The burger was $17. The round pizza was a kids pizza The oval pizza was the Chicago pizza. The Chicago pizza was good but I was expecting a deep dish type pizza. The lemon meringue pie was very good.

Very good food. Good service until it got a little busier. We had haddock dinner and the ladies loved it. I had the filet duet and my medium filets were done perfectly - pink not red. Prices were the only drawback. A little pricey we thought.

Overall, Gertie's provides a solid meal in a comfortable setting, making it a good choice for a pleasant dining experience.

Did the Valentine's day thing here. Not too fancy, but a nice atmosphere. Food was good and quick. Waitress was awesome. 9/ 10 would recommend

Food was okay this time but have had better here and the service was slow, waited 20 minutes before having our order taken. Was a bit disappointed having brought family from out of town.

Drinks were weak and full of ice. The place is very very loud. For those two things I would rate it a two, but the food is awesome, I give that a five. Evan desert is a five. Would I go back again, yes. If I could rate a 3.5 I would.

Ambience and outdoor patio was nice on a summer night. We did not eat there but food looked and smelled good. Dishes we saw coming from the kitchen seemed to be on the smaller end portion-wise for the prices they are charging .. however, probably appropriate for the location in Clarence Center. The bartender was also inconsistent on charging for drinks.. first round for 4 drinks was $28 and the next for same drink orders was $48?? When we mentioned she was going to comp the drinks until the manager/owner maybe came over and then charged us $19 for only 3 drinks?? No detailed receipt either so not sure what she was even charging for. Probably won't go back due to prices and inconsistency.

When I ordered it I was told they “were all out”. I questioned how this could be possible since it was only 7pm. Finally the waitress admitted that they “weren’t serving it “ that evening, even though it was on the menu. The dinner I did have was alright, just not what I was looking forward to. I won’t be in a hurry to go back there.

They forgot to add the shrimp. So they gave her a complimentary glass of wine.( She was really hoping for the shrimp in, her meal. ) My dinner was a burger cooked medium with homemade chips They didn't let it rest, so my roll and plate were covered in juices. It was a messy eat. For $18 bucks I expected better than a messy burger and potato chips. There is no parking lot and we parked on the street. The neighbors were not so accommodating, as they did not bother to shovel the side walk. It was icy and we walked like a penguin It's very likely I won't return.

2nd time at this place and a 2nd time we were disappointed. The appetizers and bread were great but when we received the entrees, the Lamb Chops (medium) and the Black and Blue strip steak (medium-rare), both were overdone. While we could handle the inconsistencies in the lamb, the steak was well-done and I had to send it back. After helping my wife finish her meal, we received a new steak (still medium but better than well done). But the worst part for us was that there wasn't much effort to correct the situation. Sure, we got a new steak, but after ordering a bottle of wine and 2 appetizers along with our entrees, I assumed something more would be done. Unfortunately, nothing more was done and we received the full bill. We did see the chef come out later in the night to a table next to us and have a lovely conversation about the care he takes with his food. Unfortunately, this care was not extended to our meal that night. We will not be going to this establishment again and if you choose to go, I suggest that you stay away from the red meat. The first time (a few years back) they forgot the individual seasonings on the dual filets.....

Not very impressed ordered stuffed peppers were horrible and two other items cost was 60.00 and food below standard never again.

Avoid Gertie's. Expensive, mediocre food and lousy service. I have tried Gertie's several times and the results are always the same. I read gushing reviews, but have not had the same experience and live close enough to walk.

First time “almost customer”...My husband and I made reservations for our anniversary, to my surprise when we arrived near by, Clarence was having some type of festival. The girl on the phone never informed us that anything was going on and that parking would be a good 3-4 blocks from the restaurant. Normally that wouldn’t be a problem but having recent back surgery my gait is impaired. Then when we arrived and sat down at our table, the waitress, who was the best part of our short visit, informed us that they were serving only a special limited German menu and were out of several items. Just wish that someone would have informed us of these two things before we drove over 40 minutes to get there. I understand that the festival was moved from Friday to Saturday last minute but I had made reservations that day and nothing was said about either incident. Maybe I can someday convince my husband to give this place another shot since we have heard nothing but good things... for now we must settle for take out pizza.

Was not impressed with presentation, menu stated incorrect information on sides and when selecting after chasing waitress around she the choice was up-charges. Salad supposedly was only side but after waiting 10 min salad was not forthcoming. Asked for separate checks did not get. Atmosphere very rushed and uncomfortable will never return and will inform others of experience, chicken salad sandwich fell apart with hardly any chicken salad told waitress and she said yes they fall apart , laughed and walked away☹️ They were not busy, no excuses. I would give no stars to be honest!!!!!

Great food! However, owners need to cover some basic customer service skills for front line server staff. Being greeted with a smile is paramount....a genuine smile. We picked this spot for father's day and sadly what should have been a fun memorable time was SO lackluster. We were seated and did not receive any attention for at least 20 minutes. The server who was supposed serve us was suddenly changed and we had a new server who was just a "matter of fact". Could be a level of uncomfort that we are colored? Definitely will NOT return or recommend.

Went to Gertie’s for a second time after being disappointed first visit. Margherita pizza dry and tasteless, beet salad not fresh, and 2 entrees sub par. The price far far exceeded the quality of the food. There will not be a third visit.

We decided to check out Gertie’s at random and were led there by the good reviews. The food, however, was quite disappointing. We tried ordering an appetizer but the waitress informed us that the fryer would take 20 mins to heat up and so we she won’t be serving the calamari after already having waited several minutes. I didn’t mind waiting the 20 mins but was never given the choice. We ended up ordering the quiche special and a smash burger. The quiche was tiny and watery. Nothing like runny quiche to ruin brunch. The burger was cooked perfect but for the price was very underwhelming. I do commend the staff for being professional, however, much work is needed with the menu to make customers feel they are getting their money and time’s worth.
