Love the area of this restaurant. The view is amazing especially outside. The burgers were delicious and they had veggie options for my wife!
We stumbled upon this place one night and decided to try it. The staff are great, and the vegetarian burger was amazing! Will definitely go back!
Was there for a post work cocktail hour a month ago and the food and service were great. Fun atmosphere. Craving a good salad and was suggested to order the Cobb from here, and I was so happy I listened. The fact they wrapped the steak to preserve the temperature of both the steak and salad let me know this salad was going to be good before I took my first bite. Highly recommend.
Looking for a fresh burger and delicious fries? This is the perfect place. Also the location is awesome. Its inside the nokia campus with lots of green grass, water park and walk area. Its new the burger chain and taste perfectly. Its juicy and tasty. You can try it and compare it to other burger chain. Its highly recommended in this area.
In at 530pm already a crowd. Open concept some tables seat 8. Outside seating as well on the lake. Known for burgers. I had the wonderful blue goat, blue cheese slaw with blue crumbles plus. Neighbor had a plate of fries with a surprise, looked amazing . Bartender and staff very engaging. Recommend highly.
Great place for a group outing. Staff was amazing. Our server was attentive, personable and enthusiastic. She wasn't overwhelmed by the size of our group and others servers did a great job of assisting her. The hamburgers and sweet potato fries were delicious. The queso and chips were really good. The ginger beer was yummy. Definitely will visit again
Great service from our server Chris. He was on top of everything! Great burgers (I had a grilled jalapeño with cheddar cheese and my husband had their Ranch burger. And they have the best cookies and cream milkshake I’ve ever had. They do not skimp out on the cookies. This location is in a nice and scenic area. I look forward to going back again soon.
Perfectly done burgers cooked exceptionally well. Love the contests and unique choices. The bar service is top tier as well. Great place. Definitely coming back.
The burger and sweet potato fries were KILLER. It hit the spot and the milkshake was very delightful. They had some pretty large groups come in after I sat down however the service was still fantastic and timely.
Rodeo Goat was a great restaurant set in a newer development area. They have a great outside patio. We started sitting outside but realized we were not ready for the Texas summer heat so we moved inside! I had the Bodacious Burger. The burger had great flavor and was filling. It isn’t very spicy even with the jalapeños. I also had the chips and queso. The chips and queso were great but don’t plan on eating them alone. It’s a great app for a group of people. The green sauce that comes with the chips is spicy and not guacamole (the look is deceiving 😂). Brittani was our server. She recommended all the food I ordered. All of it was excellent. The waitress was very charismatic and did a great job building rapport. She gave us recommendations for the city since we were in Texas for work. Highly recommend this place!
Bodacious, that’s the name of the burger in that photo. I have been to this place a few times and I always gravitate toward that selection, this place however, has a lot of options and the cool thing is you can customize your burger. During certain seasons, you’ll see ducks and ducklings swimming on the lake behind the place. The cool breeze on there patio when the weather agrees make this place one of my favorite in the area.
From start to finish, Rodeo Goat was a five-star experience for a burger joint. We were seated immediately and within moments, our waitress Emily got our beverage order. We ordered the brisket chili fries and a bowl of brisket chili for our appetizers. They were both absolutely outstanding; the portions were huge and the quality was fantastic. The most difficult part of the night was picking the sandwiches as they had over a dozen sandwiches that all sounded incredible. We split the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich and the Bodacious burger. They were both home runs. thought for sure they would’ve been smaller sandwiches just based on the price, boy was I wrong! We also ordered the jalapeño cheddar tater tots. I They were both amply sized and we couldn’t finish. I wish we’d had ordered less so we’d have room for milkshakes. We will definitely be back!
This place is incredible! Best burgers in Dallas-Fort Worth & by far the best Rodeo Goat location. The food is top notch, the service is fantastic (shout out to Jacob!), and the location couldn’t be more perfect! Well done, Rodeo Goat!
We had a party of 10 that were served in a timely manner and the order was correct. The burgers were good and the salads were fresh. The sweet potato fries were great.
Rodeo Goat is a great place for specialty burgers. I'm usually disappointed in specialty burgers so I go for a classic, but the hot bastard sounded too good not to cry. I have dreams about it before bed. Our server was also attentive but not pushy. I don't drink, but the bar and overall ambience make it seem like a fun place to be for that. You could bring your family here to eat, or a drinking buddy and you'd fit in either way.
The atmosphere here is pretty cool. There's outdoor seating with a lake view. We started with a cheese fry surprise that was great. Then onto entrees. I usually get one of the burger battle options I haven't been disappointed yet. I definitely recommend. Update Still Five ⭐ all the way around.
Rodeo Goat is AMAZING! My husband and I heard about it and decided to try it on a date night. BOY were we in for a TREAT. Our server was SO friendly and so willing to give us menu recommendations and overall great service! The food is hands down some of the best food you can get in North Texas. Great burgers, great fries, and even greater brisket chili. Rodeo Goat is always an option when considering date night for us now!
This place is a lot of fun and they have great burgers and a good beer selection. We are true foodies and this is the best burger in the area. Look no further! The super casual interior has a good vibe overall. We especially love the patio area overlooking the blue green lake which is a rather decent size. Another great feature is they are within listening distance of local concerts that often play nearby at the Roger’s-O’Brien Amphitheater. You'll need to get there early as all the patios packed out when a band plays there. After a good meal, you can walk around the as there are sidewalks next to the lake that wind around quite a bit. You’ll get in a good walk to get rid of those calories.
Really good joint for quality burgers overall! I recommend the area to anyone around and wanting something both quality and scenic. It's a first come, first serve ordeal where you have to find a seat before someone else takes it-- and it can get PACKED! The bar was open, and they definitely specialized in the drinks. My fav has to be the Dapper Dawn, but the burgers really top it off for a decent meal. The workers here put a lot into their craft, and it shows with their service! It's definitely worth a shot if you're in the area.
Great burger place! First time we’ve been been. I had the Chaca Oaxaca burger which has a patty that is beef and chorizo blended together. Very unique taste! My wife had the black bean burger. Also delicious! Sweet potato fries were good. Fun atmosphere. You seat yourself at any open/cleaned table and a server comes to help you order. Great back patio with water views, but it was too dang hot in August to eat outside. We will definitely be back for more!
This restaurant has amazing burgers. I chose to get a classic burger patty on their monthly special, The Sundance Kid. I would never have combined strawberry chutney and a bacon cheeseburger, but it not only worked, it was delicious! Highly recommend the food. The waitstaff was quick and pleasant. In cooler weather, their outdoor space would be great to have a milkshake and look over the water.
Maricarmen was great. Helped us with the menu and with the ordering. We sat out on the patio by the water, it was beautiful. The sweet Burger was awesome! The jalapeno jelly was the bomb. They even have an area out front to play yard games. Would be great for a group of people to go.
The food here is awesome! The picks are as unique as the atmosphere. Don't be scared! Try something new! The sugar burger was awesome. I know it sounds weird, but do have it with the peaches. The holy senorita was superb. We got the cheese with surprise. Our waiter suggested queso instead of melted cheese. Thanks Joseph great call!
The food was great. I had a hamburger with goat cheese on a gluten free bun! My friend had a hamburger with fried mash-potatoes, onion rings on a bed of lettuce! We sat outside and watched the ducks, fish and turtles swim around in the lake. I'll definitely be going back. Also the service was great!!!
Food is good. Service is usually satifactory but Jeremy is GREAT!!! We don't like eating outdoors but the covered deck usually has a number of people happily ding out there.
One of my girlfriend and I's favorite restaurants in all of DFW. By far the best burgers. I always get the battle burgers to keep it interesting. Great drink selection and location. If you haven't been here, I don't know what you are waiting for. If you are reading this. Stop. Get in your car and enjoy. 💯 Update: Still the BEST spot for burgers and fries. No other place comes close 🔥🔥
Great place to eat and had a GIANT beer/cocktail selection! Located right on a lakeside bay with a beautiful view! To be honest, I liked the McDonald burger more than The Oaxaca but both delivered an awesome taste and a boat load of AMAZING fries!! Also had the Salted Caramel Pretzel shake which was beyond good!!
Great experience at this location! Cute casual spot with great burgers! Keith our server was amazing, funny and very helpful! I wasn’t expecting much from the burgers but when I tell you I was heavenly mistaken at first bite 😭 I loved the contrast of the ingredients in my burger. Everything was cohesive. I got the ranch burger and it wasn’t overpowering. Burgers were juicy. The portions are pretty big (for me at least) and the happy hour which lasts to 7pm was great 😊 Enjoy sitting outside to get a view of the lakefront and ducks! Would definitely recommend this place and will come back when my next burger craving strikes.
Can I give 10 stars? 100? We are big foodies and keep a running list of all the places we want to try all over the region. After trying Rodeo Goat, we took all the other burger places off the list - this is THE spot and I am not kidding. We tried 2 of the burgers, and some drinks, but missed one of the current features, the Evan Grant, so we had to come back the following evening to try that one just to be safe! All 3 burgers that we tried were excellent! The meat is fresh and well seasoned and cooked and generously portioned, and the toppings are above and beyond. The cheese fries were delicious, with plenty of real bacon and cheese and pickled jalapeños, and none of that yellow processed sauce stuff. The beer list has lots of variety, and almost all of the draft beers are local. Decent margarita, as well. We sat outdoors both times - there’s a large patio overlooking the lake with beautiful views. The service was incredibly prompt and friendly and personable. Jeremy was our server the second time and he was super nice, and apologies that I don’t remember his name, but the new guy who was our server the first night was also really nice! 10/10 recommend and will definitely be back with friends and family in the future.
I’ve been to a lot of burger joints, but this one takes the cake. It was staff member Leonardo, who helped me with my order and with my experience even when I had made a mistake he made my experience perfect. this is an establishment to visit. The food is excellent, and the staff cares about customers
Absolutely phenomenal experience at Rodeo Goat Cypress Waters! Our server was incredible—super friendly, attentive, and on point from the moment we sat down. They made us feel totally taken care of without being overbearing, which is a rare and much-appreciated balance. We ordered the Tejano Burger, the Fire Bird, and the Steaming Pile appetizer, and everything came out shockingly fast—like just enough time to sip a cold drink and then boom, hot plates hit the table. The Tejano Burger was packed with flavor and had just the right kick. The Fire Bird was crispy, spicy, and totally addictive. And the Steaming Pile? Easily one of the best shareables we’ve ever had—savory, messy in the best way, and ridiculously satisfying. We’ll absolutely be back. Great food, great service, and a chill atmosphere. Highly recommend!
We have eaten at the Fort Worth location. My husband swears by the Chaka Oaxaca burger. He really loves the flavor of the burger and chorizo together. My daughter had the Bodacious and it had the Royal with no onions. The burgers are very filling. We could only eat half of it and took the other half home. The cheese fries with no surprise and a side of jalapeños. Everything was delicious. We haven’t been disappointed yet and I don’t think we will. This location was very cool because it was off of the North Lake. We sat outside and fed the ducks and huge fish. It was a beautiful view. I highly recommend you trying this location. You get a great burger as well as a great view.
Update. They are still rocking the burgers. We had the nanny goat and the bad hombre. You may want that hot sauce on the side--it is hot. Great service again. Freshly made hamburgers and the best vegan burger I’ve had! The service was amazing. Let’s just say that some times you want someone with experience and our guy Jeremy had that. He was so aware of everyone’s needs. He was observant and funny! He even pulled the bartender over to guide our beer choices. The bartender did great! The location is on a small lake. Beautiful sunset on the spacious patio. The fries are hand cut and you can tell. The only less than stellar showing was the chips and queso. The chorizo and guacamole made it better. It could have used a bit more flavor or more chorizo. It just didn’t have enough kick. It was good, just not great. Fresh buns, amazing toppings.
We love coming here for a burger, surprise fries and a good time. We have always been greeted and waited on by friendly staff. It's never been a disappointing visit. You can swap out beef for chicken on some items, so check them out! Great choices to choose from.
A really nice place right on a little lake. You can eat outside if it's nice. The inside is a great atmosphere, TV's, two levels, high top seating or booths and tables. The burgers are really good! The seasoned fries are also amazing. I had the Billy Gibbons burger. I highly recommend.
I love the location of this restaurant! We were able to feed the fish and see some ducks with the outside seating. The burgers are unique in their own way with the different ingredients they have. Everyone loved their burgers but honestly my favorite was the sweet potato fries. Portions are good! Service was the best I’ve had in a long time, she was very attentive and so nice. 10/10!
Whenever a burger joint proclaims a Battle of a Burgers, you know they’ve got some interesting things going on. Our recent visit to Rodeo Goat in Coppell was proof positive. They’ve got attitude, and the tag line “We Grind So Fine” over the kitchen just adds a little more spice to the meat. We were also exceedingly happy to find them not only open for business, but the kitchen still open at 9:30pm one recent Friday. We had com from an event nearby, and had not eaten prior, thanks to getting tied up in DFW traffic (imagine that), so we were beginning to start worrying we might have to deal with Denny’s or something similarly mediocre at that late hour. Hallelujah, we were seated quickly, given menus, and orders taken. Bam! In just a few minutes, we were staring down our respective burgers, fries, and adult beverages. Our table quickly grew silent as we noshed. I chose the Neil Young burger, a quirkily-named vegan patty with sprouts, tomato, and avocado. I asked them to hold the green goddess dressing because it was not vegan, but I subbed some BBQ sauce instead. A Hoppenheimer IPA washed it all down. I am remiss, though, for not taking notes as to what my two daughters and son-in-law ordered, but I did get pics. Everyone was satisfied. There are enough burger set-ups as well as patty’s (Beef, Chicken, Turkey, homemade Vegan, and Impossible) to provide enough combinations to keep any math nerd occupied calculating the possibilities. Prices are very fair for today, and serving sizes abundant. We came hungry, we left stuffed. Two thumbs up!
Great vibe. Right off the water. Really cool place to eat in great burgers Service has always been good and I love the atmosphere.
Wonderful place for a casual dinner. The menu is largely hamburgers but there is variation the would appeal to most folks. The burgers and fries were great - everyone in our party was very happy with their selection, and the service was prompt and courteous. This location is right on the water and has a large outdoor deck with both picnic tables and low lounging chairs. I'm not a native to Dallas but have made Roedo Goat a stop each time uve been in the area. Our dinner for 4 ~ $75 w/o alcohol.
Rodeo Goat is a fun place to get a great burger - especially if you’re willing to try something different and unique. Great combinations of different flavors - my burger had a crab cake on it! Cheese fries WITH the surprise (chili) is worth it. Service is good, atmosphere at this Cypress Waters location is awesome a right on the lake!
Absolutely the best burger in town! Every bite was juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The bun was fresh, the toppings were crisp, and the balance of flavors was spot on. You can really taste the quality and care in every detail. They were amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back for more. Number 1 spot.
Great place on the water with indoor and outdoor seating. I had a to go order but the inside is fun with great vibes and outside was beautiful! I had the nanny burger and sweet fries. It was delicious if you love goat cheese. The fries are addicting! My food was hot and ready when I got there and the staff was super friendly. I would definitely go to hang out next time.
Our first time here from San Antonio. We arrive late to restaurant but the service was fast! The food was great and delicious. Definitely will visit again when we’re in that area. The ranch is absolutely amazing 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 It’s actually better than wing stop ranch.. Definitely a must try if you haven’t been here. They are next to a lake. Kid friendly area.
I’ve been wanting to try Rodeo Goat for a while! Great location and ambience. Our server Raul was excellent!!!!!! We had the sugar burger different variations and my son and I enjoyed our food. The churros were delicious too! Love the Carmel drizzle!!
I decided to give this place another go after being let down by the Billy F Gibbons burger. This time around I tried one of the specials, The Truffle Shuffle. All I can say is WOW, this burger was packed full of flavor. The mushrooms were thiiiack, loads of cheese, the bread was shiny and delicious and the meat was cooked to perfection and juicy. Every bite you'd get a hint of that lemon with the shallots that blended so well with everything else going on. The fry portions are huge and could easily serve 2 people. Also for ranch lovers, theirs is homemade and one of the bests I've ever had. The location of this place is the best so far, it has a patio over the water, with access to a trail to walk off all the food, you're going to eat here!
Another great visit to Rodeo Goat. Went with my mother as it's one of her favorite places to eat at. New burger was the Rip Wheeler which has coffee rubbed patties, black pepper bacon, Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce, smoked gouda, frisee and chuck wagon mayo. Hella spicy but so good. As always, staff is great, which is why we keep coming back.
Rodeo Goat in Coppell is a great place to stop when you’re craving a good burger. They offer an amazing variety on the menu, including some fun and unique flavor combinations you won’t find just anywhere. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious. The sweet potato fries were excellent—definitely a must-order. And if you’re a dipper like me, ask for extra ranch. It’s perfect for the fries. The patio is the perfect place to spend an afternoon, with a lovely view overlooking the lake. Great food, great vibes, and a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, a solid spot with tasty options and a setting that makes you want to stay awhile. I’d absolutely go back!
The decor is fun! I enjoyed the different goat heads on the wall. The burger were so good! I had the truffle shuffle! I am a huge fan of anything truffle! I did need more truffle mayo because the bread was a little dry, but I like extra sauce on my burgers. My husband had the Lucy burger. He really enjoyed the blackberry compote, he said it gave the burger a nice flavor. I tasted his & was not a fan, but to each his own right?! Normal portion size for the burgers. The fries are enough for 2 adults to share & have plenty. The fries were seasoned perfectly with a little bit of crispy of the outside & soft in the middle. Our server, Gabriel, was right on top of everything from making suggestions to taking our order & coming back to check on us! If I'm every back in this area I'll make it a point to go again!
Just had an absolutely fantastic burger at Rodeo Goat Cypress Waters! The patty was perfectly cooked – juicy and flavorful – and the toppings were fresh and well-balanced. Every bite was a delight. It's safe to say this spot knows how to make a seriously good burger. Highly recommend!
Rodeo goat Cypress waters was a great place to enjoy some freshly made burgers. We were seated indoors on a hot summer day and were comfortable. The server did a great job of sharing recommended specials and allowed us sufficient time to review the menu and place an order. We appreciated having the alone time to enjoy our meal and had our waters refilled when needed. The outdoor setup was in a patio overseeing the lake with gorgeous views to enjoy in a cooler day. Overall excellent and will be returning to enjoy the other items on the menu.
We had a great lunch at Rodeo Goat. The ambiance on the patio overlooking the lake was serene. The various waterfowl on the lake were delightful to watch. The service was very friendly, professional, and helpful. The house made chips were delicious. The cowboy caviar was tasty. The gourmet burgers were a delightful combination of flavors. The draft beer selection included some very tasty local brews. Parking was free & convenient.
Great burgers and beautiful restaurant. Service is excellent as well! The outdoor lake side patio seating is beautiful.

Excellent burger restaurant overlooking a lake. Since I was just one person and there was open seating, took some time to get a server’s attention to get an order taken. Beyond that, my server was nice and attentive. I ordered the “Fire in the hole” from battle of the burgers. Good amount of heat on it, buns were nice and soft, meat was nicely charred with cheese coated on it. Bacon wasn’t crispy, but the other stuff made up for it. Would return for the burger. Much better than hopdoddy.
The servers were nice and we didn't have to wait a long time to be seated. They have a variety of burgers at Rodeo Goat as well as different beers and deserts. My server was very nice and paid attention to me and my friend and we didn't have to wait a long time for our food In my photos, I added my cheeseburger which was fully dressed and had Goat cheese on it which was different; but I liked it. . The other photo is one of their shakes that they have there.
Tried this place for lunch. The burger was most excellent. Ordered onion rings and they were terrible. Very thick and mostly bread. Also tried the chips and salsa which they bring out in a classic small salsa bowl. Which you get at on the border. They charged me $2 for a salsa refill which was lame. Burger was excellent. I may go again but not a fan of pricing.
Well, as they advertise, it's a burger place. But they are pretty tasty burgers. The only drawback is they only serve half and half. No milk. I'd modify that personally, but they have their reasons Im sure.
What a goat experience! The waiter was making sure we got a great outcome and gave us the run down on what dishes would best fit us , for it being our first time. W Waldo got shirts to remember the visit! Food was nice in flavors but wasn’t really a fan on the bread for the burgers. Chicken Salad was so good!
This place makes a good impression. Great menu quirky decorations, nice location. We came on a Wednesday night about an hour before closing and it was pretty empty. Our server still disappeared a lot, I ordered a soda that never came, and our appetizer came out with the meal. The food was great though, my burger was fantastic and fries are crispy. The cheese fries surprise are real good. Our server was nice but just not on top of things, had the service been a little better this review would be 5 star.
We went there to order some delicious burgers and we were somewhat disappointed. The burgers had great flavor, and they have a bunch of goodies on it. I added a fried egg on mine, because leta face it, an overeasy egg adds to a great burger. Overall, the burgers weren't juicy or dripping of anything. My fried egg was done all the way through. Perhaps I should have asked for over-easy, but I didn't think I needed to. We added sauce, which helped a little. The flavors were delicious, but the burgers were dry. Now, their queso was out of this world. We also ordered their potato tots or their 'steaming pile'. It was good too, but this time, the egg white was only halfway cooked, so there was the undone white part of the egg sort of ruined the texture. We'll go back anyhow and try other burgers at some point. Otherwise, the staff was super friendly, the beer was cold and the view was fantastic!!
This location is now my favorite. We visited this place for the first time today, and the view is amazing. While there is outside seating, we did not sit outside as it was in the 30s. But in the spring though fall I highly recommended this place not only for the ridiculously great burger and great service, but the outside seating with a view (which is free by the way) completes your relaxing dining experience. They have cornhole in the front as well. Great burgers, incredible beer selection, great atmosphere. It's a perfect spot to bring the whole family. Enjoy!!
Rodeo Goat at Cypress Waters is such a fun spot, especially at night. The lakeside setting is serene, with the moonlight and reflections of lights dancing on the water—makes for a really pretty vibe. There’s plenty of seating both indoors and out, and the quirky goat-themed decor (think goat statues and mounted sheep heads) adds character, even though there’s no actual goat on the menu! We tried the Bodacious burger with goat cheese and the Billy F. Gibbons on lettuce instead of a bun—both were delicious. The chili cheese fries were just okay; they could’ve used a crispier fry and a better, meltier cheese. Service was solid, but I wasn’t a fan of the steel plates they serve food on- felt a little too rustic, almost like prison trays. I’d definitely come back for the burgers and the view, but I’ll be dreaming of real dishware next time.
Recommand from my colleagues and give it a try today, order their signature burgers "Truffle Shuffle" and "Saddle Up" for battle, and I gave the vote to Truffle Shuffle. I love their potato and sweet potato fried, so crispy and tasty. Side salad also with rich toppings. A pretty nice restaurant just on the side of north lake Coppell.
Food was delicious, as always. It was my first time at this location and parking was hard to find, but there was plenty of space in the restaurant. I was concerned about not liking the jalapeno jam on the burger I choose and I was debating a different burger with blackberry compote. They put both on the side so I could determine what worked for me.
This restaurant’s location in Cypress Waters, right by The Sound, is a standout, offering lakefront patio seating and cozy indoor options. They boast an impressive lineup of cocktails, beers, and spirits, with the Moontang as their signature drink. Cheese fries and sliders make for tasty appetizers, and the menu has something for everyone, from salads to burgers. The Hatch Me If You Can burger, packed with hatch green chilis, was a highlight. Service is top-notch, with attentive staff ensuring drinks and food arrive promptly while regularly checking on tables. Parking can be challenging on busy nights, but ample street parking is available if you don’t mind a short walk. All in all, it’s a fantastic spot to unwind and enjoy an evening with friends.
Well came for a walk around the water but it was closed so me and the lady got some lunch instead. First time here did not disappoint. Food was good and on point. Got the Dad bod burger and my lady got one of the amazing salads. The only unfortunate problem was the birds outside. Staff doesn't clean up fast enough and the birds are all over the leftover food. Overall food, amazing, staff was nice and it looks like it could be a great place to be at night. Will be back as the birds are not their fault. Thank you
We loved this place! There is something for everyone from super basic to a little over the top, whatever your flavor is. The burgers are 7 ounces which is pretty good size and you can make any burger…

Good burgers and beer!! Outdoor patio is nice with some games for kids too. Not a lot of parking
I got the Cowboy Cobb salad. Ordered the steak rare and a side of sweet potato fries. The steak was done correctly but the portion was a bit on the smallish side. The sweet potato fries were crunchy and delicious. Server was on the ball. Environment was to noisy though. Not really designed for speaking conversationally. Overall a good meal.
Super disappointed with service. We went as a team birthday celebration, and the server was rude with everybody. We were charged a fee for a group over 6, and it was not said when we paid the bill because he didn’t show the receipt so we only have noticed after we left and we all paid tips twice for a horrible service. My salad was really good. My steak was well seasoned but it was a little bit too cooked and I have asked for medium rare. Overall the size was really good too! I saved for dinner because the portion was big.
I arrived around 4:30 PM and was told I could sit anywhere. Since the restaurant was empty, I had my choice of tables. However, I waited about five minutes before being greeted by my server and given a menu, all while observing employees gathered around a table chatting. I ordered a beer from the menu, but it was no longer available. The substitute provided was cold, refreshing, and delicious. For my meal, I chose the Brad Sham burger with sweet potato fries. When the food arrived, the burger was missing the BBQ sauce, but it was still decent overall. After finishing my meal, I experienced another wait to receive my check, as the employees continued socializing. The location and atmosphere were great, with outdoor seating overlooking North Lake. However, the lake view wasn’t enough to make up for the lack of attentive service and mediocre food. If I’m in the area again, I would likely look for another burger spot.
Went here today with my sister. we walked in & noticed it was a self seating situation…there were at least 5 employees right at the door way..NOBODY spoke or was welcoming to us. until a nice young lady BEHIND the bar told us to sit wherever we liked. she was nice. but um, when you see customers at least acknowledge them instead of being on your phone. so rude & unprofessional! our waiter was nice & attentive so that’s why we stayed. burger was just all right. sweet potatoe fries were goood. won’t come back because of the employees tho.
The location of this burger joint is so cute and quaint. Loved that there was outside seating w a nice view of the water. service was meh, a bit slow, and left us for long periods of time. Burger c…
We waited an hour at our table, seated. They were serving the tables next to us and the one behind us, but not us. We told two waiters we hadn't ordered, and they kept saying, "I'll be right back." They never came, and we obviously left. Terrible service. We consider it disrespectful.
Absolutely rude gentlemen working at the front with the glasses and hat. When we walk in we were told that there was free seating and was told nothing about sitting outside. We try to sit outside and a rude man walks up and says “you can’t be sitting there, there’s a wait list to sit on the patio”. Would not recommend coming here if you want to deal with rude employees. I will also be telling other to avoid this location as well.
I probably wouldn’t return. The dining area was uncomfortably cold during our visit. When I asked if the temperature could be adjusted, I was told the system is automatic, which I understood to mean it wouldn’t be adjusted for our comfort. Service was inconsistent. We didn’t receive utensils with our meals and had to fetch them ourselves, and I also had to go back for salad dressing. The food was mixed. My son usually enjoys a side salad, but he didn’t eat much of it this time because the dressing didn’t pair well with the bacon. The sliced fries were burnt and went mostly uneaten. My steak salad arrived heavily dressed; I would have preferred the dressing on the side. They did a good job on the steak though. My husband ordered a bowl of chili. While it was seasoned, it consisted mostly of ground meat and cheese and felt very basic, without the beans, tomatoes, or onions we typically expect. On a positive note, the decor is nice, and the deck by the lake looks like it would be a great place to relax when the weather is pleasant.
