Opinions de Soul Full Cup Corning
I usually go here for my twice a week cappuccino. They are friendly and usually know my order. It does get crowded/filled during the afternoon or on weekends. They offer a wide selection of drinks and snacks!
Stopped here coming back from a road trip, and will return every time we are around the area!! The baristas make great conversation, know the customers names, and make it a joyous experience. The coffee was perfect for the trip! Thank you guys!
Nice variety of coffees. Most of the big chains fail to serve the coffee drinker and instead have super sugar drinks. No Kopi Luwak, but pretty much everything else ;) Staff is very friendly also.
Very cute little place. Was here late afternoon on 5/13 and the servers were very nice, place was clean, nice decor, good music, and the drink I got was good. I only wish they had more food options, like sandwiches/bagels/soups or something.
Great cappuccino! Cute cafe. Nice staff. Glad we took the little detour off the highway to stop by! Totally worth it!
Coffee made today was excellent! Not too sweet and just right. The barista was really sweet as well. Love locally owned coffee shop
I’ve never actually visited the location, but we buy their coffee from our grocery. I absolutely love their Mokka Java blend. If I need an afternoon pick me up I’ll make a cup and add hot cocoa mix for extra chocolatey goodness
Love the warm and cozy atmosphere at Soul Full Cup. It’s the perfect place to grab a coffee and meet up with a friend or read a book on your own. Super friendly staff and the coffee is wonderful. Lots of options for creamers/milk and ton of flavors to try.
I always order a cappuccino with an extra shot every state in US, here they have the best ever!!! People here is so nice too. the place is clean and just makes u comfortable. I wish I get a coffee here every morning.
This place is located on beautiful market and has the coffee shop feel right when you walk in the door. My two favorite drinks are the White Chocolate Mocha (which is way better than Starbuck's version). Don't believe me try it out for yourself! The other is the Creme Brulee latte anything I have had there has been very good. If you like gluten free stuff alot of their baked good are! I love the blueberry scones but whatever I have had has been very good. So to say if your in Corning its the best place to get coffee!
The place really is everything it’s name promises. I went here on a Sunday afternoon and found myself wrapped up in the warmth of soft walnut honey baklava and piping-hot London Fog. Shout out to Mackenzie who is a a one-woman-army. I saw her attending to all the customers, creating delicious hot and cold beverages, and spreading smiles throughout Corning, all at Uber fast speed. The place also offers a variety of treats, gluten-free snacks as well. The music is awesome. My fellow customers were super sweet as well. I would recommend this place - 5 star for the superb experience.
I (accidentally) walked in 10 minutes before closing and the barista (a pretty, brown-haired, twenty-something) came out and greeted me in a very friendly manner. She ended up making me a PERFECT americano for the road. They have a nice array of baked goods in the display case. I got the lemon zest mini-cakes - really nice flavor! I'll definitely go back here next time I'm in Corning!
Excellent coffee, friendly barista! I asked for a cortado, which wasn't on the menu, but she made me one of the best cortados I ever had! No real lunch food and not a big selection of pastries but the lemon blueberry bread I had was very good!
The young lady who was behind the counter was so friendly. It was my first time there and she took the extra time to see what I liked. Then she made the best iced latte I have had in a long time. I definitely will go again.
If you want to get in you better hurry especially on the weekend! This place is always packed. For a good reason tho. They make delicious coffee and hot cocoa. Would recommend the mocha espresso or the americano.
Such a cute coffee house. I love their chai, and everything else I have gotten from them. They also always have a water bowl for dogs outside, which gives them points in my book! One of my favorite places on market street.
GREAT COFFEE! amazing vegan protein cookies equivalent to Juicepress NYC. a bit pricey but worth it. personal order was the iced Buzz with 12 splenda and a splash of almond milk=chefs kiss. came here with my partner and the barista was lovely. he really made the extra effort!😊
Stopped in for iced caramel latte and also left with chocolate covered coffee beans. So good!
I got a delicious Chai Latte and some baklava this morning and will definitely be back to get some of the sustainably sourced, family owned farm coffee beans! Can't wait to get some Glassblower whole beans to try for homebrewing - such a treat to find in Corning!
Coffee par excellence. Only coffee in upstate NY. A coffee house, the real deal. Beans roasted perfectly on premises and servers are experienced. Amazing atmosphere. Vegan and service animal friendly. WiFi
Love a good coffee house, and this one is fantastic. When my family had a hard time getting in (we were pushing a baby wagon) one of the gals unlocked the other door to help us out. Coffee and food choice are above Starbucks or Dunkin’s as well for ballpark same prices. The atmosphere on a Saturday is a bit more loud & lively than most coffee houses, perfect for a family affair because our kiddos didn’t stand out when they got a bit overly excited about hot chocolate. But maybe something to keep in mind for if you’re looking for the classic quiet college study spot, this is not it, at least not on Saturdays. Also, bonus points for how lovely it is in general, very classy furniture and layout.
Hard to get a good coffee while on the road but this place definitely delivered. Delicious coffee!! Smallish selection of baked goods available too though didn't try them. Sat with our dog outside on the sidewalk. They had a water bowl out. Lovely.
Cute little coffee shop right on Market Street. Their coffee is excellent and they offer a full drink menu, as well as many delicious baked goods. The staff is really friendly and there is seating both inside and out front.
Nice little coffee shop downtown Corning, great coffee shop ambiance. On street parking. I had a latte, very good. Didn't try any foods.
I love visiting soul full cup. Best place in town to get a brew. The staff is friendly and helpful! They also make a great cup of coffee, or tea, even Turkish coffee! Prices are in line with competitors. The vibe inside can not be beat and the seating is nice as well 😊 2022 Update: still definitely one of my favorite spots for coffee! They consistently deliver excellent coffee and a warm welcoming atmosphere. Great place to visit on market street!
Hands down the best mocha I've found in Corning, Hornell, Penn Yan, or Bath. The staff are friendly. I very much appreciate that they use locally roasted, and ethically sourced coffee beans.
I go here every week and don't have a single negative thing to say about them. All the staff is amazing! It is a very cozy and inviting place. I love to spend a couple hours here relaxing with a good book and a great drink. They make an amazing breve, which is hard to find anywhere else. I have never had a bad experience here and will continue to make a weekly pilgrimage.
Coffee was excellent. Espresso was well blended, well pulled and served immediately. Lovely crema. Service was extremely prompt, friendly, and helpful. We went three times during our stay in Corning and the experience was great each time.
I enjoyed my Turkish coffee (small and strong, think Cuban coffee) and my fiancee enjoyed her chai latte. Good service and a nice quiet atmosphere
Best coffee on Market Street. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Indoor seating is wonderful, wifi is fast. Outdoor seating is great as well. Everyone that comes here is so nice. I love all the friendly chats that I've shared with strangers. 10/10. I wish yall would get oatmilk though 😅
Had a caramel latte and banana nut muffin before heading over to the Rockwell Museum and the experience couldn’t have been better. I wish I could have that same exact latte every day. And the service and atmoshpere were perfect. I suppose it was a little expensive, but it was worth it.
First time visiting Corning and was in search of local coffee shop. Soul Full has a very sweet vibe with a classic coffee house feeling, great lighting and atmosphere. The baristas were very friendly, and my hot chai charger was delicious. The baklava was classic and paired amazingly with the bev
This is the best coffeehouse in the Southern Tier! Their beans are high quality and fresh, the menu has options for about any caffeinated craving, and the staff are consistently friendly and accommodating. I love Soul Full. Please help support the coffeehouse in these times, so that we have it for years to come.
Great place to go for a cup of coffee!! Very friendly staff. Inviting and comfortable atmosphere to sit and have a conversation with friends or colleagues. They even offer sitting outside on beautiful Market St in downtown Corning! They even offer up pastries and baked goods with some options of Gluten Free and or vegan options as well!
The best coffee shop on market street. They have a huge menu and the staff that works there are really knowledgeable about everything. They offer whole beans and ground coffee, and they have amazing little snacks on display all the time. They are also super fast with making all of the drinks and it's all for a great price. This is probably one of the best places to get a drink in the area.
Beautiful coffee shop, vast variety of coffee beans. Wonderful Baristas. Adorable neighborhood
Made a quick stop here on a road trip for some caffeine and it did not disappoint! Staff was friendly and coffee was delicious.
definitely can’t go wrong getting a coffee or tea here since there are lots of options! a handful of sweet treats to much on as well. my personal favorite is just their standard iced chai latte but many of my friends prefer the chai charger. also recommend the elephant ear pasties, chocolate chip cookies, and cinnamon rolls! very clean, and seems to be newly painted/decorated. is relatively quiet but can get a bit loud when it’s busy. regardless, i have never had issue with it being too loud when trying to get work done or have a conversation with someone else at the table.
My husband had surprised me with a hot coffee from somewhere I haven’t tried yet and i was instantly hooked! I went in person and tried their baklava; What a hidden gem ! They should be proud of that recipe I could eat 20 of those ! You bet I’ll be coming back often for my coffee and pastry treats .
Such a fun little coffee shop. They do have some yummy treats as well. I love coffee and it definitely met my high expectations. The neighborhood is lovely.
This coffee shop is absolutely wonderful—an ideal spot to start the day. The coffee is exceptional, and the staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. I loved stopping by two days in a row during our quick trip to Corning. The cozy back room is perfect for relaxing, meeting locals, and learning more about the area. Highly recommend! We grabbed a bag of beans for the road and the cookies are really good too! Thank you!
Baristas were so friendly, coffee and protein coffee was amazing, very clean. Stopped in on road trip and so happy we did Brown sugar banana latte- chefs kiss 😋
Beautiful old building with a great offering of coffees and assorted sweets and treats. I got a mocha girardelli latte, and it was divine!!! Prices are good and the atmosphere is lovely!
Stopped there for coffee on our way through town on a road trip. Great vibe, great service, great drinks! Will stop there again on our way back through. If you’re looking for a legit coffee shop that isn’t a big chain - worth a look.
Cute little Turkish style coffee shop in the middle of the town. Not as busy in the morning and you can get a coffee and just chill outside. Coffee is good. Service could use some smiling but it’s early morning. Maybe they could have a few shot and buff that energy up a bit. Ambiance is nice. Typical coffee shop with plenty of space inside. I don’t see any WiFi access.
The perfect coffee shop for caffeine feines and the inbetweens. The cold brew was on tap and had a flavor profile like none other. My spouse had a dark chocolate smores frappe that was great as well. Customer service was good. Great selection of food, beverages, and gifts. Glad we found this place! Must visit if in the area!
Soul Full Cup Coffeehouse is a very quaint and cute shop on Market Street. The shop sells quality coffee at reasonable prices. The store also has a very nice seating arrangement. If you're trying to get some work done there are tables with conveniently place outlets. If you want something more calm and relaxing, they're are a few comphy padded chairs to sit in.
Latte was ok, tasted a little more burnt/bitter than it should. Local pastry selection was pretty good, but pastries weren't very fresh. Overall, this is a good coffee place to go to.
Nice, locally owned little gem. Friendly staff. I wish they had music playing in the place. A little Ravi Shankar always adds flavor to a good coffee blend
They make really great drinks. They got so busy they forgot to finish making mine and several people were coming in after me and leaving well before me. When I asked them about it, they were very nice and immediately finished mine which had been sitting in the blender. They can probably use a much better system for keeping track of orders, it seems to be done from memorization, which isn't great given how busy they get. Nonetheless, the workers are great, the drinks are great, and I'd come back if I am in the area again.
It's a coffee shop. It has a cute atmosphere and you can get a cup of coffee. They don't try to do anything well, and they don't do it well. But the coffee and snacks are good. So you won't get an 'over the top' experience, but you will get a good cup of coffee and a good pastry. They have all the ingredients to be a great coffee shop, but they don't seem to care. So if you want a quiet little place to have your average coffee shop experience, you've found it!
Pleasant and cozy with well-prepared drinks. A reliable choice for a casual stop.
It was pretty good! The barista running the cash register was super friendly and knowledgeable. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is I've had better lattes elsewhere, buuuuuut...have to give credit where credit is due and say that I do have a picky palate. Hehe 😉 Wish there was a way to give a 4.5 rating. Overall, good job Soul Full!
Stopped in as a tourist yesterday. Fantastic coffee drinks. The baked goods we ate were fantastic too. Service was quick! I highly recommend visiting this place if you're a coffee connoisseur. However, I'm giving 2 stars on atmosphere because there's a rainbow windsock outside, supporting pride. Coffeeshops are welcoming places for all people. And, there aren't any other political messages promoted by the shop. They should stick to serving coffee and take down all political or social messaging.
I ordered a Latte. I remembered to ask how many pumps of flavoring was in my drink but, I forgot to ask how many pumps of espresso were put into a medium. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy this latte because it was way too strong. One of the main reasons I drink a Latte over coffee is because this generation has decided that coffee that tastes bitter is the way to go. I lived in Europe for five years, I know what a good Latte or Cappuccino should taste like. One of the biggest mistakes a local cafe makes is trying to keep up Starbucks. If the espresso is too strong, the coffee is too strong. Making a good cup of coffee or Latte all begins with the quality of espresso, and not over doing it.
House made honey pear syrup was awesome! Cute shop located on main strip for shopping and dining. Customer service we experienced was radically differently than the cheery interaction we witnessed with a local regular (baristas knew his name). Seemed like we were a nuisance and inconvenience to the barista for ordering one coffee to go.
I recently visited and ordered an iced chai tea. I was excited to try it, but when I received it, I noticed it looked creamy and learned they used dairy. As someone with a dairy allergy, I appreciate that they offered to remake it with soy milk, but unfortunately, I was charged again for the substitution. It would be great if they could clarify dairy usage in their drinks or kindly ask before making a substitution charge, especially for those with allergies. I believe this would not only enhance customer experience but also ensure everyone's safety. Thanks for considering this! I hope to return and enjoy a delicious chai that suits my needs!
The coffee here has always been decent, but as someone who grew up in the area, it's completely baffling to me how much this place has prioritized front room foot traffic over everyday visitors who want a place to sit, work, and relax. The vibe is completely nonexistent now & it's hard to get comfortable. It used to be a really magical, quirky place. Shame on the owners for gutting it like this. Everyone in town would be happier if it was restored to a "third place" as it should be.
Cute location as far as coffee houses go. Nice atmosphere inside. Had a latte and an iced latte. With sugar cookie in one and honey cinnamon in the iced. Could not taste flavoring in either. Espresso in the latte was overpowering any flavor that was added.
Good atmosphere, super cute place to sit and chat! However coffee is weak. I wanted to love it but the coffee tastes watered down….
Nice place on a quaint street. The coffeehouse had all the atmosphere needed. It's just that the coffee was too strong, and the barista was less than helpful. Our order was forgotten, in part, and you had to ask for more cream or sweetener from her behind the counter. My wife and I felt like we were a nuisance. I'm sure this is not normal, but it was our experience.
Typical small town cafe hang. Although the espresso was roasted well it was a less then average pull. Barista had an unprofessional attitude, and proceeded to pull my shot while I was in the bathroom, after I told her I was going to the bathroom. Barista 101 don't let a shot of espresso sit. She did offer to re-pull, but after a few days of dealing with her noxious attitude, including this incident I just paid her, drank half, and left.
Came out for a trip to visit the Corning Museum. Afterwards drove around to see what was in the area. Decided to stop for a coffee or a drink at this place. It was a MISTAKE. Ordered a hot chocolate and a cinnamon roll. Everything was super cold. The cinnamon roll was pretty bad. Also, the baristas need some training in customer service.
So the girl that works there, is not so friendly. She seemed to be a snob! The place is far from, friendly, warm and inviting. The dark skin girl was very sweet, as for the other girl, she has no business working in a coffee house. Nothing "Soul full" here just a front appearing to be something other than GREAT! 👎🏼 Also, coffee is watered down to tasteless nothing!
After I ordered, I tried to pay with cash but was told they only accept smaller bills. I left. It’s hard to support small businesses when they won’t accept legal currency. I went to Wegman’s and ordered a coffee and muffin and paid with no issues.
If you like rude cashiers and the taste of burnt coffee, this is the place for you!
Disappointing customer service that reflects poorly on the establishment. Rude woman behind the counter. We had intended to buy coffee beans in addition to the coffee and breakfast cake after breakfast. Not interested in adding to the coffers of a place that offers an unpleasant experience. Coffee is good, pastry, not good.
Visiting the area and stopped in for a coffee with family. The one barista was amazing, the other however definitely needs some training in customer service. He made the wrong drink, and when asked to make the drink I ordered he slammed the cup on the counter, and said “so you don’t want this?!” When I felt as more of an inconvenience- I asked for a refund. He stomped away rolling his eyes and talking poorly about me. The other barista called the manager who came down and refunded me my money and offered to make me a new one. Will never be back.
Probably the worst frappe I’ve ever had. I thought it was just over sweetened given I had a 20oz with 3 shots and so couldn’t taste any coffee. However the sweetness was overpowered by a strong taste of sour milk. I had maybe 5 sips trying to figure it out so I tossed it in the trash. What a waste.
THE WORST COFFEE SHOP IN THE US. I don't usually give bad ratings to coffee shops, but this place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am a frequent traveler, also known as a globetrotter. I have visited coffee shops all over the world and love the different experiences, trends, and coffee blends served in these shops. I especially appreciate when baristas show pride, happiness, and knowledge. I have been going to Soul Full Cup for about a week and noticed that the baristas are nice but felt uncomfortable in satisfying my simple request: I like the milk in the espresso lukewarm and not boiling. This task is as simple as shutting down the steamer quicker. One cashier in particular saw me walking in, and every single time, her expression changed from dry to unpleasant. This morning, she told me that in their Sunday night staff meeting, they decided to stop making Cortados. The first thing that came to my mind was, who holds staff meetings on Sunday night? Then, is steaming milk lukewarm rocket science? Anyway, after I told her I got the message and that I was no longer welcome at the coffee shop, the cashier smiled joyfully and nodded. It is interesting how lousy news brings out the best in some people. . . go figure. What happened to customer service? Soul Full Cup needs to find its Soul as there are lots of Full but no Souls for customer care. This is my first, and I hope last, "Worst Coffee Shop" rating that I will write; not even Starbucks gets this lousy rating. But looking at the bright side, at least I received a goodbye smile.
Traveling through NY, I made a special stop because I loved the name of this cafe, and reviews were so good. The barista who took my order was amazing - really sweet. The other barista seems to hate her job and customers, and also needs some espresso training. While making my drink, she kept pausing to enjoy big bites of her dinner. Which was gross and disrespectful. 😳 Seriously, don’t eat your meal while preparing food for customers. My order was simple - “Oat milk cap, a little less hot. They were out of oat milk, the foam was very weird, and my drink came out PIPING hot. For a $6.00 drink, it just wasn’t at all what I had asked for, so I kindly requested a remake. The sweet barista stepped right up and made it with apologies - the other barista just looked so fed up, gave me the side-eye and dove back into eating her dinner. Not the soulful vibe I had hoped for.🤷♀️
Came out for a day trip to visit the Corning Museum. Afterwards drove around to see what was in the area. Decided to stop for a coffee or a drink at this place. This place left a bad taste in my whole being! After purchasing a hot Macchiato I stood watching my Barista make my order. He steams a whole cup of milk and proceeds to scoop with a spoon only the foam into my cup. After I received my drink, there was only coffee and no milk what so ever. I asked him to please put some of the milk he steamed for my coffee into my cup. He proceeded to tell me I had to buy a whole new drink in oder to add milk to my cup. How am I supposed to pay for two drinks when I am only drinking one. It makes no sense. He continued to repeat himself and there for thats it I reached my limit! I want a refund! He proceeded to say sorry I cant do that. I asked to speak to a manager and he went on to dial on his cell phone. He then came back with a refund with less of an amount than what I paid for. Completely disappointed, dissatisfied, and disgusted with the fact that not one but the two barista's that were working were miserable and rude. Poor service, lack of customer service, and plain out rude. I guess customer satisfaction does not fall in their mission statement at all. After the bad experience I had in this place, I didn't even bother sticking around. I decided to get back in my car and head back to my home town! Completely disappointed thanks to this so called business!
Ordered a latte after getting a super bitter one last time that I couldn't drink. I asked to make a less bitter one. One I got was even worse than the last one even with sweet syrup. There was no foam on top either. Coming here for a long time for my special afternoon treat. But will skip this now.
I used to come here often, and while I do like the updated interior, unfortunately the coffee and the food just isn’t acceptable. Of the two drinks we got this morning - one was their special and one was a typical oat milk latte - both tasted watery. I’m not a super picky person but I couldn’t even describe these as coffee drinks. The music was also too loud. I actually like Wegmans coffee better, and that’s saying something. Love local, but I really hope Soulfull Cup improves so I can support them again. I won’t be back until I hear the quality has improved.
My black wife and I walked into the place and waited at the counter for quite some time. It was our first time visiting this establishment. When we entered there was only a man and his small son ahead of us and they were waiting for their order. Meanwhile another young couple walked in and were waited on promptly. Witnessing that I decided to leave because they never acknowledged us at all!
