Tip: If you like spicy food, order your curry 'Thai hot' as medium may not be spicy enough. Portions are large, so consider sharing.

Just had dinner here. Ordered the mixed veggies with chicken, because we just wanted something with lots of veggies. It's a lot like Chinese stir fry, but fresh and the sauce is light. Enjoyed the meal. We also enjoyed the fried egg rolls. But the show stopper for us was the mango with sticky rice dessert.
Ordered take out not expecting much and good lord is this place phenomenal. Spring rolls were deliciously crisp and the red curry was super flavorful and full of goodness. Definitely spicy…even the mild had me sweating a little (not a big spice person) but my husband loved the Thai spice (he LOVES spice) 10/10 recommend!!!!
I just finished my takeout pad phet. That was so good I started calling them back to tell them how good it was. Then I hung up and figured a review would be more beneficial
Excellent food. First time in Corpus, based on the reviews we decided to have Thai instead of seafood. Ordered Thai tea , shrimp rolls , combination fried rice, drunken noodles and sticky rice with mango. We love it so much, I’ve ordered a second to take . Fresh and steamy rice and noodles. The sticky rice was the best ever. Definitely a must when visit Corpus.
Great service and delicious food! We tried the Yellow Curry and Green Curry, and the Chicken Satay. The Mango sticky rice was yummy. The best part was the service! Our waitress was incredibly attentive and took great care of us!
11/2025 still the best Thai food on North Padre Island. It's really quite good. There is another Asian restaurant two doors down as a backup, but it is more formulaic and almost buffet-like. So Noms is the much better choice here. The dishes are always freshly & tasty.
The food is absolutely amazing. The flavors are fresh and robust. The staff is great and friendly and like to get to know you. The atmosphere is cozy and casual. If you are ever out and about on the island definitely swing by. They also have a very small "store" with ingredients used in their entrees.
I’m from Asia, Malaysia to be exact (Thailands neighbor) so if anyone knows Asian food, it would be me because I come from that part of the world, and I know what is Americanized and what is not. I must say that this has been one of the most authentic Thai restaurants not only in Corpus Christi but the whole of Texas. Malaysian food and Thai food can be pretty similar at times, so this place reminds me of home. I’ll rate their authenticity 9/10 for sure! Can’t wait to go back there again.
Excellent food, friendly service, reasonably Priced. I eat in Thai food restaurants regularly throughout the nation. This restaurant was the best of the best. Nuff said
Nom's has some of the best quality food in North Padre. The green curry was excellent. The spicy papaya salad was very good. North Padre has plenty of good, not great places. If you value great food over the atmosphere Nom's is for you.
fantastic meal. ambience was great, subdued, so easy to hold a conversation. spring rolls were larger than expected. also had chicken satay, wings, and pad thai. Thai tea was delicious, as well. 10/10 go again. easy to get to from aquarius. Google maps shows one way diagonal cutover, but it's two way.
This is a quaint and cozy thai place. It has a small store when you enter and when you turn right that’s where the tables are. Both hubby and ai love this place. I ordered the green curry and it was so good. We also had a small bowl of Tom Yum soup. I forgot what hubby ordered but he enjoyed it so much. We will definitely come back and I highly recommend this place.
Really delicious!! I went in so late, about 850pm, not knowing they close late. They could have turned us away, but they took my full order ($120.00) worth. Thank you so much. Plus 4 boba drinks! To go order was delicious. The shrimp with bellpeppers was the only gross item. Tasted just fully of peppers. We didn't eat that. Place is simple and had a variety of little food items you can buy. The seating was a small area as well. Looked clean.
I want to start off by saying we are both from Dallas, and have tried countless Thai restaurants across DFW and the state. Hands down this is one of THE places for Thai food across the state. My boyfriend is Thai, and his family often cooks amazing authentic food, hopefully that’s credible enough lol! Of the both times we have visited here on our vacation, we have had nothing but an excellent experience. The Pad Krapao (Thai Basil) , Pad See Ew, Panang curry, and Thai fried rice are all excellent dishes and made incredibly authentic. My boyfriend also appreciates them making it spicy enough, something we often struggle to find with most places. The Mango sticky rice and Thai tea are amazing and were great compliments to end our meals. It’s great to see locally owned Thai places like this, and I hope to get to visit some time again!
Absolutely delicious. If you're visiting Corpus Christi for a few days and want to try different things, I would just come here and go through the menu, one thing at a time. Maybe you can go one day to Doc's and then come back. Everything so far has been awesome, especially the larb, pompano, fried rice and pad see eew. The mild has been mild except maybe the green curry (slightly more spicy than the other mild dishes). The best appetizer was the fried egg roll. The egg drop soup is not written on the menu but it is pretty good and custardy. The wait for the pompano is absolutely worth it, it was phenomenal. The sauce is super delicious and the fish is very tasty. If you've never tried pompano, take this chance!
Ordered the Drunken Noodle with shrimp and the green curry with shrimp. Plus the soft veggie and shrimp roll. Everything was excellent. The peanut satay dip with the shrimp rolls was the best I’ve ever had - and I have been to Thailand multiple times. The curry and the drunken noodles were great. We left our plates empty!
Wow what a place!!! Shout out to shane! My family and i showed up here and i swear we ordered one of everything just about on the menu. Bless his heart trying so hard to fit all those dishes on our tiny little table. But he was so patient and a real joy! He made the experience so awesome for us. My favorite was the basil rice with shrimp! Tom yum soup was so so so good! We also got the thai wings and spring roll appetizers! You MUST TRY THE MANGO TEA!! It is so so so so good.
Loved this place! My wife and both I ordered Thai tea and curry and we were very happy with how everything came out. I ordered my curry 'Thai hot' and it didn't disappoint. It's delicious and definitely very spicy, but the heat doesn't overpower the flavor. Friendly staff, cozy dining room, generous portions, and very fairly priced.
We stopped by Nom’s on our way to Port A based on a recommendation from friends in Austin, and they were absolutely right about the food! We started with the Tom Kha soup, which perfectly balanced sweet and savory flavors. The Nam salad was fresh and delightful, and the Pad Se Ew with chicken was simply to die for—highly recommend getting it at a medium spice level.

It's a small Thai restaurant in a shopping center, and that is part of the charm. We went at 6:30 and the lighting was nice and low, our server was quick and super friendly. We had the delicious Thai Tea, Fried Tofu ( fried to perfection, the inside was soft like a cloud, paired with the sweet and sour sauce made it hard to stop eating it ). The Chicken wings are a must , the flavor is unlike any other...its a sweet and savory fish sauce, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and fresh. We also ordered the pad phet, a very well done stir fry with delicious chicken and vegetables in a red curry paste. Great seasoning with a little heat. We decided on medium heat but if you want it hot they can easily do it. We ended with the Thai Coconut ice cream, thicker than a Gelato but softer and more creamy, I really enjoyed it. The prices are very fair for what you get and not being let down on anything we had was priceless. We will be back!!!
Delicious! We ordered take out 30 minutes before closing. The staff was friendly and very helpful as we navigated the menu. Great selection of predictable entries. The portions are huge. The food was delicious. Note: they list spice levels as mild medium and hot. Mild is not spicy at all. Medium will have the weak of spirit second guessing your choice. Hot, I'm not qualified to comment on this spice level. This is one of my favorite Corpus Christi restaurants.
Came here with my boyfriend and was blown away. I ordered the green curry and man it reminded me of food from my childhood! The green curry was not too spicy but had the perfect amount if kick. We also got the mango sticky rice for dessert and is was authentic as can be.
Best Thia food in the Coastal Bend. Soft Springs, Thia Egg Rolls are amazing. All the Curry dishes won't disappoint. Tom Kha Chicken the best.

Thai egg roll was perfectly cooked, tasted really well. However, the SP10 . Orange Chicken was underwhelming. I ordered it with a Thai spice level, but was no where near thai spicy, and the Orange Chicken was very under-seasoned.
I was excited to see chicken larb on the menu (my fave) and where it had great flavor, I was not impressed with the rice powder in it. Every bite had small unground pieces of raw rice that were hard to chew and got stuck in my teeth. I'd never had larb with that texture before. The menu indicated it was Thai Spicy but I would consider it mild and had to ask for chili oil. My toddler enjoyed the tofu lo mein along with my husband's crying tiger beef. Which my husband said was not spicy either and had to add extra chili oil. The peanut sauce that came with our spring rolls was amazing! Service was excellent and experience overall was a good one.
We visited this restaurant last time we were in Port Aransas and loved it. The food is so delicious, fresh, and flavorful. The best part is that the food is not swimming in oil! We ordered the tofu soft spring roll, chicken satay, son tum lao (papaya salad), stir fried mixed veggies with chicken and a panang curry. The peanut sauce that came with the spring roll and chicken satay was so incredibly fresh. It tasted like it was made with actual peanuts that had been blended up. I ordered a medium spice level papaya salad and it was accurate to the spice level. The stir fried mixed veggies with chicken were a little bland for my liking, but when I paired it with the Penang curry, it was perfect! When I opened the Penang curry, it was so aromatic and smelled so good. Note: we did take out and ordered online
May 2024 Update: Food is still decent and service is good, prices have gone up a little but the bottled drinks on the shelf had long gone expiry dates. We reported this and they took back the bottled drink we bought immediately but we had to remind them to take it off the bill which they promptly did; The disturbing thing when we reported the drinks with expiry dates (even 6 or 8 months past expiry date) they were left on the shelf even after our reporting them. Doesn’t give us too much confidence that they maintain high standards for the food and drink they sell. May 2023: Having spent a lot of time in Thailand and rest of Asia, I get excited when I encounter a place that has authentic food to offer. Nom’s seems to be one such place for authentic Thai food in Texas. We ordered the papaya salad, green curry and pad see ew and they were all very good. Lot of great options on the menu and food is tasty. The portions were also generous. Decent variety for vegetarians as well. Spoke to the owner Nom when ordering and she was pleasant and friendly, although she had a very hard time with writing down my name😀 but it was all in good humor. Good location and highly recommended for anyone in the Corpus Christi area! May 2023: On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being best… Food - 9 Location - 9 Service - 9 Atmosphere - 9 Price - 9 Overall Value - 9

Came from out of town with a toddler and put in an order at 7pm and still waited past 8pm in the parking lot to pick up our to go order. They mentioned 30 mins (which meant it should be ready 7:30). We had a hungry and sleepy toddler and this wasn’t OK. Please just be upfront with your cooking time.
Visited Nom's Kitchen…small place with an extensive Thai menu. My server Stephanie guided me to a table and I ordered a Singha Beer and decided to try the Crispy Fish w/Sweet & Sour with fried versus plain rice (was a $1 upcharge). The dish looks good and you are initially hit with the pungent sweet & sour fragrance. You have three fish patties, I asked if they were are hand breaded and fresh and Steph indicated they were. Overall the dish is OK for me…I didn’t care for the breading on the fish and I doubt these are freshly breaded and fried...way to consistent in the breading. The flavors of sweet & sour just did not work for me either and the fried rice was just average. Overall an OK meal but not one I would order again.
There was a slight wait when I came here for lunch around 1pm on a weekday. The service was okay. One of my family member felt ignored by the waiter because he had to get her attention to let her know he wanted to order as well. The food was okay. I got the yellow curry. I liked everything in it but the onions tasted a bit old. It was a good portion for me since I had to take the rest home. The papaya salad was good and spicy. The shrimp wasn't too bad.
Cute little restaurant. The meals were beautifully presented. I ordered the tofu drunken noodles. It's a large serving and is good. My husband ordered the crying tiger beef. It was made differently than he's had before in Japan. The beef was a little tough. The sauce was ok.

Ordered a Door Dash, and the spring rolls were edible but bland. The pineapple fried rice with shrimp was pretty good. But the Khao Soi, ordered with beef, was inedible. First off, they omitted the beef that they charged extra for. Second, it was literally just sticky pasta, topped with dry pasta. Everything else was in a different container, which we figured out pretty quickly that it had to go on that pile of bland substance. After adding the "sauce" it was still almost impossible to eat, as it was all stuck together. The "sauce" was spicy but had absolutely no flavor at all. The entire dish was just inedible. There was nothing creamy about any of it, which was in the description. We ended up throwing it away and sharing the pineapple stir fry. We both are very much adventurous, constantly trying new things, and never disliked any Thai food that we've tried... but it might as well have been Ramen that they added just enough water to, to make soft but not actually cooked, threw away the flavor packet and replaced with just straight-up cayenne flakes soaked in oil
Excellent food... very nice service! My wife ate Drunken Noodles with shrimp and I had Tom Kha with shrimp (kund). Both dishes were fantastic! The music they played was a very nice addition to the food. One year later and how things have changed. Prices are much higher and the quality and taste of the food was much lower. Maybe they have a new cook? I ordered Chicken Satay appetizer and it did not help my appetite. The chicken was tough and difficult to chew. The peanut sauce was not that great either. My wife requested her food to be “spicy” but it was really pretty mild.

UPDATES: (after read the answer from the owner) If your restaurant charge 3.99%, its should be charge after SUBTOTAL, not on each items like that. All the POS systems add % after subtotal. And let’s me tell you. We PAID BY CASH. Not debit/credit. You’re still lie, I’ll remove 2* & give you 1* . ———— Food is good, service is good. BUT the price on receipt is NOT MATCH with the menu price. That is NOT GOOD. You guys need to updates or reduce price for matching. Don’t cheat customers like that
Ordered for take out and could tell immediately by the color alone that the food was going to be bland. I got the pineapple fried rice and it just tasted like buttery rice with a tiny bit of canned pineapple juice. Very disappointed because other reviews seemed so good. Can't speak to other food or dine in experience as we are just visiting, but at the very least I would avoid this one particular dish
This is not even a Thai food restaurant. The chef had no clue what Thai food was, probably no idea how to cook too. We ordered three different dishes, Nothing tasted good, and extremely dry and salty. The curry was like water. The restroom was filthy! I am so concerned of the foods they served.

Food was brought out for one person, and that person had time to finish their meal before the second person was served. We saw this happen at every table. This was around 6:30PM. Food was of low quality and poor taste. This is my 3rd time here over several years and it gets worse every time. I'll never be back. We brought up the food delivery timing to the owner and she laughed and cackled. Stay away or you'll be sorry.
