Great place to have dinner with your friends and family. The staff their is very nice and it’s a beautiful location near the water.

Excellent experience. Came here for the first time on a work sponsored dinner. Very professional staff and very good service even though our party was over 100 people. I will definitely be coming here again. The photo is the private room upstairs

The Waters Edge at Giovannis is and always will be a special place for me. I met JoAnn and Sal 35 years ago when they did my wedding and now history repeated itself with my daughters wedding on 12/27. They are a beautiful couple and you feel the warmth the minute you walk in. JoAnn's assistant, Natalie is a "STAR". She is professional, attentive, knowledgeable and has a heart of gold. She loves her job and it shows. Their staff was there everytime I turned around almost as if they knew I had a question. Evan always had a smile on his face and made sure everything was going smoothly. There are not enough words to express the gratitude I have for the entire Giovannis Family.

I came here for a wedding reception and the staff here was extremely courteous and attentive. They would check up on the room frequently to make sure everyone was tended to. The food was cooked so well from the Salmon to the Steak, everything was delicious! The venue also has a ton of sanitation stations so you can wipe off anytime you feel the need to. The valet parking was a plus, personally I don't like having someone drive my car but if the place is super busy and there isn't much parking then it's a necessary evil. All in all a very enjoyable time here!

I have celiac disease and Waters Edge is my go to restaurant. They are very careful in prepping my food and making sure there is no cross contact. I have never had a problem. I once wanted the shrimp scampi but knew the sauce would have flour so the owner had the chef make a special sauce without flour for me - SO good! I've gone to their dinner and wine pairing events and accomadations were made for my meals. BTW - the wine and dinner pairing events are FABULOUS!! It's so nice to have a place to go to and be able to talk to servers and owners and know they take my dietary needs seriously.

Absolutely beautiful and amazing venue! Had my daughter's graduation party her. The room was phenomenal! The food is fantastic! People still talking about it! The staff on point and so helpful (Annie was wonderful), the bartender was a hit with everyone! And Sal, well, he was just terrific with everything! I had people from NJ, PA, LI and they can not get over it and still talk about what a beautiful and wonderful place. Already had an aunt book a party for Aug. Can't wait! Thank you guys!❤

The Waters Edge At Giovani’s’s was spectacular!!! The food was 5 star filet mignon so tender and cooked to perfection the Sea Bass was moist and flavorful and the stuffed chicken was tender and delicious Natalie helped with all the details of our wedding and recommended all the vendors that made our lives so easy when it came to planning a wedding! The music from Big Daddy Sean was amazing he really knows how to get everyone up dancing!! All the severs was excellent and the bartender! Lots of Thanks to Giovani’s’s and Natalie for maki g our special day so wonderful!!

I ordered a Mother’s Day broiled lobster dinner with appetiter, Salads, vegetables on Saturday as takeout to finish at home on Sunday, May 10, 2020. I was assured by George that all will go well and everything would be organized and I have to say he is a man of his word. We missed eating in the restaurant but what a fabulous meal we had. We used our air fryer to finish off the calamari and lobster tails. They were tender and absolutely delicious and the whole meal was so well organized and made for a wonderful dinner evening for us. I never thought that take out the turn out so amazing as this. We have been going to the Waters edge at Giovanni’s for 30 years and we have never regretted any time or any email. Love this place, love the staff, an absolute joy! A big thank you to the waters edge.

My family and I went out for dinner and as usual had a wonderful time. The food is always cooked perfectly to perfection. We had Douglas as our server and was excellent. We have had him before and was always pleased with the service from him. Hopefully when we return he will be our server again. He found out that it was my birthday and at the end of our meal surprised me with pumpkin pie. Thanks for a wonderful night.

My wife and I stopped by for lunch today, a Saturday. Everything was great. Giovanni, the owner, introduced himself, was very accommodating and checked on us personally during our meal. The food was very good, and a good value. The waiter was excellent, very professional, engaging, attentive and responsive. I enjoyed my steak, cooked as I requested, my wife enjoyed her Surf and Turf (steamed lobster and Filet Mignon). The dining room has wood paneling, clean linen -- and a nice, quiet environment. I have the impression that this is a family-owned and run institution, with tradition and personal touches, rather than a corporate or chain restaurant management. Very pleased; we'll be back.

We had our Wedding at The Waters Edge at Giovanni’s and could not be happier with the results. From the beginning Natalie took great care of us, hammering out every detail needed until the end of the wedding. Anything that we overlooked she was there to pick up the slack and advise us on what was needed. Any last minute changes were accommodated with haste! All of our guests had a great time, and everyone said the food was delicious, as it was. There were no hiccups and the staff was out of this world! Even JoAnne, one of the owners was very helpful on the wedding day! Do not overlook this hidden Gem!!!!

I am so grateful to have had my wedding reception (and bridal shower & rehearsal dinner) at The Waters Edge!! Each staff member went above and beyond to make this the most memorable and special day for us! Our guests are still raving about how incredible each aspect of our wedding was...from the food to the service! Sal, Chris, and Natalie helped us with each step of the planning process and Jasmine was a lifesaver jumping in to help me bustle my dress! I would highly recommend having your wedding, or any event, here because they will ensure that you and your guests have a wonderful experience that lasts a lifetime!!

Great restaurant. A lot of thought put into their menu. Was taken there for lunch and experienced their spiced infused olive oil with assorted breads and rolls... all prepared on the premises. A friend had a prenuptial dinner there a couple of years later. The choices of foods made this experience an adventure. Can't wait to get back to New York so that I can visit them again *****×10!!!

Excellent menu great old Italian food right on point You cannot miss with a great dinner of octopus or shrimp scampi or double cut lamb chops And many other such as veal and many othets It is a must try ! You will not ever be Disappointed and will go back for more . See you there !

I had such a wonderful experience at Giovanni’s! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The staff was absolutely incredible so kind, attentive, and professional, especially Juan, who truly stood out with his exceptional service. The owner was also very helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly. A special shoutout to Chris, who went above and beyond in helping me plan my baby shower. He was thoughtful, organized, and made sure every detail was just right. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was top-notch, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special day. I highly recommend Giovanni’s for any event. I’ll definitely be planning more events here in the future!

Company holiday party was enjoyed by all. Staff was very attentive and ensured the entire evening flowed without issue. Chris routinely checked in as did the staff. Everyone was lovely! Food was delicious! Decor/linen choices were perfect. There were multiple parties going on at the same time and it never felt as if we were competing. Only comment I would make is there could have been more valet to expedite the line of cars due to the multiple parties. Looking forward to our next party at waters edge!

The Waters Edge at Giovanni's is a beautiful place to celebrate memorable events of your life. We had a wonderful Birthday Anniversary here on April, 6 2025. Everything was organized perfectly, the food was delicious and the stuff was very helpful. I would like especially thank sales manager Natalie Longo for her great work in organizing our party!

This is a fine Italian steakhouse, seafood restaurant hidden in a fantastic event venue. Besides a great daily menu and specials, they have monthly, chef inspired, wine paring dinners that are unequaled in this area.

We had my mother's 80th birthday celebration here. Natalie and team were amazing and helpful when planning our special menu. Food was outstanding and the service was top notch. It was a wonderful evening.

Natalie and her team are absolutely incredible! I had the pleasure of working as a planner for a wedding at their venue, and the entire experience was seamless and flawless. Natalie’s attention to detail and organization are truly unmatched—she is always on top of everything and incredibly helpful throughout the planning process. Her expertise and efficiency made my job effortless, and I cannot recommend her enough!

This family owned restaurant is a rare experience from so many restaurants that are owned by restaurant groups. Here you meet the family, and their staff is “family”. While they are off the beaten path of restaurant rows, it is well worth the trip. The cuisine is well curated and the portions are generous. The wine dinners featuring various vineyards are really special. If you want a noisy experience with mediocre food, this it not your restaurant. P. S. I eat her once a week.

This restaurant is hands down the best you can find around. It is authentic Italian delicious fresh tasting tantalizing amazingly good food from start to finish! The service is TOP TIER. Our server entertained my 2 young kids 7 and 4 he made them laugh so much they still practice his jokes with the hand movements and we visited 2 weeks ago since I’m writing this review! From we were greeted by the manager to being seated everything was excellent!! I can’t wait to go back! We had the lamb, sea bass and chicken parm, meatballs, dessert! All were excellent!

This past weekend I had my daughter’s bridal shower at Giovanni’s. From booking through the end of the party, it was a seamless experience. The food, service and atmosphere was over the top. Special shoutout to the event planner Natalie. She was very attentive every step of the way to make the day perfect. Wouldn’t have pulled it together without her expertise. Thank you for making my daughter’s bridal shower a day to remember.

I worked with Natalie at Giovanni’s. She is amazing, accommodating, and doesn’t make you feel like you are bothering her when you pepper her with questions all day (I’m sorry Natalie!) We had a very unexpected circumstance that occurred which Natalie didn’t hesitate to work with us on. If you’d like stellar service with a coordinator that is really there for you, ask for Natalie. She’s amazing.

We had a funeral meal here last week and it was wonderful! The service was impeccable, the food delicious!!! I highly recommend to anyone from a dinner date to a larger party. We were seated outside under a tent because it was a large gathering, but it was still gorgeous on a hot day! A nice breeze off the water kept it very comfortable and there was no smell from the sound which was wonderful! The only thing I wasn't thrilled with was the dessert: it was a vanilla roll cake with chocolate mousse filling. But it could have just been that that was the preference of the hosts to serve that instead of one of their other dessert offerings.

There is nothing like starting off a celebratory dinner with laughter. From the moment we walked in the door we were treated like family. A special thank you to Douglas whose warm and friendly demeanor and kind assistance made us feel welcome. My husband and I have a year long bet going - the loser was to take the winner out to a famous steak house in NYC. We mutually changed our mind - we will be going to Giovanni's and Douglas, we will be asking to sit at one of your tables. Thank you for a memorable evening and a fabulous meal.

The Water's Edge at Giovanni's was the perfect place to host our wedding. JoAnn, Sal, and Natalie treated us like family and made the entire process from planning, tasting, to the wedding day absolutely seamless (and delicious). I can't recommend Giovanni's enough for weddings and events!

Nice venue to have a sweet 16 event. For vendors such as DJs have to come through the kitchen then into the service elevator. Event went well and all had a good time.

We had my parent's 70th anniversary at Giovanni's on a quiet Thursday night. There were eight people at the celebration and we felt like we had the room to ourselves. We all had various dishes and drinks. The staff was very accommodating as we had flowers sent in earlier in the day and an anniversary cake to be presented and served after the meal. When we arrived, the flowers and balloons were nicely displayed-exactly where we wanted them. Of special note, our server, Douglas was exceptional through the entire meal. It was not an easy group of guests (I didn't say mostly NYers), but Douglas handled their requests with grace. He made an excellent wine recommendation for this tough crowd and all were more than pleased. Our meals were excellently prepared and served seamlessly. Overall, an excellent dining experience in a welcoming atmosphere from Giovanni's. Thanks Sal, Douglas and staff! We look forward to our next meal there and so should you.

The venue is fine, restrooms are big and clean. The food is fine but simple traditionaal italian american, not fancy. They have a small bar in each room.

A little disappointed. Two of my shrimp cocktails were the shape of an O —- O for over cooked. The oyster were delightful. The octopus was well cleaned and coocked, the chickpea spread was way too watery I couldn’t tell if it was a ground buffalo dip, or a chickpea Hummus spread from the texture and acidic touch on it. First Halibut was overcooked, they sent a second one and it was Excellent- even the sweet potato mash was better and the egg batter crust was delightful. The crème brûlée was over cooked, a bit of a scrambled egg texture. I understand it’s winter time, and they had a banquet event going on all at the same time which I guess can chip away at main dining experience. Left a 50% tip because the hostess, Natalie, was wonderful and showed exceptional customer service! Valet gentleman was very kind!

Nice venue, steak was not seasoned at all, server didn't ask how I wanted it cooked, so he just assumed I wanted it dead and not cooked apparently. Can't really blame him though, we were right by the speakers and the music was really loud. So we had a hard time hearing each other.

I attended a private event here. I will give some stars for the young wait staff, who were really lovely. However, I had a really bad experience that people with food allergies, etc. should be aware of. I have celiac disease. For this reason, eating gluten makes me horrendously ill. The event hosts, therefore, kindly requested a gluten-free meal for me and assured me I would be taken care of. An older gentleman came out to serve my meal. He loudly announced its arrival from halfway across the room and made a big deal about it being a "special" meal such that it drew the attention of people sitting at tables all the way across the room. Then the server began to crack jokes about my food (!) until finally transitioning to another topic. He did 15 minutes of an attempted stand up comedy routine, and it got so awkward the other servers came by to try to save us the awkwardness by engaging him on our behalf. Meanwhile, my food was utterly without flavor. There was no seasoning. It was a generous portion, just no good. But I am 99% sure that my "gluten free pasta" had been cooked in gluten contaminated pasta water or otherwise cross-contaminated because by the time I got home I became violently ill. I was sick for the next three days. For this reason, I can say that this restaurant does not take medical dietary restrictions seriously or handle them appropriately or with privacy and discretion. I don't know why I had to endure being made into a total public spectacle only to still come home seriously ill.
