Best place nearby (Deltona)!!! Margaritas were 20/10 and their table-side guac experience is something you cant skip. Their guac is from another World. My waitress was Astrid and she was fantastic!!! Everything she recommended was delicious. Will be back for sure!

We stopped into Pepe Cantina in DeBary on Taco Tuesday, and what a great choice it was! For just $8.99, you get three tacos, and we tried the steak, chicken, and mahi mahi fish tacos. Each one came with its own fresh toppings that really brought out the flavors. The mahi mahi was especially impressive, fresh, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. We also shared the tostones with beef, which were topped with avocado sauce, purple cabbage, and queso fresco. The combination of flavors and textures made it a standout appetizer. To finish things off, we treated ourselves to dessert, which was the perfect sweet ending to an already fantastic meal. On top of the delicious food, the service truly made the experience special. Our server, Albi, was outstanding, friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The whole team at Pepe Cantina really made us feel welcome. Overall, our experience was excellent from start to finish. Cute place! Quite pricey, but worth it! I live about an hour out and would drive all the way out here just for the Jalapeño Poppers! The rest of the food was also amazing and so filling. Will definitely be back!

Our server was Adrianna and she was the best. All smiles! She greeted us promptly but was wonderful in that she didn’t hover near us waiting for us to give her our dinner selections. It was our first time at Pepe’s Cantina and we wanted to take it all in as well as enjoy our margaritas before we ordered our meal. Once we were ready, she took our orders quickly. My husband had a few questions about our drinks - they were delicious - and she answered them thoughtfully (she wasn’t abrupt with her answers!). And we found out she had made our drinks! (A raspberry/mint margarita, a mescal margarita and a mescal old-fashioned). Would we go back to Pepe’s Cantina? Absolutely! And, hopefully, be served by Adrianna!

It's not always easy accommodating a large party of over 20 but they made it look that way! Great service, delicious food and a fun atmosphere. We were there at 7pm on a Friday night so I'm not sure if that had something to do with it.... the music was pretty loud. The only negative thing I'd say is... I ordered the Coco-rita... while it was pretty good it, it was mostly ice... very little drink... for costing $14 it's kind of a rip-off. Other than that, we were all very happy with our experience there. Something that shocked me was just how good their fries were!

The service here is top tier, the vibe and ambience is present, and genuinely the best styled food in the area. While it may be pricey it is definitely worth every penny.

I have been coming to Pepe’s ever since it first opened. I have NEVER had a bad meal or experience. All the food is top shelf in creativity, appearance, portion and most of all delicious. I am always trying something new and always extremely satisfied. Just give it one try and it WILL become your new favorite. Guaranteed!!!

We ordered their sirloin steak XXL burritos. Oh My God Delicious! Everyone complaining about Chipotle check this place out. Their burritos are the most flavorful and delicious you will have. Cannot wait to go eat here in person. Update: We went in person. Delivery was great, but in person was so much better! The staff is so attentive, and enthusiastic. This is our new spot for Mexican food. Everything is delicious, the prices are on point for the quality of food and portions.

My good friend and I shared the enchiladas: one chicken with spinach cream sauce and one burria with queso sauce. They were absolutely delicious!

First time eating here and it did not disappoint! Our server, Silvana, was great and attentive. We ordered the fresh tableside made guac and it was perfection. I ordered the Chimichurri steak and it was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. We look forward to coming back.

The shrimp tacos are amazing, the food is always fresh, the staff is amazing! And I’ve been here several times and even for business meetings and the service is consistently excellent! DELICIOUS drinks, DELICIOUS food, and WONDERFUL service (Thank you Astrid!). I always say you can tell if a Mexican restaurant is going to be good based on their chips and salsa and cocktails and this did not disappoint! We will definitely be back :)

We were first-timers at Pepe’s Cantina, and our waitress Jane made the experience fantastic. She was wonderfully attentive from start to finish — always checking in at the right moments, super friendly, and quick with anything we needed. Her service really made our brunch. We’ll definitely be coming back!

My new favorite restaurant. Fiancé got the Hawaiian Fajitas and the presentation was gorgeous and she loved the food. My Birria Tacos were cooked perfectly as well. Amazing food and while a little expensive absolutely worth the cost. Staff was extremely friendly and professional as well. Highly suggest going here. I am looking forward to coming back and trying more of their menu.

Had the chicken and spinach entree and it was absolutely delicious. Sonia was our waitress and was so incredibly attentive and fast . There was never an empty glass on our table . Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great meal with great service

The service and the food is outstanding. Our waitress Jane was so nice and attentive. I moved to Debary over a year ago and it was our first time. My only regret is that we didnt go sooner. This is now our favorite place.

It was my boyfriend and I‘s first time here. We just moved to DeBary last month and we wanted to try something new. Jane was super helpful and thorough and helped us out with the menu. The habanero house hot sauce is totally worth trying. It is a slow burn, but super flavorful. She made a lot of great suggestions and dinner was fantastic. Everyone who was working this evening was super helpful and super attentive to our table. We will definitely be back.

Pepe Cantina gave me one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in a while. The atmosphere was bright and welcoming, and the whole place felt comfortable the moment I walked in. Our waitress, Jane, made the visit even better. She was friendly, patient, and really knew the menu. She checked on us often without being annoying, and she made sure our food was perfect. The meals were fresh, full of flavor, and came out quickly. The tacos were seasoned well, the rice and beans were delicious, and the drinks were refreshing. It was clear that the kitchen and staff take pride in what they do. Overall, Pepe Cantina is a great place to eat, and Jane’s amazing service made it even more enjoyable. I would definitely come back and recommend it to others.

Had dinner with my wife and my mom. My first time here, although my mom and wife had been here before and said they enjoyed it. I had the chicken tacos, mom had the chicken enchiladas, and my wife had the beef taco salad. All were very good. Chips and queso were also a good start. My wife had a Sangria with dinner and said it was tasty. It came recommended by our server Sonia who was great! Sonia was very attentive, had good recommendations for our food, and efficient. All of the employees we came in contact with were friendly and welcoming. We will defined be back.

They had gluten free delicious birria, vegan options, table made guacamole so I could have no onions AND yummy Margaritas!!! Nice modern style and details. Nice staff. Adele was a wonderful server!!! Easy to get seated on Friday night!!! Definitely coming back!!! All points of happiness met!!!

First time at this hidden gem. First, the modern decor is so cute!! Second, the attentiveness of the waitresses and manager was top tier. Third, the drinks were AMAZING! And fourth, the food was insane! So many mexican restaurants around, but this place knocked my socks off! So so fresh, so tasty, so delicious. You can tell everything is made to order and fresh. This will be our new spot!! 10000/10 highly recommend!!!!!

Stopped for lunch after seeing the manatees at Blue Spring State Park. Nice lunch menu with good options. Everyone loved their food. I had carnitas enchiladas topped with poblano sauce, it came with beans and rice. Very flavorful and tender carnitas with a good poblano sauce. My husband had beef enchiladas topped with mole sauce, very tasty mole, a bit sweet however spiced perfectly. Our visitors from England raved over how good their dishes were. The free salsa they serve is a tomato cilantro blend and we had two servings, it was served with warm chips. Very attentive service, definitely recommend!

This place was nice and the staff was very friendly. I truly enjoyed the ambiance. For the meal, I had the taco salad and honestly would not recommend it, hence the lower raiting on food . The bowl, however, my husband liked it alot and it was a very generous portion. My fam enjoyed the guac as well!

My husband and I had dinner here on 11/21/25, I had the bowl with chicken, my husband had the XXL burrito, the food and customer service is on POINT. Our server and the manager checked on us quite regularly to make sure our food was good and that we were comfortable. Excellent food and service, we will be back. 🥰

Expensive. I spent $36 with tip for a vegan fajita and 1 house margarita. The food, drinks and service were good but nothing to write home about. Overall, the place is bright, loud and over-priced. Considering how empty it was on Friday at dinner hour, I suspect the locals have already figured this out.

I decided to try Pepe's cantina for bite30 and I thought everything was just okay. I went ahead and placed my order all at once but I didn't expect everything to be brought out all at once. So let's start off with the Mexican street corn. It was my first time having Mexican street corn and I really didn't care for the mayonnaise I think it was on the corn. It kind of tasted a little sour I'm not sure. The entree I chose was the birria tacos and they were warm they seemed like they weren't exactly fresh. Lastly I chose the churros for dessert and they were pretty good but they did taste a little like they'd been in the freezer. Overall it wasn't a terrible experience but it definitely wasn't for me.

We absolutely loved this restaurants. The service was excellent very prompt to every need. They made sure all my food was no cross-contamination. I got a virgin Pina colada, three cheese Enchiladas with been and rice. Queso, fresh guacamole made in from of us. Wife had big piece of chicken with red sauces and cheese. It was an amazing meal but the portions were small so all the cheese and guacamole helped. The only reason I didn't give five stars was the price and serving sizes. I was surprised it was over a 100.00 dollars without dessert. If we had both gotten dessert it would have been almost 150.00 dollars. The food was excellent but the portions and price was over rated. If it was in Disney I would expect those prices but in Debary, FL no. Would I recommend this restaurant? Yes and no Would I return? Maybe Maybe

Stopped by this local (looks like new) Mexican spot to give it a fair shot and see what it had to offer. The experience was a bit of a mixed bag — some highs, a few lows, and a few things that left me unsure if I’d return. Arrival & Service: I was greeted and seated right away, which was a solid start. But once I sat down, things slowed to a crawl. It took about five minutes before anyone approached — and even then, there was no offer for drinks, just chips, salsa, and water dropped off without any follow-up. Eventually, someone came to take my order, but it was pretty abrupt — no small talk, just straight to “what are you getting?” Throughout the meal, I had three different servers, including the hostess who originally seated me — which was a bit disorienting. I had to ask for Pepsi refills, and oddly, no one offered a water refill at all. The service felt disconnected and inconsistent overall. Food: I went with the beef steak fajitas with Queso Fundido, served with corn tortillas (as requested). The plate was well-presented, and the rice and beans were nicely seasoned and flavorful. My only gripe? The portions of guac and pico de gallo were on the skimpy side — would’ve liked a bit more, especially for fajitas. But taste-wise, no real complaints — the food was solid. Atmosphere: This spot doesn’t give off a traditional Mexican restaurant vibe. It leans more into a tropical Latin aesthetic, with glowing neon signs and modern glam-style decor. If you’re into a more lounge-like feel, you might enjoy it. Personally, it felt a little out of place for the type of food they serve — almost like the vibe and the cuisine were speaking different languages. Overall, The food is worth trying — especially if you’re craving fajitas with decent flavor. But the slow, scattered service and the unusual atmosphere may not be for everyone. If they can tighten up the front-of-house flow and align the vibe a bit more with the menu, this place could stand out a lot more.

The food was not good tonight. Fish was completely dried out in the tacos yes severly overcooked, unedible. Garlic shrimp had zero garlic flavor, what a joke. Corn tacos were like leather. The food was stale and tasteless. The service was uneven and inattentive, to be nice. I've had okay food and service in this place a few months ago, but not tonight. They were not busy at all, but service and food delivery very slow and not good.
