We had a huge order and the young man helping us was very helpful and patient explaining the menu. He was very friendly and made sure that we had more than enough extras for the order. Food came out piping hot and fast! We will be back! Keep up the good work!!

Had the salad.pasta and personal pan with a drink... staff was very polite and restaurant and men's room was very clean. Food was really good and served in a timely manner. Definitely dinning in again if I'm ever in town.

Great customer service. The fact that there has been a recall on roman lettuce, that Pizza Hut is the only restaurant that has followed the rules. They discontinued ALL salads just incase it was infected. Thank you for your great service.

I mean, it's pizza hut, pizza was awesome, wings were good, and the Alfredo pasta was good. Our server (which may also be the manager..? I'm not sure) was very positive. She had a lot on her plate and kept moving, but she was very professional and kind. She was awesome.

We have ordered from Pizza hut several times in the last few months and every time we have had an excellent experience. We choose contact less delivery for safety reasons. Our order has been perfect and exactly what we asked for. The order was delivered in a timely manner ( less than 30 minutes). Highly recommend.

I’ve been coming here for years. The food quality has always been superb. Pizza is fresh, and crispy, and the wings manage to always have the perfect amount of crisp. Overall, it’s a great experience and I would recommend either take out or dine in.

I've not had too many problems. Once the place ran out of straws. Another time they ran out of sugar packets. Still the point is the pizza and it's never let me down.

It was good, we ordered the stuffed crust, one pepperoni and the other one pineapple, pepperoni, and beef! I recommend it! I would just prefer it a little bit more crunchy or well done in my liking, other than that it was great!

Well, the things that were free, we now have to purchase.i don't know about that. But I guess if you want it you'll pay. The pizzas could use a little more taken care of, sometimes comes out really awesome and tasty, a lot of the times it comes all kinds of messed up. Trust me, I order from several different pizza huts. All the same at times.

They charge for water same price as soft drink. Pizza was decent this time. Delicious alfredo pasta. Old salad, soggy tomatoes and the left over crouton crumbs.

It's a nice little place. It's clean and newly remodeled. I do have to point out that the west side of the building it's very chilly and when we kindly asked that they please turn the vent another way or shut them. A employee replied with "No they are broken!" Very rude. Right before we left the same employee reached up and closed the vent for another customer. Thier pizza wasn't as crisp as we would have liked but my father absolutely raved about thier sausage and pepperoni pizza. He loved it. Pros and cons but we will most likely be back for carry out.

Food was no issue. 3 tables all together, easy for one server right. Had to refill my drink myself 3 times, could not find server. When walking to the one stale restroom, found her sitting in the front playing on her phone 👎

Upon receiving my delivery order over half an hour later than projected, it was found one of my pizzas was made incorrectly. I had ordered mushrooms and none were on the pizza. Also, the pizza had six pepperoni slices and 43 slices of jalapenos. Pretty sure this is not the appropriate ratio for a large pizza. Finally, I also ordered two 20 ouunce bottles of Dr. Pepper and both arrived at room temperature. If there were any issues, the store should have called or reached out to me. The service did not match the previous visits I have made. Hope this does not continue.

Not all the drinks were working on the drink fountain. Two mistakes with our order, but the pizza and breadsticks were very good.

My pizza was kind of empty on the cheese. I'm glad I didn't pay for extra cheese, otherwise I would've been more disappointed. At least the cheese sticks with bacon were good.

Good food, very nice cashiers but I'm just not used to the whole change of how this restaurant works now. There no longer are servers, you order your food first, pay, then seat yourself. You serve your own drinks, parm cheese/red pepper. Seems like it transitioned more to a fast food restaurant. I was confused after the fact I left a tip as it was prompted on my receipt yet no one really tended to us other than bring our food. The menu offers a salad bar option but then this establishment doesn't have one, just garden salads. I was more confused than appealed.

Oh my, it smelled bad it might be the carpet. I saw many roaches in the dining room and restroom. And the waiter went 2 times including to take our order, luckily the coke fountain is accessible to customers.

place skips on the dough...literally!. used to order pan pizzas from this location bout 4 years ago but stopped due always getting thin crust pizzas instead. complained to manager and said dough was "pre-measured" for specific sizes. they forget pan means a thicker crust...can't use same amount of fresh dough. just tried this place again 2 weeks ago..yes 2 pan pizzas for 6.99 each. yes....flat pizzas again. good thing Dominoes is next to it...been ordering from them mostly the last four years.

As usual, food was very good, on top of good service. But the walls, windows, and even picture frames, looked disgusting and greasy. The wall wrap is coming off, and almost all seats are torn. If the food wasn’t that good, we wouldn’t come back after seeing the restaurant’s condition.

I always get very poor quality from this location, specifically delivery since I have never dined in here before. I have complained and it took 3 weeks to hear back from a manager. Problems have been no cheese on the pizza, poorly prepared, or downright cold when I get it. No one seems to care when I call back to complain, they just replace it and offer nothing more.... poorly managed. I have resorted to ordering carry out from the Closner location since their staff seems to be a bit more with it.

Do not honor online pricing, inaccurate order prep, staff lack of knowledge about products. Now they charge $.49 a packet of parm cheese. No longer taking business here. The food quality is consistent with other chain locations. The crust is soaked in grease. More like fried bread than baked pizza dough. Very American style. Scant amount of toppings, no real variation in topping choice. No quality control you can randomly get pizza is missing half of the toppings. The only reason a chain like this still exists is due to cultural aspects of this part of the country. There is a high demand for fried carbohydrates. Would not survive in a more upscale Market

It was hot; you won't be seated; you order and pay first, then you sit down where you want. There was no salad bar. The environment changed for the worse, that it prompt me to ask if it was under new management. The young lady who answered, said yes, as of two years ago. She was sweating as she worked and it was a cool night. The environment is dark and instead of being a relaxing place, it was a little tense as there was no one to come and ask what we needed. The positive note was that the lady helped us get a coupon to use. Its not a place I would go to again.

I came to carry out. I placed my order at 7:34. I waited for my name to be called when my pizza was ready. Tell me why at 8:04 I hear my name being called out and my pizza being pulled out of the bag they use to keep pizza warm. I asked the cashier how long my pizza has been sitting there? She responded idk but here is your pizza. She even told me its hot. Not to my surprise, I open my box to check the pizza out. The pizza is cold. Really disappointed. I came to pick up a pizza to watch the game. And now I'm missing the first half of the game.

I called and the lady was asking if I was calling the one on university? It's sounds like a call center. She proceeded to give me the specials for carry out, when all I wanted was a pizza with no sides. Only to find out that a two topping is $17.00. Really???? Switching pizza restaurants.

Worst service arrive 3 minutes early for my pizza waited 15 minutes after screen showed ready. While there a done in customer had to get up & ask for service. When I got home a 5 minute drive my pizza was no where near as hot as a pizza just out of the oven should be. Very disappointed. Money wasted. 😠😠😠

Worst customer service every. They over charge for everything. Last time my family and I are going. Never got my wife's order right took three try still was not right. Pizza taste like cane tomato soup. We ended up at the hospital with food poisoning. Thanks pizza hut. I needed that extra bill.

I ordered a large all pepperoni half jalapeño and when opening the box the jalapeño was on more than half of the pizza. I went ahead and removed the jalapeños off some slices, no biggie. My boyfriend then grabbed a slice and as soon as he lifted it, all of the cheese and toppings just slid off because of the amount of sauce that was out on our pizza. We did not request extra sauce, but there was so much on the pizza that even holding it with two hands did not help the toppings stay on. We still tried to eat it, but it was just way too much sauce so we ended up having to order from somewhere else.

Hope you do not expect you food in a timely manner. This pizza hut is incompetent and to make it worse when you call in an order you done even get a store associate instead you get a call center which puts you on hold for 10mins. Plus corporate has decided to remove it self from responsibility by making costumer sever so online log in situation. Way to go pizza hut you have true failed in costumer service.

We were very fustrated with the online and phone call order....I do not recommend calling in your order because we were transferred to some other call center that isn't even aware of the local specials...never again! We get faster and easier service when buying a 5 dllr pizza 😤

My pizzas were burnt

I ordered at exactly 10:22 pm Nov 20, 2019 and my order never got delivered at all it is now 11:42 pm I know the store closes at 11:00 pm but I know my order got accepted and was placed ahead of time before they closed. I called customer service to get my refund this was a bad pizzahut experience.

Driver forgot our pizza and I hope it wasn’t the manager we just talked to, but it was some lady with no professional skills what so ever. Instead of remaking our pizza they forgot to bring it, they left it out to get old and thought it was okay to give it to me like that. My family and I are never wasting our money here again. And the lady we talked to barely said anything to us not even and bye or thank u, just kept putting us on hold. Never again.

My order was messed up, I went back to get it remade. An employee said I could keep the pizza that was messed up and to wait in the car while the other pizza was getting made, however soon after the manager asked a different employee to take back the pizza. I felt it was completely unfair as not only did they went back on their word, I had to wait even longer to get my correct order. As a hungry pregnant lady, I was extremely upset waiting nearly 40min to get my food. I would have been satisfied if they didn't mess up in the first place, and if they kept their word about keeping the incorrect pizza.

If I could give this location negative stars, I would. The service for curbside is always, without fail, absolutely terrible. I always end up having to get out and go in, which would be fine if I didn't have my kids with me. Wth is curbside for if you're not going to ever answer the phone or check if people are waiting for their food or not?

Picked up a large 3 topping pizza tonight. I was blown away. It looked more like a cheese pizza with a few pepperoni pieces on it. I was told they now reduce the toppings by 20% when they add more toppings. (10 yr old says there were 16 ultra thin slices of pepperoni, 12 tiny mushroom pieces and 6 onion bits. Also it appeared that 8 pieces of pepperoni had been removed after the pizza was cooked.) That's 2 pizzas in a row that Pizza Hut on University and Sugar should be ashamed of. I will not order from there again.

After arriving to restaurant and clicking I am here on the app over 10 minutes pass and costumers got in and out with their pizza. Call the store they say first that could not find the order and in matters of seconds they say that it was ready and to just wait in the car. waited another 2 minutes got down and I was told that I needed to sign and that they did not know why and that was the reason they could not take it to the car. I done this transaction dozens of times in another location and never had to sign anything. The attendant was rude in tone and manners. The pizza was there all the time, I do not understand why they just did not take it to the curbside delivery and if I had it signed something don it at the car. It was already paid on the app like all previous ones that I had purchase.

As a customer who always comes here. Service is worse and worse. U ask why I keep coming is because it's closest to my job and home. It's rare if they get the order right. Even dine in I asked for a Pepsi. It was flat. I changed to Dr pepper, root beer, sr mist. All flat...told the lady said "sorry it's the machine". Couldn't she tell me earlier. I bought there bottled drinks which at this point she should of offered but had to pay extra for.

Received my one pizza cold and 1hr late during my curbside pickup. When I went inside they ignored me and only greeted people coming in behind me. They female employees even started chatting and went to the back with their phones so I had no choice but to call the location while I was literally right in front of them as they came to answer it.

This was the worst experience of my life. I have never been to a pizza hut that was so unorganized. When i first got there the worker was running all over the place trying to get everyone’s order. There was a lack of workers and it took forever to get attended. Finally we place the order once we were sitting down and we wait for a whole hour while we see everyone else get their food which they had came after us. The worker comes and tells us she will check on our order after a whole hour of waiting and then she just never comes back. I go up to her and tell her it’s been an hour and she says “Really, omg ?!?” like if she had no idea. Like um didn’t you just go check on our order like 20 minutes ago ??? So then she comes back to our table and says “Your order wasn’t processed” So i was in SHOOK AND INFURIATED!!!!! We had been there for a whole hour or more just to get told that our order wasn’t processed. KEEP IN MIND that everyone and their grandmas had gotten their food already even though they came after us. This service was horrible and i do not recommend to anyone. This is the worst pizza hut i have ever gone to. so horrible that it is literally the first time i am making a review because of how furious I am.

Food is good, but that's it. This Pizza Hut has a Peter Piper Pizza type format, with out the games. You have to order and pay first, then sit down to wait for order. I am a drinker and like to drink before I eat, because my family was with me I had to figure out how many bottles of beer I was going to drink in advance (i was off on my guess). Yea, not for me. Another issue, marinara sauce that came with bread sticks was ice cold, they could have at least microwaved it. Would have been better off at Peter Piper Pizza so I could saved money on beer and my kids could play games. This location has turned me off and I will not be returning. ***Update*** 25 minutes before closing, one of the cashiers came to a table and says, "just so you know... we close at 12..." and walks away. Um, thanks, I am still eating my pizza. They actually brought our desert in a To Go Box with 30 minutes left before closing.

The absolute worst service ever. These people need to learn to speak, and their customer service is laughably sub bar. check your pizza to make sure they cook it well enough, I would not recommend this place.

My family and I had a terrible experience last night. The restaurant was very understaffed and we waited for over 30 minutes just to get our drinks. When we finally received our food, we requested plates and were told they did not have any plates. We used napkins in place of plates. The people next to us waited 2.5 hours to receive their order. A patron was angry and fighting with the staff. Her food was given to another table and the waiter kept taking wrong orders to her table. Last night was Halloween, so I hope the manager just miscalculated the necessary staff, and that this is not the norm. I would have given them 0 stars, but the app would not allow me to continue without choosing at least one star.

Don't put curbside option online, make your customers waste time to add their vehicle information only to tell them when they get there that your employees are not allowed to go outside the store because of bad weather. That's terrible customer service, especially is there's no bad weather at all. No snow, no rain. 39°clear skies is not considered bad weather. Pig you're understaffed then it's time to hire more people. Not time to neglect providing good customer service.

Had eaten pizza from here before last year and was very tasty and exceptional. However, a week and a half ago I ordered pizza from this pizza hut and immediately that day my whole family got the most horrible food poisoning from the Chicken Alfredo and pizza we ordered. When we called to complain the excuse was a new employee had handled the order and already been supposedly terminated. My family and I are still sick and it's the worst experience we have ever had and worst mistake giving Pizza Hut a try again instead of a competitor. Will never eat here again. Not even if it was for free or I was paid to. Absolutely never. Their negligence in preparing the food has caused my entire family the most painful never ending food poisoning. Buy a frozen pizza instead don't eat there. Or eat at your own risk. But be warned. Being sick for multiple weeks is not how I wanted to start my summer nor my family.

This pizza hut is the absolute worst I have ever dealt with. They messed up my order. Refused to fix it. I spent 40.00 on 2 medium extra soggy pizzas and a small order of wings. The food was disgusting. I have never had an issue with a pizza hut before. I will never give them my business again. I will tell anyone who will listen how horrible they were as a business and the best pizza hut is the Jackson location. NEVER again for the sugar location.

15 minutes and 31 seconds I waited for someone to say something. The phone was picked up, but it wasn't hung up, no one asked me to hold or to take my order and it seemed like there's no intention of checking on the phones when it does ring. The entire time I was patiently waiting for someone to either hang up on me or apologize and take my order, I heard the phone ring 3 separate times and each time was ignored. I've worked at Pizza Hut before, a different location, and I know when no one at the store picks up the phone, it goes to the call center. That was some time back, I can't hold the same protocol to be true. But this much I can say: No one was intending on answering the phone tonight. Someone is to blame and it's either the workers near the phones, the assistant manager who should be answering if present or the manager who should be picking better employees. Whatever the case is, why would I want to bother after this unsavory "interaction"

Had no issue with service but they need to hire better cooks. First they mess up on our order and bring out half of the pizza (literally half the pizza.) So they make us a new one that is raw in the middle after we asked them for it to be well done and missing cheese as well. They take it and bring it back and it's obviously been run through the oven again. Now it's burnt with no cheese. I guess the plus side is that the cheese bread was good.

The $10 New Yorker special is trash. It's nothing compared to when you pay full price. It's absolutely downgraded. What a shame. I expected better than this piece of paper. Look at this. The box weighed the same after taking the pizza out. Try it!! I want everyone to be as disappointed as I was 🤣🤣

This is the second time that we dine in and most tables are dirty. There was only one waitress at the register attending all people picking up. They forgot about us. They desperately need to hire a bus boy and another waitress, but from I understand, they’re not hiring. Corporate needs to pay them a visit!!!

For 2 years, this has consistently been the WORST Pizza Hut in the valley. I don't know why or how, but this place hires the lowest of low when it comes to employees. They not only mess up our orders, they do it on purpose. Every. Single. Time. It's gotten so bad with our deliveries that I refuse to order delivery anymore and I personally pick it up and inspect it before I take it home. The employees are ALWAYS rude, always nasty, and if you don't tip them at least 10 bucks, they will do something like cut your pizza wrong or not include the sauce with your breadsticks. Not ONCE has this place EVER included sauce with our breadsticks if it is delivery. Maybe if you didn't hire the most low-class, laziest, most entitled people on earth, you would get better tips. But to purposefully treat people like trash and still expect tips is ridiculous. This is the worst Pizza Hut in the valley, or at least one of the worst. If it has gone this long with such abysmal service, it'll never change.

I ordered pizza for delivery at 8:34 pm and I didn't receive my pizza until 9:48 pm even though they said it would only take 28-34 min, then once the pizza arrived it was unfortunately cold. Very disappointing experience. They are normally quite good when I pick up but with delivery, it was very poor.

I did a carryout in this location (first time ever picking up here). I went in to pick up my order. As soon as I got to the counter there were so many ANTS on the counter and on the wall. When the staff member put the box on the counter. I immediately picked it up. I was so disappointed and a little disgusted with the cleanliness of the place. Never again!

Walked in at 7p with a pregnant friend. We were the only table, and the waiter was completely unattentive other than to pressure us to leave. She started vacuuming pretty much on our feet, insisting on the spot next to us ( @9p they close at 12a) Since we didn't take the hint, a second later the manager comes to ask if everything is alright? 'Since we hadn't paid the tab' and asking us 'why not?'. Saying that they've had incidents of people not paying in the past ??? The manager(?) Seemed to be turning away guests attempting to dine in, at the register. Telling them they weren't taking dine in orders anymore (@9p) There was ants on the windowsill, the place smelled musty, our waiter had a mystery guest (15yr old girl sitting in a booth next to us) not dining and constantly stopping by to talk to said girl, spider webs in the female rr. And at the end, the manager shamelesly asks if we're gonna tip. ?? Its no wonder this location is always empty. Rude, lazy, shameless, and accusatory staff.

I ordered online and when I arrived I told that my order was not ready it would be ready 5 to 10 minutes. While I waited, I heard someone burp behind the counter. He was a bald guy with headphones on. When he came out of the kitchen, I asked for a refund and he couldn’t open the register and told me that he would give me a gift card and I told him no that I paid cash and I want cash. His response was well if I can’t open the register I can’t give it to. He had to go to the bank to get cash to pay me back. The other employee name was Andrea. She wasn’t helpful at all. I will never go back to that Pizza Hut.

First it looked like there was only 2 employees working and at first I didnt mind the wait to get my order of personal pizzas but when I got home and my toddler started eating hers she spit it out and started saying hot hot hot and kept drinking water. My husband waited 30 minutes for a pan pizza, only to be told after all that time that they ran out of dough. Seriously? That’s completely unacceptable. If you’re out of something, let the customer know upfront — don’t waste their time. Do better.

Stay away! I had ordered carryout, walked in an waited at the counter for 10 minutes without seeing a worker. I step into the back behind the register and ask the guy there(light complected guy) to help but he just stays staring at me. This lady server then comes flying into the kitchen, tells me she'll be right with me, finishes eating her boneless wings, licks her fingers, doesn't wash her hands and then takes food out to people at a table. She never comes over to help me and I had to step towards the back and get that deer in the headlights worker to help me. What a crew you guys have here! There was a manager making pizzas and I called to her, we made eye contact and she went back to making pizzas. There was only ONE table, it wasn't swamped.

I recently ate at this pizza hut and we were a group of ten and the waitress didn’t even ask for our drinks only to look at the menu. Well time passed and WE severed our drinks ourselves. we saw other tables with REAL plates while we were using PAPER plates. I DO NOT recommend this pizza hut for the service. Food was good.

Thank you Pizza Hut for ruining our Valentine's Day. After waiting for 10 minutes we finally got our order taken by Andrea. We then waited 10 minutes for cheese sticks and drinks. After having waited 30 minutes we kept seeing tables around us getting their pizzas but we never did. My kids were looking forward to a heart shaped pizza but it never came. People who showed up way after us kept getting their food but our pizza never came. I tried to contact corporate about this but corporate simply tells you thank you for your money we don't care via machine. Horrible horrible experience.

More times than not something wrong with our order from this location. Just this month, 12/9: Delivery order missing 2L drink. Tonight: Burnt pizzas. I’ll stick to McAllen locations from now on.
