This churches has really nice staff especially a young lad he's so helpful his name is Alexis!!! and I could tell he goes above and beyond in his work! I wanted a strawberry pie and he did not have any at the moment but he went to go check a back freezer and found some and asked me if I wanted to wait for the pies to thaw out a little bit I said sure!! He gave me a drink of my choice while I waited 😊 and of course I chose sweet tea because they make the best sweet tea here at churches! I now got my two strawberry pies and some icing on the side was so awesome! I recommend coming here and even before this experience I have always had a great experience here 👌🤩 thank you so much churches for your amazing delicious chicken and amazing staff. 👏

Thank you for making our order even though we ordered 30 minutes before close (10pm). We stopped at another location before (McColl/Edinburg) and they flat out told us they weren't making chicken anymore although it was 9pm. Thank you to Emiliano and the rest of the employees at this location who did their job and served food until close. I recommend this church's location because the crew's work ethic is GREAT. I was very satisfied with my experience at church's chicken. The cashier here is very respectful. She treatd you like family and provided a welcoming environment to the community. Jacqueline or aka 'jackie', the cashier, quickly provided me a response of what items were avalible since my visit was like 30 minutes prior to closing.

What I love the most is the chicken strips with fresh gravy, fresh cole slaw, fresh biscuit and with a large foam lemonade drink with lots of ice and I must have my 12 jalapeno bombers that are so delicious 😋

Every evening I have come recently , I have been greeted by Briana’s smiling voice! Yes you can hear her smiling thru the speaker!! Two nights a week I’m out of work late and I stop by for quick family dinner. Briana always tells me what specials are out and suggests new menu items! I’ve been coming here for years but haven’t met another employee like her. This place is always clean (unlike the one by Trenton and mccoll) and food is always great! I drive the extra 11 minutes to this location and Briana and this team make it worth the drive!

As Churches chicken goes, this one in Edinburg, off university near 281 is a good one. They served their food hot and fresh. The chicken was crispy and not oily. The biscuits were fresh and crispy, and the place was immaculate. I’ll recommend this one for now.

I got tenders but one was under cook. I tried to tear it in half and it was acting like rubber. Food supposed to be cooked all the way. They don't serve dirty rice like others churches chicken

I give it a four stars because it has a good location, its clean, has a drive through, and food is good. If it wasnt for the fact that I ordered and forgot to mention wether it was take out or not, they decided to not ask me, give it to me for take out and on top of that missed the cole slaw which I had to ask for and once I did they mentioned I was missing 1 buscuit since it was baking and they take 10 mins.

Ordered a big family meal, and some extras. Didn't mind the extra wait for fresh chicken and fish. Forgot something in my order, but was glad to attend to it and gave me 2 extra biscuits. Would've preferred an apple pie or a drink for the inconvenience, just saying. Thank you, Churches 👍

Every time I go to a churches, there are either dead roaches in the lobby or in your food. This time, it was in the lobby.

Good food. Employees forget our mix up orders. Tables are messy and floor was dirty

They are pretty fast in giving you the food your ordered but always forget sides you choose .

Food wasn't that good and they gave me a 2 piece when I ordered and paid for a 3 piece.

The food was cooked hot and fresh, the service was great, it could be a little cleaner but the fresh food hot mash potatoes won me over. 3 stars. ⭐clean outside ⭐custom service⭐ great food. They miss 2 stars bathroom was not clean. And dinning room could have been better.

Forgot extra biscuits we ordered and they charged us. Tried calling and phone off the hook. Tried several times and always busy. After leaving post got a call from a general manager explaining phone line not working and will have the missing biscuits as well as an extra order waiting for me at my convenience.

The drive thru menu wasn't lit upn so we had to order directly at the window. They messed up our order, even after repeating it back to us twice. The "7 minute" wait turned into almost 20 minutes. They gave us an extra side to compensate, so we would have been very happy if they had given us the correct food.

Electronic board said a promo that employees inside didnt want to serve. When I ask for manager, she agreed to serve the promo, but refused to talk to me. Very disappointed

Don't visit this place if you're in a hurry, the 3 times I have visited here is the same result. Weather it be after lunch time or just before the dinner crowd, they always have you wait 8 to 12 min. if not longer because they always run out of cooked product. In my opinion, this isn't the employees fault, it's the managers incompetence that he or she can't figure out their busy times. Jmo

I use to love this place. I Had not purchased Church’s chicken in awhile. Quality has really declined. The flavor was very bland. Pieces of chicken were very small and mostly crust. Not to mention the higher prices. Disappointed.

Chicken was very dry look like it was under the heat lamp for a while...

4 orders pay 40 dollars. Chicken was over cook or refried. Plane flavor. I will not recommend this store.

Food is okay, service is bad I went through the drive thru and couldn't hear or understand what was being said. The equipment needs to be fixed so we can clearly understand the person. After ordering I couldn't understand them and turns out there was a 25 min wait on the CHICKEN

I don't recommend this particular Church's restaurant. Not even the convenience of being around the corner is enough to purposely find myself going to this location.

They completely messed up my order and the one thing they got right was old, cold and dry. We had to throw away $14 worth of food and when I called they never picked up the phone. Also didn't have anything spicy available and they wouldn't make it because it was almost closing time (I was there 40 mins before they close). The lady on the microphone was rude and rushed me through my order hence why she couldn't even get it right. I don't recommend going here or any other church's as this isn't the first time I have issues with Church's at different locations. Not worth it anymore.

Cook using her personal cell phone WHILE handling food. Her cell phone in one hand while she used the other. They told the customer before us they were out of spicy chicken. Told us they were out of spicy tenders. Not sure if they were out or cook was too busy on her personal cell to make any. 12/30/22 @6:20-6:24pm if anybody cares to check the cameras on that.

They never have white meat. They want to charge you white meat but give you leg and thighs. Also the biscuits are always hard. Customer service is bad too! The girls are never welcoming or nice. Worst place to buy food.

A fast food restaurant specializing in fried chicken runs out of chicken at 2pm. That's unacceptable. People are sitting in the drive thru line for over 20 minutes. And this is a daily occurrence. Whoever manages this store doesn't deserve that job.

The restaurant is dirty. The cashier was rude. No ice in the ice machine. Food all over floors. No clean tables. The sun comes thru the windows terribly making the dining floor extremely hot and uncomfortable to eat in. When I received my food the order was incomplete.

Customer service at this establishment is mind-blowingly bad. The blonde-haired young lady who assisted me clearly detests her job. She handed me my card and receipt with a condescending attitude, so much so that the receipt flew out the window. I always check my order before driving off, but before I could mention my missing items, she closed the window and walked away, leaving me speechless. I'll never return to this restaurant again! The manager needs to reconsider keeping this toxic employee on staff. No wonder this place is always empty.

Ordered here on Thursday April 18. Son got really sick was throwing up all night and had diarrhea the next day . He had to skip school on Friday . I’m calling the health inspectors on this location . Also customer service is horrible ! I hope this place gets shut down due to insanitary conditions. If I could I would give this location 0 stars ! Not eating here ever again .

I walked in and immediately walked out. There's was grease on all over the counter top of the divider and there was something spilling out of the trash cans. It did not look sanitary.

I came thru the drive thru and placed an order for a 5pc tender combo. I asked for no gravy and I asked for large fries and barbecue sauce . My fries were under cooked. I still had gravy and I had no barbecue sauce.

I don’t recommend going to this location especially if your going to redeem any rewards. There’s always an issue! And even when the app states something they will make you write your name on a paper like they don’t believe you. Very unprofessional and poor quality service that the rewards dont always work and its only this location. Like if the manager is going to get charged for a damn reward!!!

Went there with my daughter and Lost my appetite upon entering. There was liquids spewing from under the trash near the entrance. There was grease on the walls dividing the counter from the dining. The counter itself was nasty and there was an odor in the air and it was not food. Ya'll need to retrain and clean up.

Worst location ever the crew they had in the afternoon was horrible. None of the fountain machine drinks worked properly, they tried to over charge us for something we didn’t even order. They had a door dasher that was waiting for an order waiting for more than 15-20 min. And were giving everyone else their order even when they came in after him. They also had such anti social attitudes like they hated their jobs and didn’t even want to work. None of them had name tags on but it was 2 dudes with glasses and a young girl that were working that day at around 3pm. Never again will I ever tell anyone to come here and I will definitely not be back it seems to me they want to run off the customers more than get customers they had absolutely no decent customer service at all.
