Very awesome restaurant been coming here for years very nice Workers and cooks. The food is Very delicious 😋 and Tasty. I suggest this place if you're driving down Garvey and looking for a quick bit to eat. The Panda Waffles 🧇 are amazing! The Passion/Watermelon juice is fantastic 👌🏽. The other food is also very delicious 😋 don't want to misspell any entries. But please stop by its a very nice place for a quick bite ☺️

They're all ready for the pandemic. They have social distancing lines and the workers are wearing masks. I got some banh mi sandwiches and some egg rolls to go. All tasty. The parking lot and entry are not on Garvey. It's off of the small street.

Food was super fresh, hot and spicy. I wish the veggie rolls and the vegan rolls were cheaper.

Thoughts: Such affordable prices with delicious food and plenty of dining. I only spent 12 dollars for 3 banh mi sandwiches (9/10). One sandwich alone is super fulfilling and they even offer a combo with any drink?! (even boba). So many snacks/ice cream to choose from Opening time: They also open pretty early so it is my go to place for to-go meals when heading to work. Customer Service: Very kind staff <3 OVERALL: 10/10

Buy two sandwiches get one free? You can't beat that. These sandwiches are the best. You can also buy one Boba and get one free. All of that will cost you need than $22.

Food here is quick and decently priced. The prices DID go up alot! Eggrolls use to be $0.60 before covid. Now it's $1.10! Other items too did go up price, but still resonsable... BUT I will never get their Pho's.. its SO flavorless.

Haven’t had fresh made to order Banhmi Sandwiches for a long while. Finally picked up some this morning and it was delicious! I think fresh bread is the difference maker. Oh, and the buy 2 get 1 free makes the price super attractive. It almost feels like pre-Covid when food was less expensive. Forget customer service. Just come for the food.

Bahn Mi's were great. The congee we got as a special was borderline spoiled.

This is a place you come to for cheap food. They have buy 2 baguettes and get 1 free. I like the ham, meatloaf and head cheese the best. They also have drinks for BOGO free. We came on a Saturday around 4:30pm and they were not busy. You sit down and a worker comes and drops off the menu for you to order. Currently, there's a new item on the menu for hot pot which is advertised at 50% off and cost $8.50. The options for the hot pots are the beef pot, intestine pot or seafood pot with a selection of broths (one being beef broth but I cannot remember the rest) and egg noodles or rice. I wanted to try it since it's new so I selected the beef pot with beef broth as suggested on the menu. I also selected the egg noodles. It wasn't the best hot pot and not anything compared to boiling point or any other hot pot joint. I would not order it again. My husband got the chicken pho for $4.99 bucks and it was good and cheap. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. TIP: there's parking in back of the restaurant and you enter from the side street

This is a good spot. The food is good. Portion/taste/pricing is good. They have a lot of options. They do lack customer service skills BIG TIME smh! Not all the staff but some!

Main entrance is in the back parking lot. Front entrance is locked. Sells the usual stuff like banh mi, pho, che, spring rolls, and boba drinks. They have a passionfruit drink that is pretty tasty and caffeine-free. Also sells coconut pandan waffles but these were not good. They use dried coconut flakes in the batter so the waffle is a bit gritty. Prices are decent. Great for quick bites and refreshing drinks. Service at the counter is pretty quick.

Their BBQ sandwich are always the go to item. Take out is always quick and speedy. Only thing I noticed was that if you were to dine in, the lighting is very dim. Could use better ceiling lights.

The down-sized dining area has been reopened to enjoy your food after you have placed your order. Advice: you want to wipe clean the chairs before you take the sticky and greasy seats. Food was decent. I wouldn't say that it was spectacular. I went to get a quick bite for lunch and got the pre made rice and noodles. Don't be tricked! The rice are not 3.50 like the noodles. There are no signs to remotely even tell you that there's a different price for the rice dishes. It feels that Che Cali seems to be going down hill. It used to be good for the value. Now I would rather go to other places.

TOO MUCH ICE! Prices have gone up, even the boba is $6. However, they fill their drinks all the way up with ice! Not only are you paying more, but you're also getting less drink! They also refuse to put less ice in your drink when you ask. Hope they fix this.

This location has cushion food. Even have hot pot! Good variety of meat and rice box to go or even soup dishes to go for $4.50, and they have different drinks here. Pho Ga taste plain, just light broth like water. Lots of seats. Order 1st and then find a seat.

Okay first of all, I am seeing mixed photo posting for this yelp location's banh mi che cali that got me a bit confused. THERES ANOTHER BANH MI CHE CALI A MILE DOWN ON ROSEMEAD. Please don't confuse this one with that one! This one is located by Orange Ave in Monterey Park! I been coming here since they first opened in 2009-10 (?) I cant even keep track anymore. Banh Mi Che Cali, everyone knows to come here for their good value of food for buck. Well, at least that's how they started. However as the years go on, their prices kept increasing. They just rebranded their boba selections, and named it Tamo or something along the line, marking their drinks to be $6 rather than previously $3-4. Not to mention, their food price have gone up as well but their quality is still the same. Although they do have good bento kind of selection (small boxed lunch for you to take on the go) thats ~$5. They were originally really clean, but it seemed like since opening a few years back, they haven't done much up keep to keep it clean so now its a bit underkept. Their banh mi is still buy 2 get 1, and some boba selection is still buy one get one free, but just more expensive. Their boba isn't really honey boba, they cook it differently that it isn't sweet, and kind of ruins the taste. .I used to come here for their cheap boba, but now I am not so sure. I only come here for a quick food fix, and convenience because its right by my house and they have food premade at the counter, but otherwise its pretty bad. Also customer service sucks, but then again which Asian place have good customer service am I right? But hey at least they got their own parking lot so you aren't fighting a bunch of people either for parking.

After I finish my shift, I like to get something to eat after work. I found this spot because it opens exactly the same time I'm out. I'll cut to the chase with my rating. The Lady behind the counter with the heavy eye shadow seems to not want to serve me. In total, I probably visited this place 5 times. And every time I'm waiting to pay for my items, I waited and waited until the lady feels like it was time to ring me up. The waiting time was unreasonable seeing others before me had their transaction go smoothly and quickly. There are times she went to the next customer behind me and wanted to serve them! The customers had to mention I was here first. So, I stopped going there. The employees are extremely quiet when preparing the products mind you. As if they weren't allowed to talk. It would be unfortunate if she owns the place, as she has no clear idea on how to socialize to paying customers.

The food is good, and the prices are great, but the to-go containers I've been served are often dirty. The most recent time I went in they gave me the wrong order and wouldn't even remake what I ordered. I even told them that, when they put the food on the table that I ordered the pork pho with eggroll, and they gave me some chicken pho. Argued with the lady who handed it to me and she wouldn't do anything to replace it. The chicken pho dish wasn't bad, but it wasn't what I ordered.

It's best just to take it out, though the food itself feels a bit subpar. We went there, sat down and ordered food and drinks then water, they didn't give the water and left before we could ask; when we finally did get her attention she gave us attitude about it. Then there was a family sitting together near us and they had to practically beg them to take their order. Overall service was not the best but hey at least their drinks are okay.

I've ordered here many times. We joke about this place selling food to cleanse your body cause that's literally what it does almost every time; gives us diarrhea. Yesterday was the worst we've had which is why I'm posting this review. The fried rice and beans sprouts on the pork rice noodle wrap were both slimy. Yup, you heard me, literally slimy. I only found out when I ate the fried rice and my wife discovered the slime from the bean sprouts when she was handling it. I have no clue how long food needs to sit out to be like this but this is certainly a health hazard and I am hoping the CDPH is reading this. I want my money back but I doubt they'll give me anything if I ask.

They don't call out order numbers when the sandwiches are done. They just gave my order to a guy who ordered after me but just happened to stand right in front of the counter without checking his order number. He took over and touched my sandwiches many times before returning them back cuz he figured out they weren't the ones he ordered. When I asked the employee if they were for my order, she couldn't speak a word of English...not even being able to say numbers!!! When I asked the employees to please call out the order numbers so it won't happen again, they looked bothered instead of acknowledging to what I was trying to say.

Service is awful! This store didn't deserve any star! To the owner of this store and their employees, don't sell drink if you didn't want to provide ice to customer! Your employees made me run back and forth after asking ice in the drink that you sold to me, after all the hustle they made me tired and not give any ice at the end!! I would never come back here!!!! This place used to be fast during lunch time. The front staff working as fastest possible but it need just one more person. I noticed a few of the kitchen staff just standing around lounging by the door of the kitchen. Overall the prices has gone up and the service is very slow. One 45+ Vietnamese Chinese woman cashier very poor customer service (no customer service at all) in the early morning shift. she ignores customers waiting to pay, and she went to kitchen to do something and or hiding, never polite to customers. ( I can hear she said Lo Ma in Vietnamese means f##k, if he (me) can't wait just don't buy) Very rude and how restaurants hire people to kick customers do no business? Evening staffs there little better. But beware the Public Health Department sign B. I saw one of the chef preparing foods without gloves. Worries they don't wash hands after toilet. Other Banh Mi may doing much better seems. This one picks customers, they friendly to Hispanic, but rude back to Asians. I don't go this one no more. If Google has no stars, I would click no star ⭐ button.

First special thanks to the cook made a delicious noodles but the point is I start to order the white hat green aprons and gray jeans cashier woman first keep telling me you a noodles with ten dollars we must charge you $1 mandatory, then continuously lead me in a much tougher said, "you are bought again a lunch box!!!!! I go to many bmc's. If this is the one in Monterey Park I don't go there anymore. The service used to be fine, by fine I mean you came in got your order taken. Simple. Now it takes way to long to place order, the last time many people placed there orders immediately though I was there for at least 10 mins. Language is definitely a biased fact. Told mgr. gave me a blank look, no reply. Please post a sign of the race of customers you only serve, Or some underground code symbol that means the same thing on your entrance window, like an American flag circled with a slash. I'll get it

When I got my food it was just egg roles and fish sauce. I asked for some lettuce and they said we will not sell you lettuce and i was so confused. I’ve never had an experience like that. Very Very unsatisfying experience today.
