We came by to have an early dinner and celebrate our anniversary. Dixy was beyond amazing. The service was phenomenal. She surprised us with a finger licking good desert to help us celebrate. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. Thank you Dixy for make it a memorable visit. We will be back.

The food was so delectable. The portion sizes were perfect and the atmosphere was pleasant. Our server, Eric, went above our expectations for what we wanted for our service. He was personable, friendly, and made sure that we were satisfied with each meal we got and stayed on top of everything. He even worked with the kitchen on our inquiry on getting a side of garlic bread, since we loved the garlic bread that came with the lemon garlic pasta. He definitely made our first experience there great and we would definitely come back again.

It had been a long day and I we were just looking for a place to remove all that stress and this was just the right place. The vibes here are amazing, calm enough to relax but not enough to fall asleep. Food was great as well. Laura was amazing as well, she kept checking on un often and even though it was our first time she made us feel like frecuente clients. Will definitely recommend

From the moment we were seated, they greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel welcome. They were attentive without being intrusive, always checking in at the perfect times to refill drinks and ensure we had everything we needed. Food and drinks were delicious and the service was excellent. In general the whole staff is very caring. Eric was very attentive and we enjoyed our moment at Kona Grill. We didn’t take a pic of the sushi but it was one of the best sushi I’ve ever tried.

The portions are very small. The appetizers are not meant for sharing, they are individual portions. The food is good, but the price is very expensive. There were four of us and we paid $300, which I thought was excessive. We ordered meat and the pieces were very small and few; I didn't like it. This place has gotten really pricey and smaller portions. The avocado egg rolls are really small. They gave only 4 pieces. Those 4 pieces are cut from 1 or 2 egg rolls. The rolls at BJs are way bigger and better tasting. I have attached a picture of the rolls at BJs.

Ordered 2 Big island ribeyes, an order of edamame, an order of potstickers, an order of spicy shrimp tempura, 2 kids cheeseburger meals(missing oranges, they said their produce truck didn’t come yet), California roll & the spicy tuna roll. I honestly think the food was mid. Definitely not worth the prices we paid. Staff was friendly & attentive. Giving a 3 because the food or prices could’ve been better.

It all started when we waited 10 minutes for a server to take our drink order. He mentioned that our actual server was “in the restroom” but he took our drink order anyways. Then after ordering some very good Spicy Tuna Rolls as an appetizer, it took a long time for our food to arrive and I almost felt the need to order another drink from the bartender myself. The Shrimp Poke was bland but overall not bad, tasted the Wagyu Fried Rice, it was good but the beef was a little chewy. For the expensive price, I do not plan to return.

Overall it's was tolerable. I think the frustrating part is it could be a high class dining experience with great food. The idea is there but the lack of care and passion is not. Cleanliness: is ok, the tables are worn down and with nobody really in the resturant the floor still needed to be vacuumed. There are balloons stuck in the ceiling which through off the esthetic. Decor is nice. Looks upscale and could be an amazing date night hot spot but, the fish tank is empty and needs to be cleaned. Which throws you off when you walk in because everything else looks nice and up scale. Now the thing that matters. My family and I went during happy hour. So the resturant was empty. The server was awesome! The food not so much. If you spend $100+ you should get your money worth. Fried rice- seemed out of a bag. The chicken look like it was warmed up with the rice in boil bag and taste the same. The Chicken And Shrimp lettuce wrap- I would not recommend. Over salted pre made mix that we sent back Spicy Tuna roll- not in pressed. I would rather have a piece of tuna in the roll instead of a puree mix of tuna and something else. Flavor just was not there. Shrimp Tacos- was not thrilled. No real flavor but if you like spicy only its ok. The spicey over took the shrimp and the slaw had no flavor. The Burger for happy hour SPOT ON! came with fried only $6 bucks has seeded Bum great job well worth it. Also the KIDS BENTO Boxes are good. My kids liked it and the orange for the box was decorated nicely. Overall not bad just be cautious of what you order to not be upset about the cost vs quality! If you going out with a family of 5 which is easily $100 I think you should get a certain level of hospitality and quality of food to make it worth your money! However, the steak was cut so thin that it was reminiscent of something you might expect from a casual diner rather than a restaurant positioning itself as a premium dining experience. The portion lacked the substance and quality typically associated with this classic dish. The lobster tail was even more disappointing. It was noticeably small—so much so that it was difficult to justify it as a true lobster tail portion. The size and presentation did not align with the expectations set by the menu description or the establishment’s reputation. While the atmosphere and service were commendable, the food itself did not meet the standard implied by the reviews or pricing. As they say, everything is bigger in Texas—but unfortunately, that was not reflected on this plate. $260 WASTED!!!! Respectfully, A visitor from California
