My family loves sandwiches, and with all the parks in Elk Grove, they’re the perfect food to pack for a picnic or enjoy as a snack on the go. West Coast Sourdough has quickly become our favorite spot—the sandwiches are always fresh, flavorful, and perfect for family outings. The shop itself is spotless, the service is amazing, and the owners are so personable. They greet every customer with a smile and make you feel truly welcomed. It’s that rare kind of place where both the food and the people keep you coming back. If you’re in the area and craving a great sandwich, this is definitely the place to go!

I had a fantastic experience at West Coast Sourdough - Elk Grove, Elk Grove Blvd ! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, greeting me as soon as I walked in. I ordered their signature turkey and cranberry sauce sandwich, and it was absolutely perfect – the turkey was tender, and the cranberry sauce added a nice, sweet contrast. The bread was soft yet toasted to perfection. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, with soft lighting and comfortable seating. It was the perfect place for a quick lunch or a relaxed meal. I'll definitely be coming back for more!

I love these sandwiches. The turkey pesto without house sauce is so good. The staff are very kind. The outside area of the restaurant is my favorite, but the inside is always clean so it's a good choice in cold weather.

Ok, i have to write this. I order exactly what I wanted on my sandwich and they got it right perfectly. They took out all the carbs (which is the breading inside and scrape it out) they took their time like a chef would and the presentation was awesome. The sandwich was better than mine at a home. Even way better than Subway. Sorry Subway you lost this compliment I'm giving my compliment to West Coast Sourdough. Man, the sandwich executed perfectly its too perfect i want to take a picture of and frame it...LOL. thats how good it looked. Great job, it was with Bar-b-que, lettuce, mayo, swiss and hot chicken. DELICIOUS!!! Good thing, cause I tipped them twice. Again, thank you for the awesome sandwich...was too perfect just the way I like it. Customers, let them take their time on your sandwich cause what you will get is a "masterpiece" of a sandwich. The place is so clean and perfect. I wish everybody would be like this restaurant.

I love this place! They treat you like family here. A quality that is hard to find in the area now these days. The bread is amazing and the soups are delicious, my personal favorite's is Clam Chowder and my kids like Tomato Bisque . They are extremely fair for the price and quality in comparison to the other local food establishments. Must try !!

UPDATED Decided to go back and give it another try when I heard there was a new owner and new management and was not disappointed! Great food ! And Very friendly and attentive staff , the owner was actually working behind the counter and she made sure we were satisfied. She went above and beyond to make our experience fantastic. We have found our new sandwich shop. Overpriced, was like eating bread without much fixings in it. I would not recommend it. They are charging way too much for a sandwich that isn't even loaded. I got the Chicken Basil sandwich and there wasn't much chicken in it. Very little lettuce and other items. Bread is thick and narrow. An 8 inch sandwich for 10.49?? No thank you! Rather do Subway or Togo's.

When I need a break from Pizza, burger, or a cheap costco hotdog, West Coast is right there. Service: Staff here is always great quick and attentive to take our order and there generally isnt a long line. Vibe: On the much chiller side inside and its generally isnt too busy here. The place smells like old bucket of nasty water and rags molding in the back. And they continue to use said nasty rags to clean the place. Food was fine. It just really smelt like they’ve been using the same bucket and rags for weeks.

I went in yesterday to grab a sandwich with a co worker and cool off from the heat. It was very hot and uncomfortable inside, so I changed my mind and left without any food. I think they should use the air conditioning for there customers ! This is the second time that has happened at this location. I have to assume that the owner is too cheap to turn it on.
