Quick service a little hard to get in and out of the parking lot, but overall the jalapeños cheddar cheese with sausage was amazing and delicious! Used my app and they had my order ready to go when I got there ! Plus got points !!

We ordered online through the app for breakfast. We were so excited to see that the Jalapeño Cheddar Biscuits were back for a limited time. We had to wait in the order line as I did not see a place to get pick-up orders, but the line moved along well. We waited just a couple of minutes and got our order. The food was fresh and hot, they got the order right and friendly staff.

Writing this from mine and my husband’s joint account( this is the wife writing): Ordered through the drive thru on Tuesday night the lady taking the orders was very attentive and nice and kept asking us if we wanted modifications before we had to mention anything so we’re happy about that. Probably one of the most friendly and helpful employees to ever work at a Whataburger. Order was made quick despite them being busy, and food was fresh. 10/10.

Great food, fast service, nice workers, and I have to give a special shoutout to the old gentlemen working with white hair and glasses. He was so kind, helpful, on top of maintaining the restaurant and even could balance a tray on his head while working. WOW 5/5 for Whataburger 10/10 for gramps. Will be back!!!!

I like Whataburger because they serve lunch/dinner items in the morning and I like their burgers. I wanted to try something different and ordered grilled chicken sandwich and peaches and cream shake, and they were good but I personally like Chick-fil-A's (both items) better. The service at this location was good and there is a picture with a plaque about the founder that I'd never seen before.

Delicious Whataburger. When you live 12 hours away from the nearest Whataburger and really want to sink your teeth into something delicious and find out it doesn't live up to your expectations you can be dissapointed. This was not my experience. The Texas toast that I subbed was heavenly and the onions rings divine. This location is doing everything right. THANK YOU.

This was me and my husband's first time at Whataburger. We don't have any in Utah, and the closest to us is Denver. We actually were enticed to come here thanks to YouTuber's Jolly (Josh and Olly) and their reviews. Everything looked so good! I especially wanted to try the Dr. Pepper shake, and it did not disappoint! I had the patty melt. Boy was it good! My husband first tried the Jalapeño burger. The fries are amazing! They (sorry to offend) remind me a little bit of McDonald's fries, but better. My husband HATES McDonald's fries, but loves these, so that's saying something. Probably our favorite fast food fries ever now! We also liked the dipping sauces. I didn't try them all, but by far the best one is the spicy ketchup! It's not that spicy, just a little tingle to the tongue, and honestly tastes better than regular ketchup! My husband loved it so much, he got a chicken bbq sandwich to go (even though he was already full) and we went back again the next day for more for dinner. :D Staff was very friendly, and all the food is cooked to order, so there will be a little wait. Totally worth it! I do wish my patty melt had a bit more crunch to it. The bread was softer than I'd like, but taste was all there. About the only thing I had to complain about, really. 10/10 So good! Please bring Whataburger to Utah!!!

24-hour Texas burgers since 1950. Love the jalapeño burgers with mustard and specialty burgers that change year round. Combos have an option of onion rings or fries. They also have seasonal shakes with exceptional flavors. Their breakfast menu is good too and the biscuit and gravy is popular and affordable. Whataburger's spicy ketchup is so good they sell it across the country in Walmart. It's the only ketchup I like. Whataburger makes fresh food so it's not as speedy as many fast food restaurants. That little bit of extra time makes your food fresher. It's a Texas tradition, y'all, and so beloved they have an online store. Living out of state part of the year makes me miss it. Nothing compares though Sonic has some similarities.

Me and my roommate come here often, but we just had an awesome experience with an employee named Anthony. He was exceptionally kind and pleasant-so much so that I felt a need to leave a review. Keep being awesome, Anthony!

Even at the airport, Whataburger has yet to disappoint me. I don't live near any Whataburger location, so when I turned the corner at Houston Hobby's food court and saw the glorious Whataburger orange sign, I was a very happy traveler that day. Of course, I'd eat Whataburger everyday if left to my own devices.

Whataburger is normally a friendly place with all my experiences. However this place the staff was very rude and unfriendly. The tea containers were empty and they acted put out because we asked for refills. The manager brought our food to the table and didn't respond when we spoke to him.

My wife visited this establishment. Not me...I’m disabled and sat in my truck while she went in and purchased hamburgers. The food was okay. My wife complained that her hamburger did not have any mayonnaise and mustard and tasted dry...so she added those ingredients when we got home and improved the taste of her hamburger. Otherwise the food was okay. We have a history of eating their burgers and usually they don’t disappoint!

They were obviously really busy AND understaffed. But Kevin was working as hard as they could to get orders out correctly as well as dealing with the obnoxious customers that couldn’t seem to have any empathy and wait longer than 10 minutes. The manager yelled at and publicly degraded employees in front of everyone and didn’t help the situation. Big props to Kevin. I couldn’t deal with that store’s drama. The longer I sit here waiting for my food, the more I’m seeing wrong.

By the time we finally got our burgers, the buns were falling apart and were not warm at all, and it wasn't even a busy time of day.

I ordered a breakfast on a bun and instead, I received breakfast on a hamburger bun with no explanation whatsoever. One girl taking orders at the register, using 2 registers and the long was ridiculous, bless her heart, she did her best. Management needs to do better.

We did not receive extra napkins, drinks had soda all over the outside of all three that wasn't wiped off and the employee seemed really annoyed that I asked for extra napkins.

It must be hard to get good employees on the island cause service was crap. Unprofessional employees talking on their phones in the dining room. Standing outside the entrance smoking and cussing on the phone. Older location. Food was good though which I guess is the main thing.

Honestly I didn't give a 1 because the food is good. This has to do with fake advertising. I have no problem paying my meal however today was a day that I couldn't. I sat at Whataburger after ordering a soft drink and noticed that their table tent was advertising free whataburger if one downloaded the app. What one gets is free Onion rings. I am truly grateful to receive these onion rings when I had nothing eat, my heart was set on the Whataburger like advertised. I will still come to Whataburger, especially now that I have started the workforce again. Thanks for the free rings, maybe I'm just really hungry today.

Ordered 1 meal from the Whataburger app. Food would be ready for pick up in 4-7 minutes. Waited for a long time in the curbside parking spot. Finally received my meal 30 minutes later. I should have just gone to the drive thru. It would have been much faster! At least the food was good and not cold.

The fries and onion rings were hot and fresh but one of the burgers looked like it had been made for a while the spicy whatachicken. The service is fast and friendly and looked very busy but it didn’t take long at all.

I just had my meal at Whataburger today. The food itself was good — fresh and tasty, no complaints about that. However, the customer service really disappointed me. When I walked in, I asked the staff what the difference was between combo #2 and combo #8, but the employee couldn’t clearly explain anything that would help me make a choice. I ended up ordering #8. Then, when I selected a few sauces, no one mentioned that there would be an extra charge or that the portions might be too much for one person. I was charged extra for those sauces without any advice or clarification. It’s not about the small amount of money — it’s about basic customer service and professionalism. A simple explanation or recommendation would have made the experience much better. I hope the management can train their staff to communicate more clearly and help customers make better choices next time

Waiting 35 minutes. Wasn't even that busy. Stuck in the dive though, no way out.

Do not go to this place late at night. This place is so disorganized; and no-one has any urgency for counter sales. I waited 30 minutes for someone to even take my order. Tables were dirty and staff was very lazy. This place requires new management. Fries were very soggy, cold and under cooked.

No matter the time of day, orders are ALWAYS slow. I ordered online prior to going, it showed should be ready by 1:14AM, it’s now just after 1:30AM and not ready yet…this is per par. Even though this store stays fairly busy, fries are ALWAYS, without fail, soggy and taste like they were made the shift before. Their only saving grace is that two of the overnight workers (sorry, I’m horrible with names) are truly sweethearts! Once you get to know them, it’s obvious they put up with a lot of crap from customers, but once you get to know them, they are really nice. The other employees are hit or miss.

Burger patties and soda drinks were large in size. Seating booths were small and cramped. Burger lacked season/flavor, buns very dry and crumbled while ate.

Food is okay, need to change the name to slow food not fast food for sure. Window service was very rude as well.

Burger dried out cold and French fry’s taste burnt also cold bacon in cooked ,it was as if I was served left overs off the counter from the night before not a pleasant experience.

Very annoyed right now. First when we pulled up in the drive threw someone was standing outside taking orders not even close to the menu so you can’t see what’s on there. Second we tried ordering A1 thick and hardy and was told “we haven’t had that for two years”. So then we ordered the Monterey melt. We did not know that was also not on the menu. Instead we got the order and receipt with all the extra charges tacked on. As you can see in the photo we did not get two portions of vegetables and also we didn’t order any jalapeño ranch sauce which was added for us pay.The person taking orders needs to stand by the menu so people can actually read what they have instead of having situations like this where things are just tacked on to your order. I have had several instances with this location getting my order wrong or giving me someone else’s order. I like whataburger but this gets frustrating when things keep happening every time I go there.

So much for Texas toast.... we ordered 2 avocado bacon burgers and both of our sandwiches came on soggy not toasted bread 🥴 we love whataburger but this location is awful. Constantly ringing our order up wrong. Tonight was a mess. Placed our order and then sat in line B for probably 30 minutes because they couldn’t figure out which order went with what vehicle (even after we told them multiple times what we ordered)..... 🤦🏻‍♀️ drove 30 minutes home to find our burgers looking like this 😑 seems like a lack of organization and communication between the team members

After a long (and delayed) flight my son and I arrived at our hotel, the only food available was this or some other fast food places. Nearly an hour later the "food" arrived, cold and soggy. The drinks were severely diluted, the fries nearly frozen. We threw it all out. Thanks for continuing our shitty vacation.

I would say theres a 50/50 chance of horrible waiting times or long lines, whataburger itself is great... id just prefer to go to other locations after this one I was prompted to write this after waiting 50 minutes for my mobile order... but its not even a one off event... just be warned

This has nothing to do with this location in particular. The food is always great, but you will be robbed of your time. They will never indicate to you how busy they are, and very quickly “fast food” becomes “I pray I get my food”. This is an issue with all fast food joints, but Whataburger is noticeably the worst. In the age of mobile orders, this is a huge issue. This is an issue with the most senior management.

I wish I could leave 0 stars . I ordered online . Upon entering to pick up my order I asked could they do no salt fry she happily said yes . So ten minutes have passed and I asked excuse me is something going on with my order she said what do you mean I said I been waiting 10 minutes for a online order which was currently at 15 minutes since putting the order in the girl looked at me and said give it a second I asked a second ? She then rolls her eyes and goes and gets my food . Mind you the manager was standing right next to her . My food had been sitting back there so the fry lady is just standing there doing nothing. No communication nobody running out orders. My fries were cold with salt on them . Who knows how long my order was sitting back there and of course while I’m eating my fries because I’m starving I had to force myself to eat them there was hair in them . Brownish black hair just like the lady working the fry station. Now I wish I would have believed all the bad reviews for this Whataburger . Poor customer service poor quality. Everyone obviously hates their job it appeared . Will not be returning.

First time ever to get whataburger. Very disappointing. Cold food. Missing items. Paid for delivery as we were on vacation. I was offered a free burger or whatever. But...I had to pick it up. I paid $7 for delivery the first time. We do not have whataburger here in Michigan. This was nowhere near deserving of all the praise I have heard. Almost forgot! Drink your soda quick. The beverage actually leaks through the styrofoam cups!! Nifty.

We waited literally 45 minutes for two burgers and a kids meal, then found condiments we didnt want on the burgers that we asked not to be on them. The fries seemed like they had been sitting for as long as we were in line. At least the cashier lady was nice enough.

I have never seen such incompetence in how a store is run. Wrong orders being handed out to customers, 20 minute waits. Just absolutely insane. I ordered 2 sausage egg and cheese taquitos and an orange juice at 0330. They took my order. I paid. They said it would be right out. They then brought me some chicken fajita things. That isn’t what I ordered. She said, “We don’t do breakfast orders right now” At THREE IN THE MORNING. They do not do breakfast in the morning. Just asinine.

Don't waste your time at this Whataburger location. COMPLETE NIGHTMARE! We came in at 9:15 on a Saturday night, the restaurant was full and as we were waiting in line my husband said "look at the dining room, it's packed and not one table has their food, something is wrong". We mistakenly ordered anyway and sat at a table for nearly 45 min to see the only food that came out was for one of the employees very young daughter who apparently had to come to work with her mom for her entire shift. We walked to the cashier to request a refund when another customer said "welcome to Galveston". Heck no!! Got our money back and the Manager told us "we just have so many online orders". We walked to Chipotle next door which was only slightly better.

Submitted an order for curbside pickup (a whataburger meal and patty melt meal). When we get there, we check in and wait 20 minutes...still no sight of our meals. I get out and walk in to the online order pickup area where there is one lady in front of me. I proceed to watch the older man at the counter flirt with this lady for another 7 minutes, asking her about weekend plans and eventually even getting her number even though she already had her food, before he finally asked me if I needed help. When I told him I'd been waiting 20 minutes for my curbside and he inquired about me order....turns out is was already sitting on the ready orders shelf (for lord knows how long) and he hadn't bothered to even look. So I asked him if he had even planned on bringing it out to me and he just said, well you know Saturdays are busy. I understand busy, what I don't understand is this guy hitting on a customer instead of doing his job while on the clock. Get it together dude. If I hadn't been already crunched for time, I would have asked to speak to someone about it.

As someone who loves Whataburger dearly... avoid this one completely. I visited two days in a row. My order is very simple: number 2 sub ketchup. First visit, after waiting 25 minutes, I receive a burger with only ketchup, no vegetables. The next day, after waiting forever again, I get my burger and make sure to check it before leaving. It had mayo, not ketchup. I take it back, and they bring back a burger with ketchup and mayo, obviously having just added ketchup to the burger they already gave me. Also the sweet tea was so bad I couldn't drink it. Just avoid this location.

Unfriendly, dirty, extremely noisy, and just a very poor representation of Whataburger. The food had no flavor. The employees acted as though they didn’t care about anything. The music was so loud that you couldn’t have a conversation. Pretty much any other eating establishment would be a better choice. We did file a complaint with Whataburger and after 2 weeks received a call from a managing partner of this location. After visiting with him, he said he had no way to refund our money, and since we were not coming back to Galveston, he would send us gift cards. A month later, no cards, no contact, and no interest in us. We called the Whataburger home office in San Antonio to share this situation. Was told we would be contacted by someone in the home office. A week has passed, no contact. I guess the philosophy of Whataburger is take their money once, we won’t get another chance?

This was the most unpleasant Whataburger I have ever been to. When we arrived the pictured employee was outside on the sidewalk listening to some vulgar music spewing words and explicatives for my 5 year old to hear. He ignored my request to turn it off. Then there was the indifferent service - my wife tried to kindly great the cashier who was dismissive and barely said anything. When I went to order my son a cookie I had to wait for five minutes. She saw me waiting because she served the lady in front of me - stopped to take refills to some friends in the dining room, and then when she returned she literally said, “Oh, that was it...”

Long time waiting to receive my food and it wasn't s rush hour.... Then they forgot to add my drink and when I did arrive home... I noticed that I got two different burgers than the ones I ordered... Probably someone else got my two burgers :-/

6pm on a Wednesday. The place was NOT busy. Sat at the Drive thru for about 5mins and NOTHING, not a "we'll be with you in a min" or "the hell you want!" Just silence. Spoke to the mic and nothing. Drove by the window and the girl looked bored as hell. Welp this place lost my business.

So the one thing my girlfriend wanted was the chicken strips and gravy. It's on my recipt but not in the bag. And to say she's upset is very accurate statement. The only thing she wanted was that blessive gravy and strips. The houston staple and it was robbed from her. 1 star becuse this was just a horrible fail and I have to hear it.

While I was ordering for my (family of 6) the old lady with the bad perfume was making an annoyed face. When the food came the fries were cold, the onion rings tasted old, the burger bread was toasted but the cheese was cold, the vegetables were nasty and my burgers came with all the vegetables and mustard. My family and I removed the stuff we didn’t like from the burgers but when I went and asked for a new burger for my daughter because she didn’t want it the same lady said I never asked for it dry and was hesitant to make another one until I basically had to read her the ticket and tell her I wanted a new burger like the one I paid for.
