The Brasserie at Aviator

We had afternoon tea in the SkyBar and had a lovely experience. The service was superior, food top notch with exquisite French pastries. The ambiance is cool and chic and the front lobby concierge was super friendly and welcoming. 100% recommend and we will visit again next time in the area.

A wonderful afternoon tea experience in good surroundings, very pleasant helpful staff, excellent food and beautifully laid out. Our tea sommelier was very understanding of our needs. She looked after us all afternoon without any intrusion and was very knowledgeable about the various teas that we could have. It was overall, a really lovely relaxing afternoon and I would highly recommend it to anyone who just wants something special. We were in The Sky Bar.

The overall Experience was amazing, the food is made to a very high level, myself and another dined 14th 13th of Feb here and the food was absolutely to die for. Experience was also amazing and I also liked they had bespoke cocktails just for the valentines weekend.

We were a group of ten friends looking for good food and drink nearby to the exhibition centre after attending an event. As it was Valentine’s Day we were allocated one of the quiet rooms as the restaurant was fully booked, and this could not have been more perfect. Our own space to relax, chat and have some food. The service was good and the food was great and we all left feeling happy. Thank you.

At short notice, due to another event being cancelled, The Aviator Hotel hosted my hen night for 10 people yesterday. The service was excellent - professional and friendly. The food was first class and very good value for money with the Summer Set menu. The ambience in the Brasserie restaurant was ideal and we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the Sky Bar for beverages afterwards. I would highly recommend dining there.

We went here for Sunday lunch for an early Mother's Day. The service was lovely to start with, very attentive, however there must have been a shift change towards the end of our time here, and the service from then onwards was sub-par. The food was delicious and we managed to squeeze a dessert in! Everything was warm and served quickly. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful evening! We tried the tasting menu with the wine pairing and it was amazing! The quality of the food was very high and the wines were really interesting too. We can’t wait to go back and would highly recommend. Thank you to all the staff for the great service as well!

I took my wife to the Aviator Brasserie for her birthday. Wow, the food was fantastic! I was thoroughly surprised at the tast, imagination and presentation of the chefs. I will definitely go there again! Thank you for the notes and chocolates too. Nice touch.

Went for the tasting menu for our anniversary and it didn't disappoint. Faultless, from pre dinner drinks in the bar to the stunning five course menu. Great service. One of our favourite places.

I come to this restaurant for the first time, for my birthday, service was extremely friendly and the food was delicious, we have a food tasting and mi husband and me love it , perfect for special occasions, I personally love the COD with caviar, my husband love the beef , well done chef!

Lovely place to eat for any occasion. Perfect for both business and casual meet up. A la cart and tasting menu for dinner. Perfect to wow friends and partners. Friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic wine list. In the summer they have an outdoor terrace with an amazing view over the airfield. I am a big Fan!!

My husband and I went for an evening meal for our 5th wedding anniversary. It's out of our usual price range but we were happy to treat ourselves, given we haven't been out together since our baby was born, and then lockdown - as long as food and service were worth the extra money. Happy to say it absolutely was worth it! Service was excellent, food was delicious. We each had a sirloin steak and it was incredible. The cocktails are great too, and there was even a promotional offer on them so it was all good value as well as feeling luxurious. We'd let the team know in advance it was our anniversary and they made us feel extra special. A lovely night out for us, can't wait for another special occasion so we can go again!

Second visit to the brasserie. First time was a large group for afternoon tea. Second time was for Sunday lunch. Both times were excellent! Well priced, great quality food and the right portion size for the price. Extra call-out for the great service and their handling of allergies. Looking forward to coming back again for both and to try a la carte.

Having booked our hotel stay through a daily deal package, dinner was included and was understandably from a limited menu, although you can upgrade to the full menu for a £20 supplement (per person) if you wish. Having looked at both menus, we were more than happy with the reduced one on offer and ordered the steak which was great! The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice and relaxed and there is no rush from the staff at all. A great visit overall with great food!

I like this place. The atmosphere is nice and whilst it seats a good amount you aren't to tightly packed in like a lot of places. The service was great, friendly, helpful and attentive. They can provide a special vegetarian menu if required. The food was good, and I feel in line with what you'd get at other similar price point in the surrounding area. It's close to the airport so if you want you can go and look at planes after, or before, depends on your schedule.

I ordered a Thai green curry and I got a chicken casserole, the so called "Thai green curry" had carrots and peppers in the curry. So I ordered another meal(fishcakes) and that took a 25 minutes to come, when it did come there was no apologies and when I ate it, it was mediocre. Although on the other hand the service was brilliant and they were very apologetic. Although my father had the chicken burger and that was brilliant, my mother's fish and chips was good although the chips were a little undercooked. On Tue other hand they have just come over and said that they will pay the bill

Special night out. Sadly mediocre service ( on arrival waited 10 mins for two drinks to arrive at table) Ordered scallops starter, 2 scallops for £13 , what! Single side veg arrived as we were finishing main meal, they didn't charge! Total bill £99 for one beer, 2 glasses of wine two starters and mains . Errr won't be going there again.

Overpriced and not very tasty. 2nd visit in 2 years and the food is very pricey for what you get. The best part was the bread and butter. It's a shame but honestly I think if they focused on flavours it would go a long way. Staff who waited us was very friendly. I explained how I felt to the manager as I think it's important for them to know but I doubt I'll be coming here again unless the chef changes unfortunately. He did take my item off the bill so thank you for that.

Fridays dinner was over priced, starter and main lacked flavour but the desert was fabulous. Cocktails also extremely expensive for what they were. Service was slow (they were not busy) and waitress was unnatentive, lights were also giving off so much heat it was very uncomfortable so we asked for fans as the aircon was not good, which they provided, they also turned the lights down slightly but they were still too hot (install LEDs!). Breckfast service was slow, waited to be asked if we wanted tea, coffee, juice or something off the menu but were not asked. Helped myself to orange juice for my partner and I. Called waiter over and asked for two teas. Cooked buffet was cold and no hash browns, asked for some and was told they were on the way so I waited, none arrived. The greek yogurt with peaches and pumpkin seeds was fabulous, by far the best of the choices. Sunday morning we found out after we had eaten Breckfast that there was a separate room for wedding guest breakfast!! Would of been nice to have been told so we could of all sat together. Wedding meal however was delicious!

You can’t fault the beauty of this location, building and the service of the staff. Still our order was botched, (preordered two appetisers not on their system!) It took an hour and a half (1 1/2 hrs!) to get our mains! Thank god for the basket of bread! My poached turkey was to dry. There were 8 of us and we had all preordered our food. There was no excuse for this. Had some management come around and explained the delay or offered some perks for their slow service I’d probably not be writing this. 100’s of pounds spent with little consideration or returns. (Which I won’t be doing!)

Major project launch, team dinner of 14 stakeholders from around the world sat down at the table at 1830 and were served food at 2100. Very little explanation of the problem, intermitent drinks service, no clearing of glasses from table even when food (churned out formulaic offering) did finally arrive. Food had clearly been under lamps far too long and was basically spoiled. They still charged us 225 pounds for drinks and quite rightly didn't charge us for the 'food'... Just don't take the chance!

It is a nice restaurant but I would never go there again bcz the staff of this restaurant are very racist or maybe Islamophoebic. As I am an asian and a Muslim. I wear a scarf on my head, so it is quite obvious what religion I belong to. I heard so many praises about this restaurant, but when I went there with my friend, their attitude was really rude. They were quite reluctant to serve us. When we tried to complain that to the manager, he was the same and wasn't willing to listen to us. Shame on them
