I'm generally an extremely picky and indecisive eater. My husband to be suggested we try Goatie Whites and OMG, I was extremely happy and couldn't have been more thrilled! The food was absolutely amazing. So flavorful, and the portions were very generous :) will definitely be coming back more often!

Can’t believe how great Goatie Whites was!! The white pizza with broccoli was outstanding. Also recommend the fried pickles - they should not be missed. The menu is enormous, so there is something for everyone.

Goatie Whites was my default when I lived in the area. Large parking lot and large outdoor space and seating. I always loved their menu, everything from pizza to Italian, steak, burgers, you name it. Also had a few craft beers on tap. Small bar but seating was never really a problem. Local crowd and friendly attentive staff.

This was an amazing little place in the Catskill area of New York. They had a huge menu, stiff drinks, homemade donuts and fudge, a funky little store, and t-shirts. We spent a ton here (and they are a little pricey) but,it was great food and a very friendly atmosphere. Of course, we bought the cool t-shirt. We will be back when we are back in the area.

Unfortunately after years of visiting my father in Margaretville, I had know idea this place existed. I ordered us meals to go which were excellent and fairly priced as well. When I arrived, I was so disappointed that I hadn't found this hidden gem sooner. I can't wait to go back with the family and eat in (or out). They have such a nice outdoors seating area too. Stop in for a meal, homemade fudge, or something from their Icecream bar when your in the area. Just a 5-10 min drive from Margaretville. Love it!

After going skiing today a couple of friends & I stopped at Goatie Whites. Food was excellent as well as the service. (Milkshakes are great) All around amazing experience the woman who served I rate a 10/10. Next ski session we will be back. A+

My friends and I vacationing in the Catskill mountains were referred to the restaurant by our AirBnB host. This family owned restaurant serves up delicious, staple, American style entrees. The home made bread is the bomb. Our waitress Neureka was the best. Her attentiveness and hospitality were by far the best I’ve received when in New York.

Bobby and Narika do wonderful job. And has made this place look wonderful. You want to be there the food is great the deserts a great the ice cream is great it's all above and beyond. You have to go there to experience it. Get takeout orders or it's just as good yum yum yum.

I can't believe I never wrote a review! I left the area in 2020 but this place is great! I used to frequently pick up lunch for my co-workers. Loved their food and the new bar. The owner is extremely friendly. Miss you guys!

Was staying in Margaretville and looked for a good ice cream/dessert spot for me and my travel partner. We're so happy we made the short drive to Goatie Whites. The view from their porch is breathtaking for a city person like myself. The ice cream was excellent and they had one of the greatest donuts I've ever eaten in my life. We wished we had went sooner so we could go again!

Great little spot, Pizza and Wings were great. Might be an unpopular opinion but the nachos would be better without the standard nacho cheese sauce (or maybe just less of it) kind of drowned out the rest of the good flavours. Grated cheese melted would have been better. Overall though great stay and I’m sure the rest of the food is just as good!

Great little place. We were there 30 minutes before opening and the lady let us in anyway. She was running back AND front of house. She had the bar, our table, and cooked our food because the server wasn't in yet. We sat by the fireplace. The pizza was delicious. The only thing was the country music. Awful. Lol.

Found this place cruising through the Catskills. They have a large selection on their menu and Italian night on Wednesdays. Since it was Wednesday and I'm Italian I had their chicken parm. It came with a small salad,bread n the meal itself was excellent. If you are in the area and looking for a small family place for a decent dinner with decent prices this is a nice little place I would recommend.

This is a quintessential mom and pop establishment. It had so many choices that I was low key sus that it would be good. Came in with a group of friends on vacay and every dish from the appetizer to the dessert was exceptional! The time we came allowed us a more intimate setting, but we also saw how quickly it can fill up as the afternoon gave way into the evening. If we didn't live in the southeast US I would become a regular patron. You will NOT be disappointed!

Got 3 smokehouse burgers and they were cooked exactly as we ordered! The mac salad that came with was very nicely seasoned. Great atmosphere, great staff, and great food. Clean, and well lit for a overall fantastic experience. 🤙🏻

We were up in the area visiting for a funeral, and it was the last night before leaving to head out. This place came on several recommendations, so we went. And we certainly did not regret it! The service, food, and everything was wonderful! When we come back up to the area, we certainly plan on coming back. Especially for the pizza! The prices were outstanding as well! Overall a good ending to a trip we were not wanting to make in the first place. Thank you to everyone there!

Wonderful restaurant! We came two days in a row because of how good it was. Staff was super friendly. Owner took the time to talk to us and gave us free doughnuts! My wife and I always look forward to pizza and fish & chips from Goatie Whites when we are in town. They have lots of other menu options as well and food is always fresh and delicious.

had the best pastrami rueben on rye! Our order was to go, so I would suggest that you request drinks to be brought out with food (unless you want them right away). we ordered 3 sandwiches total and it really took a long time. Was worth the wait, just good to know ahead that you won't be in and out very quickly. Staff is very friendly and the place has a nice casual ambiance. I definitely will go back to eat in, their menu is calling me!

Stopped here for dinner during my honeymoon in the mountains. Pizza was good but nothing better than I've eaten before. The garlic knots on the other hand.... I still think about them sometimes 😍 one of the reasons we stopped there. Seemed like everyone knew everyone and I thought that was neat. Nice atmosphere.

1/15/25 first time here w/my instructor friend. Cool spot. Friendly staff. We had dinner in the bar area. I had the chicken parm hero. It was really good and i took half home with me. I also took home the bread, because my friend didn't eat it and i wanted to try it. Well, let me tell you, 250f for 4 minutes in my air fryer (on toast) and it was perfect!! So get the bread and eat it. Good beer selection on tap and in bottles & cans. I look forward to returning.

Casual and fun. Lively diners and staff. Great for a local ski town restaurant. Menu prices are very reasonable and portion sizes were good. Enjoyed my medium pizza pie where I was allowed to customize half / half with toppings. The broccoli and cheddar potato skins were good. All it needs is bacon (I'm sure you can ask but it was not listed on the menu). The baked haddock with crabmeat stuffing was a hit. Pass on the chicken burrito, while plenty of chicken, it was too shredded for my liking. And there was only cheese on the top... Wish there was more. Desserts were great, even to go. We got chocolate dipped strawberries, baklava, and assorted brownies. Very good value. There's a general store too if you want to support local businesses.

The food is mediocre but not horrible. The waitresses are good, but sometimes it gets so busy, so the wait times can be long.

My Wife and I have dined here several times before and has always been worth the hour long trip...until today! My Wife's chicken wings turned out to be just chicken tenders with way too much garlic, and my veal Parmesan was very disappointing!

The food is good, but the fudge is even better! That said, if there was a notice anywhere we didn't see it, but when we got home and looked at the bill we noticed there was a 3% extra charge for using a credit card! We have never seen this before and will not be going back there.

We have been to Goaties a few times in the last year, both dine in and take out. I'm less and less impressed. Portion size and flavor leave much to be desired. Help seems to be the only saving factor.

I ordered the Fish and chips. The batter had no seasonings. We got our order to go so I'm not sure if they put the fish on top of the chips on your plate or not, but they weren't crisp when I got them home. My boyfriend got the Philly Cheese steak, usually his favorite sandwich when we order out. He said it was "just ok'. Normally we order thin crust pizza and that's what we'll stick to in the future. The eclair was average.

The restaurant food is actually really good. However I am rating the ice cream. It is in fact a separate parlor. The coffee ice cream and bittersweet sinphony has EXCELLENT taste. However I sampled 5 flavors and with texture and other factors combined I had to lower the score.

Staff is friendly but food is really mediocre. Think of schwans frozen food truck delivery. For the price I would expect better. Will not be going again.

The description of this place should be two dollar signs. They increased their prices by at least 3 dollars per dish without improving the quality. The food is hit or miss. When you think you like a dish, they'll change cooks and the dish tastes different. In fact, the current cook is the owner. He actually refused to take back a dish that had onions when it isn't described in the menu as having onions and the last time I ordered it, it didn't have onions. The wait staff are good, but slow during rush hours because there aren't enough of them.

I travel all over the Adirondacks and Catskills for work and I eat out all the time being I’m on the road. It seems like a nice place but I’ve never ever seen a bowl of chili cost $14…..that better be one hell of a bowl of chili.

It was not good. We waited for over an hour! Then they got our order wrong. And we were not the only order they got wrong. So we were there 2 hours starving. They didn't even offer complementary garlic knots or anything. Food was good so was the prices. But definitely not worth a 2 hour wait. Will not be back.

The service was terrible and the food was mediocre. It took over an hour to get served and 3 of us ordered the “special” crab cakes and they were inedible. When we complained about the service, the owner Norika was unapologetic and extremely nasty to us.
