This is the best Chinese restaurant I have ever ordered from. Love the steamed dumplings and health options like steamed chicken and broccoli! Couple that with never waiting more than 30 minutes for my order and you have a winner! Also, had the General Tso's chicken on a cheat day and it was ridiculously good....

My first time ordering, but definitely not my last time. However I did not get dried noodles for the soup, nor did I get the extra mustard that I requested. If this is the only fault, who rah, I have found my new Chinese restaurant

One of my friends, a fellow New Yorker who also lives in Plantation, just told me about this place and I was floored how fresh and tasty the Chinese food is here! For years I walked past assuming the worse, but was I wrong. My wife and I enjoyed the shrimp in garlic sauce, the .shrimp fried rice, the pork and eggplant in garlic sauce, and the hot and sour soup. Highly recommended!

Overall great food. If you are looking for some chinese food that looks like you expected it to look and tastes they way you wanted it to taste, eat here. Service is no different than any other average chinese restaurant. Chicken teriyaki is awesome and it Comes on Skewers. Not just a couple either, i got 5. The orange chicken was great and the orange sauce covering the chicken was infused with actual chilis. Shrimp is cleaned right and the Pork in the fried rice had grill marks and added awesome flavor to the rice. I love chinese, and chinese generally sucks around here, but this place was great.

I saw the reviews and waited to come here a couple times before writing a review. The people working here were nice and the food was good. I have only been here for lunch so my experience with calling in the order and getting the food have been painless. No issues so far. If that changes I will edit my review.

Best chinese we've had in years. Just moved here and our neigbor recommended them for delivery. Chicken teriyaki on a stick was so tender and juicy. General Tso's chicken was hot and had tons of flavor. Everything was delicious! Ordered online and received within 45 minutes. We'd highly recommend them.

I’ve been coming to this place for years and they have consistently been kind, the food is always great and the people working in here always have great customer service. So if you’re considering coming here, this is your sign to go.

They do not take long with the food, it is very quick and easy if you feel for some shrimp fried rice. There are times it can be complicated on the phone. But I highly recommend this Chinese place if you are in a rush or don't know what you want to eat.

Ivan, completely made my order over and gave me a free soda on the house! Did I mention when I walked in I was greeted with the biggest smile and warmest welcome!!! I have tried a lot of Chinese food since moving to the area and been very let down by everywhere, then I found China Sun. The employee that took our order was very polite and even notated on my phone number that I have a mushroom allergy. We asked for extra spicy like we always do and we're very pleased by the level of spice. Portion size was awesome as well. The Mongolian beef and General Tso's chicken were absolutely incredible!

I think this has been the best Chinese food I've had since coming to South Florida. Unfortunately in South Florida none of the restaurants have the plum sauce that I am accustomed to up north, but this food was amazing and it was done faster than they told me I'll definitely be going here again.

The rice here is always fresh and so good! My entire family loves eating from here .

Best Chinese in Plantation! Never had a bad item.

15Sep22 I ordered lunch for 6 people from their online ordering system and it works perfectly. I entered a note of everyone's name for each order and each order was bagged with names on the bags. All the orders were complete and Correct. I am including this because there are so many times when you place an office order and something is wrong, missing, or just plain fubar. Our order was delivered Hot and was delivered in under an hour. Everyone enjoyed the food and had no complaints. I quite enjoyed my lunch special of Spicy Orange Chicken with pork fried rice and eggroll. At under $14.00 a person including delivery fee ($3.00) and a 20% tip, this was very affordable.

This place never disappoints. The food is always good and the staff is super nice. Glad this place is close to us. We always get the General Tso’s and Honey Garlic Chicken, definitely recommend.

Wish there was more places to sit- however, they are very kind! They remember me & make conversation. Best chinese food ive had in FL- def compares to NY quality

It's our place for dinner on Fridays. We order the Hot & Spicy Beef, Bourbon Chicken & Wonton Soup and never had a problem with our order. The workers are very nice and knows our order by heart. I drive 15 minutes when I have a Chinese restaurant a minute away. There is nothing like the egg rolls from China Sun. Great taste and portions and food is still hot when you pick up. Their prices are reasonable.

I’m recently new to plantation and wanted some good Chinese food so upon finding China Sun, I was recommended by a friend and I’m going to try it. I will update the review once I try the food but just the customer service alone made me feel more than happy that I had ordered it. The pricing is also pretty fair. I would say for the portion size. Update: food was amazing. Chicken wasn’t crispy but that’s the drive home with the condensation. So I’m not judging them for that. Sauce was sweet, could use more garlic but i am a 10+ garlic guy when cooking. Will be back soon!

The hot and sour soup is craveable! Tried the bourbon chicken this evening and it is delish! The customer service always top notch! I had to update to give even more positive feedback. There was a tiny oopsie with our order tonight. The older lady working was so apologetic for what happened and made note that next time they will take care of us and she noted our order. We truly love everything we order so regardless we are happy. And, because we got a last minute order late and they close at 9pm it is 8:48 now we would not expect them to stay open over this. I only called to see if it was possible to exchange it and if not we still got an amazing dish! And, the fact that she said we will make it right next time (we got her at least once a week), apologized and did not get rude or just ignore what happened it goes to show the pride they take in their restaurant. We just had a horrible experience with another restaurant so having this positive experience with our absolute favorite local Chinese Restaurant made my night and goes to show how amazing they always are and how others restaurants should strive to be! Food was good, and I've never had an issue with the customer service. My only gripe was that they sauce the sweet and sour chicken before they deliver it so it was one big soggy lump. Other than that all the food I've tried from there has been excellent.

This place is fine. Its mostly for delivery or takeout. They only have one table. The food is above average american chinese food. It's not amazing but, it's good.

One of the things that I appreciate about this restaurant is that it’s usually open on most holidays. So if you’re ever hungry for food, and can’t find another place that is open, I would definitely check this place out. I love their General Tso’s chicken wings the most. They are delicious and finger licking good!!! Their dumplings are also delicious with the sauce. I could have eaten all of them by myself lol. The only thing that could be better is their rice. It’s alright but I’ve definitely had better elsewhere. If you’re looking for some decent Chinese food definitely give them a try.

I've been ordering here for the past 10 years about once every week or two. They have horrible customer service, at least a third of the time they mess up my order, they often forget small but important items like the dipping sauce for the dumplings, the person that answers the phone is easily confused and barely understands English, and the delivery guy has a surly demeanor. 45min? Yeah- if you're lucky. So why did I rate it 4 stars and why do I keep ordering from there? The food is just that good. Pro tip: Order a large dipping sauce and keep it in the refrigerator in case they forget it again.

Hard working employee up front was to the point but not entirely pleasant. But food was satisfactory.

The only reason I didn't give them a 5 star rating it because of sometimes the food taste amazing and some day it ok I eat there for lunch sometime dinner on my way home beside that can't complain about the SVC it's standard for me

I live in the immediate area. Used to go here more often when I had poor eating habits. Today is Christmas Eve, do us Jews got to eat somewhere. It was open. I ordered the Curry Chicken Combo. The food doesn't seem like quality food. Don't know what kind of Curry they use. Very watery. Not very tasty food. The lady has always been pleasant. There was something open in the Publix Plaza. Probably should have gone there. The first post said they are Racist. I've never experienced that or seen that towards others.

Great good, terrible customer service. Don't order on the phone. You'll get this crazy lady who will yell at you if you don't order enough food for delivery. Here is a taste of my experience: Me: "I would like to have this and this..." Lady: "Okay." Me: "Okay would that be enough to use a card ((because I remember a past experience with the same thing because I did not order enough, me originally thinking that they want a specific amount for a card)) or can I use ca-" Lady: "THAT IS NOT ENOUGH FOR A CARD YES!" Me: "Then I'll just use cash then." Lady: "THAT IS NOT ENOUGH FOR DELIVER! YOU HAVE TO ORDER MORE!" (Yes, she did yell at me.) If you want to pick up or dine in, go ahead. Avoid ordering delivery. I will not be giving them my money again.

The food wasn’t bad but the amount of oil that I had on my beef broccoli was insane so bad I couldn’t finish it

I ordered the house rice and wonton soup, have not had the soup at the time of writing this but the rice was EXCELLENT, but I have to say the window and door needs a good cleaning, I understand it's an open kitchen with a lot of grease,combined with dust, but vinegar and water should help, just my opinion.

Delivery is a hot mess!! Have been waiting for 1 1/2 hr and waiting still. So I guess, no more ordering even though we used them for close to 20 yrs.

Ordered Fried Whiting fish.. was given tilapia!! Not good business just say it’s fried fish. Some people can tell the difference between the two. False advertisement

I ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken and they put the sauce on the chicken, so when I got home it was mush! Soggy nasty chicken and the bbq spare ribs were bland. The rice and egg roles were ok but the mushy chicken was something that cant be over looked. I probably wont go back there again.

good food however, i have been ordering from this place for years (my familys go to chinese place) but i unfortunately i will have to find another local chinese food place to buy from. the new delievery policy is ridiculous! i just tried to order $39 worth of food but they wouldnt deliever because it wasnt over $60! upset and hungry right now!

It's been a staple in the neighborhood for a very long time. The food is good but not great. It's fast and when you're hungry it does the job... Watched the person in the front scrap up stuff for the garbage then only wash her hands with water. NOT good. Paid for the food but didn't eat it.

Worste ive had in a long time. Id rather eat at the mall. Sesame chicken was pre fried just sitting there. When i ordered it it was re fried. The result crispy outside cardboard inside. Same with my egg roll, which i threw away because something in it smelled spoiled and the bite i did taste had no flavor what so ever. Rice is ok but the pork in it tasted funny also.

We ordered this place for lunch and brought it back to work. When we opened the bag there was a ROACH inside of the bag. Absolutely disgusting! I called them immediately and told them the situation and they did not seem apologetic at all and I asked for my money back on my credit card and they are not giving me my money back. Needless to say stay away from this nasty place with rude employees.

My fiance calls to order and asks for wings n rice meal and the lady says ok its 5 wings ok? My fiance asked if there was a 7 wing meal because we got 7 with our last wing meal. The lady said We dont have a 7 wing meal! I guess u dont want nothing! and hung up. While we were paying she asked a black couple, why u just standing there? What do u want?? The couple said they were picking up an order and the lady asked one of the cooks to help them like she didn't want to deal with black people. Smdh!!

I just had someone to go to pick up my order for me because I'm In the hospital that lady who answers the phone is super disrespectful she kept saying she doesn't unstabd what I'm saying I said yes you do if you don't understand English then you shouldn't be answering the phone not work any place in America. I asked for manager she lied and said he's not there and won't be back til monday. Minutes later I head him asked to speak to him and the same thing follows talking about they can't understand me. Bad food,salty as hell and they put so much sauce like they just throw the chicken and bunch of sauce and salt. And that is not even real fried rice that’s just yellow rice. Waste my money not again

terrible customer service and money hungry people. I placed an order for $14.50 mind you the minimum is $13.00 and they said i had to add two dollars more because i lived 20 min away, mind you i put the address in Google its 6 min drive i informed them spoke with the manger and they still refused.Never again i will not recommend then to anyone

Ok ordering Chinese on a Monday can be a bad idea. Ordered shrimp fried rice and when it arrived it looked like a few burned grains from the day before pot bottom, shrimp not done properly. Overall, rice was not good. WHAT CHINESE RESTAURANT SCREWS UP FRIED RICE?!

This is quite literally the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten, I ordered some fried rice and this.. thing, was unseasoned. The only thing it had was green peas, onion and chicken, there was no flavor AT ALL, garlic, black pepper, garlic, Szechuan Peppers ?? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING... this is a disgrace to Chinese food.

These people sent a driver that sat at somebody else house for over an hour didn’t even try to contact me. & refuse to remake my order so o can pick it up in store. The manager is very disgusting. The employees act clueless!!

This place is not worthy of a star.... I ordered Mein Fun with beef and you needed a microscope to find the beef in it $9.50 for a bowl of noodles and some scallions and sauce. And I ordered a large chicken fried rice which was tasteless both the rice and the chicken and it had maybe 15 peas in it. They may not use MSG but they also do not use any seasoning whatsoever. Do not waste your money.....

Horrible customer service and food! I have been a customer for the past years but recently I have experienced the worst customer service and food. It is not about the money but principle. The food is disgusting and the management/staff is just as bad.

I’d give this place zero stars if I could... The place is 12 minutes away from my house. I was coming down with a really bad cold so I figured some wonton soup could help me get better. (Plus I don’t have a car atm) But the order took almost two hours to get to my house... (I only ordered some soup, onion rings and fries.) I’m normally pretty patient when it comes to food delivery but almost 45 minutes passed and I called the restaurant. I asked About the progress of my food and the person on the phone told me “He should be there any minute.” 15 more minutes pass. I call again. I ask how long ago the delivery driver left. He said 30-40 minutes ago. SERIOUSLY? You couldn’t even call me back and tell me? The man on the phone proceeds to tell me that the driver has 2 other orders he’s handling. Okay? I was on the point of asking for a refund... Another 15 minutes pass. I called again, apoplectic and he gave me the delivery driver’s number. I call him, and it turns out they had the wrong number on my ticket. While I admit that part is my fault, I called the restaurant several times before the driver left and the restaurant had my updated number on file. Why couldn’t you give that to the driver?!? I go outside and wait. The driver finally pulls up and he’s like “it’s not my fault.” No apologies. No discounts. Nothing. Just a shoulder shrug... I proceed to eat my food. Fries are cold. Onion rings taste bitter. Soup is mediocre and bland. Bad food and even worse customer service. Stay AWAY. Never ordering from here again.

I would prefer to give this establishment zero stars but that doesn't seem to be an option. I tried their online ordering delivery option on "Beyond Menu". I received a confirmation email, a receipt, and my order was charged to my bank account. Over two hours later, I called the restaurant because my food still hadn't arrived. Although I was charged for both my food and a delivery charge, when I called, the lady who answered the phone could not give me a reason as to why my food wasn't delivered but that I could come to the store and pick up my order. I told her I selected the delivery option and she said she could cancel my order because she wasn't going to deliver it. She had no intentions of delivering my food and instead of calling or emailing me with that update, they charged my account and left me hanging. Do not support such a poorly operated business like China Sun. When ordering take out, take your business elsewhere

Very poor service, after 2 hours of waiting for my delivery. I had to call back inquiring about my order , to be informed I will have to pick it up!

I used to come to this place for Chinese food. I would order kum pow chicken The last order had no peppers and no peanuts but had over two cups of carrots. I am now found a new place that serves kum pow chicken the correct way. Sorry but you’ve lost a customer.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. Lady at the front is rude. I tried to place an order over the phone and she hung up on me because I requested my side in a diff container. I had a crazy craving and was upset so drove down the street to let manager know. She just smiled the whole time and didn’t care. Horrible customer service. Decent food.

Was about to place an order for the first time until I notice that the restaurant charges you a fee to place an order on there online app and yeah it's small $3.43 it's still a charge

Hadn’t eaten all day. We were starving and needed a place to sit and get something in our stomach. Sick of driving, we settled for this place. We walked in and didn’t even get acknowledged for a good 5 minutes. They weren’t friendly, AT ALL. Come to find out they have one table to sit to wait for your order. She made it pretty clear with the food in bags, that we were not welcome to eat it there. I’m guessing that’s because they don’t want you to taste it until you are nowhere near the restaurant. Literally the worst general tsao’s chicken I’ve ever had, and I’ve had some bad experiences through the years. It smelled and tasted “funny.” Two days later I’m still crapping my brains out NUMEROUS times a day. I’m guessing it’s from food poisoning. We are in town for 5 days and I’ve gotten to spend it on the toilet, thanks to this place. Awful food. Crappy customer service experience. Wouldn’t eat here again if it was the last standing restaurant in Florida!

Horrible we order at 4 something in the afternoon and didn’t come until now at 6:15 pm …

Food was not good. Egg rolls were thin and tasted of old oil. Bourbon chicken did not taste as expected and had a lot of fat. The house fried rice also tasted of old oil. Service at pick up was good but the place looked dirty.

Been coming here for years. The food is horrible now. I just order for my family and the food clearly has been sitting there all day and they decided to give it me. They didn’t give me the extra egg rolls I order, the orange chicken was soggy, and the rice and egg rolls tasted stale. Can’t even finish it. I’m guessing they’re under new management because the customer service is a lot better but the food quality has suffered.

The family special is robbery, especially if you get it delivered. I have ordered from here in person before and the food was great, but last night I ordered the family pack for delivery and it surely was not enough food for a family at all!!! It was as if they threw anything together at the last minute. The food was disgusting! I honestly felt like they gave us left overs because even the sweet and sour chicken was plain soggy and sour. I know they usually cook everything fresh but I was truly disappointed and will NEVER waste $35 here again!!!!

The rice has absolutely no flavor. Thank goodness for soy sauce. The shrimp dumplings were doughy and super white and I had to put it in the air fryer. The general tsos chicken was not fresh at all. The only thing that gets a pass were the shrimp egg rolls. Other than that 2 thumbs down. I will never eat here again

Great Chinese food in plantation always tasty and fresh . Nice friendly restaurant. Above was real , but as of recently China sun have been refusing my orders both credit cards and cash pick up .?I order from work and from homeb. Been a cust for more than 25 years . This is not for business ???? Why are you open come on Who owns this place .

Disgusting rice shrimp fried rice that was watery and the sweet and sour chicken is beyond nasty and has no flavor. I never had bad Chinese food in my life till today that’s an absolute shame. You need to do better serving unknown concoctions to these people

I just drove 6 hours and order food from the hotel from here have to meet the driver outside couldn't find me they didn't send any napkins or silverware my family just had to eat our food with our fingers all they had to say was I can save your # for next time I said don't bother their won't be a next time sooo sad cuz the food was great just not even a handful of everything minus rice never paid so much money to eat rice with my fingers very very disappointing all the way around

Super excited to try this place. Unfortunately, the shrimp was bad. I ordered shrimp & broccoli & shrimp lomein; Very tasteless. Terrible experience won’t recommend. The egg roll was ok.

The delivery experience was very bad as well. I had ordered from them many times before and enjoyed their food. What happened? New cook, management? I'll do without this place.

Your food will steam in a delivery bag 45 min while the driver makes multiple stops along the way and you get the pleasure of watching your food die on a live map. They have the nerve to ask for the tip upfront to boot! If you want hot and fresh...this is NOT the place. Two thumbs way, way down 👎👎
