Love this place! I can't believe I've never been to Lone Star Oyster Bar. We went on weekday for lunch. Love the decor with giant TEXAS flag on the ceiling & huge wood bar with barstool seating We loved our special fish & chips with cod (most places only have catfish). Portions were enormous & service was great !! I will be back soon to eat my way through their menu & will definitely have an adult beverage next time!

It was my first time coming here I had the shrimp scampi and for my side I had Cajun potatoes my partner got chicken fried steak with hush puppies and dirty rice. Great service and also a good place for happy hour our Michelob draft was 2.75 for a beer you can't beat that! Oysters were yummy!

Have been here twice in the month I have lived in For Worth, and will definitely be back! The food is amazing , and hit the spot both times. The only downside is that it’s so tasty, and such a great spot to hangout it can be hard to get a table, but definitely worth the wait or calling in to reserve a table ahead of time .

Make no mistake about it. This is a bar that serves bar food, It's not mid range seafood. We decided to stop in and grab dinner. The servers were nice but the service was just ok. The bar got crowded really fast and I couldn't tell if it was inexperienced servers or a staffing shortage. I don't want to bash this place but I can't give it praise either. If you want to stop in for drinks and grab some bar food, this is your place. If you want good seafood, there are other places close by. I had the pick 3 (fried catfish, fried shrimp and popcorn shrimp. The fish wasn't seasoned or barely seasoned. The shrimp were a bit spicy and the popcorn shrimp looked like cheese curds with no flavor. My wife had the ocean wraps and clam strips (just batter and barely any clam meat). We also had the fried pickles to start with which left us with the impression that everything else would be just as good. Again, this place is a bit for some but for me, not so much. That being said, Please try this place out for yourself. This is just my perspective.

We like to come here after the TCU football games; but will probably stip!! Service is horrible!!! Waitress is on her phone and also bartender on her phone as well; i had to go up and get eating utensils and plates!!!

I really want to like this joint but it’s hard to get past the smell of puke. They suckered me into the $3 chips & queso which was a can of flavorless, processed yellow sauce. Service was pretty okay but can’t make up for the food and stench.

Basically overpriced bar food. We ordered catfish, fried shrimp, popcorn shrimp, clam strips, ocean wraps and fried pickles. Food came out cold. Service could have been better. I'm going to give grace there since they seemed short staffed. Popcorn shrimp and catfish had no flavor. The only things worthwhile were the fried pickles and ocean wraps. If you're looking for a happy hour hang out spot, this place would do. If you're looking for tasty, flavorful seafood...then it's a hard pass, would not recommend this place.

Food tasted good, although it took forever to get, our waitress was horrible. It took almost 40 minutes to get our drinks. The waitress had a chip on her shoulder and made a huge sigh when we ask for a few packs of crackers for the toddlers that were getting grumpy at the table while awaiting our food. This was our first and definitely our last time here. I don't think the issues we had was a restaurant issue maybe more of a waitress issue.

This was a waste of money. I went here with some friends from Florida, and the food wasn't good. I ordered the oysters Rockefeller and it was topped with some puréed spinach with a sprinkle of grated Parmesan. My friends ordered the dog bites which are hush puppies with a small slice of sausage. Never again.

Alyssa is the worst server I’ve ever experienced. She was more worried about drinking with men than she was on us as paying customers. This restaurant is also filthy. I saw a roach crawl on the sticky floor I was struggling to walk on and not to mention the STENCH that hits your nose when walking in.

Stopped in today for their Chicken Fried Steak lunch special. I was told to come here by one of my coworkers. The waitress was very nice and quickly took my order. After being there for 25 minutes the waitress informs me the kitchen messed up my order with a poboy. I get 30 minutes to eat for lunch max 45 if I’m pushing it. At first I was going to have it taken out to go, but I thought against it for I had to be back to work with no time to eat it, and if I did okra, fried potatoes, and chicken fried steak isn’t good cold. I did not have the time to wait so I left. I feel bad for the waitress. I owned a restaurant for years and this can happen, especially when busy. They had 3 tables with a total of maybe 5 people total in there. A suggestion: have your waitresses check on the food more often and or have some form of confirmation the order being made was the one placed. I won’t be back.

Worst oysters rockefeller i ever had. They put a glob of spinach on it with what looks like craft parm and they were not baked at all. Horrible experience. I see why the bar was empty. Hopefully they close down soon. I ordered 12. Ill be throwing 6 away

We got our food to go, the half shell oysters were baked not chargrill like the menu said. The bowl of gumbo wasn't enough for the money I paid. The shrimp scampi didn't have any sauce to it. I know different states do food different from others, this was not even close. I spent $90.00 very disappointed
