You’re able to customize them too, which is helpful as there’s not a vegetarian option. There is indoor seating available too. The employees are friendly.

First time here. The place is clean, the staff is professional and the salads are delicious. They have hop pretzels too. Definitely recommend

old review: i am so heartbroken that you guys got rid of tuna. this was my favorite place and favorite bowl. and had the best options and now it is no more. the tuna salad is back!!! This has made my life so much happier. you don’t understand how happy i am to have seen that the tuna salad is coming back. i have missed it so much. i cannot wait to order my favorite food ever. thank you so so so so so much!

The Chop Stop is a great alternative for lunch. Their salads are made fresh to order. You can order one straight from their menu or custom make one to your preference. I have tried almost all the salads from the menu and every one was really good. What's nice is they also have soup, which was exactly what I wanted with the recent cold rainy days.

There is not a better deal for Chinese food than Lucky Chinese. The ladies there are great, And my goodness do they HOOK YOU UP! If your ever hungry, Not just like "hungry," but reeeeaaaallyyy HUNGry- Then this is your spot. Or- get ready for leftovers 😂 I pretty much invariably get the same thing: "combo 3, all chow mein, 3x's house chicken" (yes, I have a problem) and every time it's good. Especially for the price too, With the relative portion they give you for that price- No wonder they've lasted this long. They also offer bowls of you're a respectable individual whom can control themselves (I applaud you), and you can order any menu item individually as well. Been going here for years, Like so many others. Oh- so they used to be can only since they're inception, But now they do offer card POS so, Hugely more convenient. If you like Chinese, And if you're in the area, This place is an easy win.

Tried Lucky for the first time after seeing good reviews on it from Reddit. For me, it did not disappoint. I knew we were not going for the ambiance and rather than eat there, we took it home. And while this does have the Panda steam table feel, the food is very fresh as they keep refilling the bins for the popular dishes quickly. As others have said, the portions were large. For me though, I was more impressed with the flavor of the food. I got the BBQ Pork which was just amazing. It was juicy, had an excellent char siu crust and they cut up a huge amount for me. I also got the House Special Chicken, which had a good jalapeño kick and was also big on flavor. The green bean beef was not quite as good as the other two, but still yummy. I think some dishes are better than others at Lucky and my wife wasn't thrilled with the spicy spare ribs (they were more like braised rib pieces), but she also got the "chicken roll", which was like the best crispy crust egg roll I've tasted since moving down here. I would eat here against just to get that BBQ pork, but I just wish it wasn't so far for me.

Their platters are very reasonably priced and they feed a lot. Ordered several platters over the past year for parties and potluck and they were always a hit. Highly recommend calling ahead to order and then calling before pickup so they can pack it fresh. As for regular takeout, their combo plates are great too. Be prepared to wait 30+ min during peak meal times. Oh and they take card now!

The food here is so tasty! They also put A LOT of food on your plate. I love places like these and definitely recommend this place, especially over a place like Panda Express. I don't think I can do justice to describe how good the food is so please refer to the photos I took. Aside from the food, the establishment has lots of tables, plenty of seating, and it's super clean. Each table has napkins, Sriracha, and another hot sauce. They have a good selection of drinks, in my opinion with drinks like typical sodas and Arizonas which are delicious. As for vegetarian options, there's of course the default rice and chow mein but also vegetarian egg rolls and options like tofu (salt n pepper or fried).

Wow, huge servings! This was my first time here and now I know what everyone has been raving about! This is Chinese fast food at its best. The prices are comparable to a popular chain of similar restaurants in the area, but so many more choices and double the serving size; the pack the boxes so full they barely close. Be prepared to wait in line as they are very popular. You can order ahead, but even for that there is a small wait. I havent had good egg foo young in years, theirs is the size of my face and it was really good! I also tried the kung pao chicken, the bbq pork (sooo good) and the fried squid. All very good. I will definately be back!

Love this place! This is the second time we’ve eaten here and we have loved it. You get lots of food for what you pay for! For 3 items (plus fried rice/chow menu) it’s only $10!!! My husbands favorite so far is the black pepper chicken and mine is the house special chicken. Fried rice is a must!

I got two salads. One for me, the other for my son. I had them toss in the dressing on both salads. Next time I will definitely get mine on the side. The dressing was all I could taste.

Tasty and healthy, the pretzel sticks are a nice side to the salads. I wish they offered a vegan ranch dressing, I got the Asian sesame which was a little too sweet for me.

Love the concept. Great options. Good portion size. Need to ask for extra dressing for 1 salad.

Even though I don't give this place a 5 star still the best around my community and I drive 30mns with traffic once to twice a week. Food has started to show decline in flavor. I love their BBQ pork and their chicken teriyaki is pretty fair. Pretty much everything is fair. The special chicken was always a must. Anyways please try it.

8/24 - 3 item combo price up 3.5% in half a year. Only a handful in line, still oddly quick to order and checkout today. Bbq pork, shrimp and veggies, and orange chicken with noodles good and tasty today with no issue. 03/24 - Even with only 1 person ahead of me, takes more than 10 minutes to get 1 3-item combo because they are waiting for fresh noodles Even though older noodles are at the ready, and they know I gotta drive bleeding mom home (she tripped outside) for bandages on her knees. Today's combo included undercooked baby corn in the shrimp dish. 02/23-40 minute wait 6pm Thursday. Staff still cripplingly slow. Prices gone up, now almost $15 for a 3 item. 11/22-Wait times are the same slow, usual - 20-25 minutes during dinner time 6pm Friday with the line wrapping around to the entrance. .... Slow service is due to the staff. Eg to get some shrimp & vegetables, they might use the scoop to move it around 2-3 times in the holding tray before scooping it up to put it in the takeout box...each time!! Lucky used to be a bargain with 3 item combos under $10 stuffed with a ton of food, but today, a 3 item combo cost $15.21 after tax. That's about a 50~% jump in prices versus two years~ ago! Food quality can be uneven. For example, the BBQ pork is occasionally harder than a tough steak.

This place is always busy. There's always going to be a 10 min wait or so today it was more like a 20 min wait. I came here because i hadn't been here in a long time and i was in the area, and i was craving Chinese. Customer service is ok, food is ok as well. Is not worth the wait. I probably won't come here unless I'm in the area and really craving Chinese but i wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. On a positive note, i was short $1 . This place is cash only, so i told lady to remove one of my items since i was short $1 however 2 random people in line offered to pay the$1. I ended taking$1 from a young man. Thank you so much if your reading this i really appreciate it.

Very fresh and good can't complain about this food for sure! There's quite a few choices so that's why I'm giving this a 3 instead of a 4 . You need to come up with your choice ultimately, and there's lots of choices on the menu. Start off with two items and work your way up from there. I'm just saying! My wife and I arrived and weren’t even greeted by the employee Blake. Soft spoken young kid that was more interested in playing with his hair than being at work. With a soft spoken voice he asked if we had been there before. My wife answered yes and I told him it was my first time. After that, silence. Didn’t bother to explain the menu or any recommendations he might have. My wife began to order and with just the way he was looked like he hated his job. I was even getting very impatient with his demeanor and almost walked out. Only reason I didnt was because my wife had been wanting to eat at this place for a while now. Once she finished ordering, I asked him to give me the same order as her and no reply back from him. Again just playing with his hair over and over. Once I paid, he literally walked out and left. I then stepped outside with my son and my wife stayed to receive the order. When she came out, she said the other worker that was working there gave her the food and was really nice. Which is the only reason I am giving the 2nd star. Otherwise I would have done 1. This kid needs to get fired or work in a hair salon. Very unpleasant experience. I honestly dont even want to go back to this location. Id rather drive farther for better customer service. My wife said the Brea location is better. If the manager is reading this, please do yourself a favor and get rid of this kid before he runs off more customers.

I had a strong craving for this type of cuisine and, finding myself in the area, decided to stop by. From the moment | walked in, I was impressed by the exceptionally kind staff, who were genuinely welcoming. However, the food itself was a letdown. Despite the generous portion sizes and what initially seemed like good value for money, I found the dishes to be excessively greasy and severely lacking in flavor. This ultimately made the meal not worth the cost, as the lack of taste overshadowed the large portions. Beyond the food, the atmosphere and lighting were quite peculiar. It felt as though I had stepped into a time machine, transporting me to an Asian setting reminiscent of the 1980s. While some might find this charming, I personally found it a bit "off.

Sure, they give you a lot of food, but it was just gross. Prices are equivalent to say Panda Express, but chicken chow mein noodles were soggy and oily, and the chicken tasted like dark meat turkey. Orange chicken was burnt and didn't taste like orange chicken. We spent $35 and gave entire meals away after taking a bite of each.. very disappointed. This is equivalent to the $1 Chinese food buffets. Customer service was good and place looked clean at least...my only positive parts of this experience.

Our experience at lucky Chinese food was mediocre at best. I took us here because I saw on the local sub Reddit that lucky Chinese food in fountain Valley was the best Chinese food in Orange County. So we went off to find out ourselves. Don’t believe the other reviews— the food here is actually very bland and not outstanding as claimed. I myself got the two item combo with house chicken, fried squid, fried rice, and chow mein. The fried rice and chow mein had ZERO flavor. JUST LIKE ANOTHER REVIEWER SAID THE CHICKEN FELT EXTREMELY SOGGY AND ALMOST TOO TENDER TO THE POINT THAT I CAN CHEW IT WITHOUT MY TEETH. The fried squid was also very much a letdown. It was the best part of everything. Salty, crispy, the bare minimum that you expect from fried squid dish. Onto the service, it was extremely slow! The workers seemed like they were on their last legs giving their last scoop of food before giving up. It took almost 20 minutes for them to serve three people ahead of us and then another 10 or 15 minutes to serve ourselves. And to top it off, this place only takes cash?! I expect much better. Finally, the ambience was very depressing. There was no music, and all you can hear was the chewing of other guests however, I will say that the facilities were mostly clean. Unfortunately, I won’t be frequenting this small business as much as I love supporting small businesses. The portions were great however you should really spend your money elsewhere for Chinese food, even panda express is better than this.

This is the WORST Chopstop by far, its called Choppp Stopppp, yet this is the only location i go to that doesnt chop the ingredients, they take no pride in the preparation at all and its clear to see when you watch them, i stopped going to this location for months, came back...same story, big leafy, chunky, unchopped ingredients, lazy location wont be, back. Any other location everything is finely chopped, only here do i get big kale leaf whole cabbage leaf, etc. Never again. Quinoa clumped smh

Came in today and ordered two BBQ chops. I was the ONLY customer there. When I got home one had chicken the other had none. Way overpaid to have no protein in my salad. Very poor quality control especially being only customer at the time.
