Always a pleasure. Steak Nd eggs always made perfectly. 5$ triple berry mimosas is a plus ! Whole visit lasted 30 minutes from sitting down to finishing the food . Can't complain when the food and service is amazingly good .

Everything was great. The only thing that wasn't perfect was that my order got messed up. However, it was the easiest fix. The waitress was very kind & fixed it with a quickness. My sister and our friend met here for breakfast yesterday and we so incredibly pleased we did. Krysta was by far one of the friendliest, helpful and kind servers we have ever had. She made our experience wonderful. I took her recommendation of the brie and mushroom omelette and am so happy I did. Also the Tequila Sunrise Mimosa was new to me and worth the try also. Will definitely be going back and hopefully are seated in her section again.

Great breakfast! Had the corned beef hash and eggs and it was so good! The meat was superb. Service was really good and the coffee wasn’t bad either. I’d totally recommend this place to others to check out if in the area needing a good breakfast.

We arrived 15 minutes before closing. The manager (I think) told us to come in still serving. We noticed 2 other couples also arrived and were seated. He was attentive, polite and friendly to all. We didn't feel rushed because it was after closing time. The food was delicious and plentiful. Coffee was freshly made for me. At no time did we feel we had to hurry and leave. He stopped by and asked how our day was. He was the only server. The couple behind us also commented how comfortable they felt even though it was past their closing time. Overall a very nice Sunday dinner.

Service is excellent and food is so good! I recommend the jambalaya. Another suggests the corn chowder. The bread they serve you is nice, warm, and crunchy.

Great experience hosting my Mom's 80th birthday here. They were able to accommodate our party of 24. With advance coordination, they even printed a special menu for her. They were kind and attentive, and food came out relatively fast and smoothly for such a large group. We were all very pleased.

About four years ago we resumed our patronage of Mimi’s Cafei here in Fresno after a few times where we were disappointed with prior service. Amazingly the service turned out to be fabulous and later we found out it was the result of a new Customer Service Manager by the name of Shanda. She was so top notch that I had to write a letter to the owner/manager complimenting her amazing service. Since then we have increased our patronage by four times our previous visits. It’s hard to describe how completely Shanda has transformed the concept of what it means to provide superior customer service. As a reward Shanda has now been promoted to overall restaurant manager and next time you go there introduce yourself and wish her continued success. Sorry I can’t really recommend the wide variety of delicious entrees because I love the French Pot Roast so much I order it almost exclusively. It’s always amazing to me how one person can make such a difference in the success of a business. Mimi’s Cafe is the place to go for great service, great food, and wonderful employees.

My Crab cake Eggs Benedict was great. I loved the potatoes. My espresso martini was basic, but perfect for those that don't like sweet. Overall I will be back!

Connor was absolutely amazing. Loved how nice and accommodating he was with my service dog. The food was absolutely AMAZING! And not overpriced at all. I'm absolutely coming back here when I come to riverpark area. Connor was very sweet and was quite helpful with what I was wanting from the menus.

Just a few minutes drive from our previous hotel. This diner is big and has plenty of seatings. They serve good looking muffin and their menu is also good. I've ordered corned beef with poached eggs, potatoes and toast. Perfect poached egg and I ate all my meal. The staffs are also very nice and our meal came out quick. I've seen a lot of family here. I wanna try the yummy looking s'mores muffin but I'm too full lol..next time.

Went in today, I had a Mimosa and eggs Benedict , it was absolutely delicious and I am picky with my Benedict. This one was top 5 for sure! The service was great and very attentive. Food came out hot and flavors were decadent! Will be back again, hopefully soon sooner rather than later!

Every time my husband and I have eaten here the food has been delicious. We have had a variety of items. Tonight, we chose the beer battered cod. It was moist and flavorful with a nice crisper outer layer. The coleslaw was fresh and had a nice balance of seasonings. We always have their unsweetened iced tea, which has a light fruity flavor that seems to compliment just about everything. Maddy was our server tonight. She is pleasant professional, and hard working. We never ran out of iced tea or had to wait long for our bread, our dinner, or our tab. Thank you, Maddy and all of Mimi's staff for another wonderful experience!

I'm excited to see there is still a Mimi's Cafe around. This place was super busy but we got amazing service & our food was out fast. I had the waitress pick my dinner plate as I couldnt decide, and it was a great surprise. The chicken pot pie was scrumptious.

We loved this meal. Pistachio Salmon with market vegetables. Delicious. And of course a carrot muffin. But Conner made it all even better. He gave stellar service.

I really enjoyed Mimi's Cafe this time prior to the first time we went three years ago I vowed I would never go back and try them again but with insistence of my son we did. I was very happy with the service the quality of the food the portion size the overall experience was great. Big turnaround compared to my first time going there three years ago we'll be going back.

This was a perfect placed for our ladies group to get together. The food was delicious and our server, Lucas was very friendly and attentive. We stayed a bit longer after our meal to continue visiting but they never made us feel rushed. We had excellent service, right from the first person who seated us all the way through to the end of our visit.

We came in for breakfast and ended up with a mix of sweet and savory a classic Cobb salad for me and French toast for the table. The salad was exactly what you’d hope for: fresh, crisp, generous toppings, and balanced flavors. The French toast looked and tasted just as good perfectly cooked, soft in the center with that slight golden crisp on the outside. My date accidentally ordered the wrong item from the menu, but honestly that just gives us a reason to come back and try it again. Everything that did hit the table was consistently delicious, just like it always is here. And a special thank you to Fabiola our server was exactly what great service should be. Attentive without hovering, friendly without forcing it, and on top of everything the whole time. She made the experience even better. Great food, great service, and another solid visit. We’ll definitely be back.

I like Mimi's have for a long bg time. Today our lunch group met there and there were 7 of us this time. We had two people that got the French Dip with all the extras. I decided on Quiche Lorraine, just one bite and I was in heaven. The meal was an individual sized pie with cottage potatoes. So good. I had enough for dinner later

It's different but in a good way it feels like they focus more on authentic taste and texture over flavor. Flavor is good but it feels like it's all about the presentation and texture of the plate. The lemonade is what it should be like where it's extremely well made texture and amazing flavor to the point I savored it before it was gone too soon. Still good food!

Mimi's cafe is always a wonderful place to come and eat with family, even with your love mate, Sometimes you get the most amazing atmosphere and then. Sometimes you may not want to sit where you are seated. But it never hurts to ask and then they'll take care of you. As for food it's always delicious. There was a time that my hot cakes were burnt. But I gave my opinion and they remade it and they were absolutely delicious.

The atmosphere, the kindness from not only the staff but also other the customers was nothing short of pleasant. My waiter Johnathan deserves a medal. He was a complete gentleman and very attentive to not only our table but all other customers he served. The food was a solid 10/10, my compliments to the chef🤌🏿 not only was the inside beautiful and very clean, it made you feel like you were in an inn from the old days, there was so much to enjoy about this place besides the food and I will definitely be returning here to try another scrumptious dish.

I must say this fine eating establishment has been around for years. And to my dismay I have never visited it until recently when I was convinced to try it out by my cousin. I gladly accepted the invitation and was extremely surprised by the vast array of jovial atmosphere and appealing menu items The prices are fair. The food is awesome. I love the ambience and the atmosphere while sitting in the main dining room while enjoying this great dining experience. The wait staff and hostess are extremely friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place for a family gathering or a simple dining experience. The food is great and the wait is minimal. So all in all this turned out to be a great dining experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone that is wanting a hot filling home cooked meal at a fair price. Try it you will like it...I did. I look forward to many more dining experiences here. Mimi's is a good place to go to if you are in the area. The staff is very nice, and the food is tasty. The bread and muffins are savory, and the main courses are good. The only negative is probably the wait time, but either than that, it is a fine place to go to.

The Pot roasted with mashed potatoes melted in my mouth. Quiche with shallot vinegrette was solid. Banana chocolate chip muffin was filling and fresh. Portions were a bit smaller. I love the atmosphere with the French posters. Very comfortable. Service was a bit slow otherwise a comfortable experience overall.

I visited Mimi’s Cafe on a Friday morning around 11 AM for brunch and was promptly seated, which was a great start to the experience. I ordered the berry crepes with eggs, hashbrowns, and sausage. The crepes were the highlight of the meal—absolutely rich in flavor and just delicious! 🥞🍓 The food arrived quickly and was fresh, making the experience even better. 🥓🍳 The overall atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed brunch. I would definitely dine here again. A solid choice for brunch in Fresno! 👍🏼

The quiche Lorraine was great as was the house salad. The meatloaf was thinly sliced and very overcooked. Baked potato was very small. Au gratin potatoes were a nice sized serving, served loaf/casserole style.

Had the Short rib egg Benedict it was really good the Hollandaise sauce is off the wall really good also tried the quiche Lorraine really good also

We recently moved in from the Bay Area, where our Mimi's suddenly closed a few years back, much to our regret. So we were excited to find a Mimi's in Fresno, just 15 minutes from our house in Madera. In the lobby was another couple, who said they had been waiting quite a while. It took however only a minute or two and there was Destiny! She came running, apologized and quickly seated the queue of 4 couples that had formed in the mean time. Immediately we noticed this location had the same welcoming French themed atmosphere as the one we had been frequenting before. The menu had changed, btu there were still plenty of the classics, like the roasted half chicken, the grilled salmon, the pot roast and the meat loaf. We went for Onion soup as an appetizer. It was all that we hoped for. The wine list was also as we ar eused to and we went for a glass of the Pinot Grigio and a glass of Malbec. So far so good! As entrees I chose the Crab, Shrimp & Bacon Pasta and my spouse the grileld atlantic salmon. The pasta tasted ok, but instead of the chunky presentation as on the menu, this was one big thick sauce, with no sign of chinks of crab and blurring the fresh ingredients Mimi's is know for. I am sorry I did not take pictures, but it did not come to mind at the time to do so. The salmon was accompanied by a very nice fresh salad with a vinaigrette, lloked good and tasted good. The salmon itself though was extremely salty, maybe because the salmon cut was quite thin? We notified Destiny of it, and she handled it very well. Although we were not excited about our entrees, we are for sure coming back, mainly because of Destiny's service. She runs around to make everybody feel attended to, always with a smile on her face, and she knows how to deal with bad news.

I haven't been here in 4 years...(3 Very bad experiences) and I have too say, things have changed! There are so many things on the menu to choose from. I am not going to point out anything specifically. What I am saying for those of you who have not been here in the past 3 or 5 years. Come check it out. I will point out the salad and the salmon one in particular. This is a healthy sized piece of salmon, maybe 10 oz...yummy.

Not a bad place! Definitely reminds me of a good spot for an older crowd (which I’m getting there). But, I got the French Dip & will say it was definitely tender, along with not being dry or chewy. Something I would order again. All in all: Good service & friendly!

Took the family out for breakfast on Sunday. We were seated in less than 5 minutes and we had our drink order taken in less then 5 minutes. 5 minutes later our food order was taken, it took about 8 to 10 minutes for our food order to come to our table. Food was very good, I was not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Portions we big enough, we left satisfied. The chicken and waffles we're very moist, I got 2 thumbs 👍up. I had the Philly dip sandwich 🥪 😋 and was very pleased and was filling. As you can see we didn't take home any leftovers.

I only have had good experiences here with family or friends, meals are reasonably priced, ingredients look fresh. Only been to breakfast or dinner and the most I've had to wait is about 15 min. They have good food and different areas with different vibes, homey, bar, French chic eclectic, patio. The service has always been good. I noticed a change in menu last time I went, for the better. One suggestion: you could offer more skinny drinks.

First time here for breakfast with a friend. We arrived about 9:30 am and there were several people waiting to be seated. We were told it would be about 15-20 minutes. There were definitely empty tables, so it must have been a staffing issue that day??? We decided to go ahead and wait and were seated in about 10 minutes. The staff member who was relieving the hostess for her break was very accommodating when we asked to switch from a table to a booth and that was much appreciated. Our server came promptly and we placed our orders. It did take quite awhile to have cream for coffee brought to our table. It also took about 20 minutes for our food to arrive after we ordered. The food was ok but not on par with the price point. My potatoes were dry and cold. And eggs were nothing special. Portion size was okay. The restaurant is charming, staff was good, food ok, prices a bit high for breakfast ($16-$18) for French toast dishes. (About$14 for egg dishes)

Atmosphere is really nice for being an older restaurant did like the look inside. Food was good. Slow.Over 8 mins before we where even seated. Another 10 min before order taken and 20 min before food brought to table. Never returned to tablw to check on us and had to ask for the check. The only positive was the French onion soup.

There were a few of us there for a birthday party. I know they try to serve everyone's food about the same time, but my eggs and sausage were barely even warm. And everyone at the table was making the same comment about there food.

Sitting here waiting for the very poor and slow service to return. I have plenty of time to write this. Two tables sat after me and we all have to wait 10-15mins to get service. Then my daughter ordered tree bark ooops I mean chicken n waffles. She wanted some ranch so she could choke it down. That was 25mins ago. Banana muffin was just a bunch of melted chocolate chips. This isn’t the Mimi’s I remember.

When my son told me that my mom was taking my son to this restaurant, I said, "why?" Every time I have come here, the food is not only scant, but expensive. Look at those fries. I call them Ethiopian fries. The waitresses or waiter are always Caucasian. With that being said...the service is slow and refills are hard to come by. However a minority busboy came by to refill our drinks. In addition, the patrons who are of the same culture, I always hear their gripes of their lives. It's the same old story at Mimi's. My mom who is 88 years, does not want to patrons this place. Au revoir Mimi.

With this weather, I was looking for a place that served French Onion soup... and Mimi's came up when I Googled it. Unfortunately, it was not what I expected. My Caesar salad had more ríbs and even a piece of lettuce that looked spoiled, and little romaine. My French Onion soup had more cheese outside of the bowl than in it, and this small bowl was the large according to the menú. My son had better luck with his chicken entree. Neither his soda or my coffee was refilled once until i asked for more coffee. The place looks old and tired; the carpet was dirty and the bakery display was as unappetizing as could be. Not recommending, not returning.

Went on a company outing I ordered a burger because in my head its extremely hard to mess up something so simple. To my gratitude I am fortunate enough to tell the world I have been proven wrong. Im not worried about the wait for the food I understand how busy it gets but to put an avocado peel on a sandwich is a first for me. I did get it corrected and the lady who served me apologized. But the damage was done.

My friends and I originally had Panera planned for a late lunch. However, we decided to give this place a try since it was nearby. One of us suggested to skip this place, as he had tried here n did not like the food before. But we decided to give it a try anyways. Once our food was served, we were not impressed. We were trying each others food to see which ones we liked or not. One dish was salmon. The salmon did not taste fresh. And the bacon which was part of a side dish, was already soggy. One of the sandwiches was average, nothing worth mentioning, and we would not order it again. I think the price is alright, considering the amount and food portions served. But overall, we agreed we would not come back. Simply cuz you could get better food else where, especially in this area where there are plenty of restaurants.

But today i found blonde hair in my omelette 🤢 , I spoke to the manager she apologized and offered me a 10% discount and said she hopes I come back again . I'm surprised people give this place more than 1 star. Having been there twice in one week and was constantly trash. I decided to write this review. Food has no flavor and drinks were had to get. Wait times for simple things like water were extremely long. Definitely dont recommend this place to anyone under the age of 70.

We searched the web to find a place that was open on Thanksgiving. Thank you so much for being open and we made reservations for 2 PM. The place was absolutely beautiful decorated atmosphere was good hostesses were on their game as it was extremely busy. We were seated about 2:20 PM. Our waiter asked for our drinks and he took our order. We ordered The spinach, appetizer and three Thanksgiving lunches. We ordered two waters and a mimosa And didn’t receive them for over a half an hour. So not a good start. Four separate tables were seated 20 minutes after us and they received their drinks, their appetizers and their soups and we still haven’t received our drinks. My wife spoke up and asked for a manager someone sent a man named Angel. He was nice but dismissive of our concern. We continue to wait and finally got our waters. No apology from our waiter for waiting so long for our drinks, no update on when our appetizer was going to be out and we didn’t have any utensils. Sometime later, our spinach dip appetizer came out and it tasted like soap, and we couldn’t find our server so we asked another gal if she could take it away and she did and it was taken off for a check so thank you. We were looking forward to a family date together as this Thanksgiving, all three of us had the day off. My spouse and son work at Costco and definitely understand it being crazy busy and having to provide exceptional customer service to the guests that visit their stores. When the Thanksgiving lunch was brought out, it was very bland no flavor no love behind it. To wrap it up, although we waited too long for our drinks, were dismissed, not served in a timely manner and food being lacking In flavor, My son said it’s still Thanksgivings mom and we are going to leave a tip. Ordered the chefs special. Had to send back Pumpkin Perdue. Received stale bread. Opened up the pieces to find the pumpkin cream cheese. Maybe a teaspoon smeared into middle of bread. That's it looked like thinly spread butter. Nothing else no icing on top like their picture. So sad. Restaurant was not busy. By the time they got back with me my husband was done eating. Left there hungry.

The owner of Mimi's Cafe asked me to send a full explanation to their Guests Relations email address but didn't have the professionalism to respond to my full explanation and details. Very disappointed that a resolution was never reach but instead quite a distaste for this restaurant's manner of handling issues! I attended a seminar on Alignment Health Care Plan at Mimi's Cafe on September 23, 2025. General Manager of Mim's Cafe told me that lunch has always been provided during these seminars. However, I was misinformed as the 3 representatives from Alignment Health Care would not provide lunch. Very disorganized! I was the only person to show up for the seminar which wasn't even a presentation. The one representative just asked me if I had any questions and then gave a short description of the plan. General Manager of Mimi's Cafe should be more knowledgeable of her clients in the future and not misinform customers of a lunch included when no lunch was included! Zero stars for the General Manager of Mimi's Cafe and Minus Zero Stars for the 3 Representatives from Alignment Health Care Providers. I should be compensated for a lunch at Mimi's Cafe for wasting my time and energy to drive all the way to this restaurant and not be provided any lunch when I was told that lunch was included!

Walked in on a Tuesday evening right before 6 pm. Stood and waited for 5-10 minutes before someone came to greet us and take us to a table. Our drink order got taken immediately (Coke products) and received shortly afterwards. About 20 minutes later our order was taken. Our waiter had about 5-6 tables of 5 or less people, most had 2-3 people. It wasn’t busy at all, but you would have thought they were slammed for how long things have taken. We got our lukewarm food about 25 min later. None of it was hot. Didn’t send it back because it had already taken forever. A couple other tables get filled up and now I hear our waiter offering them a bread basket. We never got offered a bread basket. We’re eating our lukewarm dinner and I notice across the room an older couple comes in with a chihuahua and they sit down at a booth and the dog jumps up on the booth and sits with them. I can’t believe this is happening. I’m pretty sure “service dogs” aren’t supposed to be sitting in chairs at the table. Next thing I know a waitress comes over to give the dog a bowl of water on the bench of the booth and pets the dog. She walks off down the aisle of the restaurant and enters another part of the dining room. I can’t believe what happened again. I’m watching the dog and looking for this waitress and making sure she’s not bringing me any refills or condiments. We get to the point where we need some to go boxes and our waiter finally came over to us to ask if we needed anything. I told him we need our containers to go, how lousy our experience was and I wanted to talk to the manger so they know what’s going on and to fix future problems. He apologized and went to get the manager. Guess who walks over to the table. Who I thought was a waitress petting the dog, turns out it was the manager on duty. OMG! I explained to her how slow the service was, the food was barely warm, and told her I saw her pet the dog. She made up some excuses, comped my meal and offered me some free muffin’s. Do I want free muffins after watching her pet the dog? NO WAY! I doubt she washed her hands afterwards. Needless to say, I don’t recommend coming here and I will not give them another try.

I used to go here with my family for years until the other day. I am a Muslim woman, and I eat halal. The manager was extremely sarcastic and rude to me for absolutely no reason. First I asked about the menu and she dismissed me in a very sarcastic tone, then refused to clean the grill for my food and got extremely angry and rude. I gave her the option to use a clean pan instead, but she didn't listen and continued about the grill. Later, I overheard her dramatizing the situation to the cook. Will not go to again.

I got treated badly and had security watch me the whole time because what I was wearing. I got judged by my clothing and my server didn't think I could pay for my meal, because what I was wearing. And I was refused a take out box unless I paid first with my card because I felt the server wanted to do something bad to me. So I paid in cash instead. Please watch out for anyone else if you dress different you might get judged like I did. This was the worst service I ever felt before, if this didn't happen I would let a good review because the food is very excellent to eat and other staff members are nicer than the server I had.

Very bad experience for it being my first time. Total wait 2 hours and maybe 1 hour and half was just waiting for our food. Another family got seated and their order was taken at the same time as ours their food came they ate and left while we still waited. When we did get our food it was tasteless you can tell it was sitting under the lamp for a long time. Potatoes were dry my avocado was black poached eggs were rubbery inside just a bad experience. Well not be returning.

Please look at the photos and tell me how the health department shouldn't shut them down for serving food on this. Rusty rack Think about this, if they serve you food using this rusted racks then you can only imagine how they prepare and cook your food in the kitchen when you don’t see them. It was a favorite in the past. My guess is they were understaffed and different chefs. We waited about an hour and 40 minutes from the time we sat down to the time we got our food. My dates sandwich was burnt. Mine was over cooked and rice was under cooked. Our waiter was very nice . Offered me another plate. I chose a different one. It was better. But I have to say that the food is not what it used to.

I went to Mimi’s to have breakfast. The coffee was Amazing! BUT, the biscuits and gravy were AWFUL🥴 and the price was $14.99. So I took a few bites and I could not eat another bit. I left me food there and paid my bill. I really like a lot of their menu items but this breakfast was enough to make me not want to return. 😞..

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT, yet great service from the waiters/waitresses/hosts,etc. So this used to be my favorite place to eat. I absolutely love coming here. I thought the food was very unique & service has usually always been 10 out of 10. However, recently, I had a very weird experience.. I normally order a couple different things, but I noticed this time one of the things I normally order that was seasonal was out of stock. So I ended up just ordering the other one I usually get (Just ordered this actually a couple weeks ago too). The extra fees on an UberEats was kind of crazy…So I screenshotted my cart, & decided to just drive over there. I figured even though it was a far drive, it was still cheaper than getting it delivered. When I arrived, I asked the guy if he could order me the item. When he came back from the kitchen, he told me that the manager had said they couldn’t do that item for me since it was “seasonal”. Not the workers fault, but it was just kind of a disappointment & waste of time because I just ordered this item. I just feel as if the manager just didn’t care to consider the situation at hand professionally at all. Also if it’s available online to order, I don’t understand why they couldn’t just do it. I let them know I would just order it then. The sweet male worker told me they can always try to make it work since they have The item they used to make it available”… I even saw that item on the menu as well. Again, just sucks I wasted my gas & time for management to just brush me off like that
