Love that chicken at Popeyes! Not always worth the wait at the drive thru or hassle with traffic, but you are kindly rewarded with hot spicy chicken and delicious sides if you are patient enough. I've always been a big fan of the red beans and rice... kinda smokey flavor.

This is a fast food place.It's not a formal sit down dinner. Every time I get fried chicken at Popeyes, it's always hot and taste great and it's exactly what I expect, and it's a great value for what i'm paying.

I love this Popeyes location and its employees. The manager Luz is doing such a fabulous job and we are always so happy to see her when we go by. She is always so busy but still takes time out to say hello. The food is always hot and fresh. They get my order right every time, and I go there quite often, and the employees are so friendly. For this reason, I will go out of my way to only go to this location, even if I have to drive 20 minutes out of my way. My children even love the employees, every time we go through the drive thru they are always smiling and waiving. 5 stars.

Visited Popeyes for the first time, ordered sandwich combo spicy one, the taste was so good. Probably the best fried chicken sandwich i ever had. I used sweet heat sauce along with that, it tasted great with that. Ordered butter biscuits as well, tasted great with the honey. Staff were friendly and patient.

We were there on May 2nd 2023, and while the food was good, inside the restaurant its too cold. I'm a hot natured person, but damn, you could hang meet in there for storage! Even one of the employees working the drive through was wearing a pullover hoodie because she was cold! Its always been this cold there, even before covid, but this is the first time I've thought to write a review about it.

The chicken sandwiches here are ridiculous. This is the third time I've been here where I ordered a chicken sandwich and got my daughter some tenders that we don't want to have come out in the Buffalo variety, but plain. For the third time in a row they messed it up again today. That chicken sandwich though.

Friendly service. Food served efficiently and hot. They spicy fried chicken is a go to for our family. We love the red beans and rice, though I would prefer more red beans than rice. I was able to try the new chicken sandwich on my last visit. It was disappointing at best. Chick-fil-a has nothing to worry about. Probably would have been better if it was warm and the bread wasn’t stale. I did like the sauce they add to the sandwich. Of course we will be back for more spicy fried chicken. I might even give the Chicken sandwich another try.

The staff and manager on the evening shift were friendly, and even know my family side Fries were left out I called in and spoke with a lady manager gave her my ticket number #82 and she turned my frown upside down. If it wasn't for my children only liking fries because the other sides are spicy I wouldn't have driven back up to the pop-eyes a second time. She made she my fries were fresh and hot. She even threw in couple deserts for the trouble and apologized several times. Taking ownership, and not making me feel like it was my fault. Making it right is hard for some places now a days and I wasn't expecting anything free I just wanted what I paid for and to make sure the manager informed her staff to slow down and be more careful on future orders. Thank you for the best service I will be returning in the near future.

It would be 4 stars, and should be, but why is it that every Popeye's I have visited in Austin and now Georgetown, doesn't seem to have hot fries when it's during a peak sales period? This location on Williams Dr is now on my growing list of fries mystery. My chicken sandwich also was tepid - again, HOW? During a really busy period is when popular items usually are the hottest, so is the crew at this place making so much ahead of time that they're giving out barely-warm food? Come on, guys. I live on limited income, and a trip to a fast food place is an occasional splurge. I like to be happy with the experience when I have one of those limited times. If I can get a tasty chicken sandwich and fries somewhere and it's always hot, I'll go there instead. Sure, it's nothing in the grand scheme of things for Popeye's. They won't miss my money. The real question then is: does principle matter to anyone? The reason I gave four stars instead of three is to give props to two workers there. Both times I've visited, two drive-thru people are super polite and friendly. One is a sweet, young black woman and the other a sweet, young white guy. The manager there probably knows which two, and I think the woman I mention may be in management. Don't change, you two!

I visit this Popeyes location because both of the Round Rock locations are horrible. I always go inside to eat, because I learned my lesson about using the drive-thru during Covid. Every time I go, the staff has been friendly and the food has been hot and tasty. I agree with others that the employees children may be a distraction at times, but most times I've been there the children have been well behaved. My only complaint is that it is impossible to find a clean table. The last time I was there, I was the only patron in the place and nobody was coming through the drive-thru. This seemed like a perfect opportunity for someone to take some initiative and clean the tables and floor before people started to come back in. Instead of cleaning they gathered in the kichen area, laughing together in a rather loud manner. When I left about 15-20 minutes later, all the tables and the floor were still as dirty as when I walked in. If they can't keep the restaurant area clean, it makes one wonder what else they aren't cleaning. Amazing that this is a training restaurant when it's painfully obvious that they aren't even interested in how they present themselves to the public.

I always like getting the standard Popeyes fried Chicken. I can't get their spicy chicken right now because a medication I take makes my mouth way too sensitive to peppery and spicy items. But they're plain chicken is very good and always very fresh and honestly tastes better than Kentucky fried Chicken to me. Last time I got their eight-piece butterfly shrimp basket but the shrimp aren't actually butterflied and the breading is a little bit heavy on the shrimp so that's why they're not getting more Stars on their food rating.

Food has always been hot and fresh. Staff is always friendly and helpful even when they are very busy. I haven't been inside yet. I've only been through the drive thru a couple of times. I tried the new teryiaki Cajun wings and they were good. A little too much teryiaki for me. Still liked it though.

Chicken was fresh and hot. They were out of thigh we wanted and substituted a breast at no upcharge for the inconvenience. Service was very quick, and the employee was friendly. FYI...the unsweetened apple cranberry tea still has a sweetness to it. Maybe the apples? Not sure it's truly a no sugar option. Chocolate chip biscuit is better than their regular buscuits. Full disclosure, I have never liked their biscuits. Que shock and awe. Great location.

I really enjoy Popeyes, this location is always clean. Sometimes they are out of shrimp, which is very disappointing. Once this location was out of sweet tea (whaaaa?!) But the chicken is always great. Drive thru is a breeze, friendly people working hard. We love our local Popeyes!

Well, you can't beat Popeyes red beans and rice!! It's delicious. The service was fast and friendly thru the drive thru. However, I had an upset stomach and did feel like making dinner for my family. I ordered chicken and requested all dark meat and received a breast and spicy chicken which didn't go well with my upset stomach. Oh,also my Biscuit was cut in half and the bottom piece turned upside down and room temperature. Other than that, food tasted great! Spicy didn't go well with my stomach..

Service is good, and the food comes out as expected and pretty fast on a Saturday lunch. As much as i love my Popeyes chicken sandwich, boy has food has gotten expensive, 2 chicken sandwich meals, and 2 orders of ghost pepper wings were $35 bucks!! Yikes! I may have to just stick with the chicken sandwich from here on. I'm just glad the service is good.

I love Popeyes! But I'm getting discouraged. 3 of us ate. 3 piece chicken w/fries, 5 piece strips w/mashed potatoes, chicken sandwich w/fries. The chicken had been sitting to long, the strips were 50/50. A couple of them were straight up jerky. The fries were cold and the chicken sandwich was ok. Not a good food experience. 😕

I love Popeyes, but not this location! The food is good, but the service is absolutely horrible!!! Also, check your order before leaving - they forget our fries. Service can make or break an experience and this location is getting bad reviews because of the service. Looking at other reviews this is not a new thing. Management needs to wake up here and hire friendly people that want to do a good job. Or at least retrain staff and set standards. My 3 stars is generous and only because the food we did get was good. 0 stars for the service here.

My food was all good besides the sliver of blackened chicken strip they put in my chicken wrap. It was like it was non existent. My friend works for Popeyes corporate and she told me that they were supposed to give me on WHOLE chicken strip, not a stripe of a strip. Now that I know better, they better not try that again.

UPDATE: Two years later. Same story. Didn't have cajun tenders unless I wanted to wait 4 minutes. Kinda defeats the purpose of "fast" food. Got the wrong sauce and wrong side. That's supposed to be ranch and red beans and rice in that photo. It was OK. Again, still have to be flexible. As with most Popeye's we've been to, the drive through was slow, and they didn't have all the items we wanted to order. If you have lots of time, and you're willing to be flexible with your order, the chicken is good. The sides are average at best.

I’m not going back, they always forget the side order in the drive through. Get home and you don’t have all the food you ordered. Not the first time it has happened at this location.

Went here hoping to try their chicken since I have never eaten at Popeye's before and upon approaching the counter we were greeted nicely but informed they only had dark meat and nothing else. We ordered some beans and rice instead for our family and ended up going across the parking lot for our lunch. The staff was very friendly and courteous about the situation. I was told it happens pretty often and where I live we don't have a Popeye's Chicken so I was really looking forward to trying their food.

I ordered the four piece chicken sticks I believe that's what it's called with mashed potatoes. Mashed potatoes were good! However what I got was four pieces of basically dark meat which I'm not a fan of. I tried to call to let them know my displeasure with the incorrect order. Nobody answers! So I tried two more times and their mailbox is full obviously with a lot of complaints! So much for you people the place next door is much better you lost my business. Not because you made a mistake it's because you don't even have a voicemail that we can leave any comment on. Looks like very poor management which equals very poor employees which equals not good food and that equals you lost my business.

I was not happy the guy at the window gave me my food. As I watched from the window he kept licking his finger to open bags and touching the tops. You have on gloves. Lick his finger again while pouring drinks. Gloves is appropriate, this was my favorite Popeyes there food is good

The place was filthy. I was presumptuous in eating there, thinking since it was new, it would probably be clean and, given its location, well-managed. Nothing could be further from the truth. The tables were all dirty, and the kitchen looked filthy. The guy working the chicken touched his beard and was on his cell and never washed his hands. He did put on gloves. I won't be back.

I been here a couple times for the past few weeks and every night I'm missing items. I came here last night threw drive thru and they forgot to put my kids apple juice for the meal.

Always messing up my Uber Eats orders

Had not been back to this location for about a year. Was surprised the menu had changed for "family meal" no longer including 2 sides; only one. I asked what happened to 2 sides, and was told menu changed. Gravy/mashed potatoes had a "chemical" taste and chicken was not very spicy/flavorful compared to typical experience. Not sure if it was just this store, if they changed the recipe? Anyway, hard to find a good fried chicken anymore...will try KFC again, next time the urge for fried chicken comes up.

First off.. I wanted a Family Fest.. I was told its only available online. I dont see anywhere that states its online only! So, fine.. I initially wanted to spend $35.99.. now I guess I will have to spend less.. great way to upsell your products! Then I got home.. what happened to the size of the large sides??? Are you kidding me? Thats a large? You got Starbucks small coffee cup bigger than this! THIS IS RIDICULOUS! Im afraid to ask what the small look like.. so I ended up spending $25.27 instead of $35.99.. Not planning to go back anytime soon...

I bought a Flounder Combo. I asked for a regular fish sandwich and received a spicy fish fillet. The fish fillet was cold and I couldn't eat. I threw it away and never plan to go back. All I ask is that yall do better and provide fresh food as if you were feeding your own family.

I have visited the store many times and every time something is missing from my order because of careless reading and no one ever answers the phone. I ordered 6 specials on Tuesday they gave me 6 pieces instead of 12 pieces. I order 4 biscuits I get 2 biscuits. It’s like they see one number and automatically assume that’s what you suppose to get when you have to give multiples!!!!

They close at 1am, but stop cooking spicy chicken at 9pm. The night manager is very short and rude when asks questions.

Ordered through Uber eats… Food was cold as hell. Literally delivered 6 mins down the road, no way it got cold that fast just embarrassing as a store. My chicken sandwich breading just came right off wasn’t crunch what so ever, which basically mean it’s been sitting up all night. I threw the whole meal away where it should be, you guys have to do better. Also PAID for condiments that i didn’t get, that didn’t surprise me after the food being so bad. If i could rate it zero stars i would figure it out and do better.

Twice we have gone there and ordered a 3 piece meal, only to be charged for a three piece with an extra charge for 2 of them to be breast, but only received a regular 2 piece meal . Called and left a message...no return call. My wife stopped by to talk to them and it was like talking to children. Just not worth the effort to go here.

I spent 18 dollars on chicken and asked for legs and spicy chicken strips. Instead of simply telling me they didn’t have legs the gave me a breast and 2 wings and instead of spicy strips they gave me mild. I’m very disappointed with the service from this location and will not be returning. The person working drive through also got an attitude when I could not hear her through the speaker. We have gotten the chicken sandwiches on several occasions and they have always been tasty. However, today we decided on the 5 piece chicken tender box. I had to use the drive-thru as the dining room was closed. I ordered one spicy and one mild with fries on one and mashed potatoes on the other, with honey barbecue dipping sauce. Upon arriving home, I found rice and beans instead of mashed potatoes, no dipping sauce and the chicken tasted old, like it had been sitting out for quite a while. On top of that, there was no receipt in the bag!😒😒😒

I drive through on Saturday evening and they were quite busy. I spent approximately $45 on chicken. It was awful!! The worst I’ve ever gotten! The sandwich was so dry and the nuggets were dry and hard and no chicken! By the time I got the breading off there was no meat! The legs looked like they were from a young baby chicken…I was actually afraid to eat them so I went to Bush’s Chicken! I’m so disappointed and frankly angry. I will boycott this location (the only one in Georgetown Tx. In fact, I may just avoid Popeyes altogether and go to Golden Chick!.

I ordered on Uber Eats and whoever is making the red beans and rice needs to be trained properly. I used to work for Popeyes and this teaspoon of beans with 1/2 a cup of rice...!! It's such a disappointment to want, pay for and wait for delicious food only to be ruined!!! There's nothing you're going to do about it I already know. Just saying!!! Disappointment

The lady expediting was great. Very personable. Ordered to go. The food came out dine in. Asked for 2 breasts and 3 thighs. Got 1 breast, 1 thigh, 1 wing, and what used to be a breast (meatless breast). This was the second bad experience at this location. I will eat at Popeyes again, but never at this location.

The employees are nice but 90% of the time will leave things out of the order, usually biscuits. Also the last two times I visited instead of getting spicy I was given mild and the chicken was either old (like previous day old) and refried because the crust was fresh but first layer of chicken was dry and hard or they are not battering it properly and letting hot oil get inside the chicken while cooking. The dark meat also has the smell/taste of cheap dog food. The cook needs to go and they need a new chicken supplier.

The more we go to this Popeyes, the worse our experiences get. 2 times they've forgotten items we ordered the line is long 90% of the time we go so I understand them being a little overwhelmed. They are starting to become very rude as well, such as "anything else" opposed to "what else can I get for you" be more friendly and double check your orders before handing them out!

I usually love this Popeye restaurant. But today had a bad experience. I went inside to get an order to go. 12 pieces with 2 sides. The 2 sides were beans and rice. The containers were more than 3/4 rice and very little beans. Instead of 12 pieces of chicken we only received 8. I was charged for the 12 piece dinner. I also ordered popcorn shrimp about half of that was small fried batter. I really do not know what happened! I also live far enough away that it was not cost worthy to return to get them to fix it. Very disappointing!

Went through the drive thru and got the 3 piece combo. Female worker could have had a better attitude. Got my order and left since I had to be at work soon. Food was not hot at all and was given a Diet coke instead of a Regular coke. Overall experience was not good. This isn't the first time they've ruined my order or gotten things wrong.

I've been going here for a long time. It seems every time I go the staff care less and less about the product they sell. They can't get an order right, can't get basic things like forks, straws, or sauces in a bag, and the way they packaged my meal today was a complete joke. Popeyes probably has in my opinion the highest potential to be a well loved restaurant but it's tainted by their inability to hire and train competency and complete disregard for the cleanliness of their restaurant.

We ordered from here and received only part of the order in total. They left out fries and Mac for the meals after buying the combos. Also the wings are not tossed in any sauce they just dump it on top of wings in the box, feels like minimum effort. Overall I’ve like other Popeyes but definitely won’t be back to this location. Might as well have gone next door to canes.

My wife and I stopped in the drive thru today around noon. We ordered 3 piece tenders, 6 piece chicken wings, 1 biscuit and two slaws. No drinks. We were charged for dinners. The total was over $21.00. you guessed it. Never going there again. We have been there a number of times.

Food was old, I wouldn't have served what they gave me to my dog, he looked at it awkward when I tried to give it to him. Will not come back.

I ordered $60 worth of food. When I pull up to the window, I ask if it’s too late to add a drink. The girl working the drive-through disregards me. Then turns to me and says oh, it’s too late. I already ran your card. I specifically asked for a family size gravy, and upon inspecting the bag I did not receive the gravy. I go inside with my receipt, asking for my gravy and I met with confrontation. I’m told they put the gravy in the bag. I responded and say no I just checked the bag it’s not there. Again, I’m argued with, and said that I was given the gravy. I told them I did not know what to tell them that I did not have the gravy. I’m asked to bring my bag back inside so they can inspect it. I go back out to my car to get my bag which I have emptied everything out ahead looking for said gravy. I put everything back in the bag and go inside. They did not even look in the bag. They just handed me the gravy, and didn’t say anything else to me. Not even an apology. Absolute terrible customer service, and we will not be back.

I got food poisoning from their wings and suffered through it for nearly four days. A friend of mine also got food poisoning from their tenders three days later. He’s violently sick right now. Service was just okay. Not bad but could’ve been better.

Went to popeyes today around 4pm. Went inside and ordered a 8pc family with mash and gallon sweet tea. Asked for fresh chicken. Waited 7 mins. I was disappointed to find no drumsticks and the chicken appeared to be over cooked or oil was old. It will be awhile before I go back.

This is the 3rd time I went to this Popeye's and they threw fries at the bottom of the bag. When asked to rectify the situation, they gave fresh fries in a container & a New bag, the first 2 times. Today's is the last straw, tolerating behavior instead of great customer service 😒

This store is hard to deal with anymore. The language gap at the register has completely screwed us out of a correct order for the third time this year. After having to explain to the girl at the counter no less than four times what I wanted, they still can't manage to put everything we pay for in the bag. What makes things even more frustrating is the employees have their children running all over the restaurant and were clearly distracted by trying to watch the kid and do their job simultaneously. In addition to this, it's painfully obvious that they're giving friends or family free food right in front of everyone. So, thanks for the high priced order that was incomplete, Popeye's. I guess next time I'll need to inventory the order prior to leaving the store.

Decided that after 2 long years of not eating take out.. for our late anniversary dinner. We decided to order here. The person who took our order at the drive thru was polite. When I got home and saw what we got.. it was terrible. Biscuits were hard and crunchy. The chicken pieces- 8 piece, was small pieces, were very hard, like they had fried them twice. One chicken breast, only had the bone that was covered in coating. Not spicy at all. The side orders, mac and cheese, red beans and rice, containers were half full. Bad food.. do not go there. Should have known, when I saw a whole line of cars at the chicken place next door.

Who owns this store, check all crew again. They are slow, no commination, no anything. After employee, even this comment is bigger. No again, if you want more money please come to your store and only watch them.

Was extremely dissatisfies with the size of the chicken pieces we received. Bought a 3 piece dark amd thr leg was 2.5 inches long as was the wing. The thigh was the smallest ive ever seen on a chicken. We also got the surf and turf box and the tenders were almost the zise of the shrimp in the box. Shrinkflation at its best i guess. Chicken tenders were very thin and small. Fries were stuck together in clumps and extremely greasy. Biscuit was inedible it was as hard as a rock. Now worth the money very disappointing. I hardly ever come here and I definitely don't think I will again. Came here on 7-10-25

Every time I get food at the drive-tru they forget items in my order or they get the completely wrong order.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE First time stopping at this location, i went through the drive through and ordered the family bundle, they forgot our 4 biscuits. half way driving home we noticed and had to drive all the way back. When we went inside they couldn’t even say sorry or anything they just read the receipt and handed us our biscuits they barely said a word to us …the least they could’ve done was say sorry about the mistake i’ve worked in the fast food business and their customer service sucks

Went though drive-thru and ordered 16 pc , mac and cheese, rice and beans and mashed potatoes with the gravy on side. Got the mashed potatoes with gravy on it. Took it back and ask for it to be corrected. Staff seemed so confused and took over 5 min to get it to me. Come to realize they also forgot our mac and cheese. By the time we got home to eat food was not hot anymore. Side note kitchen was not clean. Food and trash all over floor in kitchen area.

Terrible service. The cashier barely spoke english, I was given the wrong order, didn't even ask me what flavor sauce I wanted with my meal, biscuit was over cooked (if that's possible) and the #5 tenders were the skinniest most depressing stripes I've ever seen, got MAYBE an 1/8 of a cup of gravy with the mashed potatoes. There was a customer before me AND after me that the employees got wrong. DO NOT COME HERE!!!

I ordered DoorDash I got a 2 piece chicken combo with Mac and cheese and a dr pepper with an extra Dr Pepper and a side of mashed potatoes. The chicken is old and stale and dried out they only gave us 1 drink and the Mac and cheese was old as well as mashed potatoes no napkins nor plastic ware. I love Popeyes but this was not good at all!

So we walk in and order the smell inside is terrible. Like they are cleaning up after a dead body. It is 5:12 pm, and we have to leave the building because the manager chose now to paint! Absolutely ridiculous. Feel bad for the employees!

The cuban woman at the counter taking orders was extremely rude and unprofessional. She was disrespectful in her interaction with me and then went to the back and continued speaking about me in a way that was clearly audible to other customers. Additionally, she handled money and then prepared food without proper hand hygiene. Staff members were also using their phones while handling food, which is very unsanitary. Overall, the environment appeared disorganized, and it seemed that employees were not following basic professionalism or food safety standards.

Eating at Popeyes over the span of thirty year I have never had tenders and biscuits so dry. Went at 11:15 AM. Clearly held in bin from breakfast. The biscuit waa so hard and ice cold I had to wrap in a moist paper towel and microwave but still rock hard. This location has consistently gotten worae and worse. I will never patronize thwm again.

I don’t think I’ve ever left a review out of my own volition before. Tonight I will, the food was ABSOLUTELY pitiful. The Mac n cheese genuinely taste like it was made with dish water. (I’m not exaggerating) My wife’s beans are inedible. They forgot my blackened ranch, so I tried to eat the chicken tenders without sauce, lord was that a mistake. My biscuit taste like I got the last free biscuit at a Motel 6. (I don’t even think they serve breakfast) Do better, or close down. You wasted my meal, my Monday, and most of all, my time.

Sunday. 11:30 AM. Drawers that hold biscuits and tenders not working!!!! Live 3 miles away. Chicken was room temp at best. Biscuits couldn’t have actually been made today. Mashed potatoes were warm. Almost $30. Ick. They did not give us a receipt so there’s not much I can do now but write a review

Ordered: 10pc family meal, regular, all dark, with mac & cheese, and an additional large mashed potatoes. Simple, right? Received: cold white meat chicken, 1 spicy piece for some reason, mac & cheese that was mostly overcooked skin from the side of the warming tray, no mashed potatoes whatsoever, and an absurd amount of hot sauce packets I didn't ask for...

After working a 10 hour shift I decided to order my kids dinner through the app. Placed the order at 8:03pm they estimated 45 minutes although I stay 5 minutes down the street. Ok cool. My order “left the kitchen and with the driver at 8:35pm. It’s now 10:32 pm while I type this and still no food. I ordered the 10 piece family meal. Total was 37.46 with tip. Money immediately out of my account but still no food 2.5 hours later. No one NEVER Answers the phone. Go to support, you get automated BS of help. My 9 year fell asleep waiting on dinner. So yea I’m pissed, I will never patronize this company at any location again

I went to the Popeyes in Pflugerville. I had been craving those chicken dipper snacks all week. I took a detour to get out of traffic. I travel b/w Austin and Jarrell for both work and school. They gave me very old, rubbery, somewhat cold chicken. I had to get home and didn’t have time to turn back to complain. Totally disappointed after craving it all week long. Too bad. What a let down. (Side-note: I usually go to the Popeyes on Cameron Rd. I don’t care for this particular Popeyes dine-in experience as the restaurant isn’t that clean, but at least they always give me fresh hot food).

The customer service was good but the quality of food is inedible. The macaroni was burnt so much it looked like there was ground beef in it. The sandwich tasted like it was just breading but it was just old chicken that had been sitting forever and the Dr Pepper tasted like mold. The macaroni had to of been sitting in the warmer all day for it to be half brownish red. I thought the other order of macaroni was okay until I dug in it, it was also burned. Tried calling the number to get a resolution and it was disconnected. $27 for the meal.

There is a reason no one is in the drive through when canes is wrapped around their building twice. Could not drink ice tea, chlorine and mold taste. Chicken was dried out almost like jerky. Biscuits and shrimp were good, at least taste wise. Didn't stay in my stomach long tho. Take a look at the mac and cheese they sent me

Ordered a 3 piece white meat ( breast w/2 wings) instead got 3 very very dry breasts, could not eat but 1/2 of one, don't live in Georgetown, so didn't take it back.. Last chance I give this location..
