Always a Repeat destination with many friends from over the years. And if you've never been there and love places with lots of timeless decor, you absolutely have to take a trip to Legends. And go there hungry!
This place is awesome. A 50s like diner. Took my nephew to eat there. He had some big burger, that he said was very good. He gave his stamp of approval, lol. I had the machaca burrito, and it was ok. They put fresh beans in it, though they don't drain the juice out. So my burrito turned soggy will fast. Even though for my failed burrito, I would say go try this place out, just for the atmosphere.
Good food and great portions. I can always expect them to meet my cravings. Their fries are the best because they are seasoned and they are skimpy with the portions. They have just started charging .50 cent for each extra ranch or other dressing. But they still give you what you need with the meal. The drink cups seemed to have shrunk too. Still over all a good place for a quick bite.
The food was delicious. I had their avocado bacon cheeseburger. It was big, tasted great and was very filling. I also had their banana split. I loved the fact that they have chocolate, vanilla and strawberry ice cream for the banana splits. Their shakes are tasty and super thick. Prices are reasonable, about what you’d pay anywhere else and there employees are always pleasant.
Always enjoy ourselves every time we dine there, which is a few times per month. New best item is the banana pudding, reminds me of being a kid again. Best pastrami’s around, even better than that other place down the Route. Burger combos can’t be beat. All the salads are crisp and large portions served. Sometimes it’s hard to make up our minds, but the servers there are always extremely courteous, respectful and always very patient. Food is always served in about the amount of time that you would imagine, they don’t cook it till you order it, they don’t profess to be fast food but very tasty and enjoyable food. We have never had a regrettable visit, keep up the good work folks you have much to be proud of!!!
Always good food, fair prices. Honestly one of the only good burgers in and around town where you get a real 1/3 lb patty in your burgers, not those paper thin patties everyone else uses. Patty Melt is unmatched within 20 miles I'd say! If you are hungry and you dare get a patty melt
I was strolling up and down route 66 while I was working in this area and this was a nice drive-thru that wasn't generic and it also looked very interesting. The menu is a pretty cool greasy spoon with American and Mexican choices and it looked pretty good. I ordered the messy breakfast burrito because it had bacon, ham and sausage and I was not disappointed. The ham was good. The bacon was really good and they use good sausage too. The price is comparable to other diners and the quality was on the higher side of the spectrum. I would go back if I'm in the area.
I'm not sure how Legends has done it but, they were even better than I remember back in 2006-12. It's been a long time since I had them but they did not disappoint. They left my wife wanting a second taste before we left from vacation. The diner is still R66 themed, and lives up to their roots when they first established business nearly 2 decades ago. If you are looking for a classic diner atmosphere with diner quality food, Legends is a mist for those traveling from out of state!
Service was quick and food was prepared well.
Relaxing place with tasty food that is very fresh, big potions too, so come hungry.
Very neat diner. It's freaking huge. The dogs was pretty good. I got a sausage breakfast burrito and wasn't disappointed at all. They need another salsa bar on the other side of dining area. Walking all the way across the diner with your drink and cups of salsa was kind of awkward. But all in all great diner
Classic and yummy fast food diner fare. Lots of choices. Large portions. Prices are a bit high but that's reality these days. The chili cheese dog required a knife and fork which means they don't skimp on the chili and cheese. Definitely going back.
Food was great! Huge selection with all the classics. Service was very nice and fast! Atmosphere is one of a kind.
I absolutely love this place! The food is excellent with great service. I come by whenever I work with my family. I enjoy getting the cheeseburger and my family getting a big juicy burrito. You won't be disappointed with that burrito. The place is amazing and they even have a sundae bar so that'll be great for the summer. I love the decor they have its very retro and clean restrooms.
The employees are awesome with great customer service I love legends.
I was very pleased on our first visit here. The amount of food we got for what we paid was very value friendly. It's a great place to being you teen sons appetite and not break the bank! The food had great flavor and as my teen son said "The fries have a perfect seasoning to fry ratio!" Customer service was excellent and we got a high school student discount I did not know about❤️ The decor is very nostalgic and fun. They even have a working juke box with all classic rock and roll music in it. I highly recommend this place for a family outing 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 KUDOS
Really great place with great food. Many food options for each time of day. Service is quick and with great attitude, food is quickly served, it's good, and at a good size too. Fries are plentiful with good unique flavor. The theme is great to experience how an old vintage dinner used to be like, or to see history all across the dinner walls with a jukebox in the center! Outdoor area is great with many umbrellas for shade. Apart from the usual food service, they do events such as car shows every first Sunday of the month!
Top notch Americana Diner eating experience. Very spacious, tons of available parking, and lots of menu choices. Very affordable and an excellent staff.
Beautiful location, friendly service and delicious menu. Staff always greet you with a smile and prepare your order quickly. I love that there is plenty of parking and seating is not bunched up all together, so plenty of room in the dining area.
Excellent food at reasonable prices. I'm particularly fond of the chili cheese pastrami fries, but everything is excellent. I recommend anyone reading this to visit this hidden gem.
We ordered takeout for team lunch. Their chicken salad was the best. Huge portion, fresh and delicious.
Love Legends! Great family friendly place. Very extensive menu with lots to eat and great dessert menu as well. The amount of food served is shareable as well. Great atmosphere for everyone, nostalgic feel.
Good burgers and great crispy chicken salad.
First time coming to Legends Classic Diner, we were actually on our way to The Hat, which is up the street from Legends. When my wife said how about Legends, we always see it when we are in the area but never stopped. So we went and it was a great experience, friendly staff, great customer service. I really enjoyed the decor and old 50's vibe it has to the place. The food was amazing and the burgers were full of flavor, my wife and daughter both had burgers, I had the pastrami sandwich. The milkshakes are good they use real ice cream and not the artificial flavors. Overall, this is a great place to come and eat we would definitely go back there the next time we are in the area.
A bit pricey at around $17 per person depending on customization but worth every dollar. Fresh food made to order. Pastrami cheeseburger has Pastrami on top and bottom which is an excellent touch. Come here when you have time to eat slow and enjoy every bite whilst taking in the scene.
The food is made to order so can take awhile to come out but it's worth it. The 50's atmosphere is great and there's tons of memorabilia all over. The prices are decent for what you get.
Large servings and a great atmosphere, I usually share with someone.
Good burgers. Mushrooms and zucchini fries are a must. It would be awesome if they could offer fried green beans.
50s vibe the walls are festooned with memorabilia old license plates and pictures of famous people and places the food is above par the selection has things that there aren’t anywhere else fried mushrooms and different kinds of burgers only at legends
It was great experience. I had double chili, cheeseburger and chili cheese fries. It was very good and had their own flavor compare to others.
Went to the monthly car show at Legends in Glendora this past Friday (it’s held on the first Friday of every month from 4–7 PM) Such a great atmosphere! Everything was well planned out, and the car show itself was amazing. Afterward, my husband and I grabbed a bite to eat inside, and the food was delicious. 100% recommend the zucchini fries! Thanks for the great experience!
Really good food. My favorite food to eat here is their pastrami sandwich, followed by the patty melt. But decided to get there nachos supreme and I was so glad that I did! It was delicious and very filling. There was enough to share if I wasn't so hungry. Their menu is pretty diverse and even have a few breakfast items that are available all day. Large parking lot and the drive thru is easy to navigate even with a truck.
Cute styling, lots of effort when into all this detail. Nothing you would have found in a 50's diner but it gives you and your kids, a fun tongue in cheek feel that will leave you with a hugh smile on your face. Now the food. A friend that lives in Covina brought us here saying "you'll see. You'll see." We Did! We enjoyed every bit of the items we purchased. Sandwiches, burgers, fries, and shakes. Oh yes the shakes. Nice job guys.
Came here today with a large group to celebrate a friend's birthday. I absolutely love the decor here, the route 66 theme is a lot of fun and there are so many cool things to look at on the walls. This visit I had a grilled cheese with french fries and a soda, less than 10 bucks, so I thought that was a great deal!
My friend & i ordered the "mess burrito" & coffee. (Super delicious) We had just flown in from Midland & Austin, TX. A sweet retiree working at Ontario International Airport. Recommended legends classic. So we went & the gentleman working the register with a maroon shirt, very clean-cut, smiley & very sweet-courteous man helped us & I wish every restaurant had his customer service skills. Thank you to the gentleman working the register on Thursday the 5th of February around 1130am. Made our lunch very pleasant. Thank you Legends Classic we will be back.
This place was absolutely great. We will be stopping by again. P.S. The fried mushrooms are on god mode. A must do if you like them.
Think Moon Doggie hanging out with James Dean. You go to this restaurant for the experience and perks first. The food taste good good and is served in healthy portions at an affordable price and the service is friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is located just north of Walmart/ Costco at Lonehill (think Mtns north), under/through the 210 overpass. Take a left at the approaching Foothill traffic light and go under the overpass (it's on your right). It's right next door to the Social Security Administration. You can call and schedule a group gathering/meeting for 30+ people in a private section for free (according to date availability)! It's a fun place for the entire family. It has plenty of parking, a drive-thru and outdoor seating. It's a decades old Glendora gem.
Legends never disappoints. I moved away to the Sacramento area and while in town made it a point to come to Legends because it is that good! I love the Onion rings, burgers are on point super delicious! Fries are always seasoned to perfection! Customer service is excellent. The diner is always clean and inviting.
This café is a cozy and welcoming spot with quality coffee and a nice selection of pastries and snacks. It's a good place to relax, work, or catch up with friends. The staff is polite, and the service is generally fast, though seating can be limited during busy times. Pros: Great coffee and fresh pastries Warm, comfortable atmosphere Friendly staff and quick service Free Wi-Fi and charging outlets Cons: Gets crowded during peak hours Limited seating space Music can be a bit loud for working or reading
Great experience ✨️ Super friendly environment. The decor totally brings you back to the days just like a buger joint in "Happy Days". Such great delicious food and a variety at that. Loved the guacamole/ 🥑 burger 🍔. Great to gather with friends and family.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are so many pictures and art on the walls . We will have to come back to finish looking at them . Wife had a cheeseburger, I had a egg and cheese burrito . There's also a salsa bar. We shared a combo appetizer bowl (fries zucchini and fried mushrooms) hit the spot.
Hospitality was amazing, we were greeted by David at the cashier’s table. We came at night and he was kind enough to brew us a decaf coffee. Food was delicious, the restaurant is kept clean and nicely organized. The staff who works here is super friendly and with a genuine heart to serve.
Delicious food , Great Destination 👍 This place has a very extensive menu and you can not go wrong with anything. I love the burgers, the salads, it is like homemade. very fresh and loaded ingredients, dressings are excellent, lovely stuff were taking care of us, i got discount because i am a google local guide, and the 50’ music is just awesome. The desert is another story, u have to taste it by yourself.

They had this on the wall. It boosted the ambiance, and made me thankful for the bacon that I was eating.
Food is great. The atmosphere really cool nice Vibe. The Only complaint would be that the prices are a little too high. But I guess you get what you pay for.
Aye yo!!!!!! This place here!!!! Amazing, I loved the nostalgia as soon as you walk in the building! Great diner off of Route 66 so a lot of history here you feel me! parking lot is huge so eat in …
I love the decor. Had so much fun admiring the decorations and soaking in the 50s atmosphere. Hence the high rating despite the completely mediocre food. Burger was way too dry, fish taco tasteless. Only quesadillas pretty good although a bit salty. Go there for the classic Rt. 66 ambiance, not the food
Cute restaurant. Ordered breakfast burritos, and they are substantial but ordinary. The service was generic, with workers only interested in each others conversation. The decor is quite interesting with lots to look at and teach/talk about to a younger generation.
It's a great place for small groups. It's also good for just families. We usually order a large sampler (fries, onion rings, fried zucchini, fried mushrooms), which is enough for the four of us and then a burger. Overall a great family dining experience. 1. Portions are very large and satisfying. Though it may seem pricey, each order is large enough for two meals. 2. This is a diner atmosphere so don't expect much more than that. However, the vintage memorabilia add to the ambiance. 3. Staff have always been friendly and helpful. 4. Parking has never been a problem for me, but I haven't been there at peak hours.
This is maybe the kitschiest place I have ever been in! A warehouse- like space, but floor to ceiling with 50s-60s and Route 66 memorabilia. But to me, didn't seem to have a lot of soul. Total overload. Service was excellent. I had the grilled ham and cheese sandwich. OK, but not outstanding. If my friends bring me here again, I'll try something else.
Foods ok but the Atmosphere and decor are good
This is a large retro style diner with plenty of parking and a large, diverse menu. There is ample seating and lots to look at on the walls. Except for the cashier who took our order on a Sunday afternoon/evening, everything was great! The cashier is clearly tired of dealing with the public and sighed heavily when he thought I was about to ask a question and seemed irritated when I requested my burger be lettuce wrapped. In any case, the food was good, the ambience was nice, and the rest of the staff were great.
Fast service, friendly cashier, food arrived hot. The size and portions were bigger than I thought for what I paid for. Clean and well kept lobby area with a side area for private events. The decorations and theme all work together. Plenty of space and seating when I went on a Thursday afternoon around 6ish.
I recently visited Legends Diner with my dad, and we had a great experience overall. We went between lunch and dinner, so it wasn’t too busy. I ordered the chicken salad with fried mushrooms, and my dad had the fish and chips. The fries were definitely the highlight of the meal—probably the best fries I’ve ever tasted! My dad asked for them crispy, and they came out perfectly cooked, golden, and seasoned really well. The fish, on the other hand, was just okay. It tasted like it might have been pre-made and frozen rather than freshly battered, which is what I prefer. The chicken salad was pretty good, and I really appreciated that they offered feta cheese instead of the typical three-cheese blend. The pita bread on the side was a nice touch. The fried mushrooms were amazing—juicy, crispy, and perfect for dipping in ranch. The atmosphere is a blast from the past, with a fun 1950s-60s diner vibe. The jukebox was playing, though I wish the music had been a little louder to complete the nostalgic feel. It’s a family-friendly spot, and I’d definitely come back again—maybe to try something new on the menu! ⭐ Rating: 4/5 ✅ Best fries ever ✅ Great atmosphere ✅ Delicious fried mushrooms ❌ Fish could be fresher ❌ Music could be a bit louder Would I return? Absolutely!
Went on a Sunday drive on old Route 66 and stopped in Glendora at a diner that was geared around the past. It was a place to experience and see all the old throwback pictures and other things. The burger was good but no warning on how big it was until I got it. It was tasty but lacked some flavors. The chili cheese fries was delicious and it had the old hot dog chili on them and it was great over the top taste. I also got a half vanilla and half chocolate malt, why half and half? I love chocolate but I do not like overwhelmingly chocolate taste so it cuts it down. Was a nice place to stop once but will continue to look for other old diners on Rte 66. Some nice cars in the parking lot!!
The food is good. The prices are acceptable. They have a drive-through and a dine in. We like to sit in to see all the cool stuff they have inside. Plus my daughter likes to order dessert after food.

Love the photos on the walls I always see something different. The food was really good especially the chill or cheese fries ! And we did go early so it was ready pretty fast.

Was there to day had a hot dog fries and drink I guess I’m funny I want to put on my own condiments the fries were under done and noting I hate more than a handful of ketchup packets NOT a bottle Ok so I leave and had a vanilla malt well I’ve haddd c a lot of malts and this was not the best That’s all I have say I’ve never done this before but it need to be said
07/06/24 I tried Legends again and I must say, the chicken breast salad was great. Photo included Prior review: I've tried this place multiple times and never really enjoyed it. Tonight I went because it was a friend's birthday and their choice. It's a large, nice facility w a good outdoor dining area. The service is so so. I've found the food to be mediocre, nothing great, nothing I'd return for.
Just had a double burger, so dry! literally eating a spoon full of Peanut butter. Wow! water please. Tasteless meat, blandthe only thing that has flavor is the pickles. Normally you would see the meat just drip with juices, not here. Then we have the Chile cheese frys, $4.50 for the small and yes its small. Not too much chili, you literally must grab the frys and try to scrape the walls of the container in order to get some chili on them. This dry burgers killing me.
The food is good it definitely did not have much flavor.I had a cheeseburger with a coffee mocha as my drink and the coffee mocha was water downed and it is was not very good. The cheeseburger was ok, the restaurant has plenty of parking and the restaurant staff were friendly. I would recommend this restaurant only as a quick stop and not as a must visit.
The food is good, but the customer service in the drive-thru is consistently horrible. This happens all the time. The staff always seem rushed and don't let you finish talking when placing an ord…
Perfect example of why these employees shouldn’t and don’t deserve to get $20/hr, can’t even take a simple order, they don’t even know what on the menu. It took 2 confused women who couldn’t get a simple 2 burger combo order right; they asked all the wrong questions and still couldn’t take my order, when I ask for a hamburger, it doesn’t mean a cheeseburger, it’s a hamburger no cheese, no need to ask 3x when you can’t get the part where I asked for a combo right. What a waste of a drive from irwindale, and they have the audacity to tell me to calm down when they’ve already asked me the same question 4x and still don’t understand what I want. Completely useless employees. There’s plenty of other folks out there like the ones taking my order at Grand burger that can clearly understand the same order. So it’s definitely not a me thing and a poor hire from managements standpoint. Shame on you guys. Wasting my gas, my time, my stress, for a simple meal. Tell your employees to go learn the menu and learn how to take an order before they get behind that mic.
This is no diner, but a fast food restaurant. You order and pay at counter. Ketchup packets and wax cuos for dining in. $20 for chicken sandwich, fries, and a drink. The employees seemed annoyed there was a customer and there wasa drive-thru. You are basically paying for the atmosphere as the food was lousy.
Have been going there for ages but 19.99 for a club sandwich combo with fries and a drink? It was nothing spectacular either. Cute atmosphere to go once in a while but too pricy for regular dining.
I am a long time customer. Yesterday I ordered a mushroom avocado and egg burrito. There were no mushrooms, one slice of avocado, a tablespoon of scrambled egg and one of cheese. The rest was stale mushy rice and potatoes. It was inedible. I won't go back. Too bad . I used to really like it.
My fries tasted like they were double fried, and old they were very greasy and soggy my guacamole looked black My meat was dry cold old and rubbery It was supposed to be a nacho carne asada nacho fries were terrible and there was literally no cheese on it. There was nothing on it it was the worst nacho I Ever had to top it off the meat was so old and cold and hard and rubbery that sounds like the health department needs to be called very disappointing we payed like 70 dollars for pure disappointment what a way to lose a good customer sadly I won’t be returning the burritos were horrible too I Don’t Recommend this place Don’t waste your gasoline your time or your money totally NOT worth it
Nov. 28, 2025 Friday 4:10pm. Absolutely horrible Avocado & Mushroom Omelette. Horrible. Minced mushrooms, absolutely horrible. Who wants minced Mushrooms for a $12.00 burrito? 2-3 small bites of avocado for $12.00. Mainly lukewarm Hash Browns and lukewarm eggs with minced mushrooms. Awful. I can’t believe the owner thinks this is acceptable. Never again. Don’t do it people. You will be so disappointed. ☹️ It’s a lukewarm hash brown burrito. Awful, just awful. Back to LeTolteca and other restaurants. Never in 55 years have I had minched mushrooms with 2 small eggs, 3 small bites of avocado and a teaspoon of cheese in a tortilla, all lukewarm. A disgrace.
