Opinions de Five Guys San Dimas
This was the first time I had this and I LOVED it! I enjoyed the fresh home made taste! The cheeseburger was massive and all the ingredients were so fresh. Ooh and their fries, so yummy and not salty at all. I will be going back for sure and definitely recommending it to others!
Five Guys is an amazing place! You have a million combinations of toppings, their fries are out of this world and they even do hot dogs and BLTs! The only downside is the price. Typical meal is at least 15 bucks. However, it's worth every penny. I highly recommend these guys if you have a few dollars to spend.
I went in because I was craving a hot dog and it was the only place close by that was open. It was DELICIOUS and the employees were so super NICE! I will definitely be back!
Absolutely the best burger you can buy. We like it more than In N Out. Better fries than anywhere. Fresh cut and they give you a ton. A single small fry is more than enough for 2 people.
Best fast food burger I've ever had. The salt content felt significantly higher than most other fast food though. Skip the fries if you're not into thick cut fries
I wish I had taken pictures but the food didn’t last that long. We ate as soon as it was ready. Five Guys has yet to disappoint. It is consistently great burgers and fries. This location is especially awesome because of two employees who provided the best customer service - Clarissa and Ryan!!! We encountered an issue with the Apple Pay and while the manager or lead wasn’t very helpful or kind, Clarissa and Ryan treated us with so much respect and we were very grateful. We will definitely be back.
They have these cajun fries that are pretty good if you like spicy and salty things. When you order ask the cashier what's the secret topping for the week. You'll be very surprised at the answers you get weekly. Milkshakes are not bad but ask them to shake it 10 seconds longer. It will make it drinkable thru a straw. A little bit overpriced on many menu items.
I had a Five Guys burger in Ventura n am so happy that one has been opened so close to me. The burger was amazing.... The fries to die for. My grandson decided he wanted Pa eras mac n cheese but wound up eating my fries n part of burger. No where else (cept Original Tommys)has a burger tasted so good.
I feel these burger are more fresh and taste than a In n Out burger.
This Five Guys is absolutely awesome!! The whole staff is incredible, nothing but smiles and laughter from the moment I walked in. I'd recommend this spot to any and everyone who loves great food and even better service. I'm definitely becoming a regular here!
This Five Guys is the only one I have ever been to and I have to say that I was very satisfied. The food was prepared to our liking, the facilities were very well maintained, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. You would be doing yourself a disservice if you left without getting a shake., and a double patty burger is a MUST. I must say though the fries, while plentiful enough for 3-4 people, were under seasoned and somewhat soggy. But that is the only bad thing I have to say about Five Guys. And for what its worth, that is a very subjective, and often heated, debate.
Good bacon burger 🍔🍔🍔 Good fries. Friendly staff. Probably different opinions about if it's worth the price.
Friendly and welcoming environment. Overall experience of my last visit was great. While you wait for your order you can have peanut 😊
Easy to order. Friendly staff. Overall, pleasant experience. Lean bathrooms. Good food. Tables outside as well.
Prices weren't too bad considering the economy, service was excellent, they even made me a, "Secret Menu" item by request!
Nice and friendly staffs at Five Guys. This location is very clean.

The Cashier was super friendly and helpful. I loved the food, and I like the fact we can choose our toppings for the burger. I have tried their beef hot dogs as well and it is very delicious. I am not super fan of their fries since I like them very crunchy but Five guys fries is not all the way crunchy. Also, I love their free peanuts that we can try as we wait for our food. Their tables are always clean and ready to sit if you want to dine in. Overall good experience but it is a bit pricey. I got 2 cheeseburger and 2 drink and 1 fries (their portions are huge for fries and the regular fries is enough for 2 to 3 people) for $45.
Absolutely amazing experience every time I come. Food is delicious and the service is always beyond amazing! Kind and relaxed workers are always helpful! Specifically today, Paul was very kind in taking my order and just having a nice conversation! Worth every penny!
Really great burgers and hotdogs. Thr fries are my favorite out of all the burger chains. I love the free peanuts. My only complaint is the price. Five guys is expensive
We had a great speedy meal here. The burgers were delicious and the fries were plenty. The gentleman that took our order was super friendly and helpful as we had kids and he helped us select some of our order. We will return!

A wonderful 5G. I really only order the fries from here, which are the best vs the other fast food joints. This 5G is better than others. The staff know me (recognize me by my mask). They prep my order exactly the way I want it (it's a bit complicated). There are two really good G 5G, this is one, and the one on Tustin is the other.
Food is good but way overpriced. Those high prices do keep the number of customers down. I honestly prefer In N Out but due to their lower prices, the line is always long. I go to Five Guys if I want a shorter wait time.
Five Guys Burger claims to be the cheapest and best burger in town, however, they don't combo or value meal anything. So... getting a burger, fries and drink can easily add up quickly. I spent $17 for a burger, fries and a drink! I think, the burgers are too greasy. The bacon double cheeseburger, double burger, slightly seasoned peanut oil fried fries and milkshakes are high sellers. I haven't tried a milkshake yet. I want to try the salted caramel milkshake, but for me... It's a meal in itself. I probably rather eat. I heart the complimentary roasted peanuts as you wait for your order. Friendly service, rock music overhead and it's a popular growing food chain. What's not to like?
This was my first time eating at Five Guys. This outlet in San Dimas is a smaller store in the strip mall next to Costco. Burger is better than average and they let you customize toppings at your will. The small burger is a quarter pounder and quite filling if you loaded up on toppings. The fries were made from great potatoes from Idaho. They are cut a bit thicker than competitors and they fry them in peanut oil likely covered with starch to make them slightly crispy. The shake was definitely good. Main issue would be the price since they are charging prices for burgers at full service diners. ~$20 per order. This is double the price of fast food competition. There is plenty of parking at this location. Service and facilities are good and clean, respectively.

Our burgers were great, as all things customized tend to be, But they keep changing the cajun fries recipe to detriment. Today they hardly have any seasoning (they typically are dark brown in color with seasoning). Staff were great, everything is clean!
Pretty good burgers with an INSANE amount of fries and im not complaining. Will say though that while it is a really good burger, for the price point I feel like it's a bit much. Five guys has its own distinct flavor that is neck and neck with In n Outs own food but with its pricing being close to over double it's competitor. Overall, really good burgers and fries that is a must try. Make sure to clarify what toppings you want on your burgers since if you don't they will just give you a plain Cheeseburger
Been wanting to try a burger from 5 Guys for a while. The place is very clean and thr service was great. They have a pretty good sized menu with burger, hot dogs, fries, and shakes. I opted for a traditional burger with bacon and "All the way" toppings with small Cajon fries and a drink. The burger was pretty tasty and tall despite being a little smaller on the roundness as I was expecting. The fries were good and generous in portion but had way too much of the seasoning which some might prefer. Although my meal was pretty good, I had a hard time justifying paying $15 for a burger, fries, and a drink. Glad I at least gave it a shot. Will have to try one of their hot dogs and shakes next time.
Patty seem a bit dry. Still pretty good

Went to dinner here on Friday. The fries were great, always are. The hamburger quality, however, has gone down. One thing we noticed was the loud music. When we ordered cashier had a hard time hearing us and we had a hard time hearing him. So it was not surprising they got our order wrong. This has happened before, thus the three stars. Lowering the volume will increase customer satisfaction.
Lives up to the hype of being crazy expensive. Also, unfortunately, pretty good. Employees not very welcoming. Veggie sandwich seemed like a good deal but only compared to the other prices, it's like 6 more dollars to add meat. Was not expecting a mountain of fries either! Overall good food, just if it was ⅓ cheaper. 😊
Holy cow this place is expensive. My first time to 5 guys. Cheeseburger was awesome and the fries are to die for, so fresh. But the Cheeseburger was about $12. That's nuts. Cheese burger and fries was about $20. They do fill the fries well and top off with another cup. I woukd come back here again only for the fries. I can even say I love the fries more than McDonald's. Just not its price. Oh there are unlimited free peanuts and they were actually very good. It was dead when I was there around 11ish.

CRAZY EXPENSIVE NOW. Haven't been here in about 2 months and thought hey been a while let's go grab a hotdog and a cheese burger here. Two months ago the price of a bacon cheeseburger was about 9.80 something which is already pushing it for expensive while fries were about 2-3 dollars for 1 serving. Came in today and my choice of a bacon cheeseburger and some little fries would have been about $15-16 for 1 person... Gotta be kidding me. Not even In-n-out is that expensive and it tastes much better. Keep in mind the 11.49 price for the bacon cheeseburger isn't a combo and doesn't include fries. Not to mention it's quite a small bun compared to an In-n-out cheeseburger... Everything is an absolute rip. So much that even the workers themselves told me how much it's driving business away simply because of the price increments. I've tasted gourmet burgers that are cheaper and better. As far as taste goes? The only "unique" thing here is the fact they fry everything in peanut oil...helps in flavor but only so much. Still don't understand how that warrants a $10+ price tag either way. Definitely NOT coming back ever. I don't care how much their costs are. A $15-25 dollar price tag for an individual meal for a FAST FOOD restaurant is way overcost.
We decided to try their food since so many tell us how good their food is. I can honestly say, this was the most bland, tasteless burger I've ever eaten. There was nothing special about it at all. My 2 year old who eats just about anything didn't even want the grilled cheese that we ordered. They get 2 stars because at least the shakes were okay. Overall, I would not recommend this place. It is way overpriced for low quality, mediocre food.
Not so friendly service, not bad... just not the super friendly service you normally get from a Five Guys. Fries were under cooked and I didn't get the usual 'fill the bag with extra fries'. For those that frequent Five Guys, you know what I'm talking about. The burger was good, however, I think Five Guys in general is getting too expensive. $20 for a burger, fries and a drink is getting out of hand.
Been a while since I've been to this location. Only ordered Large Fries to go and they gave me what was the equivalent of regular fries as I remember. I ask if they were sure it was a large order, they said yes. Inflation hit this place hard. Five Guys might have one more chance, but not here at this branch.
Disappointing Restaurant Style Burgers For a burger just under $9 it was disappointing. $9 burger doesn't include drink, fries, or cheese. Got the double bacon burger with the "All The Way" option which includes grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, and other pickings. The patties are quite big here but they lack flavor and mine were a bit dried out. Also, the burger was hard to keep together while eating it and ended up eating a lot of my toppings separately. For a better tasting burger and much better value, hop over to In N Out and get a Number 1 (double double with cheese, a drink, and fries) slap some grilled onions on it and have yourself a bomb meal for $7
the burger was not cooked well it was sort of raw in some parts, really expensive $10 for one burger not including fries or drink. fries are good. might not go back other places are cheaper
Pricey, but my burger was very good. Not going back though because the machine asks you for a tip up front, so they know before they make your food if you tipped or not. Hope they didn't spit on it.
The burger was just ok, the fries tasted like burnt popcorn, and were super dark brown, they were also stale. I won’t come back, especially for the money I wasted.

This restaurant is located closer to the metro tracks in the plaza with Costco. It faces Costco closest to Gladstone. The people are welcoming. But, the service was poor in that at first taste (grilled onions, mushrooms, etc. were added as requested and paid for but without requested mayo) due to not having condiment. Once the sandwich was cut in half, it turned out the extra toppings had all shifted to one side. It left the impression nothing had been added. Be mindful, check every detail of your order even if there is a line.

Decided to stop by to get a burger and fries. Little did I know that I would have to wait half an hour for just a burger and order of fries. I saw people come in after me and order a ton of food. I knew they ordered of ton of food because they ordered after me and left with their before I got my food. I’d like to say the overpriced burger and order of fries was worth the wait but that was definitely not the case. If I’m in the mood for a burger and wait I’ll go down the street to in-n-out, at least their service is inviting and delicious.
Definitely not worth the cost. I was going expecting so much and I ended up extremely disappointed. The food is okay but kind of bland I was expecting more flavor and bigger portions. I think in n out is way better...they have more flavor and better costs. Why go to five guys and get an almost $9 burger when you can go to in n out and get a burger, fries, and a drink for less than that? I think five guys is way overrated and I will probably never go back. So yeah decide for yourself but this is what I think.
Had a real disappointing experience at this location. My son took me here based on his experience elsewhere. He noticed that the portions were quite smaller compared to others he had been to. I called and left a complaint regarding our experience at this particular location and never heard back from anyone. Food is extremely expensive and portions quite small for cost of a meal. If they can,t call or write back to even find out why you are complaining they don,t care about your business just your money then don,t bother their are sooooo many burger joints to go why waste time and money here.
Family was in town and we went there for our first visit ever. Manager must have been having a really bad night because he looked like he wanted to hurt someone. We weren't pleased at all. Wish the food was better to make up for the terrible customer service (manager only, the other employees were very nice, but looked afraid of the manager). I later wrote a complaint to Five Guys and they never responded. Well, one lost customer for life. Too bad.
Customer service was excellent here but the hamburger I ordered wasn't fully cooked. For an $8.99 hamburger I expect more for my buck. So being a burger that wasn't fully cooked and doesn't even include fries or drink, not worth it.
This place has gone down to the dump. I ordered a hamburger from here and was so disgusted by the time I left I didn’t even eat it. Reason being the cashier was pretending the temperature probe was a sword immaturely poking his co worker and touching every surface with it and right before they wrapped my burger he placed it in my hamburger to check the temperature. I almost puked but I didn’t want to be rude and demand a refund so I just got it and left, throwing it right in the trash once I got home. I haven’t visited a 5 guys in a while and the prices are ridiculous $10 for a little cheeseburger is outrageous for this place. The quality is not even close to what is use to be so that doesn’t explain the dramatic price increase. I should have walked out when I saw the place empty with no customers.
Not too good. In my very first visit, I paid $15.85 for dinner with a sack of cheeseburger & fries, and soda. Your order is delivered by a brown paper bag! Big mistake of coming here because I can get the same dinner at half that price at In N Out Burger which is less than one mile away from this location. I don't plan on coming back to Five Guys. Sad.

Worst burger I've had in a while, dry, tasteless, and the damn credit card machine automatically tipped $6.50 (I didn't make any selection at the tip portion and just tapped my credit card) and didn't notice until after we left. Fries were decent and plentiful, but my kid refused to eat her burger and wife got a stomach ache. Definitely would NOT recommend!
