The burger is amazing! I cannot get enough of this place. I went once last week and had to go back three days later. Their cocktail menu is superb. An added plus is their bartender, Russ, he is super knowledgeable and friendly (plus he is easy on the eyes 👀). Try the Old Fashioned and you will not be sorry. I also recommend the garlic aioli to dip your fries in. 😋😋😋 I couldn't stay away and I went back for yet another visit. Their winter cocktail menu is simply put, delicious!!!! Try their carrot cake- you won't be disappointed

Came here off of a recommendation from a friend and was pleasantly surprised. Its a lovely spot with attentive servers and fabulous food. I had the lamb 😋 recommend a glass of grenache with it to compliment the richness of the dish and had the whipped ricotta for an app also delicious in a simply but pleasant way. Will be back thanks for the night out.

Stopped into Julep on a Sunday since a lot of places nearby were closed, and we were really glad we did. The menu looked great for sharing, and the vibe felt like our speed. The restaurant area was pretty quiet, but the bar was full and lively. Super comfortable seating, and the space has a cool modern-meets-vintage bar feel that works really well for a hotel bar. We had martinis, beer, and a holiday specialty cocktail, all solid. Huge shoutout to Russ, the bartender, who gave excellent recommendations and clearly knows the menu inside and out. We shared the fried green tomatoes (crispy and delicious) and the baked wings, which were really good and a nice change from the usual fried option. Even though there was only one bartender and one server, service never felt slow. Russ was attentive, welcoming, and made sure we felt taken care of despite how busy the bar was. Prices were very reasonable, the space was clean and well decorated, and the overall experience was great. Would definitely come back.

The owner was super kind and let us in even though we didn't have a reservation. We didn't know there was one and we were out of town for business. Super amazing guy and awesome food. Very beautiful ambience! 😎🙌

This place absolutely hits the spot! The burgers are juicy, packed with flavor, and cooked to perfection. And the pizzas? Straight fire — crispy crust, delicious toppings, and seriously addictive. Great vibe, great food, and definitely a go-to spot when you're craving something amazing. Highly recommend! Ask for Rachel...🤩

I dined at Julep last month and it truly was one of the best dining experiences I have had in awhile. The food that comes out of Julep’s kitchen is equally delicious and beautiful. Julep’s cocktail menu was just as inventive as the food menu — my favorite cocktail was the “Spicy Night”, Julep’s take on a watermelon jalapeño margarita. Will definitely be back ASAP!

Beautiful restaurant! Waited maybe ten minutes for drinks, twenty for apps and within thirty minutes we had our entrees. We were really happy with our food and surprised by the negative reviews. Fried green tomatoes were crispy, birria pizza was really good, and the steak frites came with a mountain of really good fries. We ordered mid rare, maybe it was cooked a little under but not much. Really happy we came!

Absolutely phenomenal!!!! As a chef/cook in the Marines, this was the best meal I've had in a very long time. Ladies and gentlemen! This is a recommendation of a lifetime! Try everything! Semper Fidelis.

What a wonderful surprise having this gem of a restaurant in the hotel. The cuisine is amazing and the Ketel One drinks are even better. The team has been so accommodating and professional. Brittany, Matt, Maria and others have made our time here enjoyable beyond my expectations. Kudos to the kitchen as well. Best eats in all of Greenville.

There's a very limited food menu here but everything offered is exotic and interesting. The drink & wine menu is extensive. It's a beautiful place with great service.

I didn't expect to find such a flavorful and unique dining experience nestled inside a Hilton hotel. On the first night, I had the pimento burger, which came with their home-cut fries, which I couldn't stop eating. They are worth the calories and carbs. It was a healthy portion and was so fresh. The second night I ordered a pizza. While both options may seem mundane, they prepared each dish with their twist and fresh independents. Oh, and add a cocktail! They are different and help elevate the meal.

Best food I've ever eaten 😋 The pizzas are amazing 👏 last night we got a margarita and a veggie pizza

I visited Julep today for lunch, and it was lovely. This restaurant is beautiful; It provides the perfect atmosphere for a date night, dinner with the girls, or a business lunch, but even my little one was warmly welcomed with some crayons and a kid’s menu! Our server indicated she was fairly new, but she provided great service. She had a warm demeanor and was attentive. Our meals were outstanding (we ordered a pizza and the meatloaf). The cocktails here are true, craft cocktails; Taste and presentation were perfection. I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in Greenville!

Julep hosted my mother's 70 birthday party and provided excellent service for my party of 32 people with ease. Our event coordinator, Lisa, helped plan the event and offered exceptional service. The pricing was as discussed, and she ensured all our requests were met. During the event, Sarah and Ariel ensured the room was set up to our taste, the projector was functional, and the buffet was delicious. They worked hard to ensure our requests were met. Now the food, Lord, and Behold! Hats off to Justin and others involved with preparing the food and dessert. What a delicious spread. The NC Fish, BBQ Roasted Chicken, creamed corn, mashed potatoes, and red velvet cupcake were so on point. Overall, my mother enjoyed herself, and we appreciate the time and effort put into making this a success. Please prepare for more bookings from my family. Just a nugget: the drive from Durham to Greenville to have my mother's event was worth it. Thank you!! Dr. Twan Weaver

I have been so excited to give Julep a try, so when the opportunity for a moms night out came up that was the only place in mind! The food was absolutely incredible, and the atmosphere makes you forget this isn’t a stand-alone restaurant. The seasonal menu exudes creativity as I learned through the burger I ordered. I never knew pears belonged on burgers, but that burger is a core memory for me! The best part of the night was our server. Jasmine took such incredible care of me and my friends, suggesting menu items and remaining attentive to us throughout our entire night. At the end when asked if she could take our picture, she found us a cute spot, rearranging chairs and angles for the perfect shot. ❤️ This mom left refreshed from delicious food but also an incredible server. Will most certainly be back!

Julep is my go to for incredible food, great service and friendly faces! We have dined there several times and never leave disappointed. The food and menu is always amazing and very unique dishes. Chef Luke creates spectacular dishes that taste as amazing as they sound. The atmosphere is such a vibe and stays true to the name Julep. We adore the staff also. Hands down our favorite local restaurant!

Just had one of the best meals I've ever had at Julep, their food is always incredible as are the cocktails, we were treated to their berry lavender cheesecake and it was perfect. It's difficult to not have lavender over power a dish but they nailed it. Go for brunch or dinner get the margherita pizza to share you cant go wrong. For fine dinning in Greenville you're hard pressed to find better and at a price point that comes in under similar restaurants around town.

Amazing breakfast and service. The breakfast outstanding buffet crispy bacon soft scrambled eggs and perfect sausages. The girls were amazing and so helpful. Rachel, Ashley, and Jamie 12/10 for the food and the amazing hospitality. Thank you so much xxx

Beautiful dining area. The bartenders were knowledgeable, friendly and knew how to make a great Manhattan. I ate here 4 times during a 3 day stay and enjoyed ever single meal.

Julep is one of those restaurants that has a certain atmosphere to it. A lovely, warm and welcoming atmosphere. The wait staff were friendly and professional. The Owner/Chef Luke has a great way of balancing Chef/Business. You can tell by talking with him that his passion is for food first and business second. Which is a perfect pairing for a successful restaurant. I ordered the Shrimp Po'boy per the Chefs recommendation. It was filled to the brim with lightly fried shrimp and topped with a delicious kimchi. Overall great experience with tasty food and nice staff!

I will update with pictures another time, but I work as a bartender for another hotel and I take pride in my hotel and bar with Vegas lounge. That being said OMG this is way better than I expected! The bar might be small, but everything else is super large and spacious 10/10 for customer service from Brittney. We normally dress to the nines everywhere we go, but today we looked our worst and just wanted to stop by for a bit she still treated us with kindness! Which proves for others please don’t judge a book by its cover it might look small or bad but woah can it prove you wrong. 💕 we will be back again.

The double smash burger with half wedge for a side was incredible and a great bang for buck. $22 for a gourmet burger and amazing wedge salad?!? My Jimmy John’s sub cost $14 the other day…. Service was also phenomenal… Emily and Jess were GREAT and made phenomenal cocktails!!!

Love love love Julep! The food was amazing, and I was so impressed by the complexity and juxtaposition of flavors in every dish! Wonderful cocktails and the service was next level. Our server never let our waters run out and explained each dish to us. I will definitely be back!!

Absolutely wonderful food, drinks and service. Country ham and cheddar biscuit was amazing (grabbed 2 to go), the pork chop was cooked perfectly and the flavors just worked so well together. The spaetzle was the best vegetarian dish either of us have ever had. Were so intrigued by the pizza of the moment that we took it back to our room and it was fantastic. The black pepper crust was out of this world. Do yourself a favor and give this awesome place a try!

Only stopped by the bar a few time while there for a motorcycle event and the 2 bartenders were awesome! They made every drink perfect and had great personalities! Didn't try the food but their service alone deserves 5 stars. Thanks for everything girls.

Every cocktail we tried was remarkably delicious & served in a different style glass. The attention to detail made the the experience that much better. We loved eating boiled peanuts at the bar with our fancy drinks. & don't leave without getting a Sunday slice of Peppermint Cake. The cream to cake ratios were perfect & the unexpected saltiness with a sweet dessert was lovely. A perfect spot for an intimate date or fun for a group as well.

The staff remembered me the second time I came back and were super attentive to me and the food was amazing ! Would definitely recommend coming in. The bartenders (Jacob & Amanda)were great and the server Thea was super helpful in walking me through the menu. Jess on the first night at the bar was fantastic!! Will always come to this bar when in greenville

My group and I were in town for a get together last weekend, and my wife and I are still discussing our experience and how great the food/service was. I felt the need to come back and leave a review. Our party was given a private room, and hosted by the wonderful Josie "G." She specified this, and said or "Josie with the red hair" because there were two Josies employed there. Fantastic service. Argumentably the best waitress my wife and I have ever witnessed on a floor, especially handling our complicated group. The food was above par. From the Peeled Shrimp and Cicillian Pizza, down to the Pork Shoulder, Wedge Salads, and Steak. We even had a few PB pies for dessert. The kids table was raving about the smash burgers they had. All in all I give the experience a 20/10 and we will definately be back. Thank you Josie and Julep Kitchen.

Had such a great experience at Julep!! The atmosphere is fabulous, the staff is incredible, and the service truly stood out. Our bartender, Russ, was attentive, efficient, and incredibly patient with my unique food and drink restrictions. He also handled a disruptive patron really well… firm, but calm, and respectful, which made the whole experience even better. When the chef, Johnathan, was alerted to my allergies, he came out to reassure me that my meal would be prepared carefully and properly. That level of care and attention meant so much and made me feel completely comfortable dining there. Argentina added so much to the night with her hilarious, outgoing personality and quick attention to anything we needed. You can tell the staff genuinely enjoys what they do. Can’t wait to go back!

I really enjoy each time I am able to enjoy a meal here. Sometimes, hotel restaurants are amazing, and other times they miss the mark. We have had nothing but exceptional service, delicious food, and the occasional live music. The more that we champion the amazing dining experiences that Greenville has to offer rather than making the drive out of town for food, the more amazing dining experiences we will have to choose from!

I stopped by this spot almost every day during my conference in Greenville—and for good reason. Travis and the team absolutely know their craft. The drinks were next-level, especially the Birds In Paradise, which I’ve officially declared my go-to summer drink. Had dinner here a few times too and everything was fantastic. Great people, great vibe, and great food—what more could you ask for? This place and its sister restaurant, Native Fine Diner, are must-visits if you're in town.

Delicious dishes and cocktails. For brunch we enjoyed a specialty punch with a gentle and pleasant rosemary infusion. The fried green tomatoes had a crunchy crust enveloping the juicy and flavorful tomatoes. The Eggs Benedict were exceptional and served on homemade English muffins. The vegetable hash complemented the eggs. Our server was professional, helpful, friendly. I look forward to returning when next in Greenville.

That Keith Lee video, damn. Had an omelette, it was greasy. Those biscuits were fire. Were they worth driving 40 miles in another direction fire? You decide. Staff was nice, beautiful hotel.

I loved the The Valentine's Day menu idea, but I wish there had been at least one other entree option on the special menu. Reasonably priced for the full course meal. The Little Sweet Biscuits are heavenly!! My favorite item.

We love the decor of the restaurant classy, beautiful calm colors for the decor with a nice layout to choose wherever you want to sit. The atmosphere of folks is layed back. You will see high class business men, down to casual dressed customers eating (Hotel guest). The staff was extremely friendly. Nice prompt greeting! She let us read over a menu(first time here) then let us pick our seating area. We felt very comfortable here. We choose our table and the waitress took our order. Each dish came out in enough time to finish and not feel like we were being rushed in-between dishes. Our waitress could of been on top of things alittle faster as far as seeing our drinks were empty, I hate having to ask for another drink, especially when I tip well. The Berry Biscuits were outstanding, moist, great flavor! My friend had tried the Veggie Burger, that was poor,, no flavor, dry, and they put some kind of gritty paste on the bottom of the burger, the waitress had no clue what it was. I had tried the Margherita pizza it was made with mozzarella, red sauce & basil, it was really good. Great flavor, it was made perfect! The other bad things-we had a wobbly table, my glass cup of water had a chip, I could of cup my lip on it, I told showed my waitresses, neither of them took the glass and threw it out, they left it on our table. The prices match the presentation of food and quality! Try it out.

Today my husband and I tried Julep Contemporary Kitchen. Overall, the experience was just okay. The appetizers were good, but the main course that my husband tried was disappointing. The ribs and grits wasn’t acceptable the meat had way too much sauce, and he could barely taste the meat. On the positive side, the chicken with sweet corn was good, and we enjoyed the mocktail. However, nothing really was special, so we left feeling underwhelmed. I hoped it would be as good as I imagined, but it wasn’t…! Atmosphere ✅ 10/10 Service ✅ 10/10 Food 6/10

Julep was a *nice* place to be inside. You definitely get the feeling it's a "fancy" restaurant. There wasn't much wait, seating arrangements for us were a nice distance from others. Tables are arranged in a manner you won't have to worry about feeling crowded. Unfortunately some of the two person tables are so close having any sort of intimate conversation is out of the question, but I'm sure Julep would be accommodating if you'd rather wait for a more isolated area. Food presentation was great, execution left a bit to be desired: 1. Ordered a medium rare steak and received medium at best, well done on a far end. It was a ribeye, but an average cut. Seasoning and mushroom demi were above average for sure. 2. Hushpuppy side order was both over and under cooked, too high of heat and too large of a puppy left the exterior too dark and interior too wet. 3. Deviled eggs looked good but were under seasoned. Dill on top, nice touch though! 4. Roast chicken overall pretty good! 5. Mixed drinks were also good. The TV at the bar showing sports is really out of place there. Live music was tasteful and not too loud, positive marks there, but that could change one artist to the next. Had to get my own water refills. Ticket was $135ish for two, not including tip. I'd love to go back to give them another chance but that's a real thinker given the price and simple technical mistakes made on our food.

It’s a Hotel restaurant, decent at best. Ordered the Steak Frites, fries were soggy, but at least tasted like actual potatoes. Steak was completely unsalted, but good that it was not overcooked. Service was great!

G
Grace Gallagher

Went for brunch and we were the only ones in the entire restaurant yet the service was still mid. No refills and forgot an order of friends which is fine but was just shocked since we were the only other table. $22 for a chicken Cesar salad that is only strips of lettuce, dressing and a tiny bit of chicken. A bit overpriced in my opinion.

T
Tynarsha Wilkins

Went there last night and the drinks were good. But 4 people in my group order the smash burger and all the burgers looked and tasted burnt. Was so disappointed because I heard a lot of good things about the burgers. I might try it one more time before taking it off my list. They might of had a different chief or a bad night.

Extremely disappointed in our experience here. Would honestly give no stars if I could. Found this place in 2021 (different name and quality then) and my family and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Remembering the food, service, and ambience from the previous dinner, I was excited to return. Understanding it was a “southern style” restaurant, I specifically told them I have a pork allergy. The dish I ordered had pork in it, yet it was NOT mentioned in the description on menu nor did the waiter mention anything while ordering. When I saw the bits of pork in the dish, I inquired about it and the staff was unapologetic and unhelpful. I ordered a different, vegetarian dish (to be on the safe side) and unfortunately the food was just not tasty, certainly not the same chef and/or menu as before (2021). Two of my other friends ordered their steaks rare and med rare. Both steaks were made very well done (at best). There was no offer to correct their errors and our waiter even seemed irritated that we brought up our concerns (the allergy, over cooked steaks). To top things off, they charged us an “unboxing fee” after THEY offered us an additional plate for the birthday cake we brought with us, without mentioning any associated “fees” beforehand. Given what our dinner party spent, this was an absolutely terrible experience at this place. We will not return, nor recommend that any of our network patronize this place until there is new management, staff, and chef.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. The service is terrible. No one comes to take your order. The horrible drinks. My wife came up to tell the girl to take our order and a red-haired lady with tattoos on her arms told her partner something, on two occasions, as if despising my wife's attitude. A rude one. She should never work there, because they make clients not want to return. I don't recommend it at all. On top of that, when they bring the bill, they ask you for a tip for the bad service. Do not go! It's the worst bar I've ever been to.

The $17 dollar pizza was over cooked, luke warm, and tastes like cardboard. I’ve had better pizzas from the freezer at Walmart. The pineapple upside-down cake appeared to be a slice of pineapple on a old breakfast muffin with sauce drizzled on top. I didn’t attempt to eat the salad. With the additional fees hotels charge and an additional tip, the cost was more than $65.00. The menu didn’t have a lot of options but apparently I chose the wrong one. I expect to pay more at a hotel, especially a Hilton, but with the limited menu and unsavory food, I don’t see how this resturant will survive.

Breakfast - wasn't sure if it was buffet, seat yourself, what....apparently it is order by menu and/or buffet. two staff were nearby. They didn't acknowledge me while I waited for a table so I sat myself. They didn't acknowledge me (3 other tables total) after I sat down. After 5 to 10 minutes I went to hotel desk, where wait staff was now standing. They told me to have a seat and they would be with me... very rude. I started to walk to my room but turned around since I need my AM coffee. They still never came to my table. I got food at the buffet which someone else pointed out to me. I got my own coffee. The new waitress brought me my check. She told me no rush. I said it was great to finally be acknowledged. She said "ma'am, you are rude, you should have waited like we told you to at the front desk (of the hotel lobby, not restaurant), it is my first day you are rude, you don't want me to send my coworker over. Ma'am, we are very busy, it is a buffet, you could seat yourself and help yourself." I told her it was my first day here too, I didn't know if it was a buffet or what. No one told me. There aren't signs, the buffet is tucked into a little nook. She kept talking to me. She kept interrupting me waving her hands while I am seated. She was maybe 18 inches fron my face waving her hands and would not shut up. I asked her for her name and she told me it doesn't matter. I asked her to leave me alone... she kept saying "ma'am you are rude" All I wanted was a cup of coffee. I don't know how their dinner staff is, but this was atrocious. I took my breakfast and coffee and went to my room. edited: the owner/manager called me this morning after this and was very apologetic. The way that she handed the situation would draw me to try to restaurant again.

I sat at the bar to order a quick dinner. Got the steak and a coke. 38$ 6 inch “stake” asked for medium rare, got medium at best then the bartender ignored me after taking my order and I sat with no drink for the rest of my meal. The meal was not great. The service was not great, the 43$ bill was not great. Do yourself a favor, leave the hotel and just enjoy Greenville.

B
Bernice B

I would give them a zero if I could. Worst customer service on the planet. Waited 40 minutes for someone to take our order. Went to ask the hostess to take our order. Was told to go to the bar to place our order. After the second time going to the bar I was given a very rude response and a nasty look. That person should not be taking care of customers if she has an attitude. Took my business to a very reputable restaurant. Ninos. I highly recommend. At least they appreciated high paying customers.
