I was wrong. I judged this place. I figured the food would be good, but it would also be overpriced and the service would be horrible. One out of 3 and I was pleased. The food was good, prices were reasonable and the service was good. The parking lot is a little compacted so parking can be challenging but it's worth it. 🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔

One of the best burger joints in LA county. The beef actually tastes like beef, unlike some other unnamed places. The B&R burger is 1/3 pound, the King is 1/2 pound, and the double King must be only for hungry teens. Toppings are freshly cut. The fries are medium thickness and are especially good with their chile pepper & salt topping. Not sure about other menu items because I never make it past the above :-).

The best homemade burgers and fresh cut french fries. Eat the fries while they're hot. Looking forward to my next visit. A little slow but remember you're getting FRESH food. Call in your order to cut down your wait time.

This is an old school family owned burger spot. The food outshines the esthetics. Great Customer Service but honestly the burgers are so good none of that matters. I guarantee you're going back regardless. I love that they stick to the classic way & not drawn in to the Couture methods often pushed by SM cooks. I ordered the Turkey Burger & sm Turkey chili fries. Both dee-lish and portion size will put you to sleep. I'm excited to try other menu items. They have options for Vegetarians, those who do not eat beef and quite a few add ones to customize your burger. Enjoy!

I go eat here a lot and they never let me down then it don't matter how long you have to wait it's worth it the money is worth spending up here because they got good food it reminds me of Grandma's burgers when they was homemade and thick patties in the freeze is to die for in the house drink is to die for is going to set the tone you won't be disappointed by going there.

You can put this at the top of neighborhood burger spots around the city. Nicely seasoned king cheese burger, without being too salty. Fries were on point fresh cut and cooked well, not soggy . Location is fine there is only a counter to order, so don't look for this to be the Ritz Carlton .

I've been going there for years.......one of the best burger spots around. It's hard to find a spot with good onion rings....B&R have the best...everything they make is great. If you haven't tried their chicken wings...you're in for a treat. Our first time at B&R's. The cheese burgers with everything on them were the best tasting burgers we have had at any burger place around!!!! I had the B&R burger with bacon and cheese and fries. The burger was thick and pretty damn juicy. Iwould give the burger a solid 8.5. The fries are cut on site. They were perfectly done. They are definitely a step above your typical fries. Also a solid 8.5. It has the feel of a meal slightly above your average but not quite a gourmet. Order online before you get there if you are in a hurry.

When I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the cashier, who was incredibly patient as I placed my order since it was my first time visiting this establishment. The food was absolutely delicious, and the customer service was exceptional. I ordered the chili cheese fries with pastrami and a beef hot link, cooked to perfection in an old-school style, along with a refreshing strawberry lemonade. The flavors brought back beautiful memories. What truly stood out was the kindness of the gentleman who took my order. This is Burger excellence at its finest. I waited a little bit for my online order, but it was well worth it. There was a good crowd of customers. The size of the patty is impressive, and its condiments were on point.

Yong man at the register had great customer service . We had the Turkey burgers 🍔 very well seasoned and the fries are real potatoes!! It was a long wait but worth it ! The lemonade fruit punch mix was great as well. We will be back soon !!!

We were here visiting from Texas and our local family suggested B & R Burgers. They did not disappoint. I ordered the cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. Others had the turkey burger and regular fries. Everybody was full and satisfied. The burgers were juicy, flavorful and hot. The food is prepared fresh. There is no place to sit down. You have to order to go.

Food is good. My favorite is Turkey Tacos. You have to ask for them to be either crunchy or cooked (the shells). They may try to slide non cooked shells. The cashier are cool as hell! May make you laugh, but the ladies are good folks. The lemonade mixed with fruit punch is 🔥.. Turkey burgers and salmon burgers hit 🎯. Fries are good. And the breakfast combos go hard. Overall it's a good place with variety. I support them 💯💯💯. 4 stars for atmosphere cause IYKYK... But I never felt unsafe.

I absolutely love coming here every morning for their breakfast. I always get a #4 chicken sausage preferably over turkey bacon. Anyways,there's a wonderfully spirited young lady in the front everyone calls "Dredre" there. She's our favorite person there. She is extremely nice, dedicated to fulfilling your order requests, always positive and will actually bring your food to your car. They didn't even do that before she came. She makes the restaurant feel like I'm at home and me and my wife love her energy and her east coast accent as well.

The turkey bacon BLT was delicious. I haven't been to B& R Burger in years but it still is good.

Food is pretty decent. Its fresh and they take credit card, cash, debit, ebt food stamps, pesos, whatever!! Tap in if you want a quick burger but dont want jack n the crack or Mc death. The burger is huge and seasoned well. The pastrami is good. The Cajun fries were a bit cold, but I live far away. Other than that they weren't overly seasoned, which I liked.

I'm disappointed with the Turkey burger special. The burger is getting smaller & the prices are higher. This burger used to be huge. I would need two hands to hold it. I know it's not a double or king burger, but this looks like a junior burger for the amount of money I paid, I expect the portion to be worth it. My 7 yr could finish this.

It's a place in the neighborhood where I work. I wanted a burger. The burger was decent. The girl at the counter was not cordial or patient with first time customers. The onion rings were too greasy. I won't go back. The burger didn't have flavor.

Ordered through DoorDash pickup, its about 30 minute wait, but food was hot when I picked it up. Burgers were good, fries tasted better fresh, they were sort of soggy by the time I got home. I also didn't get my onion rings. Food was sort of greasy. Parking was really tight.

1st time here. Parking lot is shared with other businesses. I ordered 3 burgers and 3 fries and it came to $70. Ready in 20 mins. No ketchup in bag. Sides, bacon and eggs are extra prices. Food smelled great. I asked for no pickles on one burger, but pickles were on it, yuck. My burger was a double. My burger was not well done at all. Pink seen throughout each patty and i was not happy. Overall taste was great. Fries seasoned well. I will be back but ill tell them next time well done on my burger. There is no inside eating. Only waiting area, 3 or 4 chairs

This was my first visit, and I ordered the King burger, which I found to be quite satisfactory. The meat-to-bread ratio was excellent, given the burger's size. They also offer a double King, which I could manage, though it might be excessive for my typical appetite. I also ordered the fries, which were generally good, although the high volume of customers resulted in slightly cool fries upon delivery. While I imagine they are exceptional when served fresh, the cooler temperature diminished their appeal. It is worth noting that they are made with fresh-cut potatoes. Finally, the strawberry lemonade was enjoyable but excessively sweet—what one might term "diabetic sweet," implying a potential for overconsumption. Went here for lunch today based on a recommendation from The LA Try Guy, Alex Cottrell. I got the B&R Burger and Cajun Fries. The food is made fresh to order and it came out hot. The burger and fries were well seasoned and flavorful. The B&R Burger actually reminded me of a good ole homemade hamburger, just like the way my mom used to make for my brother, sister, and I. The single patty on the B&R burger was nice and thick and I personally and highly recommend it for the $7 price. Two patties would have been a bit too much for my stomach lol. I definitely will be going back.

Ambiance: Carry out vibes for sure, not much to the eye, just a counter and space to wait. There are no seats for dining in, so you can't eat there. Service: I've been a couple of times, and it's really a grab bag of personalities there, sometimes they're really patient, other times not so much. Overall, I've never had a terrible experience. Food: Again, I've been a few times... I've loved it the first few times, but now it's just ok. I usually get the same thing... burger/fries/turkey tacos. They used to be my favorite. Now, I only get them when I'm that way. Decent prices for a decent meal. It's reliable, at the very least. Parking is tight, and the lots are not that big, so be prepared to maneuver.

Feedback: On 10/21/23 at 7:56:20 PM, I purchased a turkey burger & cajun fries. Great value; great taste! However, the entrance/exit doorway is disgustedly filthy... it diminished my desire to return. When I mentioned this filthy condition to the female Spanish/English interpreter at the counter, she agreed and was indifferent to my complaint. Suggestion: Have an employee scrub the area or hire a steam cleaning company to do the job. The filthy entrance is not a healthy look for this Black-owned restaurant!!

First off, they got my order wrong. No cheese should be the simplest direction. Second, the fries were soggy and too much seasoning guys. The prices were ok. I recommend Mommas Burger or Hawkins for the better "soul" burger. I will give them another try but not soon.

I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and received the regular chicken sandwich, maybe the chef didn't see the order correctly, which is whatever. The flavor of the food wasn't good. The sandwich tasted cool to the touch and didn't have much to offer in regards to overall taste. I ordered the spicy fires which did come with flavor but we're also cool to the touch and seemed to have left out for several minutes before the food was served. The food was lackluster, and the price for this meal with no drink was $14.68 which can NOT be justified. The overall experience was not good. Maybe the staff was off but I wouldn't consider going back at all. Also, when I asked for ketchup because they handed 2 packets in the original order, the young lady gave me a dirty look like she was mad, again this is why I said before maybe they are having a terrible day.

don’t think this is worth the money and I was uncomfortable with there was no price on the website for the featured item. When I picked up my order the young man referred to my receipt asking if the preparer put the onions on, and once it was fixed and I saw him crumble the receipt, but it looked like he placed it in my bag. When I got home and discovered it was missing and I was disappointed at the difference in value for the price I added all the items to try to determine what the item should cost and I got$3.99 for chili cheese fries $1.39 for the pastrami and 1.49 for turkey chili (for good measure) and I got $6.87 plus tax $7 and some change not $9 and whatever the change is. I was disturbed at the discrepancy and I’m on the fence about continuing business with them.

They made me put at least one star. No stars from me. This is the 3rd time I went this establishment and I had to sit in wait for a phone order for 40 minutes. The employees attitudes is very distasteful. It wasn't like this a year ago. I'm done. Take a risk if you want to.

Horrible experience had a shirt over my mouth because I forgot my mask sista in the cashier was very uneducated stating she wanted me to wear a mask because she felt I was going to get staff sick. Must I say there is only 3 people max behind the counter she went in to try and sell me a mask for a dollar. I felt racially profile because one of the brothers in the back was not wearing his mask over his mouth. I’ve been coming here for 10 yrs and I promise it will be the last time I will come. all I was doing was picking up and order that was place over the phone. Whether I want to wear a mask or any cloth over my mouth it’s my personal choice sign clearly states to wear a face covering. I used to come here a lot but I stopped due to the lack of customer service. I wanted a burger today so I thought why not go to B & R and give them another try. I was placed on hold for 10 minutes on the phone, the guy seemed nice and repeated my order back to me. I finally go inside to pay for my order and my aunts burger was missing bacon, I also asked him for a combo which I did not receive, I just received two burgers and a drink. I then told him I wanted a combo over the phone and he explained that he didn’t hear me. Why should I have to pay extra for something that wasn’t even my mistake? He just looked like he didn’t even care, when you speak directly to him he acts like he can’t even hear, no apology or nothing. Customer Service will forever be B & R’s downfall. They need to hire new people. Terrible.

I’ve been a loyal customer of B&R since the early to mid 90s and have supported this business for decades. Until recently, I never had a single issue with food quality. That changed with my last two visits. Both times, my tacos were served ice cold, clearly not fresh. The first time, I gave the benefit of the doubt. Today, I did not. I specifically asked for extra crispy shells to ensure the food would be cooked fresh and hot. I placed my order at 6:50 pm, was told it would be ready in 15 minutes, arrived at 7:12 pm, and my payment was processed at 7:14 pm. Despite this, the cook insisted my food had been sitting for 30 minutes, which is flat out false based on the timeline. Instead of remaking the order properly, they recooked the shells and handed the tacos back lukewarm. The food was still not fresh and clearly had already been sitting. I was hungry, hadn’t eaten all day, and left frustrated with a meal I couldn’t enjoy. I ate a couple of tacos and threw the rest away (mind u i ordered 10). Serving cold, old food and then trying to deny it is unacceptable. Beyond the frustration, I’m now left hoping I don’t get food poisoning, which is something no customer should ever have to worry about. Something is seriously wrong in that kitchen, and management needs to address it immediately. After decades of loyalty, these past 2 experiences was enough to make me not want to return. Fix the kitchen and train these people to handle people's food properly, or find someonewho can do the job right. It's tacos for damn sakes! My God!

My 70 year old mother was mistreated at this location. She waited over an hour for her food and was made fun of because she was wearing a Kaftan and a head wrap. She only received her food because a gentleman with home training spoke up on her behalf. After noticing that people were getting there food before her and she was just patiently waiting. Never again will me or anyone I'm affiliated with support this establishment.

I placed an online order. When I arrived there was a young lady with a short haircut at the counter (photo added with review). I didn’t get greeted, she just stared at me like something was on my face. I said “hello I placed an online order” she then asks for my ID & card used to purchase. I said I have a picture, and she just continued to stare at me. So I just showed her my ID on my phone and tried to hand her my card . She just walks away while my hand is out. Then she says I just need your last four digits of your card. I then gave her my last 4 card number. She just walks away to the back and doesn’t come back for maybe 4-5 minutes. She never said my order wasn’t ready and to wait or anything. She just walked off. I waited 50 minutes for a 2 burgers and one fry . Just for my burger to be burnt and cripsy(photo included) . Her customer service skills are HORRIBLE. And I will NOT be back unless you guys get better employees. She is NOT a good look. Fabulous Burgers across the street will always be my go to!

$20 for a double B&R burger with chili and cheese. Apparently I needed to specify TWO slices of cheese for a double cheese burger ……. Becuhs it only came with ONE. They were stingy with the chili which was disappointing becuhs their chili is bomb. Haven’t been here in years… my fries were fresh.. but for the amount of money you spend it’s no room for error. I won’t be back

The burger was juicy and seemed like good quality beef. So, good taste. But lacked seasoning. Obviously salt. But seemed like not even pepper was added. The fries were god awful. All oil, no potato. See for yourself. They taste how they look.
