We only got ice cream but it was quick, delicious, and served with a smile. The server was extremely friendly and the facility was clean. Bathroom was clean as well.

I just love Braum's. Their burgers are freaking awesome. The crinkle fries are delicious. Talk about variety when it comes to desserts. They have all kinds of yummy ice cream. Too bad there not one in my home town of Austin.

Wow!! Ice cream tastes so much better than Dairy Queen and any other ice cream shops I’ve been to. For what we ordered here for $5 we would have paid over $15 at other places. Too bad there isn’t a Braum’s in San Antonio!

Braums is a classic and a fantastic value. Where else can you get a bag of burgers, or a combo that comes with a shake? The fries are hot and crispy. Love it. Note that this is the southernmost location, given the current geographic constraints of Braums distribution network.

As far as fast food goes, Braums is always one of my favorite road trip stops. Good burgers, fries, ice creams and sherbert! This one has good service as well.

This stop is a MUST on any road trip, just don't be in a hurry. Their food is made fresh and their ice cream is DELICIOUS - so the ones are LONG. They have individual ice cream you can get on the spot or you can buy it by the gallon.

We ordered a shake, a malt and a pup cup. Ours were DELICIOUS, and our pups said theirs was delicious too! 😊

Idk if y'all know this, but you can buy a "square" of your favorite flavor! This is the huge box that they scoop out of for individual servings. It weighs about 15lbs and I think it's 5 gallons. Get your Braum's on ♥️

Everyone here is so freaking nice. Paul not only made me the best sundae ever, but he did so with extreme care, even after I took ages to make up my mind. The older lady working in the market was also such a sweetheart. When I thanked her for grabbing us a bag, she said the wisest thing: "We have to take care of each other." We don't have Braum's where I live (which is the biggest disappointment) so we always try to stop by on our way through town. After this visit, I certainly look forward to our next. Until then: - Paul, keep being awesome. That sort of kindness takes you places. - Sweet market lady, thanks for taking care of us.

We didn't know what to expect but it was a nice experience. Not only did they have ice cream, but you could also have a burger if you wanted to. They even had what seemed to be a small grocery section.

We have to drive 45 minutes to get to this place, but it’s well worth it! The soft serve yogurt twist in the waffle cone is my favorite. Their burgers are also amazing. The staff is always smiling and helpful.

Braum's in general is an awesome fast food chain and market, but this particular store in Hillsboro is one of my favorites. The restaurant and market are both clean and well organized. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is extremely delicious and the ice cream is just awesome. I also highly recommend their milk, eggs, and sausage from their market. It has a uniquely delicious flavor. I haven't tried everything their market has, but I'm working on it. If your in Hillsboro, TX or even close by, I would suggest that you make the drive to this Braum's. You won't regret it.

2022-06 Braum’s is pretty great in general, but this the most southern location in all of the Midwest, is one of the better ones. Plenty of helpful staff to handle the Saturday 3pm crowds. The store was clean and well stocked. Limited groceries are inexpensive. Great tasting ice cream for cones Sundays and shakes/malts. The burgers and fries are not special but still pretty nice. All in all, rather a must stop if you are a Braum’s fan headed South.

Braums is always a hit! Some of the best ice cream ever! Great flavors you can't get anywhere else like German Chocolate a personal favorite must have ever trip and the Cherrylimeaide is second to none. They also have a very good breakfast burrito, 😮!

Braum's is always fantastic. Their bacon cheeseburger is amazing. Overall, it's an exceptional value. You can get a burger, fries and a my shake (sub for the drink) you want for $7 or less. Hell of a deal. Great service and great food. Highly recommend.

Restaurant was busy but my food, a burger, was properly cooked and served promptly. The store was clean and the staff professional in their interaction with me and others that I observed.

I was so excited to eat my brownie fudge Sunday, that I completely forgot to take a picture of it! The brownie was the perfect density, still allowing the ice cream to melt into it, not too sweet, without icing, but not cakey. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned. My son ordered a plain and dry cheeseburger, and he swears Braum's is his favorite burger place. A convenient location right off the freeway with plenty of parking and some extra long booth benches for families to sit together.

Stopped by for a late lunch (2:30pm) on a Wednesday afternoon and the line was five deep. Not sure if people were local or taking a break from I-35, but definately running a good business.

We don't go to Braum's often but it is always a pleasant stop in our travels. They are always busy when we are there, the food is good and even other customers are friendly.

Great reasonably priced food. Love this place. Stop there every time we go through Hillsborough. Just wish they had one in San Antonio TX.

How can you not love Braums? It is a required stop, and the ice cream is incredibly good. Take a cooler with you so you can enjoy it at home too. They have a lunch and dinner menu, although we have only had the ice cream. Families are welcome here and it makes a great outing. It would be a great place for a birthday party.

Enjoyed a burger combo and peppermint ice cream on our way home yesterday. All the employees were exceptional, especially Ashtom. I watched this young man busily just doing his thing. Us older folks are often alert to the cleanliness and orderliness of an establishment. I was pleasantly surprised to watch Ashton doing his best to keep the tables and seats clean, and obviously paying close attention to how the restaurant and retail space were presented. Stopped at Braum’s for lunch during a road trip and it was a solid choice. The burger and fries were fresh and satisfying, but the real highlight was dessert. I ordered a double-decker waffle cone with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup on the bottom and Pistachio Almond on top—one of my all-time favorites. The ice cream was excellent, as always, and made the stop well worth it.

We've passed by here a million times and not stopped. We took the chance today, and we will definitely stop here more often on the way to the DFW area. Not only was the food excellent, but the service was fast, efficient, and friendly. For $65 we fed a family of two adult and two teenagers AND got everyone ice cream. The ice cream was above average on top of being affordable. I had the sundae, and the brownie was soft with a great amount of fudge on top. Very happy. Will come here again.

The burger was delicious and made exactly to how i ordered it and the ice cream was just as good. They offer a few dairy groceries and several flavored ice cream in a tub. Will definitely be returning soon

The ice cream is always fantastic! It is frozen harder it seems and the cakes in the fancy sundaes don’t get soggy. I have never had the regular food here but they are always busy.

Good burgers delivered fast are great for traveling. There isn't a lot of seating but they cleaned the tables very promptly. Their ice cream is fabulous! The Cookie Monster is the best thing on the planet!

It was a little crowded and the tables weren't super clean, but the staff was friendly and definitely working hard!! Not enough people working to handle the volume of customers! We were lucky to get a table for sure!! Great banana split!

Sometimes it seems so overwhelming when you walk in and it's packed. But I will say we had zero isses. We all had burger combos and they were delicious! The ice cream was too. I also loved the fact that this location was so clean. No trash overflow at all, given it was packed it was nice.

The butter pecan shake was good and a large size for 5 dollars! That’s a steal especially for the size compared to other large sizes which are just mediums and the burger and fries were very good and fresh

I stopped at Braum's every down San Marcus TX. Buy 7 limeades. At that time only 4 tables with patrons sitting there. Then came alot patrons. I waited over 35 minutes, they had difficulty getting the flavor correct. Still didn't! Staff gave me some simple to take with me. Once I got my child's, tried to fix the problem finally tastee! The staff manager was great disappointed this visit but will keep stopping for limeades.

Was traveling through Hillsborough Tx, my sister said she'd never eaten at a Braums. She really enjoyed the burger and fries. I had bacon cheeseburger. Live the taste, it's so unique. Krinkle fries are the best. Lots if great ice cream selections. You have to eat here if you haven't.

Delicious 😋 ice cream. We stopped by this classic ice cream shop on our way back home on I 35. It was so nostalgic of a simpler time in life where you could just be with family ❤️ and enjoy amazing peppermint ice cream in a waffle 🧇 cone. They have fast food also and a little grocery store inside. If you ever are driving through this area I would definitely recommend stopping by and treating yourself to a nice big 🍨🍦 ice cream treat. It's a very family/ kid friendly environment as well.

Tried the Miami Burger at Braum’s and it did not disappoint. The flavor was fresh, the seasoning was on point, and the ingredients tasted high-quality. Braums has an amazing ice cream and shake/malt selection. They also serve some hot food and have a small grocery for fresh produce and some dry goods. I got a double scoop turtle and a single scoop strawberry shortcake. Friday nights after football are going to be a bit of a wait for service. Overall, 4 stars for Braums!

This is my first time to a braum's. I really enjoy it. The atmosphere and giant wall mural of the foods are incredible. The cool little scene in neon lights over on the back of the store side is very interesting. The food is awesome, there is a special braums sauce they put on there that makes their burgers stand out from anyone else's. I did four stars instead of five because in terms of cost and the size of what you get they are about normal. So not the super incredible value my wife remembers from stopping here during high school and college, but still good. Four and a half for a single patty, $7 with tax for a triple cheeseburger, each one patty is a quarter pound. We also got some ice cream, because of course how can you not. We got the banana fudge, which is a double dip fancy Sundae, which is $4 plus tax. That is a great value. I think this will be another regular stop for us as we're passing through town.

This one was a hot mess when we went. Hopefully it was just an off day, but they forgot to give us half of our food, utensils, and napkins in the drive thru.

Ice cream is good but the Aloha burger doesn't have any flavor even with a pineapple in it. They need to have a special sauce in it.

Mediocre experience. We spent a total of 40 minutes waiting in line to order and wait for our food. All we ordered were 2 burgers, 2 fries, and 2 shakes and it literally took them 40 minutes inside. Shouldn’t the people inside the restaurant get priority? On top of that, the had cooked fries setting on the counter for like 10 minutes so by the time they got to the customer they were cold. Our fries were cold, they didn’t even bother to have a heat lamp on. The burger was also somehow cold too and the cheese wasn’t melted. This is literally the worst experience I’ve had at a Braum’s, I don’t know why it’s gotten so many positive reviews. The new worker was really friendly though, she was complaining because the other workers were pressing the buttons for her and not just letting her find it by giving her hints. I don’t think that doing something for someone will let them learn how to do it. She was also the only one wearing a mask so I do appreciate that. My other complaint is that they don’t change their gloves.

The food was good but the service was lacking. The are very slow and half the staff didn't seem to know what to do. The have 3 separate lines so if you want food and ice cream you have to go to 2 different registers. Then to buy groceries there is another register. A little frustrating.

Don't get me wrong, I understand it is off the freeway so I get that they are usually busy, however this is our 2nd time going 1st time was back in November when my parents first moved here. Same experience as tonight. This time went in at about 8:15pm on a Monday in March for ice cream. There was a couple in front of us when we walked in and a lady behind us. Everyone else were sitting eating their food. Not busy at all. The customer service is awful! One girl was trying to be friendly but seems like she is new and was struggling a little which is totally fine but the other one who helped us was so rude. Very much a "hurry up and get out of here" attitude as well as the other 5 or 6 employees that would look at us and not help us for the 5 minutes prior to us actually getting service. Maybe it is just the evening crew that hates being there but I dont understand how so many reviews are giving 5 stars for friendly service.

Normally they have a warm and friendly service. Not so around 9 P.M. out of nine visible employees, two were busy making something the others had their backs turned to the counter and ignored everybody. Stood there a good five minutes before I was acknowledged. Last three times I have stopped there seems like is going down hill. They still have very good ice cream at a very reasonable price. Just now have to think twice to stop due to the treatment. What good is it to have so many employees if they don't understand that when they stand around, they are representing Braum's, like they say in many places, if you have time to lean on a counter, you have time to clean.

Not the best Braum’s customer service and definitely not accommodating. Burger okay but cashier didn’t know how to sub out American cheese for Swiss on the register and the “manager” she asked said they can’t put Swiss on any other burger but the Miami. Who knows. Place was a bit dirty.

Now I know why I should have only came for the ice cream...my fries were too salty and I had them replaced the manager acted as if he really didn't want to replace them but I was glad he did and my chicken tenders weren't fresh at all.. I drove like 30 min to eat...wish it was better the ice cream was okay...

I don't know what happened to their ice cream. It used to be amazing. However today, I got 2 scoops of cookies n cream in a waffle cone & it tasted like straight up faded glory brand. Threw one scoop out on i35. Color wasn't even right. It's like they ran out of blue bell and threw stale dolla gentral oreo cookies into the faded glory vanilla. So disappointing.

I don't know why people keep saying the burgers are good here. My burger had so much salt on it, I could barely eat it. I can't judge the ice cream because I've not eaten ice cream in years. I'll just say the ice cream was pretty good. Overall, nothing huge about this place. Over spent my money and I don't think it's worth my time. I probably won't be back. P.S. they've got a "special sauce made from ketchup, mustard, and pickle juice". I tried to get them to put it on the side... They forgot to do that and put it on the burger. Fries were fresh, burgers were exceptionally good this day. My problem is the ice cream side. I get that you're backed up on banana splits. What you don't do is have FOUR employees making splits while there's a growing line of customers waiting and waiting for cups and cones and shakes. The people ordering a dozen splits or however many, already know the banana split takes some time. I didn't even get the cone I wanted because it would have easily taken 20 minutes longer than I had already waited and I had to get back on the road. There's no reason to have FOUR employees with their backs to the customers for that long.

smells, dirty tables, employees have a they don't want to be here attitude. Must be a very low morale place to work. They were busy when we went, service speed was ok, just not kept up, they may have been shorthanded.

Waited in line 10 minutes to be helped. Asked for a small rocky road milkshake and medium cherry chocolate chip malt. Reconfirmed the order 4 times with the employee who couldn’t grasp it. Was told they were out of malt powder after paying. The medium was the wrong flavor. Asked them to remake it. Took 15 minutes to be remade - wrong flavor again. Left.

Went to Bram’s in Hillsboro place or order then go to dive through window and was given chicken tenders which was not my order then they take it back and I saw them take it back and after they gave me my order for a cheeseburger with no mustard and no mayonnaise. Guess what we were pulling away and they gave that chicken tenders to the car behind me. Then I get home and I find mustard on my burger. I call and I’m told they will make another burger but I live a ways out. Please don’t let this happen to you.

This morning was a terrible experience because my dad and I went through the drive-thru ask for the two big country breakfast with gravy. We drove away we look in the bag there was no gravy, no napkins, tiny amount of egg, the little potato were we couldn't eat them they were very charred crunchy the sausages look like they scraped the grill and brought all the black stuff. It's been our go-to for breakfast but no more.

Person taking my order couldn’t get it entered correctly. Checked her phone while taking my order, then asked for the 3rd time what it was. I repeated it again and in total told her no less than 7 times what I wanted on my cheeseburger. At one point there were 4 other people trying to help her. With 5 employees trying to get it right they still couldn’t. When we got our food it was terrible. Someone must have dumped an entire salt container on our cheeseburgers. They were aweful! I asked for the manager twice while ordering and never was the manager asked to come over. 0/10 stars. Do not reccomend!

Braum’s loves to advertise themselves as “your family gathering place” and the perfect “road-trip stop”. So imagine my shock when we finally pulled in after 40 minutes of stand-still Thanksgiving traffic… and discovered they don’t have A SINGLE changing table. Not one. In a place that markets itself as a family friendly fast food joint. How do you brand yourself as the family-friendly, road-trip-friendly, everyone-stop-in-together place — and then completely ignore the basic needs of parents traveling with babies? You cater to everyone else’s needs but infants? It’s honestly mind-blowing. The bathrooms were disgusting which is still a problem, sure, but the real issue is that even if they were spotless, they’re still completely useless for anyone with a child who needs a diaper change. A “family” establishment with zero accommodations for families is wild. If you're going to hang your whole identity on being a road-trip staple and a family gathering spot, maybe start by installing ONE changing table. Just one. It’s 2025 — this should not be an optional feature. Do better, Braum’s. Families actually notice. Children deserve better.

Food was decent as was the desert. My issue came when the girl who was making the ice cream orders cashed out the customer before me, with her vinyl gloves on, handling money, then walked over to take my order. In addition she had a young man helping her whom was wearing gloves and walking around with a dirty rag cleaning things. He set the rag down and came over to help make food. I told them both they needed to change their gloves before they touched anything and explained to them how cross-contamination causes illness. They seemed to understand and said they didn't know this blah blah blah. Well 10 minutes later as I'm finishing up my dessert with my husband I look over and that girl is at the main register checking somebody out of the grocery area with gloves on, again and then walks over to the food area and starts making food with those same gloves on, again. What was so funny is they had a good inspection award or some garbage up on the counter, that's comical. I've been in the medical field a long time and taught Sanitation not to mention have sat through recurrent training on it more times than I can remember. I think I will skip this place in the future since management apparently doesn't know how to train their staff on food handling safety. I was so frustrated I wasn't even going to bother talking to the management because they clearly didn't care because they were watching all of this happen. I just wanted to leave at that point. Hopefully someone higher up sees this review and cares enough about not making their customers sick and does some remedial training for their employees.
