I love the polish sausage, it's freaking amazing. I'll buy a pound of it and take it home as the main for dinner. Pulled pork is also amazing. Brisket is good, get it earlier in the day. Ribs are 50/50, I only get them right after store opens, otherwise ive found them dry.
Great food, good service and kids eat free on Sundays! Finish off your meal with a free soft serve ice cream. I love this place.
I buy food here occasionally for my family. It's definitely something everyone loves. My daughter is pretty picky and she absolutely devours food from here. I don't know anyone that doesn't like good slow roasted meat and theirs is great.
The meat was delicious and not slathered In sauce because they have it on the side. I had ribs and pulled pork. The ribs were absolutely amazing and the pulled pork was tender and juicy. For being in a strip mall they Shure know how to smoke some meat! The sides we're pretty good and they have free ice cream if you're feeling up to it. 10/10 would eat again.
Good food fair price. Staff is really nice as well. Try the "Onion Wrsnglers" they are like thing yet crispy onion rings, yet they aren't soaked or taste like fryer grease like onion rings normally tend to. I had the brisket, it was not dry as many people cook it

If you've had southern style barbeque whether from Texas, Tennessee, NOLA, SC, etc. then you're going to be hard pressed finding great bbq up here in the PNW. Dickey's is good enough to barely scratch that itch, and it's probably the best around for the time and price tbh. Get the meats, eat it, enjoy. Simple life for quick time and affordable price, especially in this economy.
I was having a rough Memorial Day, but just met one amazing worker here at Dickey’s! Shante was super friendly and made my experience here worth writing about! She treats customers very well, and provided solid customer service with a smile. Thank you!
Excellent experience! Staff were super friendly and patient as soon as we walked in, helping us figure out what we wanted. Prices are good - got 2 full meals for $15 total. I thought they only had huge portions but you can order small ones at smaller prices!
Visited this location on Monday 1/10/22. Was surprised that no one was there. Was greeted by a very pleasant "employee", who turned out to be the owner. Not use to going to a food chain, being ran by the owner. He was very interactive and explaining to us, the many different options available with the coupon we had. Despite the lack of staffing shortage, our order was completed in a very timely matter.
I ordered delivery today although I was extremely disappointed with the unprofessional behavior of the Grubhub driver who sent me a shocking text message, right after placing my order. Dixie at Dickey’s was very understanding and empathetic about the situation and even replaced my food that I received cold & was missing some of my order. I really appreciate her being so kind. I will not be using Grubhub ever again but I will definitely return to Dickey’s. The warm food was wonderful.
First of all, very consistent in quality food and service! The best of both of any place I've seen in a long time! Their BBQ Brisket and BBQ Chicken breast is really tender!!! Their baked beans, Cole slaw AND their waffle fries are to die for!!! We've been there 4 times in the last year and have never been disappointed!!! You can always count on them to be very friendly and FAST!!!
I have ordered from them 2x through door dash now and each time I am so so pleased. Their food is so delicious! Even after it being delivered! I haven’t gone in to eat so I can’t honestly comment on the in person experience but as far as their food goes I have enjoyed it very very much. Everything I’ve had has been flavorful and moist and tender and just done right. The the brisket, ribs, kielbasa, baked potato casserole, fried okra and their baked beans are incredible! And I’m someone who doesn’t usually enjoy BBQ. You won’t be disappointed! Oh also their sweet bbq sauce is delicious as well! Just the right amount of sweet without actually being sugar sweet if that makes sense aha.
I like Dickeys for a good quick lunch. I wish there were more around our area. The ribs are great. I have noticed the food leans toward salty but tastes good for a quick bbq lunch during the week. Plus ice cream dessert and for some reason i appreciate those sturdy plasticdrink cups..
Delicious barbeque! And my kids love the free ice cream. Although I originally checked out this place due to their "kids eat free" promotion on Sundays, it's now high on our list to return to. My daughter even requested Dickey's for her birthday dinner.
My husband said it's the best ribs he has ever had. The brisket reminds me of my mom's pot roast which is the best compliment one could ever get! Staff is friendly and hard working.
Such a great place for food that isn't available at most other chain restaurants. It's absolutely delicious. They clearly have their recipes and process dialed in because the taste, portion size, and expediency of your order are always consistent. And the portions are plenty. Make sure you have an appetite if you go for the 3 meat plate! I am happy to have this in my rotation of takeout food options when we don't want to cook and want something special. Oh, and the rolls that each meal comes with are amazing.
I have been a long time customer, I've seen a lot of changes with this store, food quality goes up and down due to the suppliers, but what keeps me coming back is really the customer service of one Special lady and that's Shawntay.. this woman is always warm and kind and treats me like an old time friend. She's a gem. Thank you to her for making it a great experience every single time we come in. And the food today was in point.
Sandwich combo is perfect for lunch or if you want a little more definitely have the 2 meat combo! Perfect size and everything is awesomely tasty. MAC and cheese and baked beans and potatoe salad are excellent sides. And they have ice cream!!!
Never been to one of these before, but it was an awesome place. The chef saw I was waiting in line so she got my food cooking while the group in front of my finished up, and it was ready right as I finished paying. Cool atmosphere, nice location, free ice cream, not much else needs to be said. I think the beef was a little dry, but I assume that's so you can put as much or little sauce on it as you like. Definitely coming back soon.
Very clean and family friendly atmosphere. I love that the ice cream machine always works and the dinosaur nuggets are perfect for my picky little one. The prices aren't insanely high for great quality bbq.
I have had health issues the last few days in and out of the hospital. The only food I can seem to keep down or a few selected sides from here. Every time I have come in the manager has gone above and beyond with hospitality And compassion. She has literally went out of her way to make sides that were not available just so I was able to eat. She always has a smile on her face and makes you feel welcomed and warm. I will always come back to this particular dickies for her. The food is amazing and the service is even better!
The food is DELICIOUS, smoked well and juicy. The customer service was wonderful, I came in with my family and we were greeted right away, and the food came out so quick! Also the ice cream is so delicious!
Went to Dickey' upon a referral from a coworker. Loved every aspect of the Dickey's in Beaverton. They went over and above to ensure everything was taken care of. Small atmosphere, very fragrant, smoked food sent, atmosphere. Service was excellent and friendly. Tried the three meat tray with two sides and couldn't eat it all. Gotta try them out people.
This was my first experience here and I'd like to give a BIG shout out to this entire team. I came in early to place a later pick up order. Chauntay took my order and helped me pick the perfect combo for what I needed. When I came back to pickup, she was gone for the day but the team was putting the finishing touches to my order and even made a few last minute modifications. Everything was perfect and I'm oh so appreciative for all their help with my huge order. It was a team effort and everyone did great. The food wasn't for me so I can't rate the food but the customer service was awesome!

It was my uncle's birthday and we dropped by to get some food, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Made his birthday a little treat. The 3 guys working there should get a raise!
Oh lord. When they sell you a "giant" loaded potato, they are not advertising. That thing was huge. Pulled pork was tasty, brisket was amazing. Mac was decent too. Quick service, friendly staff. Will come again someday... when I'm no longer full from this time.
My husband and I needed to grab lunch yesterday but I'm on a very restrive diet, but meats are just fine. I've always found the Dickey's menu a little overwhelming but the selection is amazing! Anyway, as opposed to trying figure things out on my own, asked the gal behind the counter for some help. Her name was Chauntay (not sure if I spelled it correctly), and she was a rock star! She explained the options I had, how the meats were prepared (seasonings and/or sugars, etc), and in the end she gave me a winning suggestion which was delicious. Chauntay also offered combo suggestions to my husband and he was very pleased with his delicious sandwich. All in all, we were treated well by a friendly and professional employee who knew her stuff! We ate, got full and left, thanking her for great service. Chauntay is a gem at this location! Notes for corporate: 1) bring back cornbread! its okay that it costs your company more because its delicious and your customers will buy it. 2) give Chauntay a raise cause' that girl is making your customers happy. A breath of fresh air compared to other employees working elsewhere. Hold on to her!!!
I came in today and ordered some good to go. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Give those guys a raise. 🙂 I ordered a family meal that came with 2lbs of meat and 3 sides and 6 of the best rolls I've had in a while. We had 1lbs brisket and 1lbs of shredded pork. Both were delicious. For sides we had mashed potatoes, fries and Mac n cheese. All were really good. I do want to try the giant baked potatoes. Those look amazing. Next time! Thanks for making dinner so I didn't have to.
Eat here pretty frequently and for the most part food is great. They’re a little inconsistent though. Every once and a while all my meat will be dry or the chopped brisket will be mostly mashed up fat. But other than that great service and great food!
There was no sauce out. The food here is always amazing. Just learned about the free ice cream. Yes I said free. The wait wasn't to bad. Got the family meal with pulled pork and brisket with Mac n cheese and fried okra. It was really good. We got it to go but there was only one type of sauce in the bad.

I like the brisket sandwiches so much, but I have to get the Sliced instead of the Chopped because there is lots of fat to trim. I created a pile of fat from my sandwich yesterday. Same as my dad did. My mom’s sandwich was better though.
We stopped here after an event at the Moda Center. The food was delicious for the most part. Our meat was kind of cold. I dealt with it but my wife sent it back and it was replaced with fresh, hot meat pretty quickly. Would definitely come back as the service and atmosphere were exceptional.
Pretty good experience. The butcher seemed a bit passive agressive. The food brisket and pulled pork was dry and the mac and cheese tasted bland. The food is fast prepared and they were slow when we walked in, so I get maybe the food wasn't the freshest.
Inconsistent. Went for the first time on the evening of 8/24 and got the ribs and brisket to go. I will add that business was slow when I arrived and the team behind the counter was nice in putting my order together. When I opened up the to go box at home it looked like they were competing in a BBQ competition - impressive presentation. And the quality of the meat was beyond expectations. I went back for lunch today (8/27) and my experience was quite different. Business was booming with a 5-7 minute line to get my order in. Ordered the same food as last time and when I opened up my to go box I was immediately disappointed as it was sloppily put together. Grease pooling in the bottom of the box. The ribs were more of a pile than distinct ribs. The brisket was somewhat dry. I'm hoping this experience is primarily about being a new business that is working thru the kinks of dealing with a good lunch time rush. I will definitely try again, but I hope next time it is like my first experience as I likely won't go back if it is like my 2nd.
They have decent variety for this faster than typical BBQ joint. The meats themselves are fairly tasty. The brisket and pulled pork was what you would typically expect. The ribs were a bit dry for my liking. The fried okra was good though the mac and cheese was a little softened without texture. The include the drink with your meal which is nice and there's ice cream available at no additional cost and so your value is pretty good. If they could improve the ribs and the quality of the side items I would frequent this restaurant.
Coming from Texas and this being my first experience with BBQ in the PNW, I set my expectation pretty low. As such, it's not bad. It's just alright. But also, the portions are quite small given the price. Yes, I know cost of living should be factored in but the price was already more AND portions were less. Lastly, I ordered through Grubhub, and I waited for an indication that it was ready. Nothing. Waited some more and nothing. I finally just went to the parking lot and waited 10 more minutes, and the order was still being prepared according to the app. I finally just went in. It was apparent that the food was out for a while because I came back to my truck, started driving, and took a bite of turkey, and it was cold.
Wasn't impressed. The food was bland and the service was mediocre. Observed an employee wearing gloves taking garbage out the front door. She opened the door going both in and out while leaving her gloves on (the same ones she used while handling the trash). I sat across from the condiments area and the noise from the kitchen was horrible. It's been a couple of weeks since I was there and I don't remember the other issues but overall it wasn't a great experience. Also, I will NEVER leave a five star review for ANY COMPANY that rewards people for leaving a five star review!!!!
Last night rather then getting back in car after dealing with traffic on way home, I decided to try Door Dash service to get dinner delivered for the family. I was actually surprised at how easy it was to place an order and how informative the service was to track the progress of the delivery. But that all changed. When the food was delivered I noticed the bag was a bit light. After taking the contents out we noticed that two extra sides we ordered were not in the bag. One of the plates we ordered should have had two meats and it had two meats of the same kind. Very frustrating as we frequent this Dickeys quite often because the in store service is top notch and never had an issue with food. I called the store and the employee did their best to try and resolve the issue but that I would need to call Door Dash to report the problem and get money refunded. Now i am not writing this over the money aspect which maybe was not much, but just the lack of what I would call "quality control" when an order goes out the door. Hopefully this is a unique situation that doesnt repeat itself with anyone else
Good service, the manager was very nice. The rootbeer floats you can make are amazing. I had the brisket and it it was perfectly moist and delicious. Not a fan of the Mac and Cheesesl(the noodles tasted a little overcooked) and the potato salad was a little plain. Rolls were pretty small. The fried okra was amazing and delicious(but a little too salty)!
Let me start with I usually LOVE Dickeys! This experience was disappointing. Although service was quick, both parties acted quite irritated that a customer show up. They were short and unfriendly. Food quantity was as expected but the quality a bit lacking. Primarily on the potato casserole (which is why I came here). It tasted more like flour (not even sure if it’s an ingredient) than baked potatoes. The sausage was awesome!! Area was clean enough, ice cream machine broken. I survived lol, but was not what I was hoping it would be for a $25 lunch for one person.
I placed a curbside pickup order at 6:18pm for the Hillsboro, OR location. I had selected to have it ready by 6:30pm. I checked the order status online and it said "in queue". At 6:48pm, the status of the order on my account still read "in queue". I attempted to call the store 7 times in 5 minutes and the number was busy. I decided to drive to the store. I checked the status of the order again once I arrived and it still read "in queue". I called once more from the parking lot at 7:06pm and the line was still busy. I went inside and went up to the register and asked for my online order. They had it sitting on the counter. When I asked how long it had been there, the employee said he didn't know, placed his hand on the top container and said: "It still feels warm." After returning home, all of the food was cold. At this point it was 7:30pm, and my household just wanted to eat rather than taking another hour to drive back and attempt to correct anything. It is now 9:11pm, and my order status online still reads "in queue".
Lower quality than other bbq as brisket doesn't have seasoning or pepper. Beans tasted like can beans too. Turkey was like deli meat.
Unfortunate first experience -- wings are advertised as smoked but are actually fried. Ordered green beans for my toddler but they were very peppery and semi-spicy. A warning on the menu would have been nice.
Kids eat free on Sundays? Only if you have one kid .... two kids plates have never been a problem with 2 adults before, must be struggling; between that and the TVs are dark, no music- I don't expect much for ambiance but retirement home is more lively. You have to ask now for your cone for the ice cream, would also be nice to have ice for my iced tea ..... if it wasn't for the okra I'd get my brisket fix elsewhere
Overall a decent meal, I got the 2 meat plate with sides - kielbasa and brisket. The sides were alright, however I got green beans instead of barbecue beans. The reason for the low rating is the brisket. Brisket should be a hallmark of any place calling themselves a barbecue joint, but this was the worst brisket I’ve ever had - and I’ve had many. Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t expecting God’s gift to barbecue from this place - but you at least need to nail the basics. No bark, and extremely dry - when I stuck my fork in it, it fell apart like a bunch of wood chips. I tried pairing it with the piece of texas toast I had, but it was drier than the bread. I had to slather it in barbecue sauce to make it palatable. I feel bad for the cow that had to end up like that. I would say definitely work on the quality of the brisket, it should be your flagship product - not something that tastes like it’s been under a heat lamp all day.
I’m not sure when but I’ve been going to this Dickeys for over 7/8 years and for a while lately this place has made large changes that have brought this place down. Many fan favorite sides have been taken out and up charged for everything else. I understand inflation but removing items that bring people in and up charging is hurting this place. Many loved ones have stopped visiting due to these recent changes that feel like a change in ownership. The staff have also changed in an unflattering way, where there was friendly staff is met by confused and rushing staff that meet questions with attitude. Hope the feedback helps this place back to its rightful place among great bbq in the area.
I picked up lunch for my team of 40. The pulled pork was dry, no sauce on it. The side items were stuffed in tiny containers and impossible for a group of 40 to get the food without making a huge mess. The other meat was dry and cold. I won't be catering here again. You would think if you order 5 xl side of salad it would come in an easy to serve tray of some sort not In a Styrofoam cup with a lid. The team thought the ceased dressing (in a small cup with a lid) was milk. It was watery and tasteless. I poured all 5 containers of salad lettuce in a tray I self supplied and the bottom of the cups lettuce was slimy like they tried to hide the bad lettuce on the bottom so we wouldn't notice? Or it was pre packed for so long it started to go bad.
In the past 3 months, my family has dined at this location in the evening about 7pm, Of these 3 visits, at least 2 of the same staff members are working, each time. And each time, no greeting or acknowledging our presence, as they are busy conversing with each other. We continued to go eat at your location as it is convenient. Last night, 12/6, no other customers were there, but same situation, no greeting, a few minutes go by, we were finally able to order. When we started eating, most of the food was fine, however my child’s ribs they were freezing cold and bright pink- raw and unable to eat. We found it pointless to ask for a replacement, as, the staff was in the back, most of our stay. Even the tiniest bit of hospitality or attention to quality would go along way to continue to build this location and thrive. I, for one will not be returning, however. Hope others get a better experience.

Place was dead but it was a Wednesday night. Ordered 2 meat plate and got ribs and brisket with Mac n cheese and baked beans. The sides were decent. The ribs seemed old had decent smoke ring but dry. Brisket looked Gelatinous. And had a terrible mouth feel mushy and not good. The brisket had no smoke ring and the bark was soft and didn't taste good. My friend had the sausage and it looked pale like it wasn't smoked either. The BBQ sauce is on a side counter with very poor labeling so only one I took said sweet. Over all this place did seem like a bar b que place. I didn't see any smokers or anything that made me think anything was smoked in house. As a BBQ lover I would not recommend coming here for decent BBQ meat. Only good thing was the price I paid $25 plus tip. But now I wish I'd just go somewhere better.
I’ve been coming to Dickies for about 6 months now and in the beginning it was great. Tonight we stopped by to get some fried Okra as a quick snack that we planned on sharing with 3 people. They told us there was a large size and a small size, basically a box versus a bag. We chose large and when we got home, this is what our order looked like. I’ve literally gotten more Okra in the bag during a lunch special. I’m sorry but if this is what an $8.88 order of Okra looks like, you’ve lost my business for good.
Stopped by Friday night around 6:30pm, and there was a very noticeable and tangible negative vibe in the air. The front line staff seemed annoyed and inconvenienced by any/all ordering customers... this was mostly coming from the gentlemen who appeared to be “in charge” but his bad attitude seemed to trickle down to the other people working the line. The cashier was super friendly, and I almost felt bad for her having to work in such a toxic environment. The air was thick with exasperation, and I could tell that even the seated customers were uncomfortable. If you’ve gotten to a point where you see your customers as such an inconvenience, maybe you should re-evaluate your job description.
They served my family pulled pork that was so disgusting I almost threw up after one bite. I had my wife take a bite to verify and she also almost threw up, She had to go to the bathroom to spit it out. Realising the only way pork could taste that bad was contamination or from being rancid I called to tell the manager Kristen what had happened. She was rude right off the bat and said in order to get a refund for the Pulled pork we'd have to drive back across town to bring it in. I mentioned that the reason I was calling was so they could avoid poisoning somebody with what they were serving. She said it was impossible because they make it fresh everyday. Incredibly frustrated to have been served meat so gross it ruined my night after one bite, try to call to warn the manager and have her tell you you must be lying. I can assure you as a electrical engineer for more than 20 years i have better things to do with my time then try to scam a restaurant out of a $10 refund. A food service person that doesn't even bother to check if they may be poisoning people after being warned is dangerous. 0 stars should be possible. I only hope they don't poison somebody tonight with their negligence.
We ordered through the app to pick up at the Tanasbourne location a couple of weeks ago. First off the lady behind the counter was rude and let us know we are lucky the app let us use a coupon because they don’t take them. She didn’t give us our sides or the beverages we ordered. Had to go back and ask for the missing items. She again reminded us they don’t take coupons from their app and that’s probably was caused the issue with the missing items. To top it off the food wasn’t even worth the price with the coupon. Wouldn’t return due to service alone but the food wasn’t good either.
Went in there for the first time yesterday for take out. Our family ordered 2 spicy brisket sandwich meals, 3 plate meal and a kids meal. When we were checking out cashier asked my husband what bbq flavor he wanted and he said sweet, needless to say we got home and all the sauces were sweet we didn’t know that we had to order spicy separate. All our brisket was cold including inside the sandwiches, and in my husbands 3 meat plate -one of our drinks was wrong and as we checked out glad we looked through our bags one of our 7 sides wasn’t in the bag prior to leaving the store. The employees looked overwhelmed and lost. After spending almost $50 on food and having to reheat food at home not sure if we’ll revisit this location for take out. Update sent my receipt and copy of this to email. Got a generic thank you for letting us know email back.
We went in and did not understand the menu and was talking about it with the nice kid behind the counter and we starred to order and it sounded like we ordered a way they do not like so instead of nicely letting us know how it worked the manager stepped and and rudely told us how it was going to be. I understand we were ordering wrong after he told us however doing it nice and explaining it nicely would of bean the right way. They lost a lot of money from a family of 4. We left. Will not be going back. Customers service would be great if the kid would of kept helping us I am sure he would of told us just fine
I wish I could give this place a 0 star rating. It was so gross, they severed the food basically cold. It smelt bad and tasted worse. I had the pork rib plate, the meat, like I said, was basically cold. It smelt and tasted like it was going bad. The beans had a tinge aftertaste of dish soap. The potato salad wss not bad. Seriously don't eat here I have no idea how this place has 4 stars on Google. I will never eat here again
I visited the location in Beaverton, OR on Evergreen recently. My brother and I were the only customers there at the time we ordered. All of the tables save for one were filthy. My brother's brisket was dry, and my brisket and pulled pork were so dry that they were like eating a brick of tuna right out of the can. I've been to this location before and not had this issue, but it was pretty bad this time. While we were eating, some manager started yelling at his employees in the back before coming out to the dining area to complain about how his trainees wouldn't listen and that he couldn't handle his job. You ever see that show "Kitchen Nightmares"? It was something like that.
We got one of the bakers potatoes AND IT WAS DRY We added the brisket and the brisket wasn't even that good so don't get one of the bakers potatoes for your own good
Last few times I came in the manager was in and it was easily the best ribs and brisket I had ever had in my life. The meat was very flavorful and perfectly cooked. Tasted very fresh too. Last 2 times I came in when he wasn’t in and got the 2 meat plate with half chopped brisket and half sliced brisket. The chopped brisket was mosty fat and mashed up little meat crumbs. The slices were very rubbery and didn’t taste anywhere near to what I had previously. Couldn’t even eat it and ended up tossing it. I don’t mean to be so harsh but it was truly disgusting. Wasn’t very happy about wasting $13 either. Not sure if staff is just lazy or not properly trained but i’m willing to give it one more shot.
The food was good, but the in person ordering process was a nightmare. In store menus showed the wrong prices. Counter staff seemed annoyed, communicated poorly, and had no idea what the current specials were. I literally had to shout through my mask to order because the staff couldn't hear me. Save yourself the headache and just order online. Minus 1 more star for Cameron and the social team that did absolutely nothing to resolve this issue.
I’m sorry to say it’s gone downhill. The last management it was always consistent and the ribs were excellent.I’ve been coming here for 7 Years. Unfortunately it’s gone downhill every time I order the ribs they’re dried out like jerky I always ask for the ones that are The freshest that have just come off the grill I came at 1 o’clock because I was told they come off the grill between noon and 12:30, yet I’m still served ribs that are 24 hours old reheated.I talked to the manager about it and she said to ask for the ones that are the freshest I said I did no apology no customers right just this isn’t the place for you.
Really bad experience, we went for my mother in laws birthday and it was awful! Her food was cold.. the lady that was preparing the food was being super rude ! Rushing us to choose from the menu, it was our first time there and she didn't care to suggest anything. The cashier didn't tell us they were out of fountain drinks until we purchased it.. after we asked for a refund and he said NO REFUNDS! ????? I was super upset because if we would have known we would of never got cups for fountain drinks && we werent the only ones.. We had to drink water with our food and there were ants on the trash can! 🐜 🐜 🐜 🐜 🐜 all over ..
Though the food is usually pretty good, the staff always seems stressed out and there's at least one of them (different every time) that has no idea what they're doing. To avoid that stress I recently ordered online for delivery. I asked for 18 dry/no sauce ribs, a gallon of sweet tea, 6 rolls, creamed spinach, and several other meats and sides. When it finally arrived (25 minutes late) the ribs had sauce, the rolls were stale, the creamed spinach was watered down, and the tea was just altogether not sent. The other items were good, but sheesh.... Messed up items, not fresh items, and things I paid for but didn't receive.
Garbage Dickeys do not waste your time or money! Purchased a coupon on clipper for this location and they would not honor it when I went in. Food was packaged ready to go and I gave them my phone to scan the QR code for the coupon and they told me they cannot scan the QR codes, they need me to print it so they have it for their records. I asked why they could not just scan it from my phone and they said I would need to speak with the manager who wasn’t there (seems to never be there). Left without food. Coupon did not state anywhere that it needed to be printed and seriously who’s printing things these days with technology being what it is?!?!? They also said they just changed their prices on the food which was not advertised on their menu for the public to see and refused to give me an itemized receipt. This place is a hot mess and doesn’t seem to have competent leadership or management.
I've ate at dickeys for a few years and never had a problem with the food or service until today. Ordered through doordash, the prices were much higher, got less food and worse service. Didn't even get barbecue sauce from the barbecue joint. Food didn't taste bad but they've made sandwiches smaller while boosting the price. No straws, no barbecue sauce, smaller sandwich, more money. Not going back.
Terrible customer service. Knowledge of their products totally absent. French fries were actually good. We both had had the #7 ribs were dry, the biscuits were very average. I wish there was a hogs wild on the west side. Don't waste your time or money.
I ordered the brisket and kielbasa sandwich today. The brisket was so hard that it hurt my tooth when I bit into it. Then I pulled out a 3 inch piece of plastic from my mouth after I had already take a bite. I’ve never had such a bad experience at this place before. I wish I could give it more stars but this should NEVER happen.
Usually this place is pretty good….. probably because I order on door dash. I chose poorly and came in here on a sunny nice day. Worse customer service ever. Didn’t get greeted when walking in the door and it took two employees to cash me out. Both of these guys just stood there and stared at the wall the whole time and it felt very uninviting. Texas bbq should always be met with a howdy just like it is in Texas. Probably won’t be coming back here anytime soon because of the customer service.
I usually give at least three visits before writing a review. On my first visit there was so much confusion and back and forths that I had to use terms like “middle menu, near bottom” to try and help the workers understand what I was talking about. Stating the names of menu items as shown on the menu didn’t work. Other questionable things occurred, such as: “Don’t forget your cup.” “I don’t need a cup.” “It’s for your soda.” “I didn’t order soda.” “The price is wrong, I ordered this item that costs this much.” “Oh, I thought you wanted something else instead.” (which was a vaguely similar item, and on a different menu.) Finally, I got the food but it was still not what I had ordered. I had to go back to the counter and explain things again, with just as much difficulty. A day or so later I checked my credit card, and the amount charged was different than what was on my receipt. A higher amount, of course. Ordering here is very, very difficult, and you’ll have to talk to your credit card company and show them your receipt. Overall, it’s a huge chore.
The wings are not worth it. Dry not served hot. Service is also Luke warm! I would take a picture of how small and overcooked the wings if I could . $16 meal and I just ate okra! Will not eat here again!
Friendly, clean, neat, I have to say the food was mediocre. The sauces were good, my chicken was off the bone and pressed together in a roll. The proportions were small and way too salty. I wish I could have given this a higher rating. Busters is still worth the drive! !
The food was not only disgusting but dangerous. We called to report our concerns the manager accused me of lying. I told her I was concerned about safety she said I was wrong and lying. I rarely give bad reviews but this is just dangerous. Also I still have all of the meat she implied we ate. NEVER eat here. The picture can't show you disgusting it tasted but we didn't eat anything past the first bite!
Didn't have items that were on sale during dinner rush. Had to drive to 2 separate locations and still didn't fill my order correctly
Walked in waited 10 mins as I stood at counter and 2 men worked in back and neither greeted me nor asked me if I wanted to order. I just turned around and walked out. Horrible customer service.
Last night I stopped by at dickies and asked for a #3.. they employee got mad for whatever reason and kept being so rude. They asked what I wanted for a side and I said “fries” and they didn’t understand and they asked again and I said fries again and they still didn’t understand and they were getting mad.. how hard is it to understand FRIES??! I kept my cool but they were sooo rude for no reason. I worked customer service for 5 years and I always treat employees right because I know how people can be. Anyways I go home and put my bbq in a pan to heat it up and I found a lot of plastic in the bbq!! I don’t know if it was an accident or on purpose but that was not cool at all!! I hope they’re extra careful next time because this can cause serious problems. Also, please train employees to be customer friendly when we walk in. Employees have a lot of attitude at this location.
I ordered for delivery they missed half my order. The small boneless wings I did get were cut in half.
Restaurant gave my order to the wrong Uber Eats driver. Refused to remake it.
This location is straight garbage. I’m sure the customer service is bad because they already know this location is getting shut down due to low revenue and poor customer interaction.
The service was nonexistent. The cashier was too interested in counting the till and checking receipts to acknowledge us. We took turns using the bathrooms. Still ignored so exited. Why do l want somebody making food that has hair so greasy? It was also a turn off. We crossed the parking lot and had some Asian food. Exited at 4:20 not at all busy. Won't return ever. Buster's Barbeque l would recommend driving to Tigard.
I ordered out with my family tonight before reading reviews and i wish i had. let me just say DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!! All drinks were about 3 1/2 quarters full. Ordered 3 meals for 3 people spent 70$ and they couldn’t even get our food right. I originally ordered fries and a crispy chicken sandwich with a Diet coke. What I Got was a smoked brisket sandwich, a 3 quarters full drink that wasn’t even labeled what it was and literally the soggiest fries i’ve ever had. My dad ordered mac and cheese for a side and got also soggy fries. We order door dash often, i’m used to cold or a little bit of soggy fries but i mean like i held it up and it was so soggy it fell apart. Mind you again we spent 70$ for 3 small meals, and received 9$ back and 25% off 😂 what a joke right?! keep your discount thanks. We will not be ordering from this place ever again. So disappointed, i honestly feel like throwing my food away and making a home cooked meal now 😬
Ordered through Uber eats their buy one get one free deal for the 3 piece ribs for me and my mom to eat. Waited over an hour for the food just to see they completely forgot the second order. Why offer something if your not going to actually give it ?
Place has gone way downhill since last visit. And price has doubled. Hate giving bad reviews. Way too expensive. Ordered an extra 1/2pb of pulled pork, weighed it at home and it wasn't even a 1/4lb. Sorry dickies, won't be going back.
I recently visited Dickey's BBQ, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. While the casual atmosphere might appeal to some, the environment was dirty and uninviting. As for the food, it was incredibly disappointing, especially for the $25 price tag. The chicken tasted like it had been frozen, was overly salty, and crumbled in texture. The brisket smelled off and had a sour aroma that made it impossible to eat. The pulled pork was gray in color and had an odd, unappetizing flavor. The only thing remotely palatable was the mac and cheese, which was made with fake cheese but at least had a consistent texture. However, the green beans were unappetizing, and the beans had strange white flecks of debris in them that made me question the quality of the food. Overall, it was a struggle to stomach this meal, and I left feeling unsatisfied and disappointed. I won’t be returning.
Literally every time we order from this place they mess something up. We just ordered 4 sandwiches with bbq sauce cheese pickles, paid extra for cheese and pickles, and received four PLAIN sandwiches- literally just bun and meat. No sauce, no cheese, no pickles. Like…the sauce is kind of a big deal for bbq pulled pork sandwiches. When they actually deliver the right stuff we like this place but we just wasted $50 on delivery for a ruined meal and we’re only given back $25. I tried to leave feedback on the app but it wouldnt let me so here you go.
