This location is always busy. The staff was friendly and polite. The staff smiled and made helpful recommendations. My order was made as I asked for it. The fries are always fresh and flavorful. They are thick-cut and very tasty. You can find a sign, letting you know where the potatoes are grown, which is neat. They have loads of free peanuts, you just grab a container, and fill it up however many times you want. The have 2 coca-cola freestyle machine so you can mix your fountain drink to your own liking.

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the whole staff. Every table was cleaned and organized (never seen that in another restaurant). The cashier- Isriael got my order down and relayed it to the cook Jacob. My burger was one of the best, I have had from a Five guys and that’s all thanks to Jacob. Everyone of my fry’s was cooked to perfection. Not a limp fry in the whole bag. That was thanks to Khie on the fryer. Can’t say enough about these professionals and their work ethic. 10 out of 10!!

My complements to the franchisee, you have really cleaned up the staff and service there from what it used to be, night and day difference. You can just look at the staff and know the service is going to be better than previously. The manager is always in the kitchen, he is friendly, engaging and obviously cares about the service of the restaurant. I am back being a customer to this location...Im sure I am not the only one to (or will) return.

I haven’t visited Five Guys in a while and wasn’t sure if things had remained the same. I didn’t need to worry because the food and service was exceptional. The man with the beard who handed me my order was so positive and welcoming it made me feel great as well. I will definitely return. Salted caramel and Reese’s cup milkshakes were great too.

This is the first time I have tried this burgers and they were ok, I’m really not that into burgers but this was good, I asked for the little cheeseburger, but the regular size is double the size. The fries had a great taste

Out of the national chains, definitely #2. The burgers are tasty, the fries are tasty. Some attention to detail on the quality and freshness of the veggies would help it out a great deal. The amount and variety of toppings is insanity. Definitely get to experience something different.

Thought the reviews may just be one off situations. I was wrong. While the food was good, they were clearly skimping out on the large fries. Every other location gives way more than this one. Keep in mind, it's $8 so you should get what you paid. All the employees speak only Spanish, so the only way to communicate with them is via the manager.

I ordered a bacon cheeseburger in store today and left as soon as I got the order. What I got was a burger with no bacon and a hair in the cheese. This is so disappointing, I wanted to enjoy the meal but just couldn’t anymore.

Really disappointed. Cold (out of the fridge) buns. Wet enough and tasted like dough. Also very expensive $13.95 for a bacon cheeseburger. I will never eat there again.

I just don't get it. I have been to several of these restaurants and am always at a loss as to why people like them. My burgers are never hot, barely warm. The cheese tasted and looked like cheese whizz. I am looking for a place that knows how to brown the edge of the burger and make it crispy around the edge.

My husband and I usually love five guys. They’re usually on point but they totally forgot my husband’s bacon today! Which was a huge disappointment because we live 15 mins away & it’s not like we can go back…

This is my favorite five guys, location, near my work. The manager runs one of the cleanest, friendliest and quickest food franchises in the Houston area. He's always greeting people as they come in the door and he's a good 50 or 60 ft away either cooking or running a register. Upon entering a few days ago, I was getting an order for two people and wanted to split my order of fries as the order, as I already mentioned was for two different folks. I ordered one bacon cheeseburger plain. I ordered a second one with lots of goodies on it and then ask for a large order of fries to just be split between the two bags. The gentleman that was taking my order told me he could not do that. I said which part and he said that they could not split the fries in two bags, I asked why that was not possible. He said they were not allowed to do that. I said you normally put a certain amount of fries in one of the paper cups and then you just dump a bunch of fries on top of that into the bag, I'm just asking for you to set the bucket of fries in one bag and whatever the extra that you're going to provide throw in the other bag. The gentleman looked at me and said that he could not do that. I told him thank you and he can cancel my order because I was leaving. As I was headed downtown with my five guys order, which I did not have now, I looked to see if there was another one near where I was going to meet my friend for lunch. There was so I just went to the second location and made the exact same order and request and the person there didn't have a problem with splitting my fries into two bags. I will be back into this location again as I have stated and I really like the manager at this particular location. But it was a disappointing experience, since I wasn't asking for anything I felt was extraordinary. But this is our youth of today. They don't understand the value of a repeat guest and feel as though it's easier just to be difficult or offer another solution. Our order with tax would have been just under $40.

First time at a Five Guys in Texas. Attempted to order a simple hamburger and it took 10 minutes due to the inability of the cashier to understand basic English. Note to managemet : Not everyone speaks Spanish in Houston. Hire better staff. Won't be coming back.

The store staff service are fine. BUT the store manager on the Sep 19th (I guess he is the manager cuz he doesn’t wear the store t-shirt like all other cooks) who speaks English more fluently than others, is kinda sneaky and was not quiet honest in my encounter with him. So my impression of the place is not very nice. Maybe it will get better when i forget this personal experience there. Food quality is the usual five-guys quality, I mean it’s a chain store, so I wouldn’t expect anything less.

Jan 2024, this place is so disgusting, if you want a nasty meal with nasty unsanitary people preparing your food, this is the place!! I watched the heavy hispanic guy make a hamburger, God is my witness, the hamburger was laying open exposed for over 5+ mins while he was talking to the other employees, so disgusting. The hamburger was being exposed to potential airborne or aerosol virus/bacterial particles/ spit droplets from the talking and breathing all over the hamburger buns & veggies on the bun while waiting on the meat to be cooked. I couldn't how long it was sitting there out in the open on the prep counter. Also, he didn't change his gloves to start the new burger. I will NEVER eat at this location again but if I do eat at another location I will be watching them as well. Now, I see why it's always empty at the Washington location. I'm not sure why there's so many employees behind the counter. I'm not understanding why they are fully staffed for a empty restaurant that took forever to make a small order because they were talking and laughing with each other and not doing their job sufficiently. Whataburger, McDonald's & the Burger Joint is way faster! This place is being ran so crazy. The entire staff need to be fired or professionally retrained by a Burger Joint, Whataburger or McDonald's employee. I will be going to the Burger Joint on N.Shepherd from now on. This place need to take a page out of their book. Everyone at the Burger Joint is so professional, very attentive to their customers & it's so pack everytime I go BUT they are so fast. Way faster than Five Burgers on Washington Ave which is always empty. I read some of the other bad reviews & they are on point. If Marvin Zindler was alive he would say this place have unprofessional unsanitary employees with nasty habits, MARVIN ZINDLER I WITNESS NEWS & HE WOULD SAY I FOUND SLIM IN THE ICE MACHINE, IF HE FOUND SLIM.

The lady with the glasses and durag is rude, unprofessional, and clearly has a problem with other women. I was in there today picking up an order and there are several men crowding the counter, she hasn’t told any of them they needed to move or talked to them rudely, as soon as I approach the counter, she looks at me in disgust and tells me she’ll call me when my order is ready . Like there is a problem with me standing right where everyone else is , and all I was getting was a milkshake and a fry and it’s taken over 15/20 minutes . If you don’t like your job then don’t work there. Period .

I visited this location yesterday, 5/15, for dinner with two of my friends. When we walked in, we were greeted and went straight up to order. The cashier was very friendly and helpful. We went, sat down, and our food was ready soon. The man bagging the food and handing it off made light, joking conversation with us and we grabbed the bags. The food was delicious! I got up, near the end of our meal, to order something to go for my partner. I could feel the man we spoke to earlier staring at me the entire way. I ordered and went to sit back down. He watched me again, very closely. Obviously enough that my friend made a comment about it when I came back to the table. When I went to pick up my food, he told me that I had beautiful eyes. I thanked him and went to grab my food. He then started with, "I don't want to offend you or make you upset when I say this but..." Then he leaned over the counter so he could blatantly look at my butt and tell me, "baby girl, you've got some BREAD back there! You've got some CAKE!" I grabbed my food and began walking away while he continued to say extremely inappropriate things about my body. My friends and I left immediately and he watched me the whole time. Please have a conversation with your staff about appropriate conversations to have with patrons. It makes me really sad that I wont be able to come back and enjoy the food because your employees make me feel unsafe and extremely uncomfortable.

Found hair in fries and worker acted as if he had no clue what I was referring to. Then offered to new friee or shake. I couldn't even finish my burger I was disgusted.

I was there the 1st Dec, around 6 to 7 pm, I was surprised about the behavior the team has, the big guy with the piercing was so rude and making fun of customers in Spanish him and the guy with the black ear rings. They were so loud and all customers were upset. I don't wonder why the restaurant was almost empty. The manager in charge of that store should control his team and should check the video recordings for their performance and unprofessional habits. I can't see myself or anyone I care about going back to that store.

Staff was very nice. But I had one cheeseburger, the smallest fries order , and NO drink. $17 Definitely not a meal worth that price. Five Guys has gotten full of themselves. No wonder it was empty at 12pm in a high traffic area of town. If I hadn't had a gift card I wouldn't go.

I expressed my concerns and they gave a bit more but it’s still much less than usual :( The fries were also undercooked…

If you are going to shut down early then post that on the door or website. Next time you have a BOGO.. bring in more staff and or turn off the orders ! Over an hour wait… keep in mind i ordered online. Pretty rediculous considering the app and email notification mentioned orders being ready in 12-14 minutes. Staff did there best with what they had. But the staff continued taking orders even though orders just kept coming in from online.
