This restaurant delivers on all fronts! The authentic Mexican food is incredible—fresh, vibrant, and clearly made with pride, setting it far above standard fare. The cool decor is lively and colorful, creating an immediately fun and immersive atmosphere. Beyond the delicious menu, the great hospitality from the whole team is noteworthy. The true standout was LuLu. She has fantastic service skills, making her attentive, friendly, and deeply knowledgeable. She was extremely helpful in trying to decide what food to get, offering perfect recommendations that made our dining complete. If you want a truly authentic meal, a great setting, and service that goes above and beyond, ask for LuLu!

The restaurants vibe was so nice and I felt welcomed. Especially by my server, lulu, she was so attentive, kind, and works quick. I had the menudo and it was so tasty and fresh. My sister had the flautas and they were absolutely delicious!! I highly recommend this place. A gem in the city for sure!

Food tastes just like if you’re at your grandmas house. From their tortillas hechas a mano, natural aguas frescas along with their authentic Mexican food flavors, we couldn’t have asked for anything better. There were also lots of green plants indoors, such a green, organic environment. The waitress was super nice and the service we got was top tier. Can’t wait to go back and try another dish.

This is a nice small restaurant with authentic Mexican food. Cooked slow and with love the taste is amazing. Everything comes out fresh and they greet you with a free cup of soup which is delicious and tastes homemade. Very clean and the juices are delicious and fresh squeezed.

I’ve visited this restaurant a handful of times now, and every single dish I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious. The quality and flavor are consistently impressive, which is what keeps me coming back. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the portion sizes and freshness of the food. One of my favorite things about this place is their fresh juices—always refreshing and perfectly made. The staff is another highlight: they’re always friendly, helpful, and make you feel genuinely welcome. It’s clear they care about providing a great experience. This restaurant has quickly become a family favorite for us. Whether we’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a relaxed meal, we always leave happy and satisfied. Highly recommend!

If you're in Houston and craving authentic Mexican food, Los Mendoza is a must. Everything here tastes homemade and full of flavor. We started with a refreshing Pal Corazón cocktail and watched them prepare a spicy red sauce right at our table amazing! I dipped a warm tortilla into the sauce with some guacamole and it was one of the best bites of the night. We tried a little bit of everything: the tacos ahogados were juicy and flavorful, the birria ramen combo was rich and comforting, and the enchiladas were classic and delicious. I also had carne en su jugo for the first time definitely a new favorite. And of course, we couldn’t skip dessert: the banana split and flan were the perfect sweet ending. The staff is super friendly and made us feel right at home. You can tell they care about what they serve. I’ll definitely be back soon!

We were looking for authentic Mexican breakfast and we definitely came to the correct spot! From the moment we stepped in we were greeted with a warm welcome, we seated ourselves and our order was promptly taken. The large variety of options is awesome, the restaurant is very clean and well taken care of, our food came out perfect and everyone was satisfied. We will definitely be back for lunch or dinner next time! Thank you LULU and all the staff for an excellent service and meal.

We love this place so much that we’ve ate here 10 times in three weeks since finding it! It’s such a hidden gem and Lulu is lovely! Sweetest, most hardworking waitress we have ever had. Can’t recommend enough.

I wish I could put more Stars. This place is awesome. So we don't ever go by airline Rd, I mean unless we have to like today. We were supposed to eat somewhere where we live but I told my husband nah let's just eat somewhere over there. I looked at some places and Los Mendoza came up with 4.5 stars. I read the reviews and liked it so we decided to eat there. From the moment you walk in they welcome you and you sit wherever you want. The cleanest, waiter, the food and everything was absolutely delicious. I took some pictures. 💯 Recommended. Definitely want to go again whenever we are on that side.

We were driving by and saw this restaurant,so we decided to give it a try. There was a 20 min wait (no big deal). It's a small restaurant with enough tables. We ordered the fresh fruit drinks. They are awesome especially they offer no sugar!! Ordered 2 taco de tripa well cooked. They are the WORST tacos I have ever tasted. All I tasted was fat and they added fat to the tacos. Who adds fat to tripa tacos? Had beef soup. Good flavor and the beef was really soft to eat. Had menudo and it was kinda bland, but the menudo itself was soft and easy to chew. Fresh made tortillas. They brought us some small soup and I believe flautas de potaoe. It was a nice touch, but they brought it when we got our food. Could of brought it while we were waiting for our food

Do not believe the hype! We tried because what we saw on Tik-Tok...presentation is nice but believe me when I say the food did not have much flavor.... the cinnamon coffee tasted like water! Sorry...but the whole family was dissatisfied.
