They have an indoor bar area that can be an event space as well, and they have an outdoor patio in the back for those who prefer a more quiet space. Come to support and hang out with the community. There’s some gays bars out there but few lesbian bars. It’s nice to have a supporting space for queer people! Reasonably priced drinks.

As a queer woman, this is one of the only truly safe spaces I have in Houston. It’s one of the reasons I have been able to embrace myself for the first time! The vibes are always amazing especially because of their DJ’s and the staff is so kind. Drinks are very reasonably priced, a lot of them under $10. We are so lucky to have Pearl!

Pearl is Houston's only lesbian bar and it's very loved by the community and for me it's my personal favorite out of the lesbian bars I've been to across the country! The atmosphere is always welcoming and diverse and chill. Every weekend there are different themes and events going with different music and special themed drinks. Also, it has a large patio so it's nice to have two different spaces/moods and check both of them out or stay in one depending on the vibe you're going for. Recently they also expanded to the bar next door called Side Peace so that offers even more! It also has an indoor and outdoor space so it's great to get 4 different vibes in one visit and pick your preferred one! Overall love this place!

Such a great spot! We were there on a Sunday and it was packed full of amazing humans, everyone dancing and enjoying their evening. Cheap drinks, good service, and a great space! Also loved the way they decorate. Would go back!

Celebrated my birthday here and had a blast! Drinks were amazing, and I got a photo with Amber from amberscloset. Bathrooms are gender neutral and clean! Update: I'm back at Side Peace, next door, as a vendor this Pride Market Sunday. The process of becoming a vendor was SO easy! All I had to do was text a number from their Instagram, and show up at 2pm with a table and my products. They don't charge to have a spot! I love the community connections I'm making, tips I'm hearing and learning, as well as the atmosphere! Update: I'm back at Pearl and SidePeace celebrating another birthday. The give and take with the community, spreading love and joy has truly made this the Best Birthday EVER!!!

It starts to pick up around midnight, when we first got there it was empty. The drinks were good. The staff is cool. The outdoor area is chill and really big. The music is okay. They allow soliciting, a person tried to sell us sausages. There’s a lot of seating and a lot of people came alone which I thought was cool.

As a regular customer of this bar, I’m suppper disappointed of the service from the people who they hired recently. I’ve been coming to this bar for the past 2 years but this person shown in the photo didn’t know what “Permanent Residency” ID is. Didn’t let me in, for not having additional ID, even though I had a valid ID expiring in 2029 CALLED GREENCARD. This is the first time I came across to a human being them living in Texas and not knowing what Greencard is. He was extremely disrespectful. I won’t be back no more. If you are reading this comment, there is way better bars in the area. Also, for the past couple weeks they been watering down the liqours, especially the new bartender (I don’t have her pic). Don’t waste your time!

used to love it, but now they’re having strip club shows and men overrun the place!! it’s basically a strip club. and other days it’s empty. used to be a safe space but not anymore. such a weird vibe…do better pearl- please make it safe for lesbians and couples to go comfortably again! stop with the strip club experience and kick the men out- is this not a lesbian bar?

i love this bar. i come here every weekend but recently i’ve been coming and the bartender chanel and sweets have been making my drinks wrong and / or waters them down. when i ask for them to be remade im met with attitude and arguing. i come here to seek community and i am being met with disrespect. the drinks here are pretty expensive for the amount you get but these actions are turning paying customers away. really disappointing for houston’s only lesbian bar.

I'm going to the Montrose Center to meet with an attorney in a week. You really need to contact me asap, I've already called eight times and left three text messages and your voicemail says you will reply shortly and I started doing this 4 days ago. She was very rude to my friend who is a teacher and who doesn't even drink alcohol anyways, she's just there to dance and drink coca-cola, accused of outrageous things that never happened and you need to contact me you need to go through your text messages and you need to reply to the people who have texted you.

First off … having someone on the mic talk during every single song is annoying. That was a side bar to the more important detail of tonight’s experience which felt like security needed to be more attentive. I watched a guest literally about to fight due to another guest being belligerent to them without anything happening about it. Keep in mind this took place near the exit where security was stationed. Moments later the same belligerent guest who had already made someone so uncomfortable that they left, tried to pick someone up to dance knocking a table over with drinks on it, which spilled on me and into my drink. Friendly reminder this is all taking place near the exit, no more than 10 feet from the security. The guest could barely walk. If I decided to engage in being just as belligerent I’d be wrong. So security needs to do better. & Whoever continually served this child, should consider being more observant to people who can’t handle their alcohol!!! Never returning!!
