This is definitely a Houston hidden gem. I let my daughter do a little research for a coffee shop, and she found this location. I was expecting to go to a coffee shop; however, it was certainly different, but very nice. I will definitely be visiting again. Very relaxed, gorgeous hidden gem; food was absolutely great and well above my expectations. I will definitely be visiting again. Took a couple of photos felt like I was in a professional photo shoot the place is so gorgeous Houston, Texas. We have a winner. #houston

Ordered the ribeye tartar and the short ribs with the truffle mashed potatoes. The food was amazing, and the dj on weekends was great. Would definitely return.

The Kennedy is hands down one of my favorite spots in Houston—especially for cocktails and a fun pre-game dinner before heading out with friends. The vibe is always on point, and the music is a huge highlight, especially when they bring in special guest DJs. The food is consistently great. My absolute favorites are the lobster pasta and the mozzarella sticks with caviar—so indulgent and insanely delicious. If you’re looking for a place with amazing drinks, great music, and elevated food in Houston, I highly recommend checking this spot out. You won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely amazing dining experience and the drinks and music are great! Took my girlfriend on a date there and now it’s our regular go-to spot in Houston. The Lobster Twist, mozzarella stick and steak are great!

I think this place is a bit underrated. One of the unique restaurants with their own vibes, ambiance, and decorations. Entering The Kennedy made me feel like entering the small museum. The food was amazing. Unfortunately, 2 of my dishe were a bit overcooked, too crispy 🥹 However, the flavors were wonderful, flavorful, and tasty! The service was great, but I still expect more. Their cocktail lists look all amazing. I got myself a Guavatini - super unique but tastes so good.

The food was really good. I went for brunch, had the prime steak & eggs, Pancakes & Berries and crab cakes eggs Benedict (not pictured). Everything tasted really good. The service was great and the day we went it wasn’t crowded. Parking is valet for $5 before 3pm & $10 after 3pm. I went on my birthday and they gave us a complimentary cheesecake. I plan to come back to try dinner.

I had the pleasure of taking in Brunch on a Sunday, and DJ was spinning some great flashback tunes. My table host Zek was phenomenal. He spoke five languages, and was on point when I needed something. I didn't have to want for anything; he was a step ahead. I decided on the Osetra Caviar service, which came with chips, blinis, Crème fraîche, relish (NOT my fave- tasted like fish), capers, onions, and pickled shallots. I love that they broke the capers open!!! 💗 Zek did not try to hurry me along. As a matter-of-fact, he waited 1.5 hours for me to finish my caviar before putting in my order for the lobster & grits. That was super considerate! 💖💞💗 Sweet heavens, the grits was soft and fluffy. One of the BEST top 10 I've had. Believe me, I've traveled the world, and have tried many different variations of grits. This was hands down superb. The breading used for the lobster was fantastic. The integrity was the lobster and spinach was kept intact. They were exquisite. I was stuffed from the caviar, but I was glad I decided to continue with the lobster & grits. Ambience was very inviting, open yet intimate. I live that whilst I was taking photos, the staff was super accommodating and even offer lighting for me to capture photos. Thank you to all the staff & especially Zek for incredible tableside service. ***The valet stated that a reservation is required. I was grabbing a latte next door, and inquired if I was able to take brunch. If you Def want to make sure you're able to be death, I would recommend a reservation.

We loved it all!

I flew out from Scottsdale to Houston to experience The Kennedy. I had seen this new restaurant on Instagram and it truly looked incredible. Once I arrived, it blew my expectations out of the water! From the moment I walked in I was obsessed. I was greeted by a live pianist and lovely and professional staff. The atmosphere, aesthetic, and decor were captivating - I felt like I was transferred to a modern day supper club, and the dark, sexy ambiance was such a vibe. Later into the evening they had a live DJ on top of a fireplace. I of course was there for their infamous caviar mozzarella stick, and had other wonderful caviar appetizers and dishes, as well as a few different martinis. There were sooo many photo opps. I had the pleasure of meeting the chef and a few of the owners and they could not have been more incredible. If I’m being honest, I’m considering moving to Houston now solely because of that restaurant. I heard they have brunch as well and I can’t wait to get back to try that! Staff, ambiance, decor, food, and beverages were all 10/10 - book your reservation now!

I didn't click on all 5-stars because I work there - I don't. I didn't do it to hurry through quickly for some reward - there isn't one. I did it because I had the best dining experience I have had in years - and I travel a lot. Tomas Rivero was our waitstaff, concierge, cruise director, and entertainment as if he were an AI-generated experience. Whatever you are paying that guy, it isn't enough. I had three drinks: Smoked Old Fashioned, the Lavender French 75, and the La Paloma (all were recommended by Tomas). I make my own craft cocktails, and I think I am pretty good at it, but these were the most beautiful and tasty in Houston. The deviled eggs appetizer and the braised short ribs main course could not have been better. the authentic Burrata ice cream is a game changer. The setting was a little bit speakeasy and a lot 1950s classy. Mike, the guy on piano, was a phenom. We were celebrating Father's Day a week early because my wife and I will be out of town that weekend. I just can't get the whole experience out of my mind. Except for a few people who came in at around 9:30 PM and sat on the backside of the bar, everyone was dressed nicely - classy. The ones who came in from the street looked out of place as if they had come from a backyard party. Maybe once you are well established, you can invite them to come back another time to keep the vibe up-scale. Maybe that is why they sat them where they did. I am not suggesting that it is or will become a snooty place at all. There were gentlemen there in very nice golf shirts and dress slacks. I'm coming back for the coffee service and the bar as often as we venture in from Cypress, Texas, but will have the main menu again soon.

The Mike Law staff and I recently visited this restaurant after a fashion show, and from the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. We were warmly greeted by a very kind host and seated at a cozy corner table. Our waiter, Tomas, truly made the night unforgettable. Tomas was everything you could ever ask for, attentive, kind, funny, and completely on top of every order. His sparkling personality lit up the entire room and was such a breath of fresh air, especially since our group had endured a very difficult week due to the passing of a family member. His energy, compassion, and professionalism meant more to us than he probably realizes. I will absolutely be revisiting this place but only if Tomas is our waiter. He is a true gem. The food was excellent, the champagne was crisp and flowing, and the overall vibe was perfection. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ to you all. Keep up the fantastic work & see you soon! 👏🍾👌

Absolutely LOVE The Kennedy! The food is beyond delicious — every bite was amazing and full of flavor. The place itself is beautiful and has such a great vibe. The staff is incredible and always checking in to make sure everything is perfect and that you’re enjoying yourself. The drinks are SO good and definitely a must-try! From the food to the service to the atmosphere, everything is top-notch. I 100% recommend The Kennedy and can’t wait to go back!

Came here for Valentine’s Day and had the best experience from start to finish. We were seated quickly, which already set the tone for the night. Andres (I believe he’s the manager?) was incredibly kind and welcoming — truly such a great guy. He made us feel taken care of right away and honestly added something special to the evening. Our server was also fantastic: attentive, friendly, and on top of everything without being overbearing. The prices are on the steeper side, but the food and drinks absolutely justify it. The lavender French 75 was AMAZING — perfectly balanced and so refreshing. The sea bass was phenomenal, and the purée it came with was SO good I’m still thinking about it. On top of that, the restaurant itself is adorable and has such a great vibe. Overall, it truly made my Valentine’s Day feel special, and Andres really elevated the entire experience. Highly recommend.

Amazing! We were there to celebrate my sister's birthday and this experience did not disappoint. Our server, Tomás was excellent! He treated us like we were family...the kind of family that you like 😊. He was very attentive and had a pleasant attitude! The atmosphere of the restaurant was fabulous and Amanda, the singer, was jamming! All the tunes. The food was very tasty from the appetizers (deviled eggs) to the main entrees (sea bass, duck confit pasta, short rib) to the sides (braised rib macaroni and cheese) to the desserts (delicious cookies and cheesecake) to the beverages (lavender 75). Overall, it was a wonderful experience and will be back! 10/10, would recommend.

Love the beef bacon option. The food was good, but it was not brought out hot and fresh. The drinks are not strong. I would suggest ordering off menu and requesting less ice. The service was pretty good as well. Very cute spot with good portion size for the cost. I will say, brunch options are very limited. A broader menu might be good.

I had a great overall experience, let’s start there. As a vegan, I can appreciate there being an option on the menu. What I did not appreciate was the lack of creativity with the dish, from other dishes I saw on the menu, the amount of veggies that could have been added to the dish could have been a lot more which would have elevated the dish. And for $28 dollars, definitely be more thoughtful. It’s great to have an option as mentioned, a plate of basically noodles and pesto sauce?? Just add more veggies. I would have loved some spinach, maybe some asparagus, etc without it being an extra charge (not sure it would have been). Otherwise, the drinks were tasty and the bartender (Xander or Zander) was very personable, enjoyed him a lot! Very cute ambiance as well

The Kennedy offers a fantastic ambiance with a beautifully designed space that feels upscale, stylish, and perfect for a night out. The service was genuinely excellent, attentive, warm, and professional…easily one of the highlights of the evening. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite match the expectations set by the atmosphere and service. Several dishes, including the sea bass, surf and turf, short ribs, and lobster pasta, were all noticeably lacking in flavor. While everything was plated nicely, the seasoning and depth of taste just weren’t there, making the overall meal feel underwhelming. Another surprising detail was the unusual “card acceptance fee” charged per guest, even though only one card was used for the table?? We had four guests, and were charged for 5. It wasn’t a major amount, but it did feel a bit unethical do not disclose or mention that prior to and uncouth for a restaurant of this style. Overall, The Kennedy has a beautiful ambiance and service, but the flavor and execution of the dishes left something to be desired. With adjustments in the kitchen and full transparency with their charges, it has the potential to be a better experience.

The Kennedy really is a nice place to have dinner. We dined on a Thursday night and there were not many people. We did have reservations however there was more than enough space for more customers. The Kennedy is valet parking only for the dinner hour but parking attendant stated that during the lunch hour some days it’s self parking. When calling there is a $5 charge for valet before 3 and after 3 that charge is $10. The parking lot is very small. Major turn off is valet is right in front of the door so you’re paying to valet and walk right up to the entrance. If you can find street parking and don’t mind the walk that’s an option as well. They do have a dress code here so if you’re walking your dog and decide to dine, this is not the place for you. It’s nicely decorated and put together, great ambiance and it was not too loud this night. Was able to have conversations without screaming across the table and the pianist most definitely kept us entertained while dining. He was very personable, came and introduced himself. Took requests and has an amazing voice. The restrooms were nice and clean. I liked that the stalls were individually roomed and the black toilets were a good addition to the uniqueness of the decor. On to the food and drinks. I ordered the Cucumber Hibiscus Smash. It was delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed how refreshing and crisp this drink was. It was made just right. For my entree, after seeing the bisque, I chose the Kennedy Caesar Salad with Shrimp added. I also chose to add a side of the Jalapeño Blue Cheese dressing as I wanted to try it. This choice was most definitely the best for me. I’d come here again just for this salad. I also was eyeing the lobster bisque as my entree however a few people ordered and it didn’t give me bisque vibes. It was more on the broth side with no cream in sight. That’s not bisque to me, however there are some that may see this differently. Others in my dinner party made note that the mashed potatoes were on the sweet side so I was glad that I didn’t go with that. Also important to note, don’t come expecting normal size portions. This is more on the tapas side of dining and the portions versus price would leave most wondering why they are still hungry after spending about a hundred bucks on dinner. Choose wisely. I opted out of dessert as I was full from the salad I inhaled. Yes that salad was filling. Others opted out of dessert due to price. Our waitress Jackie was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Gave great advice on dishes to order and suggestions of changes that could be done. It’s important to note, that there is a card acceptance fee charge for each guest(even if all on one check), auto gratuity(normal for our size party), they can only split the check per party three times, and they are a 21 and up restaurant. We opted to have one check. It was just easier for a part of 8. All in all, we had a great dining experience as we should for the amount of money spent.

Overall great experience . Know that the serving sizes are small . Drinks were good ! I also had two mocktails that were extremely refreshing . Highly recommend the truffle fries and mashed potatoes! Know that the menu is pretty small and set ! There are very small variations you can make to the menu . Keep in mind there’s a two hour table max .

More lounge. Less restaurant. So manage your expectations. Menu is small but my party of 6 was generally pleased with the flavor of all dishes ordered. The mozzarella stick and sea bass were table favorites. We were not so pleased with service. Drinks seemed to take an exceptionally long time to come to the table & there was a general lack of attention to detail. Loved the live piano music; hated the EDM DJ that took over around 9PM. Cute spot to pop in for drinks & a snack. Would probably go someplace else for dinner.

Pros: beautiful scenery, nice & cozy feel. Great atmosphere for a date night or for drinks with the girls. Drinks were 10/10! & excellent service by Will! Cons: only valet parking, food came out an hour after being seated, small menu, no sides on menu, VERY small portion of food. Honestly not worth the price. You will not get a full plate of pasta or steak with a side of mashed potatoes. Steak was over cooked as well, I asked for medium rare. I know this restaurant is new, but I would not recommend just yet. They have a few kinks to workout. Maybe in another 6 months to a year I’ll give them another try! Overall I would rate my experience a 6/10.

The Food: Hits and Misses The culinary side was the saving grace of the evening. We sampled several signature items: • Wagyu Smash Burger: A standard burger. The Wagyu beef was incredibly tender, paired with rich aged cheddar and crispy truffle fries. • Lobster Spaghetti Twist: The truffle white wine sauce was flavorful, and the lobster was cooked well. • Caviar Mozzarella Stick: A fun, whimsical appetizer, though perhaps more of an "Instagram moment" than a must-order for the price. Didn’t har THE CHEESE pull as expected • Pros: Gorgeous "East Coast style" architecture, food quality (especially the Wagyu), and elegant architecture. • Cons/Areas for Improvement: The atmosphere felt flat due to a lack of patrons, and the clientele didn't quite match the "Sunset Attire" dress code the venue aims for. It didn't feel like the "exclusive" birthday spot we were hoping for.

We dined here last night for New Year’s Eve with an 8:30 pm reservation. When the host seated us, we were not informed that there would be a separate event starting at 9:30 pm or that tables were being bought out for the night. That lack of communication ended up causing an unnecessary & uncomfortable situation later on. Throughout the evening, our server was outstanding, kind, attentive, & professional. The food was delicious, the drinks were good, & overall the quality matched the price point. Up until the incident, we were really enjoying our experience. At one point, my husband & I got up briefly to take a photo. As we returned to our table, a man wearing a sequin jacket aggressively stopped us &, in an extremely rude tone, told us, “You can’t sit there, that table has been bought.” We calmly tried to explain that we had been dining at that table all evening and were simply returning to our seats. Instead of listening, he repeatedly raised his voice, blocked the table, & continued to shout that we were not allowed to sit there. Our server noticed what was happening & immediately stepped in, explaining to the man that we were existing guests & that the table was ours. The man walked away angrily without apologizing. Our server then explained that there was an event taking place & that all tables had been bought out, & he sincerely apologized for the hosts not communicating this to us beforehand. He even told us he would speak to the individual who confronted us, only for us to find out that the man was the manager. While mistakes happen, a manager speaking to guests in such a disrespectful & confrontational manner is completely unacceptable, especially at an otherwise nice establishment. I’m writing this review to highlight how exceptionally our server handled the situation, but also to point out that management needs additional training in communication and customer service. One interaction like this can easily overshadow an otherwise great dining experience.

The food here is genuinely very good, and given the price, I was expecting nothing less. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the flavors and presentation were excellent. My only comment on the food itself is that the burger, while tasty, was drenched in oil. Still, overall, the food was the strongest part of the experience. Where things fell short was the service and overall professionalism. As someone who has worked in high-end restaurants in multiple roles, I was disappointed with the level of service during our visit. I went on a Sunday morning for a special anniversary meal. While the food was enjoyable, our server looked and acted like they had just woken up. Their demeanor and attire felt more like a franchise restaurant such as Applebee’s or Chili’s—totally acceptable if that were the experience I was looking for. But for the price point and the occasion, I expected the service to match the elevated atmosphere and menu. Beyond appearance and attitude, the actual service was poor: • Inconsistent attention: The server frequently disappeared for long stretches, didn’t refill drinks, and overall seemed disengaged. • Food not served together: My wifes and my meal came out at different times, leaving one plate sitting long enough to cool. In every restaurant I’ve worked at, food for a table is run together—especially for a party of two—so no one is left waiting or eating a cold dish. This is basic service execution in any sit-down establishment. • Payment interaction: The server held the POS device in front of me and looked over my shoulder as I chose the tip amount. In higher-end dining, the device is handed to the guest for privacy. Holding it like a coffee shop tablet felt awkward and out of place. • Valet professionalism: When we approached to hand over our ticket (we were the only guests there), the attendant was on a personal phone call that clearly wasn’t urgent. In every customer-facing job I’ve had, personal calls in front of guests are not allowed—let alone while a guest is waiting for assistance. To give credit where it’s due, the busser did a good job, and the hostess was the only staff member whose attitude and attire matched the standard of a high-end restaurant. But overall, the service did not align with the pricing or ambiance. For the same price, I could have gone to Yiayia’s, Casa do Brasil, or other high-end places nearby where the food and the service consistently justify the cost. If I wanted a franchise-level experience, I would have gone to a franchise and paid those prices—especially for an anniversary. Overall, excellent food and a beautiful place, but the service left me expecting much more.

Great ambience and setting. The hostess and pianist were fantastic. Unfortunately the food and service was not up to par. My friend ordered steak and 90% of the steak was fat. Although some fat is of course expected, there should be more meat (especially for the price). The food was also bland. The server was barely present throughout the evening (we thought at one point she left for the evening), forgot drink requests, and our bill had an additional item not ordered. The pianist, hostess, and employees bussing the tables were very kind. As long as you are in good company nothing can spoil the evening but this is definitely not a place any of us would return to based on service and food quality.

Skip this place. We arrived on a Sunday morning for brunch shortly after opening so the restaurant was pretty much empty. Our server Ingrid was slow and inattentive. We both ordered the steak and eggs and it was inedible. The steak was fatty, cold and unevenly cooked. The potatoes were 3 different temperatures. Steaming hot, room temperature and freezing cold. The toilets in the women’s bathroom are missing seats. We made Ingrid aware of the issues with our food and she had nothing to offer but the check. We paid and gladly left. Upon walking ourselves to our car we noticed an employee rushing groceries into the kitchen from HEB. 🤦🏾‍♀️ We had brunch at Truluck’s instead. Waste of $100.
