This place is phenomenal, ask for Jeremy because hes a really good server and has a great personality!!!!! Also really cute.

Drive through fare, good burgers and very friendly. Reasonable prices as well.

Idalou location makes food 100x better than Wolfforth. I'd rather make the drive to Idalou for this quality!!

Chili cheese burger, cheese stick, corn dogs, and Patty melt are amazing. Wash it down with a pink panther.

If you are in Idalou, Texas or driving through ... STOP at the Dixie Dog!!! The service I received Friday May 23, 2019 was over the top. And I FINALLY got to eat a REAL super dog ... flour battered / not cornmeal battered. Haven't had one of those in so many years that I can't even remember how long. Was a delicious taste of wonderful childhood memories! Even better was the fact that I got my Dixie Dig and small coke free. I had mentioned that it was my first time there and I hadn't had a super dog in years. When I pulled out money to pay, the young lady who took my order (Jamie) said, "No. It's on me." Having just left the Idalou cemetery for a cousin's graveside, this unexpected surprise certainly made my otherwise sad day better.

Just a real good greasy burger like you expect from an old dive like this. Great friendly service. Fries were great.

I had the cheeseburger and tots. The wife had a bacon cheeseburger and tots. Burger was a bit small for the price, but it was good. There were a lot of tots in the container, but no complaint there. They were crispy, just the way I like them. Will definitely be coming back for the Hot dog or the Dixiedog.

I ordered 2 burgers with fries. And they charged me 30 dollars. This place is way overpriced and the prices listed on Google and on the front of the business are not the prices that they are charging.

The burger and fries were okay just small. But the soda I got tasted nasty I went down the street to the store and threw it in the trash and bought another drink. My coworker felt the same way so I know something was wrong with their drinks.

Was very disappointed because I've heard good things about their food.

The window worker wasn't all too friendly either after having to tap on the window to get him to look up from his phone after being there for several minutes. Would recommend just not eating there.

I've went here at least twice a week for the past 2yrs and loved this place because the customer service was wonderful. Today I went and the gentleman was so rude. I will never return again. Yes that bad.

The first bite my boyfriend takes he pulls a LONG NASTY HAIR out of his mouth 🤮🤢 I called to let them know and all the wanted to do was refund the burger?? I love the food here, but recently they hired a guy that is so RUDE! When you call he is the most rude sounding person I’ve ever talked to. After every item you order he says “ok, what else”, but I’m the most rude tone. He sounds like he hates his job and can’t believe he has to take orders, as if it is the worst inconvenience ever. I know I’m not the only one that has had this issue lately. If he doesn’t like taking orders then please have someone else do so.

1st , Whoever the guy is that takes phone orders at noon is the worst. I had a burger a few weeks ago and it was pitiful. Tried again today and wish i could put a picture of the patty melt on here. Its about the right size for a 3 y old and taste horrible . Wont be back
